I've tried a lot of sugarcane juice around LA, and Fresh Cane immediately stood out from the first sip. The biggest difference? They use fresh sugarcane instead of frozen, and if you've had enough sugarcane juice, you can absolutely taste it. The flavor here is richer, earthier, and more complex than places like Vita Cane. Even the color is different. It's a little murkier and less transparent, which was my first clue that this was going to taste different. My husband and I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and were surprised to find no line. Ordering is done through a tablet kiosk at the front, and as soon as we finished placing our order, the woman working immediately started making everything fresh. We ordered the Sugar Cane Float to enjoy there and a half gallon of sugarcane juice to bring home. The float was unexpectedly good! Better than anticipated. We chose vanilla ice cream (they also had coconut, coffee, and another flavor I can't remember), and the two scoops melted into the sugarcane juice, giving it a creamy, almost milkshake-like texture while still tasting refreshing. I've never seen this offered at Vita Cane before, and now I'm already planning to come back to try the coconut version. The shop itself is very clean, with bench seating by the front windows if you'd like to wait for your order or enjoy your drink there. The woman working was also incredibly kind. When our half gallon was ready, she recommended portioning it out and freezing anything we wouldn't drink within three days so it would stay fresh. Good advice... except we ended up finishing the entire thing in two days! If you're a sugarcane juice fan and think all sugarcane juice tastes the same, Fresh Cane might change your mind. The difference between fresh and frozen cane is surprisingly noticeable, and this has easily become one of my favorite spots in SGV for a refreshing drink.
Ordered Doordash since they have BOGO promo currently! Got the Matcha Coconut Sugarcane and it was $9 for 2! It was very refreshing and delicious! Loved that it wasn't too sweet and it wasn't stuffed with too much ice! The matcha tasted very subtle but it wasn't a big deal because the standout was the sugarcane! Love how they use locally grown sugarcane and it definitely tasted very fresh! Overall, I really enjoyed my drink and would definitely recommend!
This has always been our fresh sugar cane to go place for years, and former owner Jason was always friendly. We are farther now and don't get to come as often as before, but so glad to see that under new management and new name, this is still the best place to get fresh sugar cane juice. And now the new owners have expanded the menu, and there are so many new drinks I want to try. Everything tastes fresh and yummy. Would definitely come back to try the Sugar Cane Oolong next time!
I love coming here for their sugar cane juice. IMO it is one of the best sugar cane drinks I've ever had. This is a small clean place for take out only. The server was friendly and took my order. Kiosk ordering is another option. I like their simple menu with specials on occasions. I always get my sugar cane drink with kumquat flavor. It is such a refreshing drink. I love that their drinks are natural with no added sugar or preservatives! Highly recommend!
At Vikon Center on Garvey Ave in Rosemead, I usually go to the sugarcane biz that resides inside the Khanh An Duong Herb Store. Last weekend, I decided to give Fresh Cane Juice a try. So glad I did because I've found my go-to sugarcane place from here on out. Got two sugarcane drinks... one with just sugarcane for me and another one with sugarcane + kumquat for my Mom. They did not disappoint. Best sugarcane drink in SGV! Fresh and pure sugarcane at its best. SO REFRESHINGLY GOOD, TOO! Lady staff was friendly and nice. They offer a variety of infused sugarcane + another flavor. Top 8 drinks displayed. Prices were very reasonable. Shop is small with no inside seating. No public restroom. Free parking is available at the shopping center. They are currently under new management. They have weekend specials for limited time. Can't wait to return to try Just Beet It and maybe even their entire Top 8. What are you waiting for? Come on by and check them out.
Tiny store but serves big flavors! Amazing!!! Need to go back!! One of the best sugar cane drinks I've ever had! (Better than Vita Cane in my opinion) All natural juices, no added sugars, no preservatives, made fresh daily! Half Cane Half Coco (half sugar cane and half coconut, large, iced, $9 plus tax) The sugar cane flavor was super prominent, and it tasted so good! It also comes with a few pieces of coconut. Glad that they didn't add too much ice. Would have loved to get it without ice, but $15 for a large without ice is quite pricey. They also have a special deal for the day, not sure how often they change the deals, but you could get a medium drink of their special for $5.50 which is not bad! The special for today was the pineapple sugarcane. The menu is not super big, which I like, while still having a good number of options. They have a kiosk for you to order or you can order with the staff. The staff member was nice to give me some recs when I asked what's popular. They also have dehydrated chili mango for sale on the side for $6.50 per container. The inside was nice and clean. I don't recall if there are seats. It's mostly an order-and-go type of place. It wasn't busy when I went around 1pm, and the drink only took 3 minutes to be ready! Lots of parking spaces in the parking lot shared with other businesses. Fresh Cane has its own reserved parking right in front of their store, so that was very convenient! Never knew a store like this existed so close to me!! I was in desperate need of hydration, so I decided to check this place out and I'm so glad I did! Highly recommend!!
What a gem, fine this newly owned sugar cane shop with great service and you know what? Fresh sugar cane. Nothing beats un frozen cane. They also slowly making tea infused sugarcane. Perfectly balance tea flavor and refreshing taste of sugar cane. Give them a try and really..... am I the first one this time Try and you will be back.

