I love this place!!! This isnt your typical tacos stand. Inside is spacious , Nice and clean. They have a room with machines to their own tacos shelves. The corn tortilas are soft The quality of the Salmon !!! Omg... so bomb. Seared on the outside but soft inside, perfectly cooked . You can taste the freshness of the seafood here. Everything tastes authentic and healthful. Would love to come back soon

Smells so nice

Atmosphere was great, the prices are very good, each day there's a different special. We got a to go order. The blackened chicken taco was delicious. The enchilada a bit dry and tamale, was good. The taste and the heat were excellent on both. My family didn't care for the Horchata even though they said they made it themselves there. What was delicious we both thought was the Mexican wedding cookies. The flan was good too. What was concerning, was having my daughter bite into her carnitas taco, on our drive home, and then telling me from the passenger seat; "There's plastic in it!" I actually pulled off the side of the road and told her that's just lettuce and she says no Dad it's plastic... when we got home we examined it. Yes it's a burnt piece of small plastic. I called up the restaurant three times, it would go to voicemail and they did not pick up. (please see pictures). not sure if I would go back because the situation was very inconsistent, in our freezer there is now an unfinished taco, with a piece of plastic wrap for me to show them (the restaurant ) next time we are driving by. If it wasn't for the Mexican cookies, being so delicious, This would've had a two star review. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Really good high quality ingredients. The flavors are always on point.

Oh Mai goodness what a pleasant surprise! I thought this place looked like where you would go to have a wedding reception not some goooood Mexican food but I was proven wrong. I got the carnitas burrito and my partner got the al pastor tacos. They both hit the spot. His had so many flavors and mine was very filling and felt like the perfect comfort food. Add in their red salsa and it became a place I'm still craving days later. The food was so good I forgot to take a picture. They also seem to sell cookies! Might have to try next time. Great service !

Beer Battered Fish Tacos

My husband and I come here every Tuesday. Their fish tacos are hit or miss but when they hit, it's worth it. Their staff are always kind and the place is clean. Their pickled carrots are my favorite and a nice little appetizer while waiting for our tacos. The hard shell chicken tacos are my second go to. Parking can be a little hectic in the plaza but we always find a spot.

The shrimp fajitas and mesa bowl were delicious and very healthy. The staff is very friendly, fast, and don't skip the salsa bar. We tend to ask for water cups and could tell the water was filtered, not tap.

King Tostada (chicken)

Taco Mesa is still my go-to. They have the healthiest and cleanest ingredients in their dishes. You are getting what you ask for, fresh and delicious healthy and clean Mexican food. I've been loving their king tostada, served on a bed of chips it's a hugely portioned taco salad. Drizzle some of their freshly made salsa from the salsa bar and *chefs kiss* I could eat this daily. If you haven't yet, you absolutely need to give them a try. Highly recommended for taco Tuesday, quick service, date night, and catering (they do it all).

Real Mexican Food. Nice location across from DMV. A little pricey but worth it. Cool outdoor patio.

El Molino de Oro's carnitas burrito is a solid, no-frills winner that hits the spot for authentic…read moreOrange County Mexican food. The carnitas themselves are the star--tender, juicy pork that's been slow-cooked to perfection with that signature crispy edge on some pieces, delivering rich, savory flavor without being overly greasy. It's seasoned just right, with a nice balance of porky goodness and subtle spices that let the meat shine. Wrapped in a large, fresh flour tortilla (they make their own in-house, which always helps), it's stuffed generously with the classics: fluffy Mexican rice, creamy refried or whole beans (depending on your preference, but both work great), chopped onions, cilantro, and a solid dose of salsa. I went with their green salsa for a bright, tangy kick that cuts through the richness perfectly, plus a dollop of sour cream and cheese for that creamy melt. No skimping on portions here--it's hearty and filling, easily a meal that satisfies for hours. At around $10 (give or take, based on current pricing), it's a great value in the area. The burrito holds together well without falling apart mid-bite, and the overall balance of textures--tender meat, soft rice/beans, crisp onions--makes every mouthful enjoyable. If you're in the mood for classic carnitas done right in a casual, bakery-taqueria spot with great salsas and a friendly vibe, this one's definitely worth grabbing. I'd rate it 4.5 out of 5--only docking half a point because it's not reinventing the wheel, but it's executing the traditional style exceptionally well. Highly recommend if you're near 728 N Tustin St in Orange! Pair it with an horchata, yum

The asada was flavorful and well-seasoned, and the beans and rice were classic. My boyfriend went with the carnitas burrito, and it was packed with tender, juicy carnitas and generous portions all around. We also grabbed a flaky pastry in the attached bakery (I didn't catch the name), but it was perfectly buttery and light. Service is always friendly and efficient, even when they're busy, and the vibe feels very local and welcoming. If you're looking for solid Mexican food with consistency you can count on, this is a must.

I used some of the mayo and fresh limes they gave me. The fish was soft and delicious. They have a house sauce that I really loved; it was not spicy and had a look of spices that reminded me of a slight Tajin taste. It went well with everything I ordered. This time I had a shrimp taco, shrimp ceviche tostada then finally I ordered a PULPO AND CAMARÓN CEVICHE tostada. This place always have a nice friendly staff and people who know what they're talking about. Wish there was a location or sister restaurant closer to me in Costa Mesa / Irvine area cus I no longer live in orange. But yes, this place is awesome. Buenísimo ! Provecho PUEBLO.

The service was extremely friendly and quick! The gentleman there was so helpful and understanding. They do charge a 4% up charge when paying with card. So cash is recommended. Cost is very reasonable and the burritos were both fantastic with salsa made in house! Unfortunately I forgot to take photos, but their quality is definitely there!
