Hidden gem for sure! Don't let the hard to find parking fool you! First of all, the flavors are so unique and bold! Secondly, the price is hard to beat! Must try if you are in the area!
I have been here twice now. The first time was when it kinda just opened. I was curious about their persimmon drinks since very few places offer persimmon flavors. I believe I had some kinds of persimmon drink with milk. The drinks were decent, but it wasn't for me. Recently, I decided to drop by again. I wanted to try the persimmon tea. It was hot so the drinks were refreshing. It was nice to look at. The taste was not what I expected. There was really no persimmon taste in any way. It was more citrus like. Tasted like orange..it wasn't bad. For the price, it was a good size drink. I might return to try other drinks. Just not anytime soon.
Found this relatively new coffee shop in San Gabriel... But this is not your typical coffee shop. All the way from Canada , TOGO COFFEE has made its way to the San Gabriel Valley. Looking at their menu, they have so much more than just coffee. And to my surprise... one of these goodies is the cutest tote bag! Of course, they also have teas, non-caffeinated drinks, pastries, and so much more. My favorite has to be the Bayberry Iced Tea. It's refreshing, fruity, and the perfect drink for summer! the BEST banana lattes I've ever had!!! It was creamy, flavorful, and the banana flavor is perfect without being too much. Their persimmon coconut latte tasted like the milk at the bottom of a bowl of Frosted Flakes!! and the cookies and fresh peach tea were GAS too! Everything I tried had me ready to come back and run through the rest of the menu. The service was speedy and friendly. and it is a cute little spot that you really go in and order to-go lol

You have the option of ordering at the register or at the 2 kisok they have. I got the pear matcha and it was so good! I love the little bits of pear that the drink comes with.

