This shop took over the Burger King (RIP king) so they have the infrastructure for a drive through so literally y'all can "roll" through. Ok objectively, been to this location a couple times now; during soft launch and post grand opening. Soft launch was slow but growing pains gonna be painful, but returned and pleased with the quality and speed of service. The coffee is consistent for a family owned business, on par with other Da Vien locations and the cracked out caffeine fix I need to feel the crushing weight of life again. This place deserves another 5 stars for the price point of each drink, very fair for the quality you're getting & I hope they keep up this quality & price moving forward. I was genuinely excited when I heard this Da Vien location was opening. Since I'm no longer close to their Rosemead spot, having one just a few blocks away felt like a win. I missed the grand opening here because I was out of town, but I did visit the Rosemead opening and it was fine overall. I saw some reviews from people who had a rough experience during this location's grand opening, but honestly--what can you expect when they're giving out Pokémon cards? Of course it's going to be packed, hectic, and a little chaotic. Even though I haven't stepped inside yet, I've gone through the drive‑thru twice: once during their soft opening and once after they officially opened. Both times were great. The banana matcha is amazing! I got 0% sugar and mixing in the banana cream top really elevated the flavor, creating this rich, creamy consistency that is simply exquisite. I am 100% coming back to try the other matcha flavors. I also got the egg coffee which is very strong and rich. A fantastic coffee shop and nice addition to the neighborhood. The remodeled building is nice and there is plenty of seating inside and outside. The parking lot is huge and there is also a drive thru available. I love that there are so many drink options here, and somewhat customizable to your desired sweetness. No longer a BK and now a DV!! Major upgrade also kept the drive thru!! Soft opening this weekend June 13 to test out operations with grand opening on June 27. Everything was working right. Ordered through the Mobile app, drove down said hi to friendly workers, picked up drinks they were ready and waiting for us. My daughter ordered the new strawberry cream oat latte and inhaled it so no pics but it tasted like strawberry chocolate.. so good. and of course I had to get the banana matcha. welcome to the neighborhood Da Vien! There is plenty of indoor seating and also outdoor tables. I'm sure they'll do some sort of covering but for now stay indoors it's too hot outside or wait for the sun to set and enjoy the night outside with amazing drinks and eats. Da Vien being the Asian Starbucks is a joke I always make, because of how quickly they've been expanding. No complaints at all here, the more the merrier. Vietnamese coffee is just superior and Da Vien is making it easier for people to access. I do also love their coconut matcha when I'm not feeling coffee, or a marble drip when I want something lighter. It really went from me being excited if I had an OC visit planned because that meant I could grab some Da Vien, to being excited about the Rosemead location opening, and then now my life being made even easier with this Arcadia location with a drive thru, no less. Another love is that they do promos quite often, with their ~once a month BOGOs, etc. read more

So excited that this location is closer to me and has better parking than the Rosemead location. I especially like that you can enter and exit off of Las Tunas or Live Oak. I ordered ahead on the app and the drink was ready super quickly (even on one of their Bogo days!). The inside is spacious and clean with plenty of tables to hang out or study. I wanted to support this new coffee shop, but my visit today visit was disappointing. I went through the drive-thru and told the cashier I would be paying with cash. Before even telling me my total, she rudely asked, "Where's your money?" The interaction felt unprofessional and unfriendly. On top of that, my order was made incorrectly. Mistakes can happen, but good customer service goes a long way when resolving them. Unfortunately, between the incorrect order and the cashier's attitude, this was not a positive experience. Great coffees, teas, and drinks. The service is good and the location is near other eateries, and restaurants. So, we came after a great lunch at our favorite naengmyeon restaurant. It's across the street. The wait is a bit long but worth it. It can get very busy and with all the peeps on their laptops using the free wi-fi. Anyway it was our first time and was a good choice. Dear Manager at Da Viên in Arcadia, I went to your drive thru yesterday at 2:25 PM and ordered a large Marble drip coffee , as I proceeded to pay for my drink, i also asked for a small extra cup so I could give my grandpa a small portion of my coffee so he could just have a taste of the coffee , and your employee ANGELYN V, gave me a little sauce container with a lid. The first time she hands it over , she drops it on the floor and says "opps", then I asked her if I could get an actual real cup , then says that it would be $6.50 for a empty cup . Is this how your employees are trained ? Due to this type of treatment i don't think I would ever be back here . Da viên used to be my go to place to get coffee because it's only 3 minutes away from my house but not any longer . It was spacious and with outdoor seatings with umbrellas. Eispanner coffee and banana cream latte were delicious as always. I love me a cold brew coffee straight up black and was so excited to enjoy Da Vien's cold brew, but it just doesn't hit taste wise and sometimes it's just not very good. It's a shame because Da Vien is so convenient for me. I've had the cold brew at least 6 times now and I think I might give up on it, so sad. Other than that this new location is bright, fresh, clean and the employees are extremely friendly and provide outstanding customer service! Props to the wonderful staff! I just wish the cold brew coffee was better. read more

