ORDER london fog matcha (3.5/5) the earl grey flavor was a little too strong for my liking and overpowered the matcha, but i do see the potential and am excited to come back to try the other drinks! i tried just the earl grey foam and even that was too strong. very good price considering the size. bonus points for free milk alternatives :P SERVICE the cashier was super sweet and the drinks came out fast. i think they do whisk the matcha to order. AMBIANCE parking in the back, very spacious store, good study spot
Peaceful and relaxing cafe with a variety of seating. Very clean, and the cushy chairs at the tables are very comfy! :) The staff are welcoming and nice. They ask what customizations you would like and tell you the options, without you having to remember to ask. I so appreciated this bc I was not thinking when ordering and forgot to ask! I got the London Fog Matcha Latte with whole milk, no ice, and 50% sugar (which is from their housemade earl grey syrup). It was a perfect amount of flavor for me without being too sweet. I liked the cream top which was earl grey flavored too I think. (You can also get no cream top.) They have one hot drink on the menu (Usucha) but you can also just get no ice for the other drinks (which I did) if you're not feeling an iced drink. Street parking right outside the cafe (2h, free). Definitely will be back, especially when I'm in the area! (visited Saturday morning soon after they opened)
Stopped by Maicha Matcha on my way to work for a little Friday pick-me-up, I'm so glad I finally got around to it! I was between the strawberry & mango matcha but Lisa recommended I tried their seasonal Mango Matcha, it was such a refreshing combination. The mango flavor was wonderful & paired really nicely with the matcha, & I'd definitely order it again. So thank you for the recommendation!(: The space itself is very simplistic & minimal, but clean & welcoming. It's a smaller spot located along a pretty busy street, so parking can be a little tricky. There is street parking available, but just keep in mind that it can get busy depending on the time you visit. The staff was really sweet & friendly! They were pretty slammed when I stopped in, so told me it would be a wait maybe about 10mins (they were telling everyone that) but some weren't as friendly for the delay so walked aways without saying thank you (so rude) cause they were working hard to keep up with the orders. Definitely a reminder to be patient & kind when places are busy, everyone is doing their best! Overall, I had a great first experience & would definitely come back to try more of their drinks. I'm especially curious to see what seasonal flavors they come out with next!
Tried their passion matcha fizz and matcha latte this time, and both were 5/5! Such a reliable matcha spot that hand-whisks each drink to order. The matcha tastes fresh, vibrant, and delicious. Definitely a spot I can count on for a great matcha--highly recommend!
Visited on a Sunday around 930am. The place is clean and spacious, with a cool and comfy temperature inside with the AC on. There are a few tables in the front and one larger table that can seat 6 in the back. My partner ordered the Strawberry Matcha and I ordered the Black Sesame Tangyuan hojicha latte. The drinks were ready in less than 10 minutes. I enjoyed the hojicha latte. The cream top was not too sweat and the rice balls were a pleasant surprise & tasted cooked to perfection. Definitely more of a dessert-y drink but worth it for $8 if you ask me. I can see other places charging $10 for that drink. I wouldn't mind coming back to this place if I happened to be in Arcadia area.
Wonderful matcha spot in Arcadia, with easy free street parking. I've tried the London Fog matcha latte (comes with foam) and strawberry matcha latte with oat milk. The matcha isn't bold or have much unami, but it's earthy, not bitter, and pairs well with your flavor of choice. I think casual matcha drinkers would enjoy the taste. There is ample seating and the cafe is clean and minimally decorated. Staff is also friendly. Look forward to trying another one of their matchas on my third visit!
Maicha Matcha has a large parking lot in the back, which is always a plus! I also really appreciate that their drinks are hand-whisked. I got the Strawberry Matcha and Black Sesame Tangyuan Hojicha, and I definitely enjoyed both drinks! The flavors were delicious and well-balanced. I also love that you can choose your milk base without an extra charge. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the cafe has a nice atmosphere for studying, getting some work done, or catching up with a friend. Definitely would come back to try more!