I had a great experience at ToGo Coffee, which is originally from Canada, this is the first U.S. location right next to the Hawaii Supermarket in San Gabriel, CA. The SGV has always been the mecca of boba shops, and I would recommend this place. The service was excellent and fast, I forget to get the barista's name, but he honestly deserves a raise for working by himself on a Saturday afternoon, he did so well. It was the fastest I have ever got a drink, he was so on top of things. I hope the owners are reading this and really consider rewarding top employees like him. I got the viral Pear and Matcha drink, which was surprisingly really good. I wasn't sure at first about how it was going to taste, but that secret pear syrup did the trick lolol. The drink itself is $5.99, plus $2.00 for the oat milk, so it came to over $9+. They honestly should consider lowering the oat milk to $1.00 cuz $2.00 is higher than other places, so then you're basically paying $10+ for boba. We're officially entering the era of inflation because I still remember when boba was like a few bucks LOLOL. Anyways, good boba, just a bit overpriced.
If you're in LA or the SGV and you haven't tried this coffee shop, you're definitely missing out. I did try a few of their drinks but one in particular stood out. Starting with the bayberry jasmine, this is perfect for if you do not have a sweet tooth, and the bayberry adds a refreshing tart taste. And this was the first place I've seen do a pear matcha combo, and after trying it, it really works. Definitely recommend if you haven't tried it before. But my favorite has to be the Kyoho grape lemon tea. It's made with those big juicy Asian grapes, and it's SO delicious. This drink is genuinely a 10/10. Thanks for reading! ^-^
Newish small coffee spot in 626 with a great selection of creative flavors. I liked the creamy tiramisu latte that wasn't too sweet. their signature latte is very creamy and isn't too strong. Very generous potions!
I was in the area and really needed a coffee. Street parking was a challenge here. I parked at the Hawaii supermarket plaza and walked over. I walked in the store and it wasn't too busy at 11 am. There was only one other customer that beat me to ordering. I saw there was a kiosk so I decided to place my order there. There were photos on there for easy reference. It does accept American Express as a payment option. There was only one person working the drinks, handling the in person order, kiosk, and online. This took about 8 minutes to get the drink. For my order, I got the banana latte with regular milk and sugar. I got the drink iced and at 20oz. This drink was listed in their top 10, so I had high hopes. Unfortunately, it didn't meet the expectations. I disliked it because it had an artificial banana taste. At least it had espresso in it, so I was able to get my caffeine fix.
With tea on my mind I opted for Togo Coffee via a delivery service. Tried their Bayberry grape with jasmine tea. Not too tangy and not too sweet. Perfectly balanced and very tasty.More than satisfied my craving.
Cute cups and really unique drink flavors like pear matcha and persimmon drinks! I loved the concept and the creative menu. We ordered the pear matcha and the osmanthus jasmine tea. Both were interesting flavor combinations, but the drinks themselves were just okay for me. They had quite a lot of milk, which gave them a bit of a store-bought banana milk vibe -- just in pear and jasmine tea form. They didn't have decaf coffee available, so didn't try coffee based drinks later in the day. Personally, I prefer drinks where the tea flavor is stronger rather than milk-heavy. If you're someone who enjoys banana-milk style drinks and want to try cool, creative flavor combinations, this would probably be right up your alley. There was parking in the street and in the market parking lot.
I have Togo bookmarked for a while. I ordered some drinks via Uber Eat. Togo Coffee originates from Canada. Their menu includes various selection of tea collections, americano, Persimmon, lattes, gardenia jasminoides, milk tea and more. The menu looks really unique. It was one of these extremely hot days, so I ordered a couple of drinks to try them and to quinch our thirst. I ordered: -Pistachio Latte - Persimmon Latte - Banana Latte - Gardenia Latte - Pear Matcha - 2 Peach Grape Gardenia Tea They charge for milk substitute. All the It was my first time to try Pear Matcha and Persimmon matcha! My goodness! They were exceptional! The rest of the drinks were excellent, perfect sweetness, refreshing, rich in flavor and delicious. Definitely, I will come back and order more of their refreshing drinks. read more
Self-order kiosks offered here. Two barstool seating spots inside for relaxing and enjoying one's drink. As its name states, this is primarily a grab n' go coffee and tea shop. I ordered one of their most popular drinks the Iced Banana Latte. On first sip, it was smooth and I could taste the mild espresso with the undercurrent of silky banana syrup. It was very refreshing and a solid balance of artificial banana and coffee, but once I was about 25% down to the end of the cup, this iced latte started tasting like coffee banana milk, so I tossed the rest lol. All in all this is a solid drink to try here as a first timer. I think next time if I ever ordered it again, I would ask for half ice instead of the default amount. Additionally, my friend ordered Persimmon Milk and she liked it. It seems all the iced drinks come in large or extra large size. For the price point, $5.99 is such a deal. Customer service was average, our drinks were made very promptly after we placed them on the self-order kiosks. Though, we weren't greeted when we walked in because the employee working the front was talking to her friend or another employee. A minor thing in overview of the experience; they were appreciative of our business and said bye, thank you to us when we were leaving after finishing our drinks. Parking - park at 99 Ranch Market just a little ways down the street from Hawaii Supermarket (or can also park here since it's closer but the parking lot gets filled up quicker and is much more condensed than the 99 Ranch parking lot). Pro tip: you can add up to 2 free shots in a coffee drink, which is very cool! read more

About a month ago, a reel highlighting Togo coffee popped up on my Instagram feed so I finally drove out to SGV to try it out. The shop is really cute but in a plaza with a busy marketplace. Luckily, someone was leaving right as I pulled in so I was able to park right away. The barista was a one-man show. He manned the register, brewed a fresh batch of tea, made my two random drinks just by himself, and gave me cafe stickers. Very sweet guy! He was so patient as my indecisive self debated on what drink to try alongside the pear matcha. I was most excited to try the pear matcha, but also wanted to get the persimmon jasmine tea since it's not really a flavor most cafes/boba shops offer. Both drinks were so yum. The matcha itself wasn't too sweet, but the little slices of pear added a nice natural sweetness to the drink as a whole. I saved the persimmon jasmine tea for the next day and it was so refreshing! Perfect for a warm day at the park. If you are in the area, please try out Togo coffee! read more
I'm always on the hunt for other coffee spots, especially ones that are open before 11am or noon. I got their Togo signature latte which is one of their top popular drinks. It was good. The espresso flavor came through. The staff were quick to make my order. And although it's a bit small there are a few seats on there. But it's mostly just an order and go type of place. I'll definitely be back to try other drinks since it seems like a lot of their coffee mixes coffee with tea flavor which seems to be a new coffee trend from these cafes that are coming from Asia. read more

