The matcha, regular teas, and hojicha are all great quality and fragrant which I love. The boba is usually fresh and chewy also. They usually have a seasonal menu that changes quite frequently and it's been fun trying new drinks. The matcha coconut chill (just coconut water and a matcha cream top) was something I've seen elsewhere and been wanting to try. I have seen Cha Redefine pop up on SGV, so I finally decided to try on very hot day. This location is part of the Santa Anita mall in the outdoor area where there a few other boba locations. There was no line when I went so I ordered with the employee. There is also a kiosk. I really like the ambiance of the store. It was cool items to look at and tons of seating (including tables and a bar). Just overall super cute inside. I did wait a long time for my drink. I thought it would come out pretty quickly because there were no other orders and several staff members. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up if you're in a rush to grab a drink. I ordered a matcha latte, which seemed to one of their more popular items. Once my drink came out, I was a little surprised by how small it was (considering the price). I have been on a matcha and boba kick lately and this was one was one of the smallest one that I have gotten. The other thing is that the drink itself was pretty average. This place has some very unique drinks and ingredients seem to be high quality. Decor is tranquil with a zen-like vibe. There isn't much seating inside but the interior appears spacious. There's even a little photo machine where you can take a selfie and post it on the mirror. It prints photos onto a receipt paper in black & white, giving it a vintage look. Nice, unique touch to the store. Coco Popcorn Latte was excellent. It has double espresso, coconut popcorn milk, regular milk, and crispy rice puffs. Loved the nutty flavor mixed with strong espresso. Matcha Matcha was good too but matcha flavor was overwhelming. I can tell this place uses really high quality matcha but it was too bitter with so much matcha. Matcha cheese foam helped a bit but I could've gone sweeter on this drink. Good thing I ordered Taro Mochi Ice Cream as well because it helped sweeten the drink. I just dumped about quarter of it into the drink and then it was excellent. The ice cream was excellent too. Very smooth and silky like a soft serve, and the super soft mochi at the bottom added a nice texture. The mochi was more like a marshmallow but not as sweet. Cha redefine will always be a go-to. My favorite drink is the Mochi Mango, and would def reccomend to anyone. This location specifically tends to get crowded often, hence it is in mall. However, even during rushes, the staff is fast and efficient. It sometimes gets tight, especially when the line goes out the door, but this spot is nice to sit in and chill when there are less people. Bonus: They have a free photobooth, but it was out of paper when I went. I was still able to download a digital version. read more

They're known for their fresh ingredients and high quality teas and our drinks reflected that. They have a top 10 most popular drinks which is helpful for first time visitors. The matcha tornado was the star of the show for me. It was very delicious and easy to sip. I can see why it's one of the most popular drinks. Although it's more of a smoothie type drink, it still have that milk tea type feel which is a perfect combo. Super delicious and definitely a high value drink. Parking is abundant in every direction. They have all the classics and then some specialty ones like lychee rice or mango mango. I went with the mango mango. It is a combination of mango, grapefruit, jellies, boba, coconut milk and more. Its sweet but not too sweet, even at full sweetness. On a hot socal day it really hits the spot. Honestly, it is worth a buy one get one free because the Christmas tree matcha was more of a strawberry vanilla milkshake. I think I'm always coming to this place at the wrong time. I was really looking forward to trying the longan lemon coconut drink, but they were pretty much out of stock of that entire line. I ended up ordering a peach oolong tea. It was just fine, nothing to write home about. My partner ordered a simple jasmine green tea and felt it was super bitter and oversteeped. Generally, the environment looks cool, especially with their newly added mini-photo booth, but I feel that it's always dirty (receipts and straw wrappers are constantly scattered across the floor whenever I visit). I love the Matcha Einspänner. The matcha quality tastes legit -- earthy, smooth, and not overly sweet -- and the cream on top is insanely light and velvety. The balance between the strong matcha and the slightly sweet cream makes every sip super satisfying. I also appreciated that it didn't taste artificial or sugary like a lot of trendy matcha drinks do. You can actually taste the depth of the matcha. Decided to finally give this place a try after I ran some errands at the Santa Anita Mall. I went on a Saturday is they were super busy! Lots of people inside but their surprisingly spacious interior offered a lot of seating. This doesn't feel like the type of cafe to come and work at since during their busy days it can get pretty loud with lots of people packed into the space. But it definitely feels like a good resting spot when you need a break from shopping in the mall! Theres a good amount of outlets by the seating so if you need to charge a phone this would be a good place to do it. I'm not sure if I got a good first impression of their service. It looked like they were a bit stressed out in the back, which is expected during a rush! I'm usually pretty patient, but after waiting 20 minutes for a drink I usually ask if my ticket somehow got lost or just an update on how much longer it will take. Luckily at the 20 minute mark they had called my name. I was a bit disappointed by the wait, but I would say it was definitely worth it! I ordered their Jasmine Jade Cream Foam Cha, a classic jasmine green tea with choice of foam (I chose Vanilla) and wow was it delicious! I ordered it at 100% sweetness to get a good gauge on how sweet they make their drinks, and I was surprised that it was the perfect amount of sweetness. Overall, I think the drinks here are well made and intentional with their choices. However, it can get a bit crowded and the wait can be long on busy days.
