One Tea is a great tea spot in Temple City. Shout out to Hannah S. because I bookmarked One Tea when I first read her review. Highly recommended for those who appreciate high quality loose leaf teas. They have street parking in front of the store or a public parking lot behind the store. They have 2 entrances. The front is where you order your drinks and the back has a lot of seating and I even notice how the seats along the wall has many outlets for those who need to study or work here with their laptops. I enjoy it so much I have already been here multiple times. Both times I was helped by Xiya, who was super sweet and helpful. Per her recommendation I ordered their One Tea Signature Blend Milk Tea ($5.95) with less ice, 70% sweetness and the crème brulee foam. I also got their Custard Walnut Cakes ($5.99). The drinks are prepared quite quickly, and the walnut cakes take a little longer cause they are made to order. I can taste the quality of the tea in my drink and that crème brulee topping is true luxury in a cup. The custard walnut cakes were savory with the walnut and lightly sweet with the custard. This is such a great tea snack, or I can see them going well with coffee. Yum!! I highly recommend this to all the tea lovers out there. I will definitely be back again to try more of their menu.

I arrived on a Saturday around 3 pm and there wasn't a long line but a line quickly formed after I ordered. they have a bogo promotion which is a great deal for the kiwi crystal boba and lychee jelly passionfruit tea. I ordered 2 passionfruit teas and a mango pomelo sago. The mango pomelo sago was excellent and the passionfruit tea was also good. Customer service was great. The cashier had a jade bracelet and she was very very helpful and kind. There is ample seating in the back. Overall, very solid boba place!! Loved their mango pomelo sago which had lots of mango and tea jelly tasty!

Aesthetic tea shop in temple city with some interesting sculpture inside. Nice staff and waited for us to pick from the many drinks. They have tea leaves on display showing the different profiles and taste. Got the biscoff matcha and the drink looked and tasted great. Decent matcha flavor and love the biscoff cream. The matcha cream top was solid as well! Parking lot does get busy during the day here but not bad at night. Pretty big area inside with seating.

I had one sip of Fruity A-F And I gave them 5 stars. Because I'm thirsty! New store has a very Space Odyssey Vibe. Floor was done really well, like an epoxied piece of art, with a lacquered coating. Rice paper wall reminds me of Grand Seiko's watch packaging, a nod to artisanal, simplicity, and elegance. Lighting struck a well balance off every surface with dim warm white lights. Masterfully designed space. Staff service was excellent, they speak both English and Mandarin. Guess you don't have to run down to Molly Tea or Chi Cha for the long lines anymore. Ordered a House Signature Blend Milk Tea 1/2 sugar and No ice for our friend.

The last two times i've come here, the strawberry yogurt wasn't very good :( it used to be my favorite. The last time I came here, the smoothie didn't have much flavor. This time, the syrup flavor is intense and tastes awful. I asked for a remake, and the lady making the drinks was insanely rude...idk what happened to this place.

BOGO Pink Guava Lychee and Crystal Passionfruit

Social media kept on spamming me with their account and telling me there's BOGO. Guess it knew I can't pass up a good BOGO, haha. Showed up after lunch on a Friday afternoon. There was just one other customer ahead of us. We placed the BOGO order, which was Pink Guava Lychee and Crystal Passionfruit. We were able to mix and match and adjust our ice and sweetness. Both drinks were really refreshing - you can taste the fruit and the tea. The Lychee Jelly's sweetness that came with the Pink Guava drink paired well. The Crystal Passionfruit came with Agar Boba. The passionfruit had real passionfruit in it. It was just the right amount of tartness. There was only a small table in the front so this is definitely not one of those you come in here with your friends and sit around and chat type of places. Staff was SUPER FRIENDLY! That was one thing that really stuck out. Not sure if there's parking in the back. But I was able to find street parking easily.

Finally got to try out One Tea after seeing my friends go to their many weekly BOGO Free drinks. We were in the area for dinner and happened to be in walking distance, so we decided to grab some drinks afterwards. It looks like a small cafe from the front, but it's a very "long" location, so walk past the cashier and restroom after you get your drinks (they do have a number system too if you're in the other room) but there's a good amount of seating and some space and modern themed photo ops. It is a bit warm and stuffy back there, but no biggie. Our drinks came out pretty quickly and we also got an order of their custard walnut cakes. I've had these Korean walnut cakes before but never with custard inside. Nice and moist and not dry at all like the ones that I've had in the past. Real walnut pieces in it too. Very shareable and not too sweet either. Good stuff! I got their BOGO for the week which was the Jade matcha cloud and their jade matcha milk tea. I got less ice for both of them and only around a quarter sweetness. Nice matcha taste and had a good balance of sweetness of tea flavor. Strong jasmine tea taste for the jade matcha cloud (tasted great the next day too and without the matcha oxidation flavor either). Good stuff. Service was efficient, welcoming, and friendly. Def will come back again to try more of their drinks and the corn dogs.

I finally drove out here to take advantage of their weekly BOGO deals. Cute clean place. I was lucky to find parking on the streets. The server was friendly and helpful. Be sure to go towards the back! There are plenty of seating. The first time we drove by and only saw the bench through the window, we drove away. My drinks were really good. The sugar adjustment was perfect (50% sweet). I also got them less ice. I like the strong Jasmine Tea taste. I'm so glad I gave this place another chance and see that I can come back with friends to hang out.

One Tea replaced where Boba Express used to be, but it maintained the structure of it. I like that it has plenty of seating, though it is a little dark in the back. Service is quick and friendly though! I got the BOGO deal with the Pink Guava Lychee and Crystal Passionfruit, both at 70% sugar, and they were still very sweet. For BOGO, though, the price is so worth it -- I think each drink came out to around $4. You don't taste the Jasmine tea as much in each drink, but if you like strong fruit flavors, this is a good place to check out!

