Came here on a whim! Food: The prices are amazing! $1 for egg tarts is unbeatable in LA! It tasted so flaky and great too! It wasn't too sweet. I wish I tried more of their desserts! Drinks: Ordered the vanilla latte. It was only $5. The drink itself is pretty standard and gets the job done! I wanted to order the tea too but they ran out that day. Service: Workers are nice! Parking: FREE PARKING ON STREET! I love that. Overall: There is so much seating, mostly outdoors. It feels nice with the breeze blowing softly around. There's also outdoor charging ports! Love that. Everything about this place is a gem. I would definitely come back! :)

4.5 stars. Pretty good. Their desserts (pastries/cakes) are good and drinks are not bad. Overall, fairly pleased with what this place has to offer. Parking. They do have their own parking lot in the back, but parking in front or street parking is available too. A few tables inside. Large patio with multiple tables. Service was fine/good. DESSERTS: Cocoa Matcha Swiss Roll 4.5/5 $3.55. We both think it's good. Would reorder. Matcha Mille Crepe Cake 4.5/5 $5.65. Fairly decent. Honestly, there's no need to spend the $$$$ at Lady M. This is fine/good enough. Great for the value compared to Lady M. Egg Tart 4.5/5 Like it, especially for $1 a piece. Not sure if they inherent the recipe from Patisserie Too (previous business), but taste good with flakey crust. Good value. Oreo Mousse Cake 4/5 $4.85. Bf said it was good and thought it tasted what he expected, which is something like a Oreo Cheesecake. DRINKS: Einspanner Matcha 4.25/5 $6.50. 100% sweetness. I was afraid it'd be too sweet. The cashier didn't ask me how sweet I wanted. Found out drink was made with 100% sweetness when I picked up the drink. Turns out, it wasn't very sweet. Thank goodness. It was just right for me. Not bad. Would order again. Spanish Latte (hot) 4/5 $6. 100% sweetness. Alright. Drinkable. It's fine, but didn't stand out from all the other Spanish Lattes I've tried. I am glad that it wasn't overly sweet.

Checked out Mūmoo Cafe in San Gabriel, taking over the old Patisserie Too location. The space feels modern and cozy, and their menu has a huge selection of drinks and desserts at very reasonable prices. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee and really enjoyed it. It was bold, sweet, and had a strong coffee flavor without tasting watered down. For desserts, the cakes reminded me of a mix between Patisserie Too and Grace and Wheat, which makes sense since they're all around the same area. The flavors were solid across the board and not overly heavy. The highlight for me was actually the mango sago dessert. It wasn't too sweet and reminded me of the mango pudding with evaporated milk you get at dim sum restaurants. Super refreshing and a nice balance after the coffee. Definitely a nice cafe spot if you're in the SGV area and want drinks plus desserts without spending too much.

I got their Lychee Sparkling Soda and my bf got their Hazelnut Latte. We also got their $1 egg tarts which was the perfect amount of sweetness and flakiness of the crust. They have a lot of other pastries as well as cute bears and crepe cake slices. Located right across the street for SG Mission Playhouse and Blossom Market Hall but they have a parking lot right behind their store too. Very spacious and has plenty of tables with plug outlets for a great study spot too. The service was amazing and very accommodating to ensure we enjoyed our drinks!

Mūmoo Cafe is a new dessert cafe that took over Patisserie Too and they offer $1 Portuguese egg tarts, a variety of cakes and pastries, and coffee and matcha drinks. I especially love how study-friendly the environment is with plenty of outdoor seating, and several tables indoors. Workers were really friendly and helped with giving recommendations. My friend and I tried their strawberry matcha and Spanish latte along with their egg tarts. The strawberry matcha was solid with a good balance of matcha flavor and strawberry bits. I wasn't a big fan of the Spanish latte since the espresso was on the more acidic side. The egg tarts were freshly baked and so delicious! I loved the flakiness of the crust and the decadent custard filling. I also got to try their coco matcha and chocolate swiss rolls, and I loved the coco matcha roll for the matcha cream.

Saw this on IG and knew I had to try it. Bought the $1 Portuguese egg tart, cheese tart, chocolate and cocoa matcha Swiss roll, mango sago dessert, plus a Vietnamese coffee. The coffee was a little too sweet for my taste, but the rest of the desserts and pastries were absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, especially the egg tart, Swiss rolls, and mango sago. Both of my sons loved all of them and already told me we need to come back again next time. Definitely a great spot for affordable and tasty desserts.

Cute little spot, grabbed a cup of coffee and the chocolate mousse cake. The cake was top tier, so light and airy, not too sweet but still decadent. I go to a lot of coffee shops and this has to be some of the best customers service I've experienced in a while. Lots of smiles, and they seemed genuinely pleased that we were there.

