The BOGO is only for the banana matcha drink, but oat milk subs available for 50 cents. Order was ready in about 15 minutes. The matcha is pre-mixed, but the flavor was still strong which was great. The banana cream top had good banana flavoring and not overly sweet and made the whole drink pretty creamy. I decided to come here twice since they have an ube latte. The first time I went through the drive thru which was seamless and easy. There was a wait but I anticipated that given the time I went in the morning. The ube latte was perfect and not too sweet. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The second time I did a mobile order. When I got off to get it, it was not ready. I waited another 20 minutes and when I asked again, it was being made. I ended up getting it, but it took some time. Service was super friendly, young, personable and genuinely welcoming. Da Vien definitely feels like a Gen Z hideout, but apparently their algorithm also factors in babying Bronze Aged Dawgs like me, because I felt perfectly comfortable here. The interior is clean, post-modern, minimalist and slightly futuristic. Everything feels neat, bright and intentional without looking sterile. The service and crowd are intensely young -- I may have raised the average age in the building considerably just by walking through the door -- but everyone was nice, and the entire place seemed to operate as some kind of smile-only zone. Not complaining. Just mildly astonished that you can find a vibe this pleasant, clean and upbeat. Keep it up business kids of the future! I'm impressed. YEE! A new Da Vien Coffee that's a little closer to home. This location is huge and has a drive thru as well. It used to be a Burger King years ago. The parking lot is extremely spacious. The location has huge outside patio for seating and the inside has a lot of tables for those there to study or work. It's a lively atmosphere and plenty of customers kept Da Vien busy. They offer a kiosk to order or you can order at the counter. We orders off the kiosk and it was quick and easy. You can enter your phone # for rewards points. My only issue is placing the order at the kiosk took longer to receive drinks vs going to the counter. After placing our orders on the kiosk, I think 3+ parties after us received all their orders before our drinks were ready. Not a big deal, but I'd say just order with the staff if you go. We ordered a Coconut Matcha and the Black Sesame Matcha. These drinks don't disappoint at all. I enjoyed Da Vien and have visited multiple locations. The drinks were made well and not complaints on the flavor and sweetness. This is the third Da Vien we've visited. This one is much closer to my husband and me. I imagine this one will be as busy as the others because their drinks are SO good! The difference is that this one has a drive-thru, and the drinks are prepared exactly the same. My favorite is their Sesame Matcha Latte with oat milk. The sesame cream is thick and perfectly sweet. It makes the drinks taste like a treat. It's so good! My husband ordered their Coconut Matcha. It's refreshing and has also become one of our favorite matcha drinks. The interior is modern, well-lit, and very clean. There are several tables indoors and outdoors. There are two ways to order inside - with the cashier or at the kiosk. We ordered at the kiosk and noticed our drinks took longer. Three groups of people came in after, ordered with the cashier, and got their drinks before us. Im so happy to be here today finally!! Heard lots of positive feedback from them and glad that I got to try them. First of all, it has drive through and indoor options. Very spacious parking lot so it's convenient. The BEST part is that they open super early at 6AM so it' works so well for people who work early in the morning. First time coming here to the Da Vien coffee! This place became my number one coffee spot. Out of all the coffee places I have been to, this place is the one. I would highly recommend this to all coffee lovers out there in the world! Try this place out because you won't regret it. They also have a drive-through as well if you don't want to walk in, but if you do, there's plenty of seating and the air-conditioning is running. Specially on this hot summer. This must be the closest location to us. The biggest, possibly. I've been to the Long Beach location and this one is definitely the better location. Easier parking, spacious and there's a drive through. We were having dim sum and a colleague's daughter was with him. She definitely perked up when we mentioned we were stopping by afterwards. The high school age bracket enjoy this place and I understand why. Drinks that are closer to my taste preferences and I love a variety. I've been to the other 626 locations several times, but for some reason the drinks have never tasted quite as good as the OC shops...so glad this Arcadia one opened! Normally, I get their classic vietnamese coffee but was looking for something a bit lighter and