After a rough night, my eyes couldn't stay open at 11am. I needed a caffeine pick me up. I searched for a coffee shop nearby and I found Coffee Rush. I was expecting a small coffee shop. I was pleasantly surprised with how big it is. It's a proper cafe with 5-10 tables, each for 2 people. Plenty of space, so no knocking elbows with their neighbor. The music wasn't distracting and I saw a few people working on their laptops. There were some periodicals. It gives old school cafe vibes where people sit and enjoy a coffee with a friend. The barista was friendly and eager to engage in conversation. We talked about the calming ritual of making coffee for a few minutes. They offer an extensive coffee and drink menu, and they have a lot of pastries to pair with your coffee. I ordered a skinny vanilla latte. It was delicious! read more

I drive 15 minutes out of my way to support this coffee shop because I believe in what Yani has built and want to continue supporting it. That said, today's experience (Sunday) was unacceptable. The staff member working was rude, dismissive, and gave the clear impression she did not want to be there. The interaction felt uncomfortable and completely out of line with basic customer service expectations. This is not a small issue--it directly impacts the customer experience and the reputation of the business. This needs to be addressed, whether through retraining or reconsidering staffing. I will continue to support the shop because I value it, but experiences like this make it difficult. I hope this is taken seriously and corrected. read more

Not only is the coffee amazing, you yet to choose flavors, sugar free, or prefered milk. The costumer service is outstanding the owner is there every time i have visit the coffee shop and he has got to remember our preferred order. You fell at home, welcomed. This used to be my favorite coffee place back in the day. Some things have changed. It wasn't even busy when I walked in and now it makes sense. I walked up and it was two ladies complaining about how they're tired. Sorry, but people are up all night and work. They do what they gotta do. I don't know if it's this new generation but provide good customer service and don't get attitude if a customer misunderstand what you're saying. Tried my drink and it was way too sweet. The latte it self has a good flavor but the customer service is horrible ! I tried to order the frost latte and didn't want whipped cream so I asked for cold foam as a substitution but they denied my request. When I asked if possibly I could as I have the day prior the barista refused and stated they are not allowed. The drink is made the same the only different would be no whipped cream and they would just put cold foam. I'm not sure what prevented this barista from doing it but it's just unfortunate as the taste of the coffee is good their customer service and refusing to provide something at the request of a customer is just crazy. And this was on a Sunday if the same person works Sundays I would recommend to stay away. read more

I stopped here for an afternoon pick me up coffee and it was delicious! I ordered the Carmel nut coffee and it was sweet, even with oat milk instead of regular milk. They also had different granola bars, muffins, and pastries available to purchase for snacks. love that the employee asked me if regular milk was okay for my drink. I almost didn't order oat milk, which is better on my stomach, because I wasn't thinking and his question was so kind and helpful. The drinks are affordable but very high quality. The inside has plenty of tables for getting work done. There were also tables outside for those who ordered something, which was specified on the door. Very quick and friendly service on a Sunday morning. For two people working at 10:45am, they crushed the line of about 8 people. Love the outdoor patio with the fountain. I've been to many coffee shops throughout the valley and across the country. Coffee Rush is like going to your great uncle and aunt's house. The furniture is dated, you can tell they are just getting by. However, being your family there is a sense of home despite its outward appearance. We arrived after the morning rush, the cafe had a decent amount of folks hanging out and talking over their coffees. With a few people ahead of us, I noticed the cashier would take the order and the barista would whip it up before check out was even done. That's what we call in the industry fast service! I ordered the tuxedo blended iced coffee. Let's just say it didn't last long. One thing I did note and was really surprised with was how smooth the drink was. It had a fantastic consistency to it. Sometime when ordering a blended coffee drink is it can be too icey and not smooth all the way through. This one reminded me more of a milk shake which I appreciated. While I may not be stopping in Coffee Rush to work or even meet with people as a personal preference. I do see my self stopping into any of their locations for a coffee to go. read more

Took photos and about to share on social media as a recommendation And then a man lit up a cigarette and it permeated the whole patio and I went from euphoria to miserable! So just know they allow smoking in the patio and it will ruin the whole experience for you if you don't like cigarette smoke with your ambience A no smoking patio would make me change this review to 5 stars. Service here always top notch. Friendly confines. The look is not going to be the clean cut Starbucks modern coffeeshop look, but its going to have the ambiance of a small local coffee shop with internet and chill music. Coffee selection is good, their cold brew I enjoyed thoroughly, same with the Americanos. Never big on their food selection, but I don't judge them on food because what they have isn't really for me and they aren't a restaurant, its a coffee shop. They have patio at this location which is a great place to enjoy coffee (assuming its not summer in Arizona, although there is plenty of shade. For you lazies, there is no Drive-Thru, so you will have to exit your vehicle for coffee. That being said, I've never been disappointed in the product and will always make my way there when I'm in the area and need a coffee fix. read more