I came here one day when the store already closed but didn't realize it and one of the owners, I think it is spelled Tammy, was so sweet and gave me a drink she already made beforehand as she was leaving. This already gave me such a great impression of how well they treat their customers and how kind they were. Having such a strong impression I came back again a couple days later and got the sugar cane and coconut combo large and lemme tell u this was so refreshingly yummy and hands down would come here every day if I could. Every other place I have tried has either watered down their drinks or dont press their own sugarcane like this place does. I could taste both the perfectly sweet sugarcane and the fresh coconut juice and it was just sosososo good, literally liquid gold in my mouth. Don't think, just come here if you are looking for a refreshing drink!!!
First time trying sugarcane it's actually pretty good, a very good substitute for unhealthy fruit tea. I tried the sugarcane with pear and sugarcane with lalang grass root, my son loves the one with pear. I found out that sugarcane has a lot of health benefits. I will definitely come back lots more when I'm craving for sweet drinks.
Pretty simple concept. Great service + fresh squeezed sugar cane + reasonable price = Amazing. This place should be called FRESH FRESH Cane Juice...did I mention that it's FRESH? If you visit and there's a line, you'll need to be a little patient as the owner fresh squeezes the sugar to order so nothing is sitting around. Your basic menu is either 100% sugar cane or 50/50% where there's a splash of other juices (i.e. lemon or kumquat which are my favorites). Other places like Cococane down in Garden Grove and VitaCane in Alhambra are good but nothing compared to FC.
My friend introduced me to this place when running errands. I love sugarcane juice and this place hit the spot. Tammy, the owner was super nice and told us about her process in making these and the trial and error in picking good sugar cane. The large size is huge and they run a weekend special between 11-3pm where you get the large drink for the price of the regular size. They have a few benches inside but it's mostly pick up and take out. Store will be closed 8/24-9/1. read more

If you're looking for some refreshing sugarcane juice with a variety of different flavors, fresh cane juice is the fit for you. We went in to get two different flavors: - Pineapple ginger -lime, and lemon She added those flavors on at no additional cost, just as an additional solid for us. Really great, really refreshing. One of the best fresh cane juices we've had in a long time. Highly recommend if you're looking for something to quench your thirst during this hot summer sun. Service was really quick as well, and the ambience was really nice on the inside. Not a lot of space to drink inside, but plenty of space to drink outside. Highly recommend, 10 out of 10. read more

Discovered Fresh Canes while my husband and I were looking for Phu's Bakery. As it was our first visit here, it took a minute to read through the menu to see what they had and decide what we wanted to order. We settled with ordering a large size with ice plain sugar cane drink. We were originally going to go with the "no ice" option until we saw that there would be a charge for it. The plain sugar cane drink was delicious and not diluted (like the sugar cane drinks from other places). You can really taste the earthiness/plant-ness or whatever the right term is called, and it really is the same flavor as if you're chewing on a sugar cane stick yourself (yielding a lot less juice for the effort, of course). The amount of ice in the "with ice" option wasn't even much. I'm glad we found this place, and can't wait to try some of their other drink options the next time we're back in town and in the area! Cash only unless you hit their minimum of $10. They have a free parking lot shared with other shops in the plaza. read more

