I've tried the auntea Jenny location in flushing, and I love it, so of course when I'm in the west coast I have to try it as well!! We got the: -Jasmine milk tea: delicious, can't go wrong with this! I always get 50% and I find it perfect -Mango pomelo sago coconut drink: I love all the toppings on this. Everything came together so well. You can order on the kiosk so everything is quick and efficient!
I have given this place prob 2-3 tries already. Yesterday, will be the last. All 3 times, the drinks were NOT GOOD. First time was a few days after their grand opening. They only offered milk drinks. My family thought it was whatever. I didn't think it was that great. The flavor was so light. Could hardly tasted anything. Came back yesterday. I noticed that they offered peach tea. The tea was very light. Almost like drinking water with a hint of peach. The only one that was good was the Lemon Iced tea lol I guess it's the most simple one to make. I also ordered their milk tea with red rice. I didn't try it, but was told that it was pretty bland. I ordered online yesterday. When I finished checking out, the order said will be ready in an hr!!!!! An HOUr??? WTH I went there a bit earlier...there wasn't even a line lol the staff told me that they didn't finish brewing the tea. I was fine with it. I was like OoO...gonna get fresh tea lol but all drinks were almost teaLESS! I said it before...there are so many boba shops in the area. Quality must be good to stick around...
This plaza and the surrounding area was such intense competition for milk tea LOL. Felt like every few miles you could find tons of milk tea store from the small local ones to the big global brands. Auntea Jenny was one of the relatively new kid on the block, and as expected successfully drew the crowd. Definitely pre order online to skip the line; as the venue was pretty packed and humid. Very limited seats anyway, so most likely you would have your drinks for to go. We got their Premium Jasmine Milk Tea and Da Hong Bao Milk Tea, with default 70% sweetness and light ice. We loved both of 'em and thought that it really depended on your tea preference to decide which one's better, either you loved something more fragrant and floral or more darker roast one. YMMV, but we fancied the default 70% sweetness with easy ice as it just suited our palate well. The tea flavor of both drinks were solid and for us, Auntea Jenny made itself a strong contender in LA's milk tea battle for sure based on flavor and price!
4.5 stars. Overall, I like their drinks. Most of what I've tried are good. They have more tables now. Maybe about 5 two-seater tables. Still not a suitable place to sit and chit chat (catch up), but good for waiting on your order or a quick rest. SWEET DRINKS: Sweet Corn Taro w/ Grains 4.5/5 Cascade Brûlée Boba Fresh Milk Tea 4.5/5 Boba is kinda good. The brulee part and milk tea are also decently good. Overall, a good combo or mix. Jasmine Lemon Tea 4.5/5 70% sugar. Refreshing and good. I think I might just like it slightly more than Charlie Tea's Fragrant Lemon Tea. Although both are good. White Peach Oolong Tea 4.25/5 This one and the Jasmine Tea Latte are both solid choices for a simple milk tea. Jasmine Tea Latte 4.25/5 Premium Matcha Daifuku Cheese Foam 4/5 Wanted to like this drink, but it was ok/alright/fine/drinkable for me. I would choose UG Tea's Next Level Matcha or Cha Redefine's Matcha Matcha over this one. HEALTHY/FRUITY DRINKS: Kale Apple Chia Seed Boost Tea 4.5/5 My go-to. Apricot Seaberry Glow Tea 4.25/5 70% sugar is a tad bit too sweet. 50% would do for me. Good. Would reorder occasionally. Six Berry Glow Boost Tea 4.25/5 50% sugar. Not bad, but like the Kale Apple Chia Seed Boost Tea more than this one and the Apricot one. Six Berries Tea comes with "Pearl Boba". Not sure what is it actually called, but it looks translucent like pearls. First had it at Cotti Coffee. The center has bits of water chestnut(?) At least the taste & texture is similar to water chestnut.
