They were very busy for a Thursday. Despite how busy it was, everyone was so friendly and working super quick to get everyone their drinks/food. The avocado toast was very fresh and just the right amount of food. No complaints there! I also loved that they gave me a glass cup for my order. Something to note: the seating can fill quickly during their busy waves but I got lucky with a seat outside then moved instead once it settled down. Lots of parking in the back as well (you can also enter through the back door)

Good Mythical Morning! Let's talk about that…read more I always think of Good Mythical Morning when seeing Mythical Coffee. That said, I don't think Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal are involved with this adorable coffee shop. I digress! I recently ordered the Bourbon Peach Latte with oat milk ($6.50 + $0.75 for oat milk), Blueberry Pie Latte ($6.50), and a Breakfast Sammy with ham ($8). The Bourbon Peach Latte is a seasonal summer drink. It features caramelized sugar, simmered bourbon and heavy cream, real peaches, vanilla bean paste, and a touch of salt. You also get a cute peach gummy ring on the side. The Blueberry Pie Latte is another seasonal summer drink. It includes espresso, blueberry pie syrup, and milk, topped with cream cheese cold foam and a cinnamon graham cracker crumble. Honestly one of the best variations of a blueberry drink I've had at a coffee shop. My favorite blueberry-anything at any coffee shop actually. As for their Breakfast Sammy, it had garlic aioli, egg, ham, avocado, cheddar cheese, and Everything Bagel seasoning. You can definitely taste the garlic in this sandwich. It was a great way to start my Saturday after spin class. I totally ate back my calories but no regrets. If I were Benson Boone, I'd say that Mythical Coffee was mystical, magical. Two thumbs and a moon beam ice cream up!

I'm glad they're on the permanent menu. It looks like they also have a rotating seasonal menu as well. Between the two, I would probably favor the berry cobbler with espresso. The one with matcha was a little sweet for me but I believe you can ask for it half sweet so that maybe would've helped. This location had some seating indoor and outdoors. The baristas were really nice and the drinks came out pretty quick!

It was refreshing and the strawberry helped balance out the matcha taste, it was noticeable but not overwhelming. I would love to try some of their other fun drinks. Overall great coffee shop if you are in Downtown Gilbert!

Everything about it just feels right -- the vibe, the people, and especially the food. You can tell they actually care. The staff is super welcoming and generous, not in a forced way, just genuinely good energy from the second you walk in. Food-wise, they don't miss. The honeycomb with cream cheese inside is insane -- sweet, rich, and something you don't really see anywhere else. The Dubai chocolate latte is a must-try too, super smooth and indulgent without being over the top. The beef samosas are perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, and the chocolate pistachio croissant is easily one of the best pastries I've had in a while. Honestly, every time I go I end up trying something new and it's always solid. You can tell they put real thought into everything they serve. Definitely one of those spots you keep coming back to.

So we chose to go here on the way to accomplish some errands and well, it was disappointing. The Schtick is supposedly Turkish Style Coffee with Yemeni beans? Are they actually getting coffee beans out of Yemen right now? The menu didn't really feature Turkish Style Coffee as the forward offering. The employees were not rude or anything, but they, they were slow at making coffee. They also didn't know how to make coffee either. Pulling and espresso shot is easy, pouring a latte is not. and Moka & Co brewed a Cortado that was clearly just an espresso shot with some steamed milk glopped on top...which I've had that happen before at places that only have paper cups. BUT if you care about brewing coffee, you will pour a microfoam head in paper just as you would in ceramic. What's worse is that the coffee just tasted like dirt, if this is Yemeni coffee, it's bad. Seemed like there was potential here, but it was a waste of a morning when there are so many great coffee places in the core, we just need more of them in the East Valley. Unfortunately Moka & Co is just marketing and not a quality coffee shop.

My husband orders a breakfast sandwich while I don't just like but LOVE the avacado toast. If available, we take our coffee and sit outside on the patio. The coffee is full bodied and delicious. My husband is a hot mocha guy. They have ice water at the front and in their spacious backyard seating area. It is a dog friendly destination. We enjoy seeing the wide variety of furry regulars. There are free treats for them. The service is consistently friendly and on top of their game. They really know how to move a line but you never feel rushed. They offer a points/ reward program for purchases which is always nice. When I asked my husband about cost he said it is so good he didn't even look! I checked our transaction history. For both of us including tip it was around $44- very decent in this day and age for such high quality. What a gem in Downtown Chandler!

My friend and I both ordered mediums with 75% sweetness, and it was the perfect drink for a hot, humid summer morning. Sweet enough to feel like a treat without being over the top. We also ordered matching bagel sandwiches. I do wish they offered a turkey bacon option, but the sandwiches were still hot, fresh, and delicious. The real star was the mayo aioli. I could probably put that on just about anything. The vibes are wonderful too. It's cozy, welcoming, and the kind of coffee shop where you want to linger with a friend for a while. My only critique is the layout of the front room. There always seems to be a line, but there's not really a good place for it to go besides in front of the entrance and the water station. It turns into a lot of "excuse me" and people weaving around each other. It's definitely a good problem to have because they're clearly popular, but I hope as they continue to flourish, they're able to expand into a larger space or rethink the flow a bit. Either way, I'll absolutely be back. Just save me another coconut brown sugar latte.

The food is legitimately really good, always piping hot, delicious, and their coffee is excellent. But man... it is getting harder and harder to ignore the fact that this place desperately wants to be Scottsdale without actually being in Scottsdale. There is a level of pretentiousness walking through here that deserves its own parking space. People are not just coming in for breakfast they are coming in to be perceived. I am half expecting someone to walk in and announce, "Sorry I am late, my personal brand meeting ran long." And the gym clothes... THE GYM CLOTHES. I work out too. I just do not feel the need to wear my workout clothes everywhere like I am on my way to the Olympics. Meanwhile, people are walking around here dressed like they just completed a 90-minute HIIT class, despite the fact that their biggest athletic accomplishment today was finding a parking spot. And listen, I am all for confidence. Wear what you want. But some things should remain between you, your mirror, and your close friends. Not all body part's you own need to make a public appearance. At this point, their burritos are more covered up than some of the customers. Their dress code is now: Athleisure + confidence + absolutely no fear of exposing an entire area of their body. Anyway... back to why we are actually here: THE FOOD. It's fantastic. Always hot, always delicious, and the coffee never disappoints. That is what keeps bringing us back. But if they start reserving more of the already-limited seating for the Scottsdale Influencer Association, I may have to draw the line and take my business elsewhere. I came for a burrito--not a live-action audition for Real Housewives of Gilbert. Great food. Great coffee. Just please keep the Scottsdale cosplay, reserved-table nonsense, and unsolicited anatomy exhibits to a minimum.

I'm a big Cortado guy and they have one prominently on the menu. We've been here a few times and each time my wife's flavored latte is quite lovely, but would it be if it wasn't iced? The service is pleasant, the cafe itself is clean and cute, they have a restroom for patrons. But when it comes to pouring a Cortado, they don't know how to do it. It's just some steamed milk dumped on espresso in a paper cup. Any time a barista puts a cap on your cup (paper cups are generally a bad sign, but some are very good, but still not as good as glass cup poured versions) it's clear they intend to hide the lack of microfoam head, the art itself is how you build this drink. The pastries are great. I've wanted to like this place really because of the story, but if you're really into espresso there are so many better options than Cosita.
