Nice little "hole in-the-wall" kind of joint. Our bar tender was Rosie, who we came to find out is the owners sister. Beer selection was GREAT. Good selection was alright and the servings were okay, hence the 3 out 5. They play alternative type music (more hipster) which I enjoy, but I know others don't. Personally, I had the cheese tray to start (good variety) and then the tamales with the elote corn. Tamales weren't as filling as I'd hoped and the elote was very Parmesan-rich and hard to eat more than half of it. If I were to write this review based solely on the food, Strangeways would have received 5 stars. However, I'm writing about our experience as a whole, and in good faith, I cannot do that. After a foodie friend recommended the place, we decided to check it out as a post work treat. The service was HORRIBLE. Mediocre at best, but after watching a couple of regulars receive a warm welcome and attentive service it was clear where we stood. We had to beg for attention on a slow, rainy night and after hunting down the obviously drunk bar tender (I saw you take the shots, can't make it up) on a slow, rainy night, we received some kind of cheap sour blend of red wine in place of the Cabernets that were ordered. And this was after being told by the other unwelcoming bar tender that they lacked the ingredients necessary to make an Old Fashioned.... Seriously?!a supposed 40 beers available,but you're mysteriously lacking in bourbon,bitters & sugar?? Hmm... The food on the other hand was DELISH! From the cheese board to the Torta... Perfection. Complimenting flavors and variety from the cheese plate make it an ideal app or meal for two. Great presentation and ideal portions from each of the three entrees that were ordered. Beer lovers unite: great hole-in-the-wall bar in a formerly super sketchy "ladies niteclub" that was painted bright purple. I'm pretty sure people used to get shot here before the neighborhood began it's transformation a few years ago, which is one of the reasons I was so keen to try this place now. I packed my shank anyway. Just in case. They have a fantastic selection of beers on tap and even more in a bottle. They also have a great selection of micro-brews, including some from local Texas breweries like the Pine Belt Pale and Buried Hatchet Stout from Southern Star, and the Live Oak Hefeweizen, from the Live Oak Brewing Company in Austin. They also feature a number of microbreweries from all over the country. I was so excited to see beers like Breckenridge's Vanilla Porter, Oskar Blues' Olde Chub, and Rogue's Hazelnut on their chalkboard list, that I may or may not have made an "O" face after ordering. Aside from beers, they have a full bar, and our bartender made us the house special shot which goes by the name of "Free Rent". With a name like that - how could anyone resist taking one? The bartender, Rosie, is a Beer Nerd's fantasy: cute as hell and knows her beer. When I asked her questions about a micro-brew I have not tried, Rosie poured me a small sample so I could try a sip before purchasing an entire pint. Very considerate to my taste buds and my wallet: you gotta love a girl who is lookin' out for both. The play-list was everything other Yelpers have mentioned. On the night we were there I heard Joy Division, The Dead Milkman, and The Smiths. Maybe this bar has really cleaned out the riffraff and therefore eliminated any stabbings, but at least I can still hear dark and death from the jukebox. So we gave this bar another try since it gets a lot of hype. And sadly to say I tried to like it I can't get past the horrible service and drunk bartenders. I ordered the celebracion from four corners (with an employee from the actual brewery mind you) cause I know it's out of season and I won't get to have it again. It was either flat or old or something, no head no gas even my friend said it was bad. I told the bartender it's not good he literally walked away and helped someone else and said " there's nothing wrong with it" and shook his head. wtf. I was so pissed. The other bartender was drunk off his ass too. Oh and they still serve all beer in a 8oz cup unless you're a regular or know them which is unfair cause I know the 7% should be in a pint not a 8oz. Maybe being generous here, but the folks are so nice. Dropped in for Sour Power Week. The sour beer selection was a awesome. I've been chasing Ducato's My Blueberry Nightmare for well over a year. It was just as sour and powerful as I'd hoped. Any sour beer fan who misses this is missing out. This review isn't about the beer, though. We also had a couple sandwiches: Better BLT, The Mozz, and the torta. All serviceable, but it was something of a battle to actually place the order. Once it was finally placed, the guy who took my order didn't pause before taking off. Thus, he didn't know I was outside or accept my order for another delicious sour. It's also worth mentioning that the fries and homemade potato chips were way over seasoned. The fries could be dealt with by shaking off the seasoning. The weird and unadvertised garlic/truffle oil junk on the chips made them inedible. Bleh. read more