I had a good experience at Auntea Jenny (San Gabriel). I ordered the Classic Mango Pomelo Sago ($7.79 - Large - Recommended 70% Sugar). I enjoyed its flavor of chill, fresh mango. YUM! (Important: Cash is not accepted. Card or contactless payment only. Also, this is primarily a To-Go Spot. The seating is extremely limited.) I arrived at Auntea Jenny (San Gabriel) on Thursday (around 11:43AM). Parking is simple since there's an underground parking structure. I quickly found a spot. Customers order at counter; there's no self-service kiosk. Staff is polite and professional. Staff is always working since this location is very popular with online orders and "to-go" pickups. As mentioned, I'd ordered the Classic Mango Pomelo Sago ($7.79 - Large - Recommended 70% Sugar). I loved this same drink from the City of Industry location, so I knew what to expect. The flavor of fresh mango and chill coconut milk always soothes my throat and makes me feel reinvigorated. Also, its crystal pearls give a friendly "pop" whenever I bite into them. This drink continues to be one of my favorites. YUM! On ambiance, Auntea Jenny (San Gabriel) felt awkward. I don't know if Staff knew (perhaps from limited English) but the loud music on their speakers was rap with a lot of profanity and expletives. This music style was nonstop. It was surreal. Auntea Jenny (San Gabriel) is also very small with no visible bottle of hand sanitizer, no visible trashcan (I had to hand my trash to a Staff member), and no indoor restroom. It's a tiny, relatively clean place. There's only one short bench and one tiny table with two chairs. Overall, I had a pleasant experience. I enjoyed my Classic Mango Pomelo Sago, and it continues to be one of my favorites. I left happy. 4.7 out of 5
Busy but efficient loved how we got our drinks fast here! They have a ton of variety and actually obsessed right now with their matcha line. Also for a boba shop I'm pretty surprised and excited about the healthy options I had to try the multigrain fiber drink. Very much tasted like corn milk tea and I'm obsessed. For the tea- I love the jasmine lemon tea- citrusy and with enough floral notes from the jasmine tea this is very refreshing. The Strawberry green milk tea daifuku- is creamy and sweet and tart from the strawberries and that daifuku mochi is a pleasant surprise with every sip. This is a small location- best to order ahead and pickup and enjoy out!
The tea was okay. We got a buy one get one free deal to try their new drinks. I would say the tea is mild and similar or not as good as the teas I can make at home. We tried the Longjing tea latte which is a type of green tea but better. We also tried the Longjing green mochi fresh milk tea. I didn't love the mochi but they weren't terrible. They had a bit too much of a starchy taste for my preference. Maybe would have preferred if they were sweeter. The shop has some sitting space and the service was okay. I didn't appreciate seeing people spraying raid outside while we were in line to get tea though.
I had a wonderful experience at Auntea thanks to the amazing team. Jenny, Abby , and Alice provided outstanding customer service they were all friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout my visit. They took the time to make sure everything was perfect. Store also added couple new seating from last time I visited. The drinks were incredibly fresh, tasty, and refreshing. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients, and every sip was delicious. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I'll definitely be coming back again to try out couple new drinks . Highly recommend Auntea San Gabriel for both the amazing staff and the high-quality drinks!
San Gabriel already has so many boba spots, but Auntea Jenny is doing something different. I went with the Premium Matcha Jasmine Tea Latte and the Daifuku Cheese Foam. The matcha was really silky and I could taste the quality of their matcha jelly. I also grabbed their Kale Apple Fiber Chia Seed Boost Tea because I needed something healthy to balance out my day & honestly, it was really good! There was a pretty solid line when I got there, but our drinks came out fast. They had 3 people making the drinks.
This place is BUSY. Unfortunately, the high volume of orders took a toll on the quality of the drinks. I paid for boba in my drink and got maybe a total of 7 pearl balls, which sucks since the boba is actually pretty good. The tea itself was slightly fragrant but was on the watery side. The workers were friendly. But i feel that there could be a better system to pick up drinks. Drinks are left on the counter and everyone overwhelms the one single worker packing drinks. Me being environmentally conscious...but Auntea Jenny provides a reusable bag to hold drinks in which seems very wasteful. Also the sink faucets are left turned on to the max, wasting tons of water every minute.