Saw this place on IG and the pear matcha latte sounded intriguing. The matcha is very light and it's not very matcha-y or pear-y. Just tastes like watery milk. There's diced pears in the drink and the cup is very large. The pear grape jasmine tea was not bad. It tasted refreshing with the pear and grape bits. read more
Togo coffee definitely has a giant selection - there's something for everyone. What caught my eye was the pear matcha which you rarely hear of the combination. The drink was unique and delicious however could've used more matcha as the drink was more milky and diluted. Service was great and staff were super friendly. There's also very interesting decor like a giant coffee bean. read more
Second time in today and I will be adding this place to my list of repeats! Last time was the guava creamy top because I didnt want coffee so late in the afternoon. It was so good it barely made it home! Today it was the persimmon latte which I've been curious about. It's got a good persimmon sweetness to balance the coffee. I'll be back to try the banana latte next. There's only a few seats by the window, but mostly a spot to grab and go. Parking is limited to street but I've been lucky both times. I finally got the chance to check out TOGO Coffee and it was such a cute little spot! The shop itself is small but super charming. Just a heads up parking is a little tricky since there's minimal street parking, so it's best to park in the market lot on the corner. Ordering was easy since everything is done on the self-order screens, and the process is super straightforward. My cousin and I tried three drinks. We got the Pear Matcha (their popular one), the Tiramisu Latte, and the Bayberry Lemon Tea and honestly all of them hit. The Pear Matcha did not disappoint. It was creamy, smooth, and had little pear bites that made it even better. My only tiny note is I wish it came with more ice (my preference). The Tiramisu Latte was also really good but it is slightly strong, but balanced out perfectly with the creamy foam on top. And the Bayberry Lemon Tea was super refreshing. I ordered it 50% sweet, but next time I'd probably go 75% since it wasn't too sweet at all. I was just scared it would be overly sugary. Overall, they have a lot of unique flavors you don't see everywhere, and it was definitely worth trying! read more

The drinks here are very unique and they offer very interesting combination of flavors. I'm pretty experimental with my drinks so I tried the pear matcha latte and my husband got the orange americano. The pear matcha latte was ok- the pear syrup was a bit too sweet and I wasn't too big of a fan of their matcha, it tasted too grassy for me. The orange americano was not good at all. It tasted like super sweet orange juice mixed with coffee. Could not finish the drink. This is a grab and go place and there's no seats to sit. read more
Togo Coffee is a Canadian-based Chinese-inspired coffee shop chain with its first location in California in 626. This spot is located by the Hawaii Supermarket where there is a decent amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a smaller setup with no seating making it more of a grab and go spot. For their menu, they have an extensive selection of different latte, matcha, and tea drink to choose from. Wifey and I stopped by for our weekend matcha run and got the Pear Matcha. We really enjoyed the flavors of the drink and would definitely get it again. The staff here are friendly and welcoming. read more

