Brown sugar milk tea with lychee jelly and boba
    Natalia H.

Believe me or not, I've visited this place around 120 times, 3 years living in LA lol. Hands down best brown sugar milk tea in the world. I tried 70+ boba places as brown sugar milk tea addict, nothing tops this one. Wish they have location on west side. Their point system is also super good, for few free drinks. Best of the best.

look at all the boba... soooo good

I've been a loyal customer of this place. Quality of boba is always great... soft on the outside with a chewy sweet center. And look at all the boba they put on my drink

My boyfriend and I were in the Monterey Park area and decided to get some boba on our way back home. This spot came up and we decided to give it a try. I had the Lychee Peach drink and my boyfriend had the honey lemon tea with boba. They were both delicious and served in a super cute cup. ( See Photo) The inside is quite small but, it's a great place to pick up some boba. Didn't have much of a wait which was nice. I would definitely be curious to try some of their other drinks.

We love this place and it's our go to for boba and espresso for the cute Corgi bottles. Service is fast and the boba is always flavorful and fresh. Good stuff! :)

my girlfriend and I wanted Boba while we were visiting in Southern California and came across tea brick. The service was also good since we ordered on a kiosk. The ambience was a sit down café to enjoy the snacks and Boba of tea brick

First time ! 5/5 Cups 5/5 Taste 5/5, very bold flavor Pride 5/5 for the cups you can more than reuse And it's designed n cute Great job!! We tried milk tea boba, super bold flavors from the black tea, almost a little too strong. As I'm typing this almost 11pm, fully awake from this tea. The milk balances it well. Sweetness just right. Boba chew level is perfect. Deserve every penny they charge

Did not get a greeting but I did hear them busy at work with other orders. There is a kiosk to order anyway sooo not a huge deal. I LOVE THE PLAYLIST, so fun! The Oolong Milk Tea was delicious and so was the taste of the Blueberry Madness Tea I stole from my boyfriend. Highly recommend this spot

    Thai Ice Tea with boba

First time checking out this place! I was in the area the ambience is chill modern, clean, K-pop music playing in the background. Employees were nice I would say it's a solid boba spot, but also Thai ice tea is also usually pretty "safe" I would say it was cool there were only like 2 other girls my age but the service was very fast after 5pm idk if it's always like that.

The milk tea tasted super processed, typical milk tea you get from Asian Chinese food court. Overall 5 out of 10-mediocre.

Yes, but they give you the option of choosing the level of sweetness. They give you that option for all their drinks.

What's in a mojito and snow bomb?

both are soda based, mojito has lime juice and mint leaves. soda bomb has ice cream

Are the plastic cups here BPA free? Also, is there a discount if I bring back the cup to reuse?

Don't think they are BPA free. Not sure if there's a discount for reusing the cup.

Do they accept reusable boba cups?

No. During covid, they said they will not let you bring your own cup nor their reusable plastic bottles.

    Any Keto drinks available?

They don't specifically have "keto" drinks, but I am sure you can ask them to make/customize a drink on their current menu for you that is keto-friendly (depending on what you want and don't want in it).

They stand out for their very large selection of teas, as well as customizable tea options. I like that they also offer unique house-made toppings like black sweet rice, rose cream foam, and matcha pudding. My go-to drinks are the Hojicha Tiramisu Black Tea Latte and Uji Matcha Latte. The tiramisu layer makes the drink very creamy and rich. It works perfectly with the roasted, nutty hojicha flavor. As for the uji matcha latte, it has a slightly sweet creaminess with just the right ratio of matcha and milk. A nice little perk is that they always have a BOGO free drink deal, which rotates every week. However, every BOGO drink I've tried is pretty basic and nothing special. The drink usually comes with boba as a topping. The boba here isn't the best though. From my experience, the boba tends to stick together and become chunky.

We ordered two of their best-sellers--the Daydream Black Tea Latte and Divine Awakening Tea Latte--and both were weak, watered down, and not fragrant at all. The drinks were also strangely too cold, even for iced. They make their jelly in-house, which we were excited about since jelly toppings are big in the 626, but theirs was plain and forgettable. The shop is inside 99 Ranch, and the seating area felt dingy, with dirty, grimy tables. Staff were friendly and polite, and that's the main reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. The only upside was the friendly service, but overall, with so many better boba options in the area, we wouldn't come back.

There's a self-order kiosk and since no one else was in line I was able to browse through it on my own time. I ordered the Osmanthus Oolong Tea ($5.05) with Osmanthus Oolong Tea Jelly ($1). I was the only one there so took maybe only about 2 minutes to come out. Both the tea and the jelly had a very strong tea flavor, which is what I prefer, which is why I usually reduce the amount of sweetness in all my drinks. It's definitely different with the jelly instead of the boba I usually get, but it's a nice change. Contact was very minimal since you order at the kiosk first and the only human interaction is when they bring out your order to you. I think for the size that you get it was pretty pricy, but it's definitely slightly different from your typical boba shop. If I happen to be at this same 99 Ranch again I'd stop by for a treat, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Nothing made me gasp, nothing made me weep, and definitely nothing made me want to come back for round two. The popping boba? Now let's talk about the adventure of getting inside. This place on Valley Blvd has more iron barricades than a medieval fortress. The door facing Valley? Locked. Barred. Rejected. You've got two options: walk all the way around through the parking lot like some kind of peasant making a pilgrimage, or -- and I quote -- simply climb over the fence. Because yes, apparently that's a viable alternative they've just accepted as normal. Service is fine. Not warm, not cold. Just... fine. The kind of fine where they hand you your drink, you say thanks, they nod, and you both understand this is the last time you'll see each other. And outlets? None. Zero. Nada. If your phone's at 5%, may God have mercy on your soul because this tea shop certainly won't. Would I go back? Only if I'm already in the parking lot. And the fence is already open. And someone else is paying. And I've forgotten what popping boba is supposed to taste like. Otherwise? Hard pass. Hard boba. Hard entrance. Hardly worth it.
