I go to Coffee Rush in Chandler often and made my first visit to this location in Gilbert. It is a little smaller and doesn't offer the late hours like their other two locations. But they have the same products and the service was nice. I have always enjoyed the community feel that Coffee Rush promotes. It has always been my late night hangout spot to meet with a friend or just read a book. Coffee Rush Rush offers a variety of coffee drinks, teas, Italian sodas and chillers. For snacks, they have baklava and muffins, I like my coffee strong without flavors and always get a latte or a red eye. There are a few unwritten rules at Coffee Rush. Just remember that this isn't Starbucks. So try leaving the Starbucks terminology at home. They also don't allow outside drinks and there is no hanging out without ordering a drink. read more

I was in the area and from a long afternoon of work meetings and catching up with an old friend, I needed an extra dose of caffeine. The location is very welcoming: well lit, spacious, indoor and outdoor seating, feels homey due to the photographs. My friend and I were greeted immediately. Love the coffee and super cute inside! I have been here a few times and never had to wait super long. Staff is very friendly and the prices are competitive with others in the area. They have tons of options but I stuck with a flavored latte. I usually get it to go but there is plenty of seating if you wanted to sit and enjoy. Parking lot is big so no issues there. First time Coffee Rush customer this morning. Coming from a coffee lover - AMAZING! Customer service was fantastic. I ordered a 32 ounce iced americano with tiramisu flavor and cream. The espresso is smooth, not muddy tasting at all. Super large selection of flavors. Usually I stick to hazelnut or toffee nut. The tiramisu flavor was not overpowering what so ever. This place is amazing! They opened super early so I was able to get my families coffee orders at 530am. Zachary was so friendly and chipper. We had a great conversation as he made our drinks. They have unsweetened coconut milk as well, which is a Miracle! The shop was large, clean, and had lots of space to sit and relax. The drinks taste great. I've seen bad service before, but today I witnessed an extremely uncomfortable event. The owner of this place yelled at a younger girl over something completely trivial (she had an outside drink with us while we were in the cafe and I was a paying customer). This was completely unethical and shameful. The cafe was not at all busy with many empty tables inside and all outside tables empty. The owner was loudly shaming her and it was uncomfortable for everyone else that was in the cafe. Even the other employees felt that the owner was overreacting. I think that owner is in the wrong business if this is how he talks to his regular customers. It's never okay to humiliate someone over a petty policy that they weren't even aware of in the first place. read more

I problem with the coffee shop is not the coffee. It's pretty good. Nothing incredible. They have a nice selection in the bakery department and there is enough space for people to find chairs albeit not very comfortable ones. my issue is the Wi-Fi situation situation. It's kind of crazy how difficult it is to get on the Wi-Fi. While every other coffee shop in the valley gives free Wi-Fi or one password for all devices, you have to first stand in line, get your drink, on the receipt will be a Password to get onto the Wi-Fi and then it will take you to a login page where your receipt will have a custom username and a custom password. It is only good for three hours and you need to have a receipt for each device. If your children ever want to do their schoolwork here, they will need to use your personal hotspot because the loading page is censored by schools. It's definitely a customer service gap that can be easily remedied by investing in a better Wi-Fi system. This place is OK but I wont be coming back with my crew. read more

This place is so awesome! I mean look at the pictures on the wall, they mean business and they sure are good at it. one of my girls took me here before i hopped on the plane back to CA while visiting her. OMG, the customizations of your drink and options are endless... but that is just the beginning, they sell all types of drinks including teas and smoothies. The barista was super helpful and was able to help me order my drink to perfection. I got the min mocha fully loaded. Super flavorful and super tasty. I can't wait to try the other drinks here too! I've had the baklava and they were also quite tasty! The next time I come into town I will ask her to come here every morning while I'm staying with her. Came in today a little worried that coffee shop studying was no longer a thing...thanks to COVID. As soon as I walked through the doors I was greeted with open arms and a smile! (Well I could tell he was smiling underneath his mask ) The owner knew every persons name that walked in and even through the craziness of frappes being blended and espresso shots being brewed, he took the time to ask about their days & knew everyone's drink! They have markings on the floor for safety of social distancing - I love businesses that take health and safely seriously! I USED TO be a loyal customer at this location for the past two years, until today when the man who I believe is the owner treated me incredibly disrespectfully and rudely. I came in around 1:30pm and the woman working took my order. I sat down and drank my coffee while working for 20 minutes. At this point, my friend arrived to meet me. I went outside and was gone for three minutes at most. We then went to walk inside and sit before our nail appointment and my friend had an outside beverage with her.. in which the man aggressively and loudly shouts at us as we walk in "are you ordering something? No outside drinks." I politely explained that I had just ordered a drink (which I finished thus didn't have the cup) and he says "that doesn't look like a cup we serve here" to my friend. I then turned to the woman working who made my order and said "i literally just finished it and walked outside briefly. Ask her" -- while she did agree, they very rudely asked us to leave. Since we had about 10 minutes until our appointment, we sat at the table outside in the shade since it's 100 degrees out and I'm pregnant, in which the woman must have then been told by the owner to make us leave because she came outside and aggressively said "this is also our table with your outside beverage and you can't sit here." I have spent an unnecessary amount of money and this coffee shop over the past couple years and while I understand my friend had an outside beverage, I was indeed a paying customer and if that is the rule, there is still a way to talk to people and not accuse them of not buying a beverage. This was my last visit to coffee rush. By the way, there were about two people in the overall coffee shop so it's not like we were taking up needed space. Maybe there would have been more people if the owner wasn't so rude. read more