The atmosphere of the place is cool, the music is super cool, the bartender was friendly but I care about the beer. Their beer selection is impressive but they're not busy enough so that the beers taste fresh. Maybe if they opened earlier than 4pm they would move more beer thus fresher pours? The petulant, ad hominem attacks from Eric Sanchez, Strangeways owner, are even more laughable when he's also insulting the other person's intelligence. But I guess I should expect an ironically illogical response from a bar owner that sells 'craft' stale beer. When I asked Eric for a beer recommendation, he said "he hadn't tried any of them," which not only explains why he wouldn't see a problem with serving flat foamy runoff, but also explains why he can only dismiss my complaint with insults. He had the same response to other people complaining about stale beer, which leads me to believe he doesn't ever try any of the beers and just doesn't have a clue. read more

Excellent beer selection and some pretty cool house infusion shots (apple pie being my favorite). I dig the patio here despite the fact that it doesn't look like much. Why only 3 stars? Service. Its lacking and inconsistent. Especially if you're outside on the patio. Do I need to go in and order a drink? Or is a server going to come out and glare at me because I did? Menu is so-so, the items sound good, but they're average, take a while to get, and are expensive. Want a torta with your Corona Familiar? Run across the street and grab one from the taco shop. Cheaper and better. I hope this place fixes the service issue and I can re-do this, because I do like Strangeways. I always get excited about their new tappings. read more

40 BEERS ON TAP.... YES! This place is a hidden gem in the ghetto! You will drive right by it like 2-8 times (according to the group I was with)! There is a sign, but most of us agreed that you can't see it well at dusk or at night! I sat outside for like 5 min until the mosquitos ate me alive and I was forced to run inside! Parking is tight! I loved the decor and service wasn't bad at all. I had the homemade potato chips and the goat cheese things (damn what were they called) with the balsamic drizzle, really tasty with the onions. The potato chips were nice, but truffle oil is a total sham. I tasted someone's plantains and they weren't too bad. I suggest the Gravel Road beer for those who like Ambers. read more

It pains me to write this because this was one of my favorite places, but a group of us showed up for the 5th anniversary party and it was a complete train wreck. It sounded like a great idea especially since they paired it with a Ballast Point Brewery take over, but the places was completely unprepared for this. The positives were the place looked good, added some nice decorations. Ballast Point did a great job with the taps and were very friendly with the customers. After those two points, nothing else was really positive. Some smaller issues that were not deal breakers were no flights and they decided not to tap all beers on the provided Ballast Point list. As much as I wanted to try more of the beers by trying a flight or two I understood why it wasn't a good idea with maybe a large number of people coming. The reason they gave was the beers were too foamy not the large crowd number, which telling the customer beers are really foamy is not a good thing. Alos Ballast Point has tons of IPA's so if you are not a beer fan this might not be the best event for you. They did have a California Amber on their list so my non beer nerds friends had something to drink. When one friend went up to order it, they were told it would not really sell so they did not tap it even though it was on list. Is that really a good business practice? The deal breaker was how bad the service was. You have your 5th anniversary and popular beer take over on the same night, you might want to get more than 3 or 4 people working. I knew it was going to be a bad night when I got there around 7, there were about 15 people in the bar and the bartender got my order wrong. They took the order and came back 5 minutes later empty handed and said I am sorry I forgot what you ordered. Around 830ish the place was so packed that it was taking 25 minutes to get a beer. It has been a long time where I saw people at an event getting really angry. One random guys next to me was yelling does it really take 15 minutes to get a glass of water. Went to order my last beer of the night and get my check, it took 25 minutes for it to get there. When it came my check was wrong, it had two beers on there that were not mine. My choices where to wait there another half hour to get this fixed or bite the bullet and pay for money for stuff I didn't ordered. Just so I could leave the place I paid for beers that were not mine. Another friend asked to tab out and the bartender never came back at all with it. He had to go to a completely different bar tender to close out, which in total took around 40 minutes. We had 10 people in our group and if I had to guess about 75% of the people will not be back there ever again. And from the other groups of people around us last night, they will not be back as well. LIke I said above this event was a train wreck, which sucked because many people were looking forward to it. I am guessing over time I might give this place a shot again because it used to be one of my favorites, but it will not be anytime soon. One of the city's best beer bars, bar none. Looking for chic, hip, "see and be seen" atmosphere? Go elsewhere. This is a dark, dank, "pour me another to drown my sorrows" kind of bar, but in the best way possible. This is a let's drink quality (and perhaps quantity) kind of establishment. This is an "I'm tired of what everyone else has" kind of place. And it's better for being those things. As far as Dallas beer bars go, Strangeways has an unconventional selection. Their draft list, which is always on a chalkboard above the tap wall, generally features a number of Mikkeller beers, a few wild/sour ales, and generally displays enough variety to cover any kind of beer jones. Service has been very good to me and my groups on every visit. Strangeways has a healthy dose of the infamous "Toronado" vibe, whereby bartenders have no issue reminding you you don't know squat, but like you a lot when they learn that you actually do. Additionally, some of the servers/bartenders are really nice and pleasant to talk to. The owner, Eric, as always been really friendly with me. I've not eaten here, so I can't contribute to the conversation about their food. Like others, I tend to love the music selection. It's not J. Black's, with raging pop that promotes unbearable douchery. It's a low-key beer bar with shoegazing rock. Again, it's better for these qualities. Bottom line: beer selection, service, and location are good. Go enjoy a great beer at Strangeways. read more

