Tea Brick! A small shop in SGV that's committed to their unique cup/bottle designs are quality tea. Interior design is pretty simple here, just red bricks all around and a self ordering kiosk which is always a plus for tea shops. While the shop is pretty small, it's more ideal for a grab and go type of shop rather than a hangout spot. Although they do have some small tables and bench seating. Free street parking + parking lot in the back, underground parking as well along with free Wi-Fi in the shop. Staff here is pretty mixed. While they're friendly, they seem a bit slow at times. They can take up to 10-15 minutes per order even if there's not much customers, not sure what the exact process is but sometimes they're fast but sometimes slow, could be just a off chance experience. Most pictures you see from Tea Brick are their amazing and unique bottle designs, which you can pay a tad bit extra to get the bottle with your drink rather than the standard cups. I'd say it's pretty worth it considering it's not too much of a expensive and it's definitely worth the social media posts. It's very cute and they have plenty of designs from time to time. As a dog owner, I love their designs. They can be reusable in a sense even though there's a hole for your straw that you can't seal yourself. As for the drinks, they're not the best but not the worse either. They can be refreshing at times especially on a warmer day. Overall, a decent experience, more of a experience to get their cute bottle cups rather than the drinks. Drinks were not my favorite - my friend & I got a couple of their fruit teas and they tasted quite syrupy/fake with some fruit chunks inside. BUT I would come back (and have) to get work done. Good amount of seating, WiFi, outlets, and food available makes it a good spot to study/get work done! My wife has been coming here since she was a small girl and I've been coming here for about 6+ years or so. Not much has changed, but I love that they've stayed the test of time through the pandemic and closures happening all around. Food: Their fried snacks are decent, but not super duper amazing. I normally purchase their ice cream drinks or their coffee but they finally released new coffee drinks so I had to finally write a review on this spot. Their coffee normally isn't the best but these two new coffee drinks they released are a huge step up from what they used to be. I love the sea salt coconut coffee that I ordered. Not too sweet but also not underwhelming enough like their other coffee drinks. Service: Not much service here. I'm not sure how they were before, but nowadays, you order from a screen and their entire kitchen area is blocked from even seeing someone. We were in the area picking up our Thanksgiving dinner order, so I figured we would take advantage of what SGV has to offer and try a new boba place. I had this place bookmarked for the longest time, and it's literally right across the street from the restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. This may not be their fault, but we had trouble placing an online order, so we had to order in-person inside the store. We got a Thai iced tea with boba & a rose green milk with agar boba. Even though I got 50% sweet, both drinks were considerably sweeter than other boba shops that we frequent. I did appreciate that they fill up the drink all the way to the top even though we got "no ice," and the serving size is very generous (since we're so used to being gypped in the Bay Area for upgrading drink sizes LOL)! I was bummed that we couldn't try their food menu and also brick toasts, which I believe is one of their "signature" items considering their shop name. Right now, since it is colder in Southern California, I don't come here as often. However, during the spring and summer, I'm here quite frequently to hang out and catch up with friends or after eating just down the street, this is a place that we would come for dessert. My family and I like the wide variety of drinks that they have. But one thing that we always love to order is their mango and strawberry brick toast with the condensed milk and ice cream. Yes, it is sweet, but it definitely is meant to be shared. Price is here are more than reasonable. I feel like they don't charge an arm in a leg for their drinks so their desserts. This is I would think the median price. Or at least it happens to be when we are in the Monterey Park or San Gabriel Valley area. The consistency of their drinks is always appreciated. I love that they make teas as well as smoothies and milkshake type drinks. The wait time obviously will vary, depending on how many orders have been put in ahead of yours, but usually the wait time is not long. I feel like even when I've been here in the line to order is out the door, the way to receive your drink is still not a long time. There is a parking lot in the back. There's also street parking on the sides of this strip mall. I love coming here. The designs on their cup change throughout the year. I tend to reuse and repurpose my bottles that I get from here. My little one is still in elementary school. So I have found that their thin Crayola brand washable markers fit very nicely in these bottles, as well as their colored pencils. read more

Tea Brick was ok. We ordered the Mango Green Tea 25% sweet... the tea was really bitter & the tea didn't taste anything like mango... just green tea with bits of mango... I probably wouldn't order this again... We also got our son a Strawberry Snow Milk 25% sweet. He really liked it... Been wanting to try this tea shop and it did not disappointment! The fruit teas and milk teas were both great! You can taste both the tea and fruit in the tea, neither one over powering the other it was rich in flavor. We ordered the Christine, Brown Sugar tea, Strawberry Snow milk, and taro. Teda had such great customer service. She really took the time to make us great recommendations and was very friendly. All customers who came were also friendly! Parking can kind of be tough here but there is an underground structure which makes it easier to find a spot. Upon entering, we were not greeted by a staff member and we noticed the cute dog mural near the entrance. There is an option to order at the self-ordering kiosk or with a staff member. We ordered at the kiosk, but a staff member was available to answer our questions on the menu. We ordered a Party Punch Tea, Dragon Ball, and Original Matchamisu Milk Tea. All drinks were ordered with a bottle instead of a cup and with 50% sweetness. The current bottle is super cute with Corgis on it with a small upcharge. Our drinks came out quickly and were all solid. The Party Punch Tea was more milky than expected but it was still good. The Dragon Ball was light and refreshing with a balanced flavor with the fruit in it. Overall, giving Tea Brick a 5/5. A boba place that has really strong tea base. I'm usually pretty jittery after drinking tea brick drinks. You can order from the kiosk or with a person at the register. I would recommend the kiosk because usually no one is at the register and you have to wait forever for someone to actually acknowledge you. I usually get the Christine or green milk tea with pudding. I would recommended ordering their drinks with 75% sugar since the tea is really strong and bitter. The Christine - A really fruity and refreshing drink, but tea is really strong and sometimes too bitter and overpowering. Green milk tea - Very milky. I usually get pudding which makes the drink sweeter. I ordered grass jelly once and it was not the grass jelly that I'm used to from boba shops. The texture was much harder and not as sweet. This was way out of the way from where we live but totally worth the drive. They had The Vanessa and I had to try cause of course my name is Vanesa. It was a strawberry peach tea and I added boba to it as well it was delicious! Love the cute cups they put them in with the doggies, it's a great touch. The guy who took our order was very kind and answered any questions we had about flavors or the sweetness cause you can pick if you don't want it that sweet or ice and all that good stuff. They have this cool curtain where you pick up your drinks and that was a fun touch! They have a good amount of seating area for you to chill and hangout and have your Tea. Prices are reasonable for what you are getting as well some laces can be a bit overpriced. There is parking on the street but there is parking in the back of the place as ell it's shared so you may have to wait. Pretty neat place! Been on a boba kick lately! And revisiting some oldy but goody locations such as this one. Haven't been here in ages. Great place for specialty drinks, they have so many different options and varieties to choose from. From guava, blueberry, lychee, mango, and a few others. Their fruity tea preset drinks are great for those that need a little extra oomph than a basic peach green tea. Love that many of those preset fruity teas come with fruit bits and/or toppings. Their boba texture is alright and could be a little better. It's on the tougher side, it does require a few extra chews before it breaks down. Could also use a little bit more flavoring as well. The syrup it was sitting in was not strong enough to seep through, you can taste the sweet syrup mixture it was sitting in slightly on the outside and the inside is extremely bland.