sweeter. Ended up getting the Einspanner Cream Coffee ($7 for large) and it was perfect! The staff was friendly. They came around TWICE offering complimentary samples of the Matcha Einspanner and Peach Tea. Both were delicious, although a little sweeter than my preference. I'll definitely be back to try them again with sugar adjustments. One of the biggest perks is the drive-thru. Online ordering is currently available for drive-thru pickup only. If you're ordering inside, you can either use the self-service kiosk or order directly with the cashier. This Da Vien Coffee took over the old Burger King. I myself am not a coffee drinker but my husband wanted to pick up a matcha drink for me since he was in the area. My husband came last Wednesday and ended up ordering: Ube Matcha Latte, $8 (20 oz)- This is the large size. My husband ended up ordering two drinks (one for him and one for me) and asked for a small amount of sugar (according to the label on my drink, it was 30 grams). Because I have high expectations for matcha (I would consider myself to be a matcha snoob), I usually do not order matcha at tea or coffee shops because often the quality of matcha used is rather poor and I am usually let down and disappointed and can easily make a much better matcha drink at home (just as a side note, coffee shops and tea houses that claim to use "ceremonial grade matcha" is a joke. There is no such grading in Japan if you were to purchase matcha there. Quality of matcha is in taste and often in color. Although color does not always indicate quality. Do some research so you can better educate yourself and not get scammed from other businesses). Anyways, the quality of the matcha used in this drink was okay, better than some other tea houses that I have been to, based on the taste. But I still didn't like this drink. You could not really taste the ube and the milk overpowered the matcha flavor. It really was not a nice drink for me. I would not order this again. The interior and exterior are clean unlike the Cerritos location. Price is the same as other Da Vien. Reasonably priced. The kiosk POS has a very easy reward and ordering system. It's so wonderful Da Vien keeps expanding! My favorites are the Sesame Matcha Latte and Ube Cream Coffee, but I've gotten to try a variety of drinks since there are often BOGOs and have enjoyed them all. Since I don't like my drinks too sweet, I always opt for 30% sugar and it's perfect for me. Typically, I'll order via the app for pickup, but there's also a self-serve kiosk inside in addition to the counter. All the staff I've encountered are incredibly friendly, and the drinks are prepared pretty quickly. Even on BOGO days when the shelves are piled high, the staff are very efficient and quality stays consistent. This new Arcadia location has a bright and modern interior with plenty of seating. There's also a drive-thru, and a very spacious parking lot. And I have to mention the hours, they're open everyday from 6am - 10pm! I've been to their other locations in OC so I kinda knew what to expect. I ordered the Sesame Latte which was smooth and nutty with a rich flavor like it promised and after my first couple of sips I was blasting off man! Believe me, if you fiend for some caffeine then this is definitely a dream! The service was good and it's also a drive thru so one can get their drink in a good amount of time. The parking is challenging depending on the time of day. Oh, they also have a spacious patio area if there's no seats available inside. Was happy to hear that Da Vien was opening closer to where I live so I went to their grand opening. They have giveaway bags with a tumbler, keychain, and free drink voucher in a tote bag for the first 400 lined up. I showed up early to line up and managed to make it in the 400. I was in line for 3 hours until I made it inside. I was excited to get the free drink but turned out the free drink is only for their Marble Drip and it can only be used after the grand opening and valid for 1 month. I was disappointed since their social media was advertising free drink and didn't mention anything about it only being for a specific drink and not valid until the next day. The other goodies were still nice and cute but just sad to not get a free drink when it was ambiguous- they made it seem like you get it that day and it would be for any drink and not coffee. It just felt misleading and not very honest. For that, I had to lower my rating. I still ended up ordering an Einspanner Matcha Latte just because I was already there. They decorated the interior very nicely and have a drive-through and outdoor patio seating as well. There is also a kiosk for easy ordering. As long-time loyal customers of the Rosemead location, we were genuinely thrilled when Da Vien announced a new location closer to home. We even came out the day before for the soft launch to show our support and grab some drinks, so needless to say, we were fully invested in this opening. When we saw they were advertising