My new favorite coffee place! The Pear Jasmine latte is perfectly sweet and refreshing. Upon first sip, it's so smooth and creamy (chose to get both signature and pear Jasmine latte with oat milk). I had a good experience at Togo Coffee (San Gabriel). The Banana Latte ($5.99 - Large - 20oz - Half Ice) is functional and sweet. It tastes like banana candy, and it woke me up. (Important Note: Unfortunately, this small business uses a gimmick, requesting 5 Star reviews. Patrons that award 5 stars receive a free sticker or scented card. I despise these gimmicks. This business needs more confidence in the quality of their coffee.) I arrived at Togo Coffee (San Gabriel) on Wednesday (around 11:20AM). Parking is challenging but simple. This business shares the Hawaii Supermarket's Parking Lot; the lot is very big, but the lot is very busy with car traffic. Togo Coffee (San Gabriel) is also difficult to locate for first time visitors. I wandered for eight minutes searching for this place. Later, I discovered that it faces Valley Blvd's road. Togo Coffee (San Gabriel) is reachable via the sidewalk. There are two self-service machines inside Togo Coffee (San Gabriel). Staff was hidden in the back, so I used the machines. The process moved smoothly; however, I disliked how the machines needed my cell phone number to continue. My interaction with staff was minimal. Staff primarily returns to the back when an order is complete. Staff spoke very little; however, staff is cordial & professional. My drink took one minute and 22 seconds. Very fast!! Surprisingly, I enjoyed the Banana Latte ($5.99 - Large - 20oz - Half Ice). This coffee is dessert-like. Its first sip reminded me of sugary Banana Candy. However, when thoroughly mixed, its quality coffee flows through. The coffee is gentle yet robust. I felt my eyes widen from its caffeine. "Yum!" Unfortunately, Togo Coffee (San Gabriel) has poor ambiance. There's zero music, so it's eerily silent. The plants are covered in dust, and some leaves have small cobwebs. There's no restroom for customers. Also, the location is primarily for To-Go since it's tiny. There's a bench with three round cushions, and there's a small counter with two wobbly chairs. Fortunately, the floors are well-swept, and its tables felt clean. However, its off-putting how there's small cobwebs in the corners of its windows. Regarding decorations, the cartoon illustrations are cute. I also enjoyed the comically big coffee bean. Overall, I had a good experience at Togo Coffee (San Gabriel). I happily enjoyed my Banana Latte ($5.99 - Large - 20oz - Half Ice). It's a relatively clean, hidden spot that serves tasty drinks. If nearby, I recommend. 4.5 out of 5 read more
I love a fun matcha drink. Saw a video of the pear matcha latte on social media, so of course I had to come and try! A few parties ahead of me on this Monday morning but the one person working was fast! Store is clean and cute with some cute tote bags for sale. The drink is definitely on the sweet side and mostly milk with a splash of matcha flavor I'd say. If you're looking for a strong matcha flavor this ain't it. But if you have a sweet tooth and appreciate a fun pear drink, get it! I like it a lot but I like my drinks at 100% sweet lol and this is definitely hitting the spot. I really enjoy coming here mainly due to the affordability and the quantity. They offer a large, which is really big. But even their regular size drink is a good amount. None of the drinks I've tried so far were disappointing. I actually really enjoyed that you can taste the coffee. You can even add espresso shots. The banana flavor is artificial, but I don't mind it. I've had worse tasting artificial banana flavor before, so I was happy that their banana was not too bad. They offer a lot of unique combinations for their drinks and it's very enjoyable. If you want to just simply enjoy a drink and on the affordable size, I recommend this place. Although their drink isn't mind blowing, it's overall enjoyable. Their tote bags were really cute if you want to buy one. The staff is really friendly as well. Will definitely continue to come here. read more
Togo Coffee is originally from Canada and specializes in Toronto style coffee. Besides coffee, they offer fruit teas and matcha lattes. This is their first Southern California location. They weren't busy at all on a Sunday afternoon. Parking can be at the Hawaii Supermarket parking or street parking. It was a hot afternoon and I decided to go with their grape guava camellia tea. It doesn't taste artificial and there are green grape chunks in the drink which was a nice touch. The drink was refreshing, tangy and not too sweet. I would definitely come back to try their other drinks, especially the matcha. Service was alright. Staff was efficient but impersonal. read more