I visited this branch on July 20, 2026, at around 2:00 PM and ordered a Large Einspänner Latte with less ice through the mobile app. I picked up my order and left without tasting it in front of the staff because I trusted the quality that Da Vien is known for. On my way to work, I was genuinely excited to enjoy my coffee, but that excitement quickly turned into disappointment. The drink barely tasted like coffee. All I could taste was milk and melted ice, with only a faint brown tint suggesting there was any espresso in it. It lacked the rich, bold coffee flavor I expected from an Einspänner Latte. What concerns me most is the inconsistency. This is not my first visit to the Arcadia branch, and unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've experienced this issue. A business should strive to deliver the same quality every single time, especially for customers who return because they trust the brand. Da Vien has built a strong reputation for its coffee, and I sincerely hope the Arcadia branch doesn't undermine that reputation by serving inconsistent products. Every customer earns their money through hard work, sacrifice, and long hours. The least we should expect is to receive a drink that matches the quality we paid for. Our family glads Da Vien opens in Arcadia. We occasionally went to buy egg coffee and matcha at the Rosemead's location. Da Vien at Arcadia customer services are exceptional. The staffs are nice and very friendly. We were one of the 400 customers got Da Vien Grand open promotion gift bags. My daughter left her promotional tumbler on the table and forgot about it. We came back and ask the Da Vien Staffs if they found it. Shelly, a great shout out, took our information and she gave us a new tumbler the next day to replace the one my daughter left at the table. Which makes our daughter very happy to have a Da Vien tumbler for her collection. Thank you Da Vien. read more

This place is pretty good and so is the service! The banana latte is very delicious, but the way they structure their drinks doesn't quite work for me. I ordered the banana latte half sweet the first time, and it was so yummy but a bit too sweet for me still. The next time I ordered it 30% sweet (listed as one of the options on the menu), and it seems if you want it less sweet, it comes with less coffee. I assume it's because it's a Vietnamese coffee base, and they have it premade and presweetened, so they just put less of the coffee. It would be way better (and 5 stars) if you can adjust the sweetness level without getting rid of the amount of coffee in a drink. It was pretty much flavored milk at that point. Their large also comes with more milk, but not more coffee, which I also think is not a great move. I also think calling some of their drinks lattes when they are Vietnamese coffee based and not espresso based is a bit misleading. I will say though, if you like sweet things, this is a great spot! Maybe not so much though if you prefer things a bit less sweet. read more

Da Vien is only about a 5-minute walk from me, so I decided to give it a try. I really liked the atmosphere--comfortable, welcoming, and a nice place to sit and enjoy a drink. The staff has a good system going already, and I can definitely see this place becoming even busier in the future. I ordered the strawberry milk matcha latte with oat milk. The presentation was great, and the drink tasted just as good as it looked. The strawberry and matcha balanced each other well without being overly sweet. Also, as a 420-friendly reviewer, it definitely passed the test. I'll be back to try more of the menu. read more

I accepted the recommendations of ube foam (30% sweet) and sesame seed (50% sweet) foam. Both were very delicious. I think both drinks with 30% sweet will suffice next time. As a loyal customer of the Rosemead and Westminister locations, I wanted to share some feedback. It seems the drinks at this location have been pretty mediocre compared to the other two. The drinks we tried were delicious, Hot Marble Drip, Hot Ube Latte and iced Ube Cream Coffee. All at 30% sugar. The Vietnamese coffee twist was great! This is a new place with a soft opening. The seevice was friendly and patient with both self help kiosk and counter staff. The ambiance is very minimalist and pretty. The staff shared this is the first large sit down location for Da Vien Coffee. Unfortunately it is filled with hard surfaces from floor to walls, ceilings, windows and furnitures. It basically is an echo chamber amplifying the already loud nonstop sounds from the blenders and other noises. It was so incredibly loud and noisy almost no one stayed long to enjoy the environment albeit there were a lot of customers and plenty of seats. The few people who brought in laptops left shortly due to noise. My parents and I were curious about this new place around the corner but we left after sipping our coffee for just a few minutes as well. The design concept was good but with such hard surfaces, it is just too noisy. I might be back for the drinks but if I'm looking for a place to either work or get together with friends, this unfortunately isn't it. I would've given it 4 stars because the drinks were descent and the staff was friendly. The wait for the drinks was okay. Not too speedy and the pick up area was chaotic. At the same time it was not painfully long either. But the loudness knocks the rating down to 3. Especially since this location is set up for people to "want to" sit down for their drinks. The space is a former fast-food restaurant and it is quite large. BTW it does have a drive through. I'll try the drive through. If it's efficient I'll likely review again and bring it to 4-stars. read more