Great matcha spot in the heart of downtown Arcadia. The space has a really nice modern, minimalist feel, everyone was super friendly and made great recommendations. Everything was pretty perfect! We got the strawberry matcha and the cold brew jasmine matcha milk tea. Both were really good! Definitely adding this to my list of spots to come back to.
Ordered the jasmine MT matcha latte and the hojicha latte, total was about $20. The jasmine matcha was just okay, more jasmine MT forward and the matcha did not stand out. The hojicha was good and would recommend. The shop is cute and very minimalist/clean.
I've been loving matcha instead of coffee and was happy to see a beautifully renovated matcha business opened up on Huntington Dr. They really are doing what they advertise on social and hand-whisk each order to deliver the best matcha drink. I got a Matcha Latte (Matcha w/ Milk & Agave) with Salted Cream Top for myself and a Hojicha Einspanner (Hojicha Latte, Agave, and Signature Salted Cream) for my fiancé. Both of the drinks were delicious with the my regular Matcha Latte giving my morning a quick kickstart with it's bright green earthy taste, and the Hojicha latte a toasty, warm, and smooth pick-me-up kind of feeling. I would get both drinks again and again! On my first sip, I was already texting my matcha-loving friends to give Maicha Matcha a try. Their menu is pretty extensive and I saw the team members even making matcha with fruit juices like their Mango Passion Matcha Spritz or their Strawberry Matcha Latte; these are definitely menu items I want to try the next time around! If you don't get lucky with a parking spot on Huntington Dr, just circle around on Santa Anita Ave and turn into the lot in the back. Plenty of parking spaces available and they have a back entrance as well. Their team members are all friendly and helpful with explaining the menu items since it was our first time there. They were completed with both our drinks in less than 10 minutes! I'll definitely come back here when I am feeling like a matcha again!
Tried the mango matcha today and it was delicious! It was the right amount of sweetness and the service was great. Everybody was really helpful and I appreciate the ample amount of tables. Makes it perfect to work remotely! My favorite would be the corn matcha which was a specialty offering! If they decide to offer again, I would highly recommend giving it a try!
The matcha quality here isn't the best - it has a lingering bitterness and is astringent on the tongue. It's very caffeinated and the lack of smoothness is covered by syrups. With that being said, my london fog matcha latte was alright. Not really worth $7.25 but I like the cafe and the ambiance / vibe- it's a nice spot to get work done. I like that there's a restroom and I love their minimalist decor. I'll probably be back to try their other drinks and work from here again.

Finally a decent matcha spot in the 626!!! The matcha drinks here are rich, delicious, and really flavorful. I've tried the matcha latte, london fog matcha, and strawberry matcha, and all of them were amazing. If you don't like overly sweet drinks, I would recommend adjusting the sweetness since they tend to be on the sweeter side. The interior design is clean and minimal--definitely seems like a nice place for people to study and hang out. Service is always friendly! Love Maicha Matcha! read more
Located on Huntington Dr with free street parking in the front and lot parking in the back. They whisk their matcha from scratch, so the frothy-ness is all from manual labor. The matcha drinks I got were all smooth (no clumps), so I'll give it to them that they whisk it well. 1. Double Coconut Matcha (4/5) An overall decent drink for those who like matcha and coconut water. The matcha was rich, but not too grassy in flavor. The coconut water was refreshing, but was overpowered by the matcha flavor, which I'm ok with. Personally, I did not care for the coconut cream cold foam. Other than it adding an aesthetic profile to the drink, it did not contribute to the drink in a positive way. The foam was not light or creamy, but instead, had a greasiness/oily-ness to it, so it did not mix well with the drink. It's good for those who don't like the cream top overpowering their drink's flavor, but for me, I like my cream to mix with my drink to give it the milky/creaminess. I'll get this drink with the foam next time. 2. Cold Brew Jasmine Matcha Milk Tea (5/5) This was by far my favorite drink. It's a unique drink to this place that they've creatively created. They basically brew jasmine tea (in milk tea form) over 24-hours to give it the super-rich floral jasmine tea flavor. Then they pour freshly whisked premium matcha over it. The combination was a tasty delight; think Jasmine Matcha flavor. 