Holy VIBES!! Aesthetic is nothing like I've experienced! Service was great! Friendly staff! Helpful Was suggested the Camellia Oolong Milk Tea was a popular one with floral notes It didn't disappoint!! 10/10 I got mine with : - oat milk - honey boba - 70% sweet - light ice Will definitely be coming back when I visit the San Gabriel area! This is a MUST experience! Also, parking was a breeze! They have their own parking lot convenient!

5/15/2026 1st time. They don't have brown sugar boba. Sad! We tried 2 drinks: - Matcha Cookie Smoothie (10% Sugar) Great concept! It has crushed biscoff at the bottom of the drink. I ordered it with 10% sugar, and it's perfect for me. I will order it with 0% next time to try. The cookie bits do add an enjoyable kick to the experience. Order it! - Orange jasmine fruit tea with floral tea jelly Another great drink if you're not into matcha and crave for something lighter and fresh. The tea jelly is melt-in-your-mouth soft but tbh I will skip it next time. I personally prefer either aloe Vera or agar boba for topping for fruit teas. I would def go back and try their other drinks!

With all the boba spots in this area, where does one go? I recently stopped by UG Tea and it is now my favorite spot. I've tried Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea and 15 Jasmine Milk Tea so far. I usually get 70% sweet. I believe their usual is 30% sweet. I appreciate the big parking lot and it is spacious inside. Can always hang out with friends while you sip away. I downloaded the app on my phone to collect points. I'd love to try their matcha drinks next time.

I found unexpected happiness at UG Tea (San Gabriel). I ordered the Next Level Matcha Latte ($6.95 - 16oz - Recommended 30% Sugar). It's TASTY!! It's smooth, milky, and carries a vanilla aftertaste mixed with matcha. I sipped happily. I arrived at UG Tea (San Gabriel) on Monday (around 11:24AM). Parking is simple. There's reserved parking for customers; I counted about 20 parking spots. It's also really charming how the parking lot has a sound system that plays powerful, upbeat party music. Customers can order at counter or self-service kiosk. Staff is cordial and friendly. Staff provided wonderful recommendations, but Staff seemed a little skittish when asked questions. My drink took about two minutes. Fast!! As mentioned, I ordered the Next Level Matcha Latte ($6.95 - 16oz - Recommended 30% Sugar). It's refreshing!! It tasted balanced & purposeful, and I liked how the usual earthy matcha felt subtle as it mingled with the vanilla and milk. YUM!! On ambiance, UG Tea (San Gabriel) is gorgeous and upscale. It's SHINY! The floors sparkled. The music also felt very fun. When I'd arrived, it was fairly empty, so the place felt very spacious. I also really enjoyed all the plush cushion seating. However, UG Tea (San Gabriel) is not an ideal study/work spot. I found about one easily accessible electrical outlet. Ugh... Thankfully, there's customer internet with password; details are available from Staff. The location only has four normal mini tables and nine miniature stool tables. In addition, there's also a gender neutral restroom. Overall, I found unexpected joy at UG Tea (San Gabriel). The drinks are delicious, and the cute, aesthetic photo shots are plentiful. It's a must try! 4.9 out of 5

There's so many boba shops in SGV! And of course I am on a mission to try them all! I went here the other day, and tried a blue smoothie. It was delicious. They do take a long time make the drinks. Maybe because they're so many orders or maybe because they're still new. I love the ambiance. It's beautiful with the greenery. I also love that they plant trees for every x amount of drinks purchased

Ordered the matcha cookie smoothie with the recommendation of the barista. It's a matcha smoothie with a layer of Biscoff cookie at the bottom, which adds a really nice sweetness and texture. I asked if I could adjust the sugar and they mentioned that the lowest it could go was 10%. Even though you can't get it fully unsweetened, it still tasted rich and wasn't too sweet. Although there was plenty of parking, it can be difficult to get out of the parking lot due to how much traffic there can be on Valley.

Had to check out this trendy boba spot and see what all the hype was about. First impression was that this is a unique boba shop for sure. The fashion-forward, nature-inspired, minimalist aesthetic is quite appealing. I am also glad to say that the drinks do live up to the hype. My husband and I might be addicted to this place now. The uji matcha drinks here are superior. I would highly recommend the Cloud Matcha Latte, which is topped with crunchy pecan pieces and whipped cream. It is smooth, creamy, and delicious. Another standout is the 15 Jasmine Matcha Cream Latte, which has a soft matcha cream top. The texture is very smooth and enjoyable to drink. For fruit tea lovers, I would recommend the Peach Camellia Fruit Tea. It had a natural fruity peach flavor mixed with camellia-based tea. The floral notes were noticeable and it did not taste syrupy at all. I really enjoyed the lychee jelly and peach bits that were included in the drink.