This is the best Sugar Cane Juice bar in the LA area. Why? Unlike most that use FROZEN imported sugar cane, Fresh canes uses CALIFORNIA grown sugarcane they pick up FRESH every week. I have been coming here for Years, and Jason the owner is a great guy as well. I recommend bringing empty containers like mason jars, which is excellent for a juice cleanse. I do recommend adding lemon to the juice so it stays fresh longer and if your super hard-core like me, you can vacuum seal your jars and I have stored the juice for up to a week! read more

The sugar cane juice is fantastic! It tastes so fresh like it's just been juiced. It reminds me of my childhood when my grandma had a sugar cane tree in her backyard. I'm a fan of the plain sugar juice. $7 for a large, and it was plenty. My sister got the just beet it that came with carrot and beet juice. She said it was good. My mom loved the kumquat flavored sugar cane juice. Service was friendly and quick. read more
Mmm you can really taste real sugar cane. My husband got one with watermelon, beet, and pineapple. It was refreshing and yummy. My four year old kept stealing it and drinking it. I really like kumquat, so I will probably come back to try that, next time. read more
No frills sugarcane place. Emphasis on sugarcane over coconut water only because I know some people naturally expect more of a coconut water offering. Personally the sugarcane juice here is solid and delicious. The drinks themselves do tend to be on the sweeter side so if that's your jam, then you found the right place! I personally prefer more coconut water to sugarcane ratio, but I'm sure you could ask and they would be able to accommodate. Not bad for a hot summer day. The drinks were refreshing but could use a little more ice. I felt like all the ice melted even before we got our drinks. Overall, there drinks were refreshing and fulfilled our sugarcane juice cravings. Would definitely come back! read more

On a very hot day, I was craving real sugar cane juice. I haven't drank it in a long time. I thought I would try Fresh Canes and ordered the carrot and cucumber flavor and my thirst was quench. LOL. I would definitely be back to try some of their other flavors. read more

They really make the drink fresh without any additives or whatsoever. I got their half & half which contains half sugar cane and half coconut water which I think it's a very interesting taste because I've never tasted anything like that before lol. I've tried both drinks before but never really thought they would be good to combine. It's very experimental. I'd say some people will like it and some will find it weird taste. It costs about $7 too because they are all natural and considered premium drink. Parking is super easy because they are located in a Plaza where they offer tons of parking. read more
Super fresh sugarcane juice on a warm summer afternoon is super refreshing! After lunch, we decided to come by for some refreshing fresh cane juice to cool down and this was close by. It's a small walk up area without seating but super cute decor. They offer fresh cold pressed sugar cane juice, you can add in other juices (carrot, green apple, pineapple, kumquat, watermelon or pennyworth) or toppings like aloe & mango jelly. It's a nice simple menu. Sugarcane with Pineapple juice - YUM! it's super refreshing, sweet, tart and cool! Exactly what I was needing! It comes in a chubby cup, so I had to hold it while driving as it doesn't fully sit in the cup holder. Sad they ran out of aloe :( Sugarcane with Lemon juice - Super refreshing! Love this on a warm summer afternoon! Service was quick & friendly. Located in a plaza with shared parking. Recommended! read more

Very good sugar cane juice. True to the title of this store. I wish more people knew about the business! The hubby got watermelon flavor and I wish I got the same. They use real fruits ! Not syrup!! Will recommend to others read more
First timer here, so I had a hard time trying to choose what flavors to infuse with the sugar cane. I was possibly thinking about watermelon, pineapple, or cucumber, but ultimately ended up with kumquat. When I told my brother I was thinking about watermelon, he said my sister-in-law got that last time, but he had to finish it for her because she didn't enjoy it. She regretted not getting the kumquat infused one, which my brother suggested and claimed it was the best one. When I took a sip, I wasn't too sure about it, especially since I'm not into kumquat. It took me a few more sips, but it wasn't bad. The tanginess of the kumquat was a nice combination for the sweetness of the sugarcane. The sugarcane apparently is also homegrown by the owner and he doesn't skimp out by running the sugarcane through the machine until it dries out. I see myself coming back if I was ever in the mood for sugarcane, but I would try a different combination. read more