3. Coconut Cream Coffee (4/5) The name of this drink is a bit misleading because the cream did not have any coconut flavor at all. It just had coconut shavings sprinkled on top of the cream. The coffee was strong and quite bitter on its own. However, once it is mixed with the condensed milk, it's more enjoyable. 4. Miso Spam Croissant (2/5): This is where I am going to deduct a star. In the small display case, there were 3 flavors of croissants - Miso spam, pork sung & scallion, and ham & corn cheese. I wanted to try the miso spam as that's not an everyday flavor you see. After placing my order, one of the staff went over to the display case to get my croissant, but then pointed out to another staff that the name plates were swapped between the miso spam and the ham& corn cheese. She proceeded to swap the name plates and then went to grab the croissant that was initially under "miso spam," but now "ham and corn cheese. The 2 staff looked at each other in confusion and the female staff said (right in front of me, the customer), "oh well, who cares." I literally said, "NO, it is NOT OH WELL, it is my food and I want to make sure I am getting what I ordered." I was reassured by them that they selected the corrected flavor. Well as you can guess, when I got home and heated it up later that day to eat ... it was ham inside x-x The croissant itself was flaky, but the filling was a disappointment, and we really didn't get the overall flavor profile. read more
A spacious cafe with classics and unique beverages that will have you coming back! I got the london fog matcha and black sesame hojicha. Maicha does their cream tops really well--with a good cream to earl grey/black sesame ratio. In a way, the cream tops overpowered the tea flavors, so I think the beverages could do with a little less milk and a little more of each powder. The early grey cream was on the sweeter side but still very manageable when paired with the matcha. The black sesame cream was nutty and ever so salty, which worked nicely with the earthiness from hojicha. The unexpected star of the show was the large, chewy tangyuan. Not sure where they source them, but I could order a whole bowl! read more

Ok Maicha Matcha has quickly climbed up my go to matcha spots and is now sitting as my #1 in the entire SGV. Their special promo banana pudding double matcha is heaven in a 16fl oz cup. The staff shared it's a labor intensive drink to make the banana pudding and I just want to thank the staff for 1) making it 2) we taste the love and soul you poured in. read more
Great spot for matcha, Hojicha, a select variety of viet coffee. My favorite is their matcha with strawberry or their brown sugar hojicha latte. Not too sweet which is great. Their sesame hojicha is also great and comes with two mochiballs. They also have some limited pastries. My favorite is their Matcha white chocolate cookie with mochi pieces inside. read more
Such a nice matcha spot! First thing I noticed was how cool it was inside (the AC was great). The cafe was very clean, the workers were super friendly, and the seats were comfy. They also have restrooms which is a plus. Parking was easy as well! there is a large parking lot in the back. I got a double coconut matcha, and it was yummy with a strong matcha flavor. I like that you can customize the sweetness and ice level to your preference. Overall, great place to grab a drink, study, or relax for a bit. read more

Carrying the last name of matcha was such attention stealer, but at same time setting the expectation high. The place was well-lit and somewhat giving that clean impression being mostly white-themed. They obviously carried different kinds of matcha drinks. Feeling like going for something basic today, I opted for their Matcha Latte with almond milk while my husband went for their London Fog Matcha which was a blend of matcha and house earl grey syrup, and came in larger size. Ice and sweetness level were customizable. They were decent but I somewhat felt they're tad creamier than I expected. The London Fog Matcha might suit you if you loved earl grey and just wanted a hint of matcha in the drink. Prolly would go with Matcha cortado next time! read more