Ordered a pear matcha latte after shopping at Hawaii supermarket around the corner (recommend parking there + buy something there before coming here)! The pear matcha latte wasn't anything special: pear bits at the bottom of a typical matcha latte but it was okay in terms of taste (if you're not expecting an extraordinary flavor from it). I would come back again to try other drinks since their menu has a lot of unique drink combinations compared to other boba shops that I've been to! read more

Togo Coffee is located in a busy area of San Gabriel, there isn't any street parking so I recommend parking at the Hawaii Supermarket and walking over to this new drink place. It's quite small inside, quiet with no music playing, can feel a bit awkward while waiting for the worker to make your drinks. Once you walk inside you'll order at the kiosks and the order goes straight to the barista. There was only one person working and he made our drinks in about 10 minutes. Watching him make the drinks behind the counter was nice to see. My sister pointed out that they use syrups instead of fresh fruits for the drinks. We ordered the Kyoho Grape Lemon Tea, Pear Jasmine Tea, and Pear & Matcha. We bought them all to share and we enjoyed the flavors of each drink. The drinks weren't too sweet and had bright fruity and floral flavors. There wasn't anything that stood out about the drinks so for $6.50 I think it's a bit expensive. Togo Coffee isn't the type of coffee/ tea shop to hang out at, it's literally called "to go" because the drinks are meant to be bought to go lol. The location isn't the greatest and finding parking can be dreadful but I think it's worth trying if you're in the area. read more
#162 in my Coffeeshop Chronicles and #118 in my Teaholic Diaries. The name says it all. This is a grab and go shop, so if you're thinking of stopping by with expectations of sitting down, sipping your coffee, and getting some work done, then this isn't the place for you. The name very clearly warns you. Haha. I only mention it because I was literally scrolling through their photos trying to see if there was space to sit when it finally clicked for me. Lol. What can I say, I'm a bit on the slower side when it comes to these things :) Now onto the drinks. The Persimmon coconut latte was interesting. I was a little weirded out when I ordered the latte because of how unusual and peculiar the combination seemed to be, but the drink was surprisingly pleasant. The Hawthorn strawberry bubbly is a sparkling refresher and it was delicious. And lastly, the Osthmanthus jasmine milk tasted exceedingly watered down. This one was a hard no for me. Their menu is extensive so I'd love to go back and try something new. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. I have seen this place on TikTok and finally got to try today. Ordered the popular pear matcha with oat milk and it was pretty good. The pear bits add a nice texture to the drink and I appreciate that the matcha has a strong earthy flavor. Only thing is they haven't updated their menu to reflect current prices. I ordered the 1L size and it's $9.99 but menu shows it being $7.99. read more

Wanted to try this place cause the logo was cute! Located in the same block as Hawaii market, so I went ahead and just parked at Hawaii market to walk there haha. There is street parking available, but Hawaii market is more accessible. It's a small coffee shop, with kiosk to order and a small bench to wait. Looking at their menu, there is a wholeeee lot of drinks to choose from. A lot of it is either coffee or tea, or both in a drink. I saw on Yelp that most people like to get the osmanthus jasmine latte, so I ended up getting that drink. The wait wasn't too bad at all since they weren't too busy. They make their drinks fairly quickly! I got my drink and I had nothing in my stomach at all today, so i'm about to taste it's full flavors of it. So the first few sips, it's very unique that adding tea flavors to coffee works. Although, the caffeine is very very mild. Actually, even taste water down. It's kind of a confusing drink, whether its tea or coffee, but it doesn't seem like it fuses both that well. It's kind of like you can barely taste the tea, but you can also barely taste the coffee. I should have chosen a drink that's more pure next time, but I wanted to try something more unique. Also when it comes to asian coffee places (like cotti), I feel that their coffee isn't that strong, you don't feel that caffeinated punch that you need. This is a cute coffee shop! There's not much seating aside from the bench to sit on while waiting for your order. I ordered the Osmanthus Jasmine Latte with oat milk. I was surprised at how well the espresso paired well with the Osmanthus Jasmine. This is a nice floral drink, not very strong if you need that caffeine kick though. read more