I went on a Wednesday night with a group of friends. I happen to live on N. Henderson, and I am not a big fan of the bar scene there (there are some good places to eat, but I like my bar crowds to be less snotty and/or boring). This place is so much better, for my tastes. The nighborhood keeps it real too and hopefully deters the lame from migrating over from Henderson. Laid back, minimal, dark and cavernous. All types of folks represented. The tap selection is crazy, so I indulged my inner beer snob with some pints I've never had before, and they were all delicious: chilled right, poured right, and no off tastes. They were also relatively inexpensive for that kind of quality, most around $5-$6 a pint. My food sampling was limited. I had the grilled turkey and cheese, which had 3 different cheeses (incl manchego yum!) and turkey pastrami. A friend had the tortas. While mine was certainly good, I will order the tortas next time because it was amazing. The menu IS limited, but the selection better than typical bar food. The outside patio is a good size and is out front (facing the street), which means you can spend the whole night out there if the weather's nice. I will definitely come again. While Fitzhugh isn't quite the new Henderson in Dallas, Strangeways is leading the charge to make it a possibility in the future. Strangeways has been around for a bit now but I've been in just a couple of times. Their selections on tap are incredible and it's a great place to try something new that you've never even hear of. One thing I really like about this place is that it's actual well lit, lively but not ear-popping loud, and lot's of ample bar table seating. Every time I have been here, the atmosphere is enjoyable. It's a varied crowd and a hip place. Plus an added bonus, parking is easier than most of Henderson with side street parking as well as in the market across the street. Last night we returned to celebrate Dia de los Muertos for tequila and Dia de los Muertos face painting. We had a great time! It's a great neighborhood bar and I always enjoy returning whether it be for tequila on ice or a Timmerman's Strawberry beer! read more

Strangeways is low key with a lot of personality and a welcomed addition to the gentrified scene of Fitzhugh Avenue. With an outrageous number of beers on tap, this bar is great place to kick your feet back and sink into the darkness or live it up as a night on the town. The bar's aesthetics are nothing short of grungy, but dare I say...in a charming way? With exposed brick walls that can either be perceived as bleak and crumbling or just a simple, raw, and chic design. Regardless, it's a fun bar with genuine and laid back service, and great prices. read more