(+) London Fog Matcha Latte (+) Strawberry Matcha Latte Maicha Matcha is a coffee/match spot that opened recently in Arcadia. Parking is easily accessible behind the building. There are two entrances in the front and back. The shop is known for being open because the tables are spread out, with plenty of natural light. A great place to chat with friends, or to get some work done. Whole, oat, and almond milk are your choices for your drinks. Sugar and ice levels can be adjusted. Drinks: I've tried the London fog and strawberry matcha lattes. I liked the London fog better, but not by much. The earl grey syrup prepared was great tasting. The matcha here is creamier than most other matcha places. It is quality matcha but texture is something I noticed. Depends on how you prefer but definitely give it a try. The servers are helpful with ordering and very friendly. I will be back and love the convenience of running in and out in a timely manner. read more
One of the best matcha lattes I've had in Arcadia! I got the London Fog Matcha Latte and the Coconut Cream Coffee. Wow, you can really tell they use high quality matcha. It just hits differently. I also love the interior. It's super clean and inviting, and there's plenty of space to relax. Parking is easy too. There's a parking lot behind the building, plus street parking right out front. The downtown location is so convenient. This is definitely going to be my go to matcha spot whenever I'm in the Arcadia area! read more

Soo thrilled they're no longer in soft opening! This weekend was their GRAND OPENING - 6/20 & 6/21 - 9am-5pm! I went during their soft opening weekend and was given a free drink coupon so I redeemed that today. Parking was easy and plentiful since there was a lot of parking in the back. It was a bit inconvenient that they kept the back door locked so I had to go around to enter through the front entrance. However, this only applies for this weekend! Menu has a good variety of Matcha, Hojicha, and Coffee drinks! Pricing was slightly pricey so expect to pay $7-$8 and they all come in one size. However, it's a bonus that they don't charge for milk substitutions - oat & almond! Inside was very clean and spacious with a decent amount of tables and outlets so a relatively good study or work spot! Service was friendly and welcoming. The Strawberry Matcha ($7.25) was one of the best strawberry matchas I've ever had! The matcha was so rich in flavor and I love how they handwhisk every order. I could tell they use high quality ceremonial grade matcha! The strawberry puree is house made and not overly sweet. However, it does require a good stir prior to drinking otherwise the strawberry puree is just stuck on the bottom! Overall, I really enjoyed the drinks here and would definitely return and recommend! read more
New matcha place opened in Arcadia! I've seen so many videos on TikTok about how delicious their matcha is and I have to agree! They have parking out in the front and behind their store. The parking in the front is free street parking but very hard to find but around the corner is a large parking lot that's shared with multiple businesses and the Post Office. Their store is very white and minimalist with quite a few seats and tables to do work or just to enjoy their drinks. Ordering was relatively easy. Their menu is displayed behind the cashier with cute little Smiskis next to it. I opted for the Cold Brew Jasmine Milk Tea which doesn't allow milk substitutions. Their cold brew jasmine milk tea is brewed for 24 hours so that the aroma of the jasmine can be tasted through the matcha. Drink: Cold Brew Jasmine Matcha Milk Tea (8/10): I loved this drink! I didn't opt for any adjustments to sugar or ice for my first time and it was perfect! I thought that the jasmine was very aromatic and could be tasted through each sip when I mixed everything together. The total was $7.25 which, I guess, is the normal nowadays. I love that this place doesn't pre-batch their matcha and actually makes it in front of you. I didn't like the little jasmine flower they added at the end. It was pretty but the petals got separated and was a weird thing to find randomly with my sips. read more
right off the bat the place is clean, simple and has a lot of seats for you to sit. I also really like the fact that they kept the menu very minimal ontop of focusing on the quality of their products. We got matcha for both of our drinks. I'm a big fan of sesame and the fact that cashier was able to let me swap hojicha for regular matcha to go with the sesame already earned a point. my man got an London fog earl grey Matcha and I got sesame Matcha less sweet. #123 in my Teaholic Diaries. Maicha Matcha is a wonderful new addition to the SGV tea scene. They use premium ceremonial matcha sourced from Kyoto, Japan that is incredibly smooth, with very little bitterness. They offer a selection of handcrafted matcha drinks and even a few phin coffees. I've tried a few of their standout drinks so far, including the strawberry matcha, london fog matcha, and double matcha. With the strawberry matcha, I enjoyed the combination of the sweet puree with the earthy matcha. As for the London Fog matcha, I loved the fusion of the fragrant and floral notes of earl grey with the high-grade matcha. I enjoyed each matcha drink, as they were all tea-focused and not overly sweet. