Great spot for coffee. Service was great as well. The only issue was with the food. Not sure if they were running low or what but for $18 i expect a sandwich to come with a healthy amount of substance but instead i got a mouthful of bread and a couple stray pieces of chicken.

Food: 4/5 Service: 3.5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Quick coffee stop after lunch. Parking was easy. I was there Friday around 2pm. There were few tables occupied and plenty of seating available. I like that they have back yard seating. It has very good potential for decoration. Now it's was just a bench table and couple of round tables. I ordered my go to, Cortado and my friend ordered matcha latte. Nowadays I have thing to sit down and have my coffee with proper cup, not paper cups. Paper cup is ok for to go. My cortado was ok and my friend's latte was also ok. Place is pretty mellow and good for meetings or to get some work done in peace.

The cashier was super friendly and provided great customer service. I was in town and searched for substitutions for Goldstein's that closed down last year. This was one of the suggestions. I ordered a plain bagel lightly toasted with cream cheese ($4.50), then realized they had viet coffee, which is my fav, so I ordered a regular sized one ($7). The bagel was soft and fresh, but a little on the drier side, and the cream cheese comes on the side which is nice to be able to put the amount I wanted myself. The viet coffee came in a 16 oz cup and was pretty much filled to the brim with ice, so there's very little coffee for the $7 price tag (I don't mind the price, just wished their was more drink instead of mostly ice). The flavor is really good at least. Overall this is a cute small business to support. Will def come back to try other items in the future.

This coffee shop is in a busy quite area in Arcadia with a small town charm. The service is pretty quick. The shop is not huge but they have at least 6-7 tables that I recall. Parking was easy to find on this Saturday. They have lots of drinks and baked goodies. I loved the Vietnamese ice coffee here. This is a locally owned coffee shop that has been here for years in downtown Arcadia. The inside is homey and unpretentious. Their coffee is really good. I have had their iced lattes, chaggachino, and today iced Vietnamese coffee. They make their Vietnamese coffee fresh on the spot, it's not pre-made. They also serve pastries made by Homeboy industries. I got a cranberry scone today and it was delicious. There is an outdoor patio in addition to inside seating. My only complaint is service could be better. I have been here 3x and the barista has never ever been friendly or smiley!

Can't explain it but this shop felt so welcoming and warm. I was greeted with a pleasant hello and I ordered a cold brew and carrot cake. Just the ambiance would make me come back but the cold brew was great and the carrot cake was so moist and fresh! I asked the lady and she had said they had been there for 24 years. Congrats!

I was in the area to check out a fitness studio and Hyper Coffee was down the street. Figured this is perfect for a quick lunch. Plus their coffee/latte + food menu looked pretty promising. Small shop but there are a few indoor and outdoor seating. And there's a nice patio area in the back. Ordered an iced pumpkin spice latte w/almond milk plus an avocado toast. So I see it cost $6.50 for a pumpkin spice latte on their menu board, but yet I was charged $6.75? I know it's only a 25 cent difference, yes, it may not be much. But it's the principal and this looks like unethical behavior for running their business like this. Also, an additional $1.25 because I wanted almond milk?!? Talk about price gouging at its finest. Most coffee shops don't even charge that much for milk alternatives! Ridiculous. The avocado toast was the most basic thing I've ever seen when it comes to how avocado toasts are made. Just avocado sliced on top, some scrambled eggs and a few whole tomatoes. (See photo attached). Another disappointing item. It cost $10 for this...should've been like $6 instead. Definitely felt ripped off.

Came here a couple months ago. The chaga match was good with a unique flavor from the mushroom, but it's too sweet without any adjustments. They could adjust it, but they said it would affect the flavor a bit. I also tried the croissant breakfast sandwich with eggs and cheese. That was really good and the portion is bigger than I thought. The inside is not very big, but there are at least 4-5 tables available if I remember correctly. They also have an outside area to sit behind the cafe with umbrella coverage. The staff is super nice and the place felt clean. Good place to chat with friends.

I had ordered the chaggacino so the oatmilk and a shot of espresso. The entire experience was pretty straightforward. Just ordered my drink, received it and very minimal interaction. My drink was made well. Parking is curbside.

I visited on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. I really like the cozy atmosphere here--it's a nice spot for studying or hanging out with friends. There are multiple outlets and free Wi-Fi. Also seating indoor and outdoor. The service was friendly, and they offer a variety of delicious breakfast sandwiches and lunch options. I tried their Nuttin Honey iced coffee and the Lox bagel. The coffee was pretty good, however I thought the bagel was a little salty for my liking. I'll definitely be coming back!