Overall: Very modern and artsy looking store thats relatively large. Drinks were very good and they have a lot of different variety from fruity drinks to milky drinks which can fit many different tastes. Packaging is very nice. The milk teas are on the milkier side. I preferred the matcha drinks and the fruit teas over their milk teas. The Service: We came on a weekend and there was about a 20 minute wait to order drinks. The lined moved relatively quickly. The person taking my order was nice and answered any questions that I had about the drinks. The Drinks: Jasmine Milk Tea - The jasmine tea was nice, but didn't taste as good compared to other milk tea places that serve jasmine tea. I'm not sure if it's their special milk that they offer, but the drink was very milky and the tea flavor didn't shine through. Camellia Oolong Milk Tea - Pretty similar to the jasmine tea in that it was milky and the tea flavor didn't really shine through. Cloud Matcha Latte - I enjoyed that the match flavor was very strong and wasn't watered down or too milky. I definitely want to try their other matcha drinks next time. Peach Camellia Fruit Tea - The peach flavor was very strong and paired well with the camellia oolong tea. this was my third favorite. Orange Jasmine Fruit Tea - This was my favorite of the teas - the bright orange flavor paired well with the lightness of the jasmine tea. Sometimes with orange teas, the orange flavor can overpower the jasmine tea, but this wasn't the case. Price: About $6-7 for the drinks. I think it's $7 for the larger size which is normal pricing in my opinion for that size drink. The Atmosphere: Very artsy location - its pretty large and plenty of seating. There is a photobooth that you can take some cool photos (it's an additional cost though). It kind of feels like Team Labs in Japan with the type of decor. Parking: They have a small lot next to it and there's street parking. It can get crowded since it's a popular place.

Cool promo!! Lip balm $29 OR buy 2 matcha drinks + 2 other drinks, and this lip balm is FREE!!!!

Somewhere out there, people are lining up like it's a sneaker drop at Trader Joe's...... for what, tote bags!!?!? Tote bags!!!!!! Meanwhile, I'm casually strolling into UG Tea like a hydrated genius, ordering my ceremonial-grade matcha latte and getting a cute drink tote for free, as nature intended. Matcha is legit!! Earthy, nutty, and made to perfection!! Chef's kiss!!! UG Tea is my go-to tea spot at this point. The matcha hits, the vibes are right, and the staff (shoutout to Bailey) are out here being genuinely delightful humans!! He even put me onto a promo that feels borderline illegal: snag a lip balm for $29, or just live your best life and order two matchas plus two other drinks and boom, free lip balm!!!! Hydration -AND- lip care? We love a multitasking queen!!! Parking is easy too, there's a private lot, and if it's packed, there's backup underground parking nearby. No hunger games, no circling like a hawk!! *Side note: It gets busy here bc it's right off of Valley Blvd!! Aside from the matcha being amazing, they hand you your drink in a tote!! So instead of fighting a crowd for an empty tote bag at Trader Joe's, go to UG Tea and you can sip something delicious and walk out with one!! GET YOUR CUTE TOTE BAG RIGHT NOW!!!!

So we stopped by after eating lunch nearby to check UG Tea out. The interiors is pretty modern with cute fixtures and areas to hang. It was nice that for the introverted soul, the store had a screen to order from. We got the hibiscus roast milk tea at less ice and 30% sweet, and I can't say I was impressed. The tea flavor was completely overshadowed by the oat milk, and perhaps it's because more milk needed to be added due to the reduction of ice, but that does mean they don't necessarily have their milk tea ratios down.

A new spot in SGV, and a very unique one for sure. Similar vibes to a Gentle Monster store. Very spacious, artistic, futuristics, and definitely artistic. Decent amount of tables around, and plenty of wall seating. Everywhere you look is a photo opportunity so this is a great spot to visit. Parking is pretty plentiful, although it's just a small parking lot, there's plenty of parking spaces along with curbside parking as well. Like their name says, Unique Green Tea, my wife and I had to try their matcha. Tried both their Cloud Matcha Latte, Next Level Matcha Latte, 15 Jasmine Matcha Cream Latte, and their Peach Camellia Fruit Tea through multiple visits. One thing I like about their drinks are the cups. Pretty underrated in my opinion, very sturdy, hard to spill, and overall a cute design. A decent cup is always a sign of a solid boba shop and UG Tea is definitely one of them. They also have one of the best "reusable" carry out bags that come with your drink if you order online or request a bag. Sealable bag, with handles, solid design, and good material. To the drink itself, all 4 drinks I've tried are plenty refreshing. The flavor is certainly on the stronger side but with higher level of ingredients, it's expected. The fragrant flavors are not too overwhelming which makes the drink very addicting to a point. The unique types of drinks they sell are eye catching so I'll certainly try another drink in my next visit. Overall, a great addition to the congested boba space in the SGV. A solid spot that provides great high quality drinks and is a great spot for hangouts. I find that downloading their app along with the Fantuan App is great for discounts. Highly recommend ordering online and going to pickup your order. Staff is pretty quick and friendly.