A friend recently hosted a boba taste test, and Aunt Jennie's was one of the top contenders, so I had to see what the hype was about. I originally went in for the mango drink, but they were sold out, so I ordered the Strawberry Daifuku instead. I got the recommended 70% sweetness, and it was perfect. I was pleasantly surprised how bright and tangy it was. I was expecting something that leaned more like sweet strawberry milk, but it had a fresh flavor that was balanced really well by the chewy mochi topping. It was refreshing without being overly sweet. A couple of downsides: the shop was uncomfortably hot while waiting inside, and the customer service felt cold and standoffish for such a cute store. I also noticed the restaurant has a B health rating. Overall, the drink exceeded my expectations. read more

Enjoyed my Mango Sago Smoothie so much that I had to get 2 more the day after via dine-in experience! They're open daily - Mon-Thurs - 11:30am-11pm - Fri-Sun - 11:30am-12pm Parking was difficult since it's located inside a busy plaza so parking is very limited but there is nearby street parking. However, that was hard too since there were lots of apartment complexes. Inside was very small so definitely not a good study spot but there are a few chairs and tables. Upon arrival, it was a bit busy since I went on a Friday night but it helped that there was a self-serve kiosk, as well, as a staff taking orders at the register. It would be nice if there was an additional self kiosk though. Service was pretty fast and friendly despite it being busy. Prices were reasonable and most drinks were $6-$7 There was a good variety of milk and fruit teas, as well as coffee and matcha drinks. Loved that they do sugar and ice adjustments! Also, there is a good variety of toppings for +$0.99. (sago - +$0.49!) Mango Pomelo Sago ($6.99 - regular & $7.99 - large) Got it with 70% sugar (that's the best recommended sugar level) and it wasn't too sweet. The mango was so fresh and had huge chunks of real mango! The pomelo wasn't too sour and the sago was so soft. The drink was so fruity, delicious, and refreshing. This is definitely one of my favorite Mango Pomelo Sago from all the boba shops I've been to - Yifang & Macu Tea. Overall, I really enjoyed my takeout and dine-in experience so I'll definitely return and recommend! read more

I usually get the basics such as Premium Jasmine Tea Latte which is good. This time I tried the White Champaca Oolong Tea Latte but it had a somewhat weak flavor, too milk heavy. The cups are great and space is small inside, but they added little tables and chairs recently so it's more comfortable. Love and wink! read more

Came here with family on Sunday afternoon. Not super crowded. I got the lemon jasmine tea with 30% sugar level. It was very refreshing and perfect sugar level for my taste. Would come back for another refreshing drink on a hot day. read more

This place was busy busy. It took some time for our drinks to arrive and they didn't have the power juice. Told us they didn't have the pins available but saw another staff give another customer one. The drinks was good and I won't complain because they had BOGO promo for the time being! Gotta love the BOGO. But I guess if it goes away, its a bit pricey for one drink. Depends on how much you crave it It's a small shop without many seating and everyone was standing outside in the parking lot waiting for their drinks. The orders were stacked up. Super glad I got to try the Auntea Jenny's San Gabriel location without having to drive all the way to Rowland Heights! I ordered the Premium Matcha Daifuku Cheese Foam w/ mochi. The matcha was good and not as sugary compared to other cafes. Minus 1 because of the foam. I see the foam but it's not tasting like cheese :c The mochi was soft and stretchy -- absolutely love that . I'd definitely would come back to try their other drinks ! read more
Grand opening was packed! Kudos to the staff for getting drinks out quickly. Jasmine Tea Latte - 5/5. I love their jasmine tea selection. It's fragrant with a nice floral aftertaste. Even at 0% sweetness, the tea blends perfectly with the milk so you know they're not masking low-quality tea with syrup. They've definitely figured out the proportions...it was much milkier when I tried it during their soft opening. I hope I don't get canceled, but I'd pick this over Molly's jasmine milk tea. read more

Service was quick. There was a kiosk where we were able to quickly order our drinks. Space was limited inside and there was already a bit of a crowd waiting for their drinks. After waiting for a while for our drinks, we finally received them. I really like the mango pomelo sago. There was definitely a good amount of the mango and pomelo chunks inside. I could feel a good amount of the pearls as well. It is definitely a refreshing drink to try. read more