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. I ordered the marbled latte, and it was delicious. The marbled latte has the phin filtered coffee that is very strong! The space is clean and minimalistic, with plenty of seating and reliable Wi-Fi, making it a nice place to get some work done or catch up with a friend. There is a couch on the side for socializing. Parking is pretty easy too, with a lot in the back and additional street parking out front. The staff was incredibly friendly! I had a pleasant experience at Maicha Matcha (Arcadia). I ordered the Strawberry Matcha Latte ($7.25 - 15oz). It's a Matcha Latte with House Made Strawberry Purée. When vigorously mixed, it's a well-balanced, clean drink. I appreciated its good quality ingredients. I arrived at Maicha Matcha (Arcadia) on Thursday (around 8:44AM). Parking is VERY easy. There's A LOT of hidden parking in the rear; parking sign says, "4 Hour Parking - 8AM to 5PM Weekdays." This business is also located in Downtown Arcadia, so there's many options for free street parking also. Staff is very welcoming and professional. Staff (receipt says Tracy) gave good recommendations, and Tracy worked hard. I felt welcomed the entire time. My drink took a short few minutes. As mentioned, I enjoyed the Strawberry Matcha Latte ($7.25 - 15oz). It's clean, earthy, and refreshing. However, remember to stir. Prior to stirring, I tasted a glob of extremely sugary strawberry syrup. The drink only improved after a VERY thorough stir. After sipping, the drink flowed like chill, lightly sweetened silk. YUM. On ambiance, Maicha Matcha (Arcadia) is very charming. As instrumental, jazzy music fluttered about, I appreciated the cleanliness and modern charm. There's also plenty of utility! Customers can push a button on the wooden counter which makes an electrical plug and usb outlet appear!! In total, I counted about five electrical outlets. There's also customer internet with password; details are proudly displayed on the counter. Also, there's a self-service water station and a gender neutral restroom. I felt comfortable. Great neighborhood matcha shop that recently opened -- you can watch them prepare your drink at the bar! Ordered the marbled latte and matcha latte -- both were excellent. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. My visit was during their soft opening, and every table was taken -- will be sure to stop in again in a few months to confirm that they are really good! read more
Not it for me. At first it was good but as the minutes ticked it stopped being as good. Yes, i did mix it. I think if you finish it right away itll be good. This was the same for both drinks. My friend also said the same thing when she got her jasmine one. Not sure if it was just an off day or not. I did hear someone ordering extra sweet for their matcha. If i come back id have to try it extra sweet instead of normal. Also, if you get less ice you do get less drink so dont be surprised. read more
Came here on a Friday with a friend around 11AM. Given that it's summer, it makes sense that places are a bit more packed, even on weekdays. We placed our order pretty quickly and waited about 5 minutes before we were able to grab a table. I opted to try the matcha cortado (less milk than a standard latte) with oat to get a better sense of how their matcha tasted. They don't charge for alternative milks which I really appreciate! Also, their cortado is $7 which is on the more reasonable end for matcha drinks nowadays. Taste-wise, I found the matcha to be a bit watered down, making it more earthy/grassy. My friend mentioned that last time she came it was better, so it might just depend on who is making the drinks that day. I'd be open to coming back as it's a quiet, chill ambiance to get work done or catch up with a friend. I'd likely just opt to try their hojicha latte or something else on the menu. read more

I came here for their soft opening and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious their drinks were! I've been here a few times since then, and have always enjoyed and savored each drink. My personal favorites include the matcha latte and hojicha latte. Definitely one of my favorite matcha / hojicha spots here in the SGV. There's street parking in the front and a huge parking lot in the back! You can enter through both the front and back of the store. My only critic is that the cups are a bit thin - Sometimes the lid isn't properly sealed and may spill! read more