Love this new cafe that opened in front of Blossom Market! They have a ton of specialty drinks and desserts as well as a bunch of seating. The owners are so kind and took the time to explain everything in detail! My favorites were the sparkling sodas, bears and mango sago! Go check it out!

this spot took over patisserie too i tried their coffee and egg tarts and they were pretty good :) their egg tarts are a must mention as they were freshly baked, only $1, and tasted amazing! i love the cripsyness and it was perfectly not too sweet. can't wait to try out their desserts next time! they also have cheese tart and croissants as well. they are still in their soft opening 10-6 so i can't say much about ambiance and so forth. parking is on the streets and they also have a small parking in the back

Food is so good, i like this place because so peace, clean and nice staff. Service and bake is good.

Came here for the first time, we got egg tarts, matcha einspanner and hot americano. The egg tarts were good, but unfortunately the drinks weren't to my expectations. It's not pictured, but the matcha einspanner was really clumpy at the bottom. I like to sip my matcha einspanner with a straw, to occasionally mix my drink. But when I took my first sips, they had big clumps of matcha. Usually matcha clumps don't bother me, but there was a lot and it was bigger clumps. I saw that they batch made the matcha in advance so I'm not sure why the matcha was clumpy, esp bc the made it beforehand :(. I definitely didn't come here expecting them to hand whisk their matcha to every order but the clumps definitely impacted the taste. The hot americano wasn't hot either, I saw that they were finished with the hot americano first so they put out the hot americano on the counter while they were making the matcha einspanner. So it was out on the counter for a while before our entire order was ready. The staff were friendly and they were busy. You could tell it was hectic on their end, they were running around trying to serve everyone. I'm not sure if it's bc they recently opened, but you could definitely tell they were working things out. They didn't give out numbers or a receipt to me when I was at the cashier, but they were calling out numbers for the drinks which was a bit confusing.

Gave it a second chance since Uncle Fung was packed. I'm glad we came back. The service was good and whole experience was not bad. DRINKS: Iced Hojicha Latte, add agave & Sea Salt Foam 4.5/5 $9.25. Liked it, but slightly too sweet. It was okay after I added more ice later. Ended up combining leftover Hojicha & coffee together. Tastes pretty good. This drink got pretty expensive. Didn't realize the Sea Salt Foam was $1.25 extra. Thought it was free (came with the drink) when the cashier asked which sweetener & cold foam I would like. Hot Latte, Add Vanilla Syrup 4.25/5 $6.50. Solid/safe choice. Hot Black Sesame 4/5 $6.50. Not bad, but I may be like Da Vien and/or Lotus & Bean's Hot Black Sesame drink a tad bit more. PASTRIES/BAKED GOODS: $4.50. Chocolate Chip Cookie

The matcha itself was pretty weak and a bit flat, missing that rich, earthy depth you'd hope for, so overall it just fell a little meh. The sesame cream added a nice richness, but didn't bring much of that distinct nutty sesame flavor and mostly just tasted creamy. That said, the space is beautiful. It's clean and minimalist with lots of natural wood, high ceilings, and an open, airy layout. There's plenty of seating, making it a great spot to work, study, or just hang out. I'd still be open to coming back and giving it another try, maybe the double matcha will hit better next time.

It's nestled in a little plaza with minimal parking. Luckily, we went on a weekday and there were at least 2 parking spots open. The shop itself is small-- as soon as you enter, the register is right there with the self service kiosk to the left and the waiting area to the right. Even though there was only 1 party ahead of us, it took around 15-20 minutes to get our drinks. But I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since we ordered a lot of drinks. For myself, I was able to try the traditional roasted oolong milk tea with pearl and the hojicha latte-- both at 70% sweet. I have a sweet tooth, so the sweetness was at a perfect level for both. However, I didn't get that much of a strong roasted oolong taste in the milk tea as I've gotten from other boba shops. The hojicha latte was good enough, but also did not have that strong, nutty taste in comparison to others. I am more of a milk tea person, but maybe next time I'll try the honey osthamnthus tea since a lot of people seem to love it!

The SGV has always been the mecca of boba shops, and I would recommend this place. The service was excellent and fast, I forget to get the barista's name, but he honestly deserves a raise for working by himself on a Saturday afternoon, he did so well. It was the fastest I have ever got a drink, he was so on top of things. I hope the owners are reading this and really consider rewarding top employees like him. I got the viral Pear and Matcha drink, which was surprisingly really good. I wasn't sure at first about how it was going to taste, but that secret pear syrup did the trick lolol. The drink itself is $5.99, plus $2.00 for the oat milk, so it came to over $9+. They honestly should consider lowering the oat milk to $1.00 cuz $2.00 is higher than other places, so then you're basically paying $10+ for boba.