This is a really nice location to study! They're pretty much open for all hours that any humanly person should be awake (5am-midnight). That's pretty much my first criteria when I'm getting ready to crank out some serious cramming. Environment was cool (see pics) & I liked that there were leather seats as well as regular chairs. The plants were a nice touch. I didn't step outside, but there were a lot of people studying out there (I think...smoking as well?) Coffee - this is where I really liked Coffee Rush! There are so many options I was a little overwhelmed. The barista helped me out right away with some of the most popular items on the regular menu AND the secret menu. I'm not 100% sure what I got off the secret menu - it was something described as "liquid Snickers," with caramel, hazelnut, and I think vanilla undertones? I got it half sweet which was perfect if you don't like too sweet coffee (maybe even 1/4 is doable). I think they do have options to make it half black if you like it stronger/less sweet. Only thing I wish I could change are the food options - I'm not a huge pastry person, but if you are they do have some! I definitely will be coming back here to study! read more

I've only been here twice; once to go, once I stayed to work on patio. This is a great coffee shop with excellent service. I noticed the barista greeting several patrons by name and that was an extra that goes a long way these days. There is also a nice patio and the ONLY reason I gave this 4 and not 5 stars is they allow smoking. In my college days of puffing a pack a day camel lights, I would've given this a 20 Star rating, but I'm over second hand smoke as I grow older. Inside was a little chilly, so I hung around until it got too hot outside, but the free WiFi lasts for THREE hours so that's just about right. The other major difference between this shop and others is the amazing amount of places to plug your devices into! Even the patio wall has built in outlets. Such a key component to coffee shops that is often missed. The espresso here is decent, but in an effort to speed service up, both times I've been here it had been already made and was sitting in its cups. Not a major deterrent, but to be noted for the hardcore aficionados! In short, you won't be disappointed with your stop at a Coffee Rush. read more

Friendly, helpful, talkative - Excellent!! #2 They have crème de menthe so we could have a great iced chocolate mint coffee and the barista was not bashful on the flavorings. Found this place on Yelp while searching for new study spots in the area and stumbled upon this place. This place has plenty of seating, plenty of outlets and there's even outdoor seating and outdoor outlets against the wall. There's a 3 hour time limit on WiFi, so if you plan to stay longer than that you might need to go somewhere that offers unlimited free WiFi. Big tables against the wall if you need a lot of space or want to work with other people, or just to hang out. I thought the coffee tasted mediocre, but it may have been because I tried to venture out and try their sugar free options. Service was okay as well. Relatively quiet and not too busy, most other customers were also studying. Lots of parking available and late hours (open until 11 pm). read more

My son is absolutely in love with their iced chai tea, he inhaled his and out of respect for me is only sipping a little of mine at a time. It's hard for him to actually like a coffee place as he is 12yrs old but he is really liking this place which is nice because it allows me to catch up on some work. The place is clean. Extremely shocked on how I was treated today. As a new costumer, when I walked in I really liked the decors and decided to work from here and call my clients over who live across the street to have a coffee with me and chat. When I arrived I thought I was going to just pick up a coffee and leave, but I decided to stay instead, while I was ordering my coffee the owner asked me if I could move my car since I was parked in the pick up only parking spot, understandable, so I did. When I moved my car I noticed I had a Starbucks coffee cup full of iced water so I decided to take it with me, thinking they wouldn't mind right? When I sat down the barista came up to me and told me about their POLICY of not having any outside food or drinks, again understandable, so I threw it away. When my clients got there, we sat down and started going over some documents... the barista then brought us a menu, rushing us to order something. We then looked at the menu, knew what we were going to order, but kept on talking. 5 minutes had passed and the barista came back to let us know that the owner wanted us to know about their policy in which more than half the table had to be drinking something. This coffee shop doesn't care about gaining long term costumers, all they care about is trying to squeeze in one more coffee cup a day. If I were you, I'd drive right across the street to Starbucks where you'll be able to enjoy your coffee peacefully! read more