One of my new favorite matcha spots! I've been here quite a few times, usually as I head into work. When I stopped by over the weekend, it was packed! I've tried a variety of their drinks, from their matchas to their coffee. My favorite and go-to would have to be the Strawberry Matcha Latte. The flavors blend in really well. Most drinks you can adjust to half sweet which I find is perfect. They make everything to order as well. A little high on price, but worth the quality and flavor. Easy to find parking as well. It's a quaint shop to work or hang out, if you're looking for that vibe. read more

London Fog Matcha: 1000000/5 The London Fog Matcha completely exceeded my expectations and instantly became my favorite drink on the menu! The rich, earthy notes of the matcha paired beautifully with the fragrant house-made Earl Grey syrup, creating a delicious and comforting drink. The bergamot notes from the syrup also added a delicate citrusy aroma that complemented the matcha perfectly without overpowering its natural depth. Topped with a silky, velvety earl grey cream top, every sip felt incredibly indulgent. If you're visiting Maicha Matcha for the first time, this is the drink I would 100% recommend without hesitation. Hojicano: 5/5 The Hojicano was another standout drink that completely impressed me! The hojicha featured a rich, nutty aroma complemented by subtle notes of caramel and toasted grains, creating a cozy and soothing flavor profile. If you're not a fan of matcha's grassy or slightly astringent notes, hojicha is the perfect alternative, and Maicha executes this drink beautifully! There's street parking or lot parking behind the block. There's a decent amount of seating. It's very clean and chill inside. It's a good place to come and study. The staff are friendly and helpful. The drinks arrived at a good time. They recommend stirring the drinks to get the best flavor. I got the cold brew jasmine matcha milk tea. It was really pretty and tasty. You definitely get the jasmine flavor, although the flavor diminished over time. Maybe I didn't stir enough? Unfortunately, the drink is quite small and full of lots of ice. I'd like to drink more of it. read more

Interior: Very spacious and minimalist, clean and not crowded. There are around 9 tables and the provide wifi. I saw one person working on a laptop and another couple reading, so it seems welcoming to staying a while after ordering. Drinks: They have the standard matcha latte and viet coffee options, but also have some creative signature drinks including a coconut cream matcha and a London fog matcha. They are topped generously with garnishes and look very aesthetic. Of the three drinks we got, the London fog was all of our favorite, so I highly recommend trying that one. The coconut matcha was also very good. Overall I recommend Maicha Matcha :) especially coming from SF, it feels competitively priced given the creativity of the drinks. read more
I ordered the matcha latte, and the cashier let me know it isn't very sweet. I asked if they could make it sweeter, and she added extra sweetener for me. She also said that if it still wasn't sweet enough after tasting it, they could adjust it again. I really appreciate that kind of accommodation. The matcha here is $7, and there are plenty of seats, including long tables for people who want to socialize or study. The place is super aesthetic, and the AC is nice and cold--perfect for escaping the summer heat. I parked on the main street in the parallel parking spots. I'm not sure if there's parking in the back. read more
Maicha Matcha is a new cafe in Arcadia. I visited the shop during the soft opening. What a gem! The place has a welcoming and cozy aesthetic vibes. It's a great place to hangout or to do some work.They have indoor seating. The staff were friendly. They told me that their grand opening will be in June. They will have pastries by this time. I ordered the following ; - strawberry matcha latte with regular milk 5/5 - Strawberry Matcha with oat milk 5/5 Their matcha has an authentic taste balanced with the sweetness strawberries. They don't charge for milk alternatives. - Marble Latte 5/5 Phin Vietnamese filtered coffee mixed with both milk and condensed milk. It's a strong coffee for coffee lovers. There is a plenty of parking in a free parking lot in the back. I enjoyed the drinks, the service and the vibes. I will for sure be back and I cannot wait for the grand opening. read more