Went to try auntea jenny for the first time and got the matcha series. They had 3 different matcha drinks for the premium matcha. I opted for the two iced ones. I enjoyed the matcha boba fresh milk tea more than the matcha daifuku cheese foam. I got it at 70% sweetness and it was still pretty sweet. But the boba here is really good!! They are cooked perfectly and had a nice chew to them. These two matcha drinks are very heavy in dairy so bring lactaid!! The place has one table and a small bench to sit. Definitely more of a take out space. Saw lots of orders come through online. They were busy fulfilling orders. read more

kale apple fiber chia seed boost tea, 30% sweet ($6.99) - 8/10. this was refreshing and sour (to my liking)! 30% was the perfect sweetness level. it's a great pick for a hot summer day. the cup that it comes with is very cute. signature red glutinous rice fresh milk tea, 50% sweet ($6.99) - 3/10. this was quite strange.. there is a generous amount of red rice (taking up half the cup) but the rice itself was a bit mushy and overly sweet. the black tea base wasn't good and i couldn't taste it. all i could taste is milk and sweet rice. i got my drinks within 10 minutes of ordering on a friday afternoon. the menu (items and prices) by the cashier doesn't match the menu on the kiosk nor the ceiling monitor which was confusing. i got $2 off coupon by signing up and ordering through their app. there is limited seating, maybe enough for 4 people i wouldn't come again given the many other options available in the area. read more

Came on a Thursday, they opened ~11:30am. I was the first person in line, not intentionally. I was in the neighborhood and really wanted to try their Longjing tea latte. It was delicious and the prices are decent too! I would definitely order it again. There's only 2 small seating areas in the store so you can't really chill there if both areas are taken. There is plenty of parking at the basement level since there are 3 or 4 other boba shops in this plaza, finding ground level parking would be tough. read more

Auntea Jenny is so good and can taste it is premium quality. My husband who drinks a lot of boba milk tea also said it is high end. He liked their strawberry drinks like the strawberry daifuku with mochi and also their premium green tea. The drink packaging was nice. I enjoyed the red rice drink. I'm excited they are opening in the SGV ! I want to come back and try the mango drink. The plaza has lots of underground parking which is nice. The staff were friendly. read more

This plaza officially has options! Valley BLVD is filled with well known boba shops so it was about time Auntea Jenny made an appearance. This location doesn't have any seating except for one small table inside so its most accessible as a grab and go type of setting. They have a lot of on going promos for soft opening + hungrypanda deals which allows you to get your bang for your buck! Personally a fan of their jasmine GMT Parking is available in an underground lot! read more

I had a wonderful experience at the Auntea Jenny store in San Gabriel. I have visited other locations, and I'm glad I continued to have a good experience here. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, and it didn't take too long for my drinks to be made. This was my first time at Auntea Jenny. I tried their matcha series and it was so rich & creamy. Their tea has a nice fragrant flavor. The store was beautiful decorated, this location is an express shop to grab drinks. The store is pretty small but perfect for grab and go. The workers were super friendly. I know this place just opened, but come on guys... if you're not ready for an opening, you should postpone it or at least treat your first time customers better. Just came here on a Monday night around 9pm and there was no wait. They were out of certain drinks so my bf and I ordered 2 tea lattes. I realized after today I need to ask for a printed receipt everytime I order boba. After clicking "no" to printing a receipt after tipping & paying, I realized I didn't know what my order # was. There was no text and the worker didn't also tell me what my order # was either. So after I asked one of the worker if I can know what my order # was, they were struggling to find my order (which I found it odd).. after some time, they just said they found it and will take some time because they needed to brew a new batch of the jasmine tea (..they still didn't tell me what my order # was). After waiting 20min, I started to get pretty annoyed especially after seeing more than 5 customers getting their drinks on time and us still waiting for ours. And then finally, the girl who took our order finally pointed out a take out bag saying she thinks this is ours.... I had noticed that the bag had been sitting there for quite some time (maybe even 20min ago - who knows??) and I called them out on it and although the girl was nice enough to ask if we wanted our drinks remade, I didn't want to wait any longer than we already had as I was pretty annoyed so we took the drinks and left. As if things couldn't get any worse, we were almost half way back home and as I took several sips of my drink, there was no boba! ... -_- .... and my bf also mentioned that he overheard another customer come back with his drink because they also didn't get boba in their drink. Management - you need to step up on providing better customer service. Especially after just opening? There was a guy that seemed like a manager or owner, but it didn't seem like he cared at all. I've been here a few times and always have a great experience! The drinks are consistently delicious, made with quality ingredients, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The shop is clean and has a cozy atmosphere. Definitely one of my go-to spots whenever I'm craving boba. Highly recommend! read more
