A line formed right before they open with dedicated customers waiting patiently. Seating is very limited and many people take their ice cream to go. Families, young adults, teens, grandparents- people of all ages come here. Atmosphere is cool, decor is fun. I'm amazed about the flavors they've concocted. During this visit they had condensed milk, mango sago, yakult, black sesame and Vietnamese coffee. The Vietnamese coffee is spot on (I should know I'm a viet girl who gets her viet coffee from time to time). Mango sago was delicious and yakult's flavor was perfect, too! The condensed milk- I couldn't really pick it up flavor wise but I'm thankful for having it along side the viet coffee which balances out the bitterness beautifully. The consistency of the soft serve is impeccable. The topping choices are *chefs kiss*. So Asian, so beautiful. Service was great! They let you try out the flavors before purchase . Luckily they don't have a lot of options so it didn't take forever while waiting in line. I heard they rotate different flavors every week and a half or so. The location itself is super small and at times cramped depending on how crowded the events were. I did enjoy the tofu pudding here, but I do admit that their drinks could have been better. Did I ever go out of my way to get the drinks here? No. But did I come out here because they helped and played such a vital role in building a community? Hell yes. Thank you so much for the memories

I was hoping to have my own AE86 built and ready when I finally stopped by, but maybe for the new location. As an honest critique of the actual storefront, the appearance and decor is very charming. In a very bright, Japanese themed cafe kind of way. But because this is an Initial D themed drink and snack spot, I can see this being a place where mostly guys use this place as a meet-up hub. Especially for a small car meet. Very niche right? Especially for the dying breed of 1980's 1990's - 2000's JDM cars. That said, how many guys in the city could you actually get to come here regularly for soy and soy-based accessories, drinks, and snacks? The dessert was okay, and I wasn't in love with the drinks. Light, tofu refreshing, but not captivating. Personally, the menu doesn't appeal to me, since I try to avoid soy since it tends to be a pro-estrogen consumable. I don't think they had to box themselves in into being a purely tofu-only cafe. They could sell tofu products, and also have something simple but repeatedly addictive; like In-n-Out, Wurstkuche, Howling Ray's, Tea Master Matcha Cafe, Savoy, Langer's, etc. The closest idea I can think of that would be forced into tofu would be like really excellent, authentic mabo tofu, agedashi tofu, or like a karaage or Tokyo fried chicken style fried chicken with a mabo tofu dipping sauce, heavy on the ma-la flavors. Hell, I might even stop by more if they imported more car parts, from like Impulse, TRD, or Apex'i. But the way the AE86 market is, it makes more sense to sell online to the global niche. Wonderful atmosphere and mood for the Initial D/MF Ghost/Subaru to Subaru fandom. It was fun just to follow on instagram and catch a glimpse of all the influencer personalities in the car community stopping by. I'll look forward to what their next Project T(ofu) looks like. See you next time, Space (cow) boy. Oh-oh-oh. I need you babe.

Souffle pancakes in different occasions always look so pretty, are the best everyone's ever had, some some flavor profiles don't work. Maybe that's why the menu sometimes changes. For example the yuzu grape was completely bland because the yuzu drizzle on top was a thin line i couldn't taste at all. At least put a spread between each layer or pour a lot on top like the others (eg berry or mango). The mint leaves was the most potent flavor in this dish. Over the grapes, blueberries, matcha powder, yuzu. Got the mango triple layer drink this time and if you drink it carefully, you can appreciate the contrast from the mango puree, the milk, the creamy salted matcha. If you just mix it up completely you won't get that affect. One thing that bothers me is because the menu changes I seem to always be unable to get something I'm thinking of from the previous visit. I recall last time I had some mochi and rice ball I added to a drink that was so damn good and I couldn't add it this time. Though I recall that drink being $11.50 from the add ons. The souffle pancake was $21... so place is $$ but again the quality is there. Service wise, never interacted with staff really. Kiosk to order. Drinks just sit at counter when done. Didn't call numbers. Oh they did bring the pancake, no words spoken.

It is a chain and they have stores in Little Saigon as well. This is a smaller boutique so they do not have everything that the OC locations have. My go to order is the number 21 which is the 3 color or che ba mau. It is a drink/dessert that has an assortment of beans, pandan jelly (banh lot), coconut milk and shaved ice. When you get the drink it will be in layers and you will have to stir it to mix it up. It is similar to halo halo but Vietnamese. The large goes for $6.50 which is not too bad considering Bambu used to be around $8-$9 when they existed in San Gabriel before. Also the large size is huge in comparison. You line up at the food court and you let the staff know what you want. After you pull off to the side and can pay with cash or card. There are plenty of seats at the food court so go find a table and begin mixing your drink. Other desserts I like are the sticky rice, cassava and the mung bean pandan jelly. All the items are not too sweet and full of textures from the different ingredients inside.

If you like that nutty, sweet, and earthy flavor this one is for you. I could taste the coconut, but it wasn't overpowering. There were also little chunks of halva in there that added a slight bit of sweetness. The texture was similar to cookie dough, but softer. Aside from the taste, I loved the simple presentation of the small rose on top of the scoop. It made it look elegant. As you can tell, I am definitely coming back and highly recommend stopping by.