The food was fresh, delicious and very fresh. The vinaigrette was light and didn't feel overpowering. The service courteous and prompt. Very professional. A warm ambiance and they even have an outdoor patio. I highly recommend you come support our local, privately owned small business.

Hyper Coffee was THE spot to hangout when I was in middle/high school... but surprisingly, today was my first time here! At 8am there were a few people working and sipping on their morning coffee already and there was plenty of free street parking. I ordered a chai latte 16oz which comes out to about $5. I actually thought the chai latte was incredibly mediocre and tasted mostly like sweet milk. The ambiance of the cafe is nothing special - no cute decor, music, or any notably comfortable or aesthetic furniture. It's not a "cute" cafe by any means, but it gets the job done. They have one gender neutral restroom that's clean. Servers are generally friendly. They also have outdoor seating. read more

I have been going to hyper coffee for 4 years now, every time i go i love the friendly faces and great service. I look forward to the weekly specials. The food is exceptionally fresh and very tasty. My favorite place to sit is in the back patio while sipping on cappuccino. My husband almost always gets the bagel with salmon with a chagaccino. If you want a great coffee you have to make time to get down to Hyper Coffee. Don't forget to try the watermelon juice it is so delicious read more

In an effort to support small coffee shops I went to Hyper coffee every Friday for about a month and a half. It's $8 for a small latte alone. And both times I ordered a peanut butter and jelly bagel, they messed up and gave me a plain bagel with a side of cream cheese. I called the second time to complain about the mix up since I was at work by the time I noticed and the girl said she would refund me and it'll show up in a couple days. Refund was never received. Plus owner looked annoyed when I was waiting outside one time when they were opening even though there were several other people as well. Owner and employees have a bad attitude, coffee is way too overpriced, and order messed up twice all give me reason to not want to return. read more

#30 in the Coffeeshop Chronicles. Sadly, my iced lattes were mediocre and were both thrown out after just a few sips. Service was also lacking, as I was standing in front of the small counter, clearly visible, waiting to order for 5+ minutes before the employee even bothered to greet me let alone assist me (and there was no one else in the shop). My cranberry scone was good though, but not enough to entice me to come back. ********************* My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. I came here on a nice fall Sunday and there was no wait like the other brunch places. That was a major plus until we ordered our food. I got the lox croissant sandwich and it was SO UNDERWHELMING. It was a croissant which 2 oz of salmon and 2 tablespoons of cream cheese. And that was it. That was $13 flat and it was something I could have made at home. Nothing was special and at the end of it, I was still hungry. For a $13 croissant, I expected a bit more salmon. Not to mention that water was $2 a bottle and if you ask for a cup of water, it is $0.50. Here comes the worst part. In addition, after a few more hours, my stomach started to feel weird. I remember opening up my sandwich to see how much salmon they put in it and it was rather browning up. I didn't think much of it since I was in a hurry and I wanted to just eat. It was a big mistake because now I am writing this review on my toilet in major pain. I am a major supporter of small local businesses. Maybe I came on an off day and their salmon was just bad. Either way, I would avoid this place next time. Come here if you want to try it out but don't expect something amazing. read more

First time at hyper coffee!! wanted to explore cafes in the area and loved hyper coffee!! Food/Drink: -chocolate scone made by homeboy industries: VERYYYYY deilcious!!!! it's quite sweet but in a bready way which is..my favorite. So definitely a fave! -matcha latte: delicious : ) not too sweet, and lovelyly creamy and tea-ey! Space: -very cute and lots of tables with 2-3 seats and saw several people studying or just sitting and enjoying their drinks -cute area with books/things to see Price: -Normal for drinks/scone Overall: -YES will be back when in the area and definitely grab an extra scone for later : ) read more

Local, cute, calm, peaceful coffee shop. Has a very welcoming feel. Women behind the counter seemed sweet. I ordered the lavender latte, extra lavender. Honestly I was super disappointed. The lavender taste was very light and I didn't taste the espresso. It was more of a lavender milk. I may give them another chance in the future but it's up for debate. read more

I got the golden turmeric latte and it only comes in 10oz size. My order came out really fast. There's lots of newspapers, magazines, and books to read while sipping on a cup of latte here. There is one restroom and you can access it by asking for the key. There's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Overall a pretty clean place. read more