a free tote bag with goodies for the first 400 people in line, we made sure to show up at 8:30am, a full 30 minutes before the 9am opening and waited two and a half hours, committed to being part of the grand opening. What we never knew (because it was never advertised) was that a separate voucher system existed. Apparently vouchers had been handed out earlier that morning, and people were taking them, leaving, and coming back later to claim their gift bag without ever waiting in line. We had absolutely no idea any of this was happening. It would have been nice to have been informed out this while we were waiting in line, at literally any point. We only found out we needed a voucher when we finally reached the cashier after 2.5 hours of waiting. By that point, there were still hundreds of tote bags sitting right there- more than enough stock- but we were turned away because we didn't have a voucher that was never mentioned in any of the promotion. The cashier assisting us did not even attempt to speak with the manager in helping resolve the issue. If the voucher system had been advertised or made know, we simply would have grabbed one early and wait in line or come back. Instead, we stood in line the entire time while others who didn't wait at all walked in and collected their bags. We came out the day before, showed up early, and waited over two hours- and still left empty-handed. As fellow Vietnamese people we have loved this brand for years and wanted to support them. But misleading your most loyal, committed customers is a disappointing way to launch a new location. Hopefully they do better- first impressions matter, even to long time supporters. Drinks as usual though were fantastic as always. My favorite is the banana matcha, there is such a good balance of banana flavor and matcha- the banana does not overwhelm! Parking is very easy since there is a huge lot so no need to worry there. There's a lot of tables and seating with an outside patio as well. My daughter came home and bought me a nice iced Marble Drip one day. I thought the drink was soooo good and I asked her where it was from. She mentioned a new coffee place just opened and its called Da Vien. So today I brought my hubby to try it with me at the store. Very nice place - plenty of seats and clean. Really great service and super spacious for working! Their menu is quite big focusing on lots of cream top flavors. Their coffee is quite strong but it looks like you can adjust the caffeine level. My only note is I wish they provided more milk options behind just whole and oat milk. Their drinks also tend to lean a bit sweet so I adjust down. My family and I decided to make a stop in today as it was a very hot 100 degree day and the heat was making us all tired. I ordered ... 1. Egg Cream Coffee (4/5) The egg cream topping is well-known to the Vietnamese beverage world. I've certainly had my fair share of them. Da Vien's egg cream coffee was pretty solid, but lacked the "egginess" that is known for making this drink unique. The egg cream part was subtly eggy, but mostly tasted like vanilla whilst being very thick. The sweetness of the cream was perfect and the coffee itself was solid; rich in espresso and gave me the pick-me-up I needed. Minus 1 star cause I wish they give the option to make the drink 0% sweetness (other than the sweetness from cream part). The lowest sweetness level you can adjust down to is 30%, which makes me believe that they use coffee creamer in their drinks. I say this too because towards the end of my drink, the cup was filled with that addicting cinnamony-hazelnutty aroma that usually comes from coffee creamers. These coffee creamers naturally have added sugar to them, which would make sense as to why you cannot adjust the sweetness level down any further. 2. Strawberry Milk Matcha & Ube Cream (3/5) This one was my brother's drink. He described it as drinking Nesquik strawberry milk, but topped with a thick layer of matcha and ube cream. The drink came with matcha cream, but he added the ube cream as extra, so if became matcha-ube cream. The matcha cream had a decent matcha flavor and the ube added a pleasurable sweetness that satisfied his taste buds. Despite getting "less sweet," this drink was overwhelmingly sweet, even for my brother, who is a sweet-tooth. I'd come back again if I was in the area and really craving coffee, but probably wouldn't go out of my way as their drinks are not exceptional. I do like that they have dine-in and drive-thru options. The drive-thru option will probably be what I use if I were to come back to get a quick pick-me-up sweet treat. read more

Came around 4:18 pm on a Monday and there was no wait in the drive thru so that was really nice. My online order was already ready so that made things more convenient and not so time consuming. I tried their strawberry cream oat matcha for the first time and it was really tasty but I do have to say that the cream top was a bit thick so I had to wait for it to settle.