This place is the perfect example of what a laid back bar should be. The interior is bare minimum in the best way possible and it happens to have one of best most diverse selections of craft beer in Dallas. The food is also surprisingly good. If you're put off by its appearance or need bar tenders to hold your hand and wipe your mouth at every turn, go to Uptown. Sad British pop might fuel a torrid 500-day affair with Zooey Deschanel, but you might not suspect it'd launch a craft beer haven in Dallas. Named for the Smiths' final album, Strangeways didn't seem to bear that out when I visited either. Heading up to the Big D to visit some friends, I thought I'd swing by a bar in good company with Houston's Petrol Station and Hay Merchant on Draft Mag's Top 100 Beer Bar list. On the wall behind the liquor bottles, an array of large format vinyl art toys was displayed, keeping watch over the drinking masses. Having a rather large collection myself, I was immediately impressed. I didn't see a menu of bottles, but at the other end of the bar was the 40+ tap wall boasting craft beer from around the world. I had tried most of them, but I was intrigued by a flight of single hop IPA's from Mikkeller advertised on a chalkboard. Subtle hop nuances in varietals I hadn't seen before from the Danish brewery. The overall vibe was tough to put my finger on. They had some local DJ's spinning for a special event, so the crowd was a good mix of people, further complicated by the vinyl toys coupled with excellent beer. But maybe that's the point. Strangeways, indeed. Presumably named after the Smiths' final studio album ("Strangeways, Here We Come"), you will find a pretty good beer selection here for your average dive. In the larger scheme of things, the beer selection is just average. They do get plus points for having Maudite on tap (one of only two places in the metroplex I have found). Plus points for the mixed, eclectic crowd, old and young, and for some reason on the night I went, heavy on cyclists. Plus for the 80's soundtrack playing in the background (including those selfsame Smiths). Plus for an interesting patio out front. Minus for it looking out onto a somewhat spooky neighborhood. Minus for what was probably the worst parking area I have seen in awhile. Looked like the Nazis had lobbed some V-2's its way in WWII. Had to hold my wife through the lot to make sure she didn't fall. On the whole, probably more a 3 1/2, so definately worth a visit. read more

This place is ok. They have a decent beer selection and the prices are alright also. The bartender and waitress we had were nice also. However, there's just something missing. After reading all the good reviews I was expecting a bit more. I understand the need for a different type of bar off N. Henderson but just because there is one, I wouldn't rate it so highly just yet. It was indeed very laid back and pretty chill, but there was little music to be heard. The patio was ok also but again, nothing stood out to me. This is sort of a neighborhood hipster dive bar with a fantastic beer selection. I met up with an old friend here and it was perfect for that, catching up with friends. Otherwise the destination itself is just a back drop. the beer selection is great and the bartender was knowledgeable. personable and quick, he was not. I'd go back if I was near. I gotta tell ya, I LOVE Strangeways! My hubby and I go just about every other week and we're always more than satisfied! The beer selection is incredible and always changing! If you're a beer connoisseur you will be in a certified beer playground! If you have a taste for something stronger, there's are at least 20 varieties of Vodka and a slew of whiskies and tequilas to make your taste buds happy. Vince is the bartender to see, he works just about every Friday and Saturday and he know his craft beer! Let him know what flavor palette you like and he'll point you in the right direction. The food is also amazing & far better than your typical bar fare. The elote is on point and the plantains chips are a great compliment to their sandwiches. Smiths, Joy Division, Cure to name a few....been a while since I've heard a sound track I could listen to and enjoy without contributing. Scenery - the girls going here are pretty and the decor is first class if you're into street art. Divey - Its dark, its in a transitional part of town and has a general honey-badger feel. Beer - Holy Moly, the choices are amazing for bottle and draft selection. This place has a wide assortment.....that is well categorized. Vibe - the clientele is as diverse as I have seen them. Young, old, rough, cut, hip, lame...all presente. Food - Not the typical bar fare...south/central american influenced. Parking - GREAT! You can park on their lot, your motorcycle in front or at Michocana directly across the street(which they rent for patrons). Servers - Attentive; you can tell this is not their first gig. This joint is off the charts, beer wise. It was such a coincidence that the day I was browsing their Facebook page, I had run discovered that D Magazine had just rated them best beer bar. Well, that was definitely no joke. I've drinken the rivers and lakes of beer in Austin, where beer is king--and this watering hole is undoubtedly on par, if not better, than most in ATX in the selection category. Unfortunately, the individuals opening on a Friday afternoon were 10 minutes late, leaving a couple patrons and an employee out in the 100 degree weather. I was a little perturbed, and the service inside didn't do much to appease the situation. It took us a few minutes to get some service at the bar, with 3+ bartenders and all. Aside from all this, I thought that it was a fine establishment. They honestly are in possession of a dangerous beer selection, in the sense that they source upwards of 20 different breweries that I have not even heard of! On tap, no less! That alone is worthy of some high accolades. Additionally, this hipster/dark vibe is a little more unique than your typical "Dallas club/frat bar." I gotta say that the pricing is on point here. There are some beer bars in the DFW complex that steal upwards of $8 a pint. Notice the word "steal." Well, they are pretty much dancing around $5 here, so fear no more the nights of $60 tabs and $15 parking... at Strangeways you will find the end all, be all bar of your dreams, hipsters-that-have-happened-to-find-yourself-in-Dallas. Oh, and before you come here to get sloshed, make sure that you get some cheese fries from Snuffer's. You won't here having just ordered one beer... the varieties are far too great. read more