This cute little coffee shop located in downtown Arcadia. I came here for lunch. There is only 1 cashier working when I came to the store, and I thought it will take a while for the food to be ready. Ordered Turkey Sub panini, tuna panini, Earl Grey Tea, and Mango smoothie. Surprisingly, food and drinks are both ready within 5 minutes. The panini was slightly toasted, and they were flavorful. Both panini were not overly seasoned or oily. The Earl Grey has lavender flavor, and it was another surprise for me. Mango smoothie was good too. Fast services, friendly staff, tasty food and drink. Loved bringing my dog here to sit in the patio. Do wear some insect repellent though if it's a hot day! They have wifi which allowed me to get a good amount of work done! Their chai tea latte is decent and while their drinks aren't gonna be anything particularly special I think it definitely hit the spot. They also have some food options which I will certainly next time. read more

I really like this coffee shops. It's a no frills mom n pop coffee shop. Perfect if you need somewhere chill to get some work done while getting a bite and drink while you're at it. I like getting a bagel sandwich and an iced mocha or golden latte. They also have salads, wraps, pastries, etc. I found them while trying to find somewhere quiet to work and needed to make sure there were outlets and free wifi. There's also outdoor seating in the back. I love that it's not on the main streets and tucked inside. Parking is easy in the mornings. Hope you enjoy this place! read more

I've been coming to hyper coffee for many years, and it's the perfect combination of mom and pop coffee shop and delicious breakfast and lunch joint! The service is always amazing, you always get treated like family. The coffee is delicious and lots of variety. The food is simple and delicious! Patio seating in the back. I'll give it to them for being one of the only coffee shops in the area with actual outdoor seating (not just 1-2 two-seater tables) Small business I'm guessing with the same lady working behind the counter. Drinks are average but suffices. There are some bakery items and some sandwiches and cakes. Minimum $5 for card! read more

Appreciate the ambiance and wifi. The chagaccino is delicious. BUT the food...extremely overpriced. I got the Chipotle chicken sandwich with a salad for $18. There were two thin strips of chicken, in stead of a whole breast, so it was mostly not fresh bread and Mayo. Avocado wasn't ripe either or on the side as we asked. Not sure it can be called salad when it was just lettuce with balsamic drizzle. I would say what we received was worth $5 tops. Very disappointed because the photos on the menu look full of chicken and delicious. You can tell the chicken was a couple strips from a frozen pack. I would be putting one star based on the disappointing and overpriced sandwich, but it really is a cute local place. Stick to the coffee, and you'll be happy. read more

R and I came for a quick pick me up from shopping with the kids. It was a cozy little place. It felt like a regular coffee shop. I would come again for some coffee. I really want to support local businesses and often find a local cafe to work from but it becomes very difficult to do so when the pricing is so out of touch, especially when it comes to the lunch menu. I will admit, all I ordered was a cold brew but it wasn't impressionable enough for me to say whether it's good/bad or want to come back for another. When it got to lunch time, I planned to order a panini that I saw photos of in other yell reviews. After looking at the menu and noticing that that the average lunch item was around ~$15 I had to reconsider. I ended up going across the street to get Boiling Point to have their lunch special, which includes a full sized individual hotpot AND drink for the same $15. I don't think I'll be visiting Hyper Coffee any time soon unless pricing is adjusted to be more reasonable. read more

I'm staying in the area and love to try new coffee shops, I was intrigued by all the good reviews here so I gave it a shot. It was bleh. Overpriced (I got a white chocolate mocha latte for $6/7) and my drink just tasted off, like the milk was just about to go bad? I took 2 sips and tossed it. As for service the girl taking my order was nice enough, nothing out of the ordinary. read more

Wife and I went to Hyper Coffee. First time visiting Hyper Coffee. Ordered latte and an egg and cheese sandwich. Horrible egg sandwich, tasted like burn plastic. Quietly asked one of the coffee shop attendants to take it back to their kitchen. Owner did not care, no follow up, no offer to correct the issue, no interest in asking about what might have been wrong with it. This is a one-transaction shop; as if they are in for a quick buck and nothing else. Needless to state this was our first and last time visiting this place. If you happen to visit here, stick to the latte coffee as they are good enough or just plainly do not waste your money and go somewhere else! read more

Absolutely loved my Nuttin Honey latte. It's a hazelnut honey latte. Cute coffee shop with small tables where you can chat with friends, catch up on work, or just relax. They have quite a few options of pastries and lunch items. They all looked delicious. I read it was dog friendly as well which I love. read more

Excellent strong latte. The purrrrfect pick-me up in late afternoon. Got the lavender latte iced and cinnamon &honey latte hot. Cutest little patio space in the back of the cafe. Will cime back when ww have more time to hang out. read more

I used to love going to this place. Especially before and during Covid times. recently went back and now they charge $1.75 extra for Oatmilk? Its 2025, oatmilk is readily available. Charging customers almost half the cost of the coffee is ridiculous. Do better, its not that serious. Most places is $1.00 max for milk substitutes. read more