Y2K hellscape. Just kidding! But if you're into that aesthetic, this is a great place to do take photos and do a photoshoot and maybe pay $13 for their photobooth. When I visited, there were a lot of older folks there (mid day on a weekday) and they were just hanging out, which was okay too. Some had their sandals off though...LOL. PRO-TIP: I think you can get a free drink if you order ahead. They had a sign advertising that near the door, I believe. Months ago before they opened, my friends and I saw the sign on the side of the building advertising UG and knew we had to try since another contender entered the boba gauntlet on this street (crazy competition I can't imagine). After the hype died down and going at a very strange time, I actually bumped into my friend here hilariously enough. Since it's UG Tea, aka Unique Green Tea, I felt like you had to get something "green" to really see what they're all about, I mean it's in the name. We all got the Next Level Matcha Latte. It's a creamy matcha smoothy with some cheese to add a bit of savoriness to it. It's alright, but nothing that can compare to the heavy hitters that are taking over the boba scene in SoCal, or even just up and down this street if you think about it. Think of a light cheese milk drink with a very subtle taste of matcha. You're not going to get something on Yamari level, but I expected a little bit more out of a place with green in the name and this being a "green" drink. Or maybe that wasn't the theme or intention of the business and the green was about restoring green spaces in the world (they do plant a tree for x number of drinks purchased which is pretty neat). I'd put this drink on a mid tier common tea franchise level and not something where SoCal only has one thus far. Like with Guiji, maybe I ordered the wrong thing or what they're not really known for? I don't mind giving them one more chance to see what sets them apart.

Come here to try out their milk tea and it was okay experience - Interior: Everything looks new fashion and easy IG photo pose for any corner. I love new paint smell when I walk in here. 10/10 for designing part - Service: the cashier somewhat looks tired and you can only choose one topping ( cant order more toppings even on the side) minus points for me because why?? - Drinks: the drinks are okay, the tea's aroma is not that much. Maybe if I come back I'd try matcha

The Butterfly Collection: Honey Lemon Butterly Tea w/ Basil Seed 4.25/5 30% sugar. Like that it's slightly tart. Flavor/taste is good. Butterfly Pea Milk Tea w/ Basil Seed 4.25/5 30% sugar. Tastes sweeter than 30% sugar. Could taste the condensed milk. OTHER DRINKS: Yuzu Rose Tea 4.5/5 Bf likes this drink. I have couple sips and thought it was good (would order again). They've been importing, growing, and supplying tea for over 80 years. There was a time when my ex was considering opening a Thai restaurant, and we'd go to LAX-C outside of downtown LA to make sure we could get Cha TraMue tea leaves in bulk. I actually like their rose drinks quite a bit too. And their choice of plastic cups are at least more structurally hardy - unlike places like 85'C that have cheaped out into using the softer, malleable plastic cups that have a higher tendency to leach microplastics under heat. I will say, I wouldn't deviate from the sweetness level for Thai tea too much. This location is a bit inconsistent so it'll taste off if you try to go to 70% or 50%. I usually avoid boba, but I make it an exception to get their pandan boba. Although again... sometimes their at this location is inconsistent, and it'll be missing that pleasant, aromatic pandan essence. Plus the they've also been too chicken shit to call out my name. You know, you enter your name: "Fat Boy." But when my order was ready, they'd only say "Boy!" Now I don't feel so guilty tipping only 15% instead of 20%.

Even though there was only 1 party ahead of us, it took around 15-20 minutes to get our drinks. But I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since we ordered a lot of drinks. For myself, I was able to try the traditional roasted oolong milk tea with pearl and the hojicha latte-- both at 70% sweet. I have a sweet tooth, so the sweetness was at a perfect level for both. However, I didn't get that much of a strong roasted oolong taste in the milk tea as I've gotten from other boba shops. The hojicha latte was good enough, but also did not have that strong, nutty taste in comparison to others. I am more of a milk tea person, but maybe next time I'll try the honey osthamnthus tea since a lot of people seem to love it!

I arrived at Moncha Cafe (Rosemead) on Tuesday - May 12, 2026 (at 12PM - Opening Time). The location was DIRTY! I quickly found parking in the small lot; it fits about 15 cars.