Was in the East valley today and had to try out this local chain! This location was bigger than expected and definitely had a chill laid back vibe. There was a bit of a line but the two baristas worked really quickly and efficiently together. I got an almond milk iced cherry mocha without while cream. It was a little watery and the espresso tasted kinda burnt, left a bit of a bad aftertaste but not terrible. Was not priced too bad compared to other places I've been. Would probably order something else next time but I am glad I tried it! read more

Dropped by Coffee Rush when I was randomly craving an iced coffee and was pleasantly surprised by my experience~ I grabbed an iced vanilla latte and a "deadly soda" for my friend and we both really enjoyed our drinks. The deadly soda -- aka mango and passion fruit italian soda -- was super refreshing and so ridiculously delicious. I would highly recommend that you try it even if you're swinging by JUST to get coffee! My iced latte was great, not too sweet with a good coffee flavor. The prices here are super fair for what you get which is an added benefit as well. Additionally, there's also a stamp card you can grab for prospects of a free drink in the future. Parking is pretty easy within the complex and there are plenty of surrounding spaces even during busy times. I got the Mint Mocha blended and I absolutely loved it! It tasted exactly like thin mints, which is exactly what I was hoping for! I'm not a coffee person, so I was honestly surprised by how much I enjoyed this. My girlfriend got the Caramel Nut Latte iced. I didn't like it, but she said it was pretty good. Not the best coffee she's had, but it was up there. Best thing about this place is the service! The two baristas we ordered and talked with were super friendly and helpful with getting us what we wanted. Came back recently and tried their coffee again and sad to say the coffee is still absolutely terrible like before. I don't know where they source their coffee beans but it's consistently sour and burnt tasting. The ambiance is dreary and shab. The service is the redeeming factor. Pretty nice folks who work there. The young Asian man working here is both a jerk, and a racist. I came in to order with one other person. The menu is on the side of the wall and difficult to read from the cashier area. My friend went over to read it closer. Nobody said anything to her and she was there for approximately 2 full minutes. However, the very second I stepped foot over there, that jerk screamed to me "HEY! YOU CAN'T BE OVER THERE!" I said "I'm just trying to read the menu, do you have a paper menu I could read instead?" He said "NO, GET OUT OF THERE NOW" This was not some secure area with money and valuable items. It was next to a refrigerator with milk in it. There were no signs anywhere visible that said "employees only". Why did he have to be extremely rude to me, yet didn't care when the pretty Asian lady went over there? Answer: jealousy and racism. He could have nicely asked us to come around the other side, but he chose to inflate his small ego in front of his peers. After we walked a few feet back, I said "You didn't have to be rude about it. Maybe you should put up a sign that says Staff Only." Then he proudly said "I don't have to serve you on MY shift!" And he refused to let us purchase coffee. He demonstrated a great way to lose two customers for life, and hopefully many more customers who read this. There are so many better, friendlier coffee spots in town where they appreciate and value their customers. Don't waste your time here. read more

My goto order is a sf black and white, but honestly all the sf are great! From the caramel macchiato to white chocolate to vanilla latte, if your sugar free you won't be disappointed and stuck with just a few choices. Been coming here for many years with my family and have always loved it. Unfortunately, they keep changing their coffee powder to their own blend which is disgusting. It not only has a weird earthy taste but it makes the blended drinks extremely foamy and they seperate. Honestly love love love the vibes of Coffee Rush. The drinks here are always solid and reasonably priced, and the baristas are positive and helpful. The real star is the environment. There's ample seating both indoors and outdoors for studying or chatting. I've stayed there for hours just catching up with a friend, and you never feel pressured to leave or move on. I never walk into this place and feel unnoticed or unwelcome. They are so quick to address you and say hello always. The staff is kind and polite and that alone is a reason to go back here instead of other coffee places. I work in another store in the plaza and that's probably another reason why this has become my coffee place. They have a point reward system / stamp card that helps you earn free drinks. Their drinks are so amazing and wonderful and I don't even really drink coffee or fancy beverages. Today 2 of the employees treated me to a drink due to a situation that i.... helped clean up haha.