This is the best bar you can go to if you live in Dallas, the people that leave poor reviews know nothing about an enjoyable environment or good beer. I bet half of you that leave bad reviews enjoy places like the truckyard or any other stupid hipster bar you come across. Anyway, the food is delicious here, and the beer selection is incredibly large, you will have plenty to choose from and never run out of options. They always have a great selection of tunes playing, and the staff is for the most part friendly, if you're expecting to be babysat by the bartender and for them to be next to you the whole time waiting for you to order another drink this is not the place for you. So I put this place in the "beer bar" category. So let's go thru the Dallas beer bars. Meddlesome Moth - cold, pretentious. Common Table - great but quite expensive. Gingerman - wildly inconsistent, good service, but just lacking something. Flying Saucer - corporate, and usually mediocre. I wandered into Strangeways today, with low expectations. But Whoa! This is a great beer bar!!! 36 beers on tap and No Sam Adams, No Boddingtons, No Guinness, in other words, no crap on tap that your basic loser asshole would say "I drink good beer" when they are drinking high priced garbage. Southern Star, 512, Green Flash, Clown Shoes, Maui, and many more edgy beers that the typical zero would say "WTF is that?" but those who love beer would say "OMG!!!" Also, they have a creative food list, another 120 beers in bottles (including Bud and Coors - in case you have to drag a loser along with you to this place) and great service. I truly felt when I was in here that I was in someplace like Portland, with great choices, enlightened servers, and reasonable prices for the best you can get in Dallas. I am a Beer Geek extraordinaire, and would recommend this place as equal to Meddlesome Moth, and superior to Common Table, Flying Saucer, and Gingerman. read more

I have found my home, if such a thing exists in a bar setting. From the deconstructed interior and exterior to the owner's massive collection of vinyl toys adorning the walls, this place exuded a singular chic the first moment I stepped through the door. The beer menu is a sight to behold, extensive and dynamic but not laboriously overwhelming, and while I tend to keep to a couple of favorites ---Stella in a can? why yes, I think I will--- it's always nice to have options. And lest I forget, the music is the really sweet cherry on top. What's not to love about Morrissey being thrown into the mix every third song (unless you've no taste for Morrissey, of course), but for me that alone is reason to keep coming back. They could have Coors Light on tap and nothing else and the fact that Strangeways sounds as though someone had stolen my iPod is enough to have me around for a beer or six on any given night. read more

Skip Deep Ellum and head here instead! Rad bar without the pretentiousness of the other "hip" area. My boyfriend and I were visiting from Los Angeles and I'm always shocked when I see more hipsters in Dallas than I do at home. Regardless of the scene, this place has a great beer selection! We both got a flight and the bartender was really helpful in helping us choose. There were a few people out on the patio, but we were the only people inside on a Saturday afternoon, so we had great service. I was really surprised by the food menu here as well. It was a small selection, but I had the Elote and my boyfriend had the caprese stack and both were REALLY good. The boyfriend is a fan of Sour Beer, so he was in heaven with their selection here. If I was local, I would definitely make this a frequent stop! read more

