Stopped by Bake & Che today to take advantage of their promo and ordered the House Special along with the Chè Thái. Both were delicious! The House Special had a great mix of flavors and was fresh and satisfying. The Chè Thái was the perfect way to cool off on a warm day--refreshing, lightly sweet, and packed with a variety of tasty ingredients that made every bite fun. The staff were friendly, and the promo made the visit an even better value. If you're looking for a refreshing Vietnamese dessert or want to try something different, I'd definitely recommend stopping by. Looking forward to coming back to see what else is on the menu!

I found this on Yelp because I was craving Filipino halo-halo, but ended up with Bake and Che's house special. I ordered it 50% sweetened (honestly, I should have ordered 100%). It was very good. Their refreshing dessert was served with small ice and not crushed. It had beans, durian and jelly (yum!). It was very filling! The place is very cute! They have tables that can accommodate big groups and service was quick. I also bought packaged roasted macadamia nuts in their shells that were delicious. It's a lot of work to open the nuts so that will be my first and last purchase. I can see this place being busy and just a fun place to hang out with their refreshing dessert.

This place had a huge line! I ended up placing the order online and waited for 10 min which I thought was way faster than waiting in line. I ordered: 1x C3) BM (Three Color) Less Ice Less Sweet I loved that the ice came on the side and I was able to adjust it. I adjusted the sweetness too.

I love the quality of the desserts here. The workers are always so nice and the place is very clean.

Pretty good che (Vietnamese dessert). You can adjust the sweetness. I tried it with no sugar as it's already sweet to begin with and it's not too sweet (perfect). Ice on the side to make it nice and cold when you're ready to enjoy. The house special had durian in it, which I liked and small pieces of jackfruit.

Sampler cakes - palm sugar, cassava, pandan, taro & mung bean

I went to Bake & Che for the first time yesterday and loved it so much that I came back again today. Both visits, I ordered the Avocado Che for myself and the Thai Che for my boyfriend. Yesterday, I wanted to try some of their baked goods, including the palm sugar cake and cassava cake, but they were already sold out. I'd recommend coming earlier if you want the baked goods, as I stopped by around 7 PM on a Saturday and most of them were gone. Today, I came earlier and was able to grab their sampler, which included palm sugar, cassava, mung bean, taro, and pandan cakes. Everything was delicious and not overly sweet. My favorites were the palm sugar and pandan cakes. The Avocado Che was excellent. The avocado was incredibly creamy, and all of the jellies inside were delicious. I thought it would come topped with the green jelly pudding shown on the menu, which I assumed was pandan pudding, but mine didn't include it. I still really enjoyed it. The milk they use is so flavorful, and the drink itself isn't overly sweet. I also tried a few bites of my boyfriend's Thai Che. It was refreshing and tasty as well. One thing I liked is that you can customize the sweetness level and choose whether you want the ice mixed in or served on the side. The only downside is the size. The cups are smaller than what I've seen at other places. I believe they're around 12 ounces. The Thai Che was $7 and the Avocado Che was $8, which is typically what I pay elsewhere for a 16 ounce drink. I'd definitely keep coming back for the Avocado Che and the palm sugar and pandan cakes.

I come here for one thing only... the pandan coconut jellies. They are sooo good and only about $1.75 each. The sweetness level is not overbearing at all. I love that they each come in their own disposable container so it's perfect to buy a bunch and share! 10/10!!

Brought my grandma and I'm happy to say this spot has her approval haha that in itself should mean this review actually has 6 stars cause grandma be picky. We both got the C1 dessert, and I also got an order of the pandan durian layer cake and an order of the taro cake. The pandan durian layer cake wasn't overwhelmingly pungent with durian, it almost felt like they just brushed the cake with some durian if that makes any sense. The taro cake was delicious! I think they may have warmed it up a little and I enjoyed the bits of taro in it. We came in a Saturday afternoon and was able to park in the lot as well as walk right up to the register. I think 5-10 mins later there was a line almost to the door and all the tables were taken up. My grandma has already decided that we're coming back hahah so I guess I'll have an excuse to try something else other than the C1 dessert!

Palm Sugar Cakes (Box of 20)
    Angela L.

The palm sugar cakes were perfectly sweet and have a honeycomb mochi like texture. An order of 20 was packaged in a nice box perfect for my work gathering. Each piece generously sized. Bright and inviting space.

Service was super quick and easy to order online. If you are ordering online, they package everything to go. Ordered the flandan cheesecake (Pandan) and green thai soy pudding with less sugar. The pandan flandan cheesecake was not too sweet and had a slightly caramel aftertaste to it. It is more of a flan-like cake than cheesecake. As most of their baked goods do not require advance preparation, orders are prepared super quickly. I would not hesitate to ask for the status of your order as it may already be ready.

Tastes great for sure there are busy times and they are not busy times when they give you the specials on the text alert like the buy one get one free the lines are crazy long you might wait about an hour even when you order ahead there's a separate line for ordering ahead to check in but it does taste really good I just wish that it wasn't pricey or at least my opinion it's a little pricey but this place is trending for sure. If you give it to a older person in your family to eat you have to lie about how much it costs or else they will be shocked since we always have to lie to the older people how much things cost so they think that it's worth it and it tastes good am I the only person that does that

If you like Che this is a spot. we went to the one in little Saigon but found out they have a spot here in Rosemead took the family there one night and had Che. ordered the thai che and it was refreshing. we had the one with red bean and tasted great. you can adjust the sweetness which is good

Just curious. How many pieces of jackfruit in the Che Thai? I got 1 in my cup yesterday.

I felt like very little of anything.

Will I be able to walk in next Thursday afternoon and order a 30-piece cake box on the spot or do I need to order ahead?

I would order ahead as some items do sell out

Is Rosemad Bake & Che open already? It says can not accept orders online. Please let me know!

There open but their not taking online orders I think.

The hours are a bit limited, but I managed to make it in time to grab some pre-made baked goods to go. I got a bag of coconut macaroons, bag of several chocolate chip cookies, 2 red velvet cookies, a baked dog cookie biscuit, and a cute Keroppi sugar cookie. Most of these ended up being gifts, but I did enjoy one of the red velvet cookies and for an already sweet flavor profile with white chocolate chips in it, I was already fearing the worse, but went perfect with a glass of milk. The edges were nicely crisped by the baking too. Delicious. Love that they had a stock of cute, pre-decorated cookies available as well (some Sanrio characters, animals, etc.) They also list all the ingredients used in each of the baked goods that they have prepackaged, which is nice. The cake pick up process is very straightforward-- they just require you to bring the receipt that you got when you paid. They are on time with the cake pick up times, and the cakes always come out fresh and light! I've had the taro egg pudding, mango egg pudding, and I think the strawberry egg pudding one. The taro and mango egg pudding cakes were so yummy! The cakes have 3 layers and they have the fillings in between. The egg pudding isn't as fragrant as I'd hoped since you can barely taste it as the other flavors are stronger, but it gives the cake a nice moist layer. I also enjoy their breads. The size and price are still good and they accept card payments! Bakery is clean and organized. They have a small seating area if you get drinks and dessert and want to sit down. (FYI - they are going to open a Goomo tea shop on the corner in the same space!) D'ange has so many fun flavors of buns. I really liked the taro with mochi one. The only thing about the buns is that the fillings tend to be only on one side of the bun, so there are been times as I'm biting into the bun, I'm not getting any filling until the last couple bites. They even sell cookies and all different flavors of toast that would make some yummy brick toast desserts! And if you need a whole cake, they have them in the case ready to go too!