The BOGO deal was what brought me here. I love coconut juice so when I saw the BOGO deal on their matcha coconut drinks, I decided to give the place a try. To be honest, the matcha was alright but the coconut was pretty bad. It didn't taste like real coconut juice. In fact, it tasted pretty artificial. I bought some for my aunts to try. They didn't think it was good. I mentioned this place when I noticed BOGO deals again, they didn't want to go. The drinks really left a bad impression. With the prices going up on everything, I am happy to see boba places doing BOGO. I didn't really try any other drinks so I would like to give it another chance. Hopefully, the next experience will be better.

One Tea is located on Las Tunas Drive with both curb parking and a parking lot in the back. One Tea is a few doors down from PopRock Academy. Parking in the back may be a possible challenge if you come during busy times since the lot is shared with other business. My husband and I decided to check out this tea house this past Sunday afternoon, around 4:15 pm. We entered from the back since we parked in the back lot. When you enter from the back, you see this almost space age type of themed seating area. The lights and detail is pretty cool actually. But anyways, once in the front (be sure to watch your step because there are 2 steps from the seating area to the main entrance and you might trip) we were greeted by an employee behind the register. We decided to try the buy one get one free tea drink special. Based on One Tea's instagram account, it seems that they offer weekly buy one get one free tea drinks. We ordered: The Fortunella, $6.05 prior to tax- This is a kumquat fruit tea. My husband and I ended up ordering both of these drinks to be made with no ice and 30% sweetener. I am actually not a big fan of kumquat and always thought they were on the sour side (that was how they were growing in my backyard when I was a kid). But this kumquat fruit tea was really good and I really liked the sweetness level for it as well. The tea drink was very refreshing and would love to have another one. But I believe this tea drink was also a limited drink because of the Lunar New Year. --------------------------------------- (Total= $6.65 after tax + buy one get one free drink special) Wait time was not too long. The employee who took care of our transaction was friendly. If you need to use the restroom, please note that you have to ask for a key (my husband used the restroom during our visit and had told me it was clean). If One Tea keeps on having their buy one, get one free drink specials, I definitely could see myself being a regular.

    Matcha madness and double matcha

Checked out One Tea today in Temple City to try their matcha drinks. They have a mix of milk tea, tea, smoothies, coffee and matcha on their menu. I decided to try their matcha madness smoothie today as I wanted to see if it is comparable to my favorite Omomo matcha. The matcha madness was a matcha smoothie whereas Omomo has more of the brûlée inside. Overall I liked my drink as it had a strong matcha flavor. If you are looking for a caffeine boost you should go with this drink. I am pretty wired now which is good because other places that serve matcha doesn't really give me this feeling. I ordered my drink 50% sweet and the sugar was pretty minimal as I was able to taste the bitterness from the matcha. If you want something sweeter I think full sugar would be okay. My friend ordered the double matcha with 100% sugar and it was still pretty light in sweetness. The cashier told us that the matcha they use in store is ceremonial matcha compared to other places that use lower grade matcha. They have a Chinese New Year deal right now on their fortunella tea which is a kumquat fruit tea for bogo which will end on 3/1. Also if you buy 2 drinks you will get a red envelope with a prize inside. I got $1 off on my next visit. As you walk into the store you will see the menu and counter. You can order and walk to the back of the store which has a couple tables. There are a couple of photo ops in the back with a mirror and an asteroid. The back entrance will lead you to the parking lot as well. There were a couple spots in the front as well. Teas were starting at $5.25 and fancier drinks topping off at $8.

There is a parking lot in the back. You can enter from front or back. Staff is super friendly. Lots of seating in the back. I feel like this cafe is perfect for studying. The ambiance is super aesthetic, with places to get photos and a animated starry sky ceiling. The lighting is dimmed down, calm and vibey rnb playing in the background. Super chill vibes! They have an extensive menu with pure tea, milk tea, fruit tea and matcha/coffee. I tried the peachy rose at 70% and it was perfect. You can taste both the peachy rose and rose and its not artificial tasting. Definitely coming back to try more of their drinks!

Our go-to are the mango mango slush or strawberry slush half sweet no chamoy, royal milk tea with boba, and Peach green tea half sweet. Drinks are ALWAYS consistant and yummy. Even more, the boba is consistantly divine-- fresh, chewy, and sweet. Drinks come out quick even when it's busy. I'm always amazed how many drinks they can pump out quickly. The staff here are boba masters. Prices here are competitive/standard. Expect about $5/drink. They also have a stampcard program! Buy 8 and get 1 free. We frequent Hello Boba because it's nearby and good. Even if there's more unique places like half and half, 3 cats, and twinkle brown sugar. I prefer Hello Boba. They're just really good, consistant, and quick. Always hits the spot. Staff are generally friendly and greet you with a smile. There's this one swole asian dude who's that has a rbf. I don't think it's personal though, he's probably always sore from hitting the gym. I almost never get a smile from him-- it's just business. He shows his love in a through his consistant drinks. Which I can appreciate. I usually take my drinks to go. But there was one time me and my son hung out and played board games. They have a nice variety. But just like all other boba places, the games are usually really beat up from all the useage from previous customers. Very casual. The only downside is that this place is dangerous to my waistline. Overall good for everyone of all ages and different ethnic backgrounds. Special Shoutout to Tuan. When my wife or son wants boba, sometimes I forget what our go-to order is. Tuan knows our order. It's people like Tuan that make places like Hello Boba special.