We ventured out to this bar after reading about the laid back atmosphere and easy going attitude. No dress code here! A nice change from some of the other bars in the Dallas area. It is easy to miss on first drive by - the hanging sign is not lit. We u-turned and parked in neighboring parking lot. The lot across the street was pretty empty to accommodate the bar as well. 40 beers on tap is quite a feat and very fun to experience. We told the friendly bartender our typical beer likes and dislikes and he served us up a couple of samples to help us make a decision. I ended up with the Maui wheat, which had a mild pineapple flavor and then had my reliable standby - Live Oak Hefe. My husband had the 512 Imperial IPA, which is a comfortable choice for him since he drinks it frequently in Austin. So beer = good and what this bar is all about. The cocktails are there but not their strong point - our friend asked for Gentleman's Jack, which was not available. I didn't notice if they had wine. But really, you come here for the beer. The feel of the space is a deconstructed warehouse feel - exposed ductwork and the like. The logo is appropriately reminiscent of graffiti. There is exposed, weathered brick throughout and a large, open interior space decorated with some interesting toys on display in shadow boxes and shelves. Personally, I appreciate that there are no TVs - if you want TVs, go to a sports bar or stay home. I go to bars to have conservations with friends over drinks, not watch TV. There are no windows (as others have mentioned) but I think it's consistent with the overall feel and it is not to the bar's detriment. The patio is lovely on cool nights - picnic tables within and planters securing the space. The surrounding scenery leaves a little to be desired - meat market, laundromat, gas station, car wash . . . but that will change as the area continues to be rebuilt. The waitstaff was fun and helpful. The crowd was friendly and already full of regulars. The music inside was good, but a bit too loud to have a conversation without raising your voice. How cute are you with your magical little patio lights and picnic tables, Strangeways? My first time was Sunday. After partaking in the Bike Friendly Oak Cliff tweed ride (check check check it out http://bit.ly/usWAxJ), we were thirsty. Especially since it turned into a 20+ mile trek through East Dallas, downtown, OC, and back. First of all, props on the bike racks, other dallas establishments take note. Second, props on the service. It was a sunday night so it wasn't crowded, but our bartender was friendly, quick, and actually made conversation. Tons of beers on tap, and by the bottle and can - we downed goldminers. I don't know why, my friends told me to. So I did. Definitely want to go back and test out some of the other brews. Just don't go meandering around in the dark. Fitzhugh is up and coming and Henderson is great but you need to be aware of your surroundings. Looking at you, ladies. p.s. OK, so now I'm a regular at Strangeways. I'm going to do a pros and cons list to keep it simple. Pros: - Really good beer selection - Never all that crowded - Good "vibe" indoors and outdoors on the patio - Good music - Diverse crowd(in a good way) Cons: - I'm not knocking any of the staff personally but the service here is slow at best. Usually there just seems to be one person working the bar on weeknights and therefore things are slow and you have to go to the bar to get anything. - Really good beer selection but written on a chalkboard not providing you with any idea of what you are ordering(unless you recognize the beer). They have some beers I've never heard of which is great, but the only way to know what they are is to track down a bartender for a description or a sample which can take a while. I've been here often enough now to expect slow service and to have no clue what 90% of the beers are so I've come to terms with that because everything else about this place is so great. read more

I got really hyped up to come here after all the 5 star reviews but I still don't understand why this place is so special. They have a large selection of beer and cocktails but so do a lot of other places nowadays. They have a patio but it's not particularly large or unique. Inside is typical and the walls just have a bunch of writing all over the them. We came here on a night when they advertised live music and there was no live music. The service is really nice and the prices are decent. Eh, nothing special. read more

I love this bar! I've never had a bad experience here. On slow days, sometimes the service can be a little slow, but it's nothing that's really a bad time. More time to sit on the awesome patio! I just love this area of town, so it's nice to just sit and chat and drink and people watch. The bartenders have been super patient with me when I was unsure of what beer I wanted to drink, giving me samples and walking me through recommendations. Also, they have AMAZING food- the hominy is my favorite, but the cheese plate is really good, too! I'm going back tonight so I can try Andrea G's recommendation of potato chips with parmesan You should definitely check out Strangeways if you're a beer fan. I do not like crowds and my work schedule doesn't allow me to go out on weekends, so I came here last Tuesday. It was nice and quiet. There was a lady who seemed really intoxicated with a pet goat. There was good music. Very chill patio. Someone was even studying, I think. The beers I tried were awesome. I was completely overwhelmed by the selection, but the bartender was extremely helpful. I gave her what I was looking for, she gave me a suggestion, and it was tasty as hell. The beers were about $6 a pop, which could get pricey for someone looking to get puzzled. Really excellent selection though - which is what they're known for, I guess - and it's constantly rotating. I think I like it better than some of the other bars I frequent in the area, just because there's like 10x less douchebags. read more

Love this place! From the "strange" parking to the collection of "strange" dolls above the bar to the awesome 80s music they are always playing (The Smiths) to the amazing food! Yuca fries and elote were delicious! I think we found our new hangout spot :) read more
