To keep it short, this is not one of my go-to Starbucks'. It is usually very busy and the small parking lot is always full, and good luck finding street parking. The service is very friendly but they are inconsistent with the drinks. I will order the same exact thing and one time it will be good, the other time not so much. I work really close by and the night staff is always pretty friendly. Of course, they are sick of the rude people talking on their cell phones and holding up the lines....but if you are understanding and friendly, of course they are too! As far as coffeehouses go, this Starbucks is the closest thing to a library as you can get! Upon entering, I couldn't help but notice that everyone was doing their own thing and there was absolutely no conversations. If there was anybody talking, it was very low key. The store is no eye-candy and is rather small with a few tables, chairs, and sofas. It's pretty clean, orderly, and the baristas were pretty friendly. Small parking lot available in the back. Location is away from the busy noisy part of Glendale, which is ideal if you want some quiet time but it's totally out of the way of everything else. read more

I seriously prefer this Starbucks to the other one on Pacific that you can never find parking at. It would be perfect here if it was just a tad bigger with more places to sit. At times the wait is long, the line is long and the people that work here are just plain slow, especially when I have my daughter in tow, it isn't fun. However, the barista here does remember you if you go in enough and the gal behind the counter was nice enough to come take my cup and filled it with iced coffee before I was even able to tell her what I wanted, she remembered what I wanted when I was there earlier in the week. This location was super crowded at 10 am in the morning. There were about 25 people in line when I walked in, although I probably waited no more than 10 min to place my order. When I went to put milk in my coffee, the self service table was a mess, with trash everywhere and no more coffee stirs/sticks, so I had to use a straw. I stopped by this Starbucks a few days ago, it was convenient and on my way. I order my usual (Starbucks doubleshot) typically I can tell when coffee has been sitting around all day mainly because I am an extreme coffee fanatic and usually that's what they serve, the coffee here was so incredibly fresh! This wasn't early in the morning either it was well past 7pm, it was the best doubleshot I had every had! The staff was so friendly too, Armen took our order and E made our drinks! This has been my real regular store for the past six or seven years! Since they opened. I absolutely love the morning staff. They are the bestest! Now some left, some moved and some are still there. I will miss them since I will be moving to Burbank. The store is ALWAYS clean. They are always courteous, even when super busy. There is always parking, and usually seats available, inside and outside. Just a lovely corner coffee shop, with excellent drinks. They get my fix right everytime! My experience could be even better, by the stuff here is really forgetful and slow. They are polite guys, no worries about that. But slow. Wow I must say its very rare to have experience such exceptional customer service like how I did today. All credits go out to Julianna! I called this location to double check if they were still brewing the blonde coffee and Julianna said ofcourse and even went out of her way to brew a fresh batch for me. I told her that my mom would be picking up the order and she still went ahead and made it for me. It doesnt just end there. My mom comes home with a smile on her face and was like did you know her? I said no but she was so sweet and she was like yeah she said the drinks were her treat. I was shocked, not because the drinks were free, but the fact on how one person can be that overly sweet with me just calling and asking a question. Even if the drinks werent her treat, I would have still wrote a great yelp review for her going out of her way to brew a fresh batch for me. This asian guy barista looked past an asian lady, right in front of him, by the cashier. He tiptoed to reach over the pastry counter, and fist bumped a white guy and asked for his order. Completely ignoring this asian lady. Good thing the asian lady spoke up and the barista had to help her first. Twas the customer who apologized, the barista just looked embarrassed. Everyone is so friendly here, I don't see why they have 3 stars. The employees always give me the best suggestions. Like today, I asked for iced coffee but I wanted a little more caffeine.. I understand that Starbucks can get pretty busy. What I don't understand is why there are so few employees when the line almost reaches the front door!? On top of that some training or improvement needs to be done. I just purchased a chai tea latte n I emphasized "iced" what did I get? A hot water downed chai tea that barely even tastes like milk. I have been to many starbucks but until this one, I had never been to one with an unpleasant employee. I had come with a friend of mine, I ordered two grandes only to get one tall and one grande. when i realized the cashier made a mistake i went back into to try to fix it. the way that she replied to me was a little hostile. she did not even offer to fix it and stood her ground saying i ordered only one grande. i would have paid the difference but her reply just made it not worth it. on top of that this place hardly ever has any open parking spots which wasnt as big a problem to me until the unpleasant customer service. i definitely will not be coming back to this particular location(nothing against any other locations btw, which i have always experienced much friendly and cheery service). read more

Typical Starbucks, right around the corner from me. Walking distance :) they also have a patio ! I like the look of this particular Starbucks as it is a wrap around store . The service could be better. & I ordered a drink called the cotton candy frappuccino :) it's on the secret menu & you'll love it! The desserts are always good & so are the croissants ... I'd always come here to study until they took out tables and seats due to "fire hazard" reasons.so seating is limited and parking had become more difficult to find because of the businesses next door. I like this location because there's rarely a line and there's a small area to work which is usually empty. The downside is that they don't have brewed blonde coffee if you're coming in and out, but not a big deal for me since I stay to work. The two stars is for the rude service by the two older ladies one which is Marina. Today was the straw that broke the camels back. I came in & asked for the blonde. I know I have to wait but it was the way I was told by older lady #1 that was condescending. "Can I get a tall blonde coffee?" Lady #1, "You HAVE to wait!" I just said ok. Went on to work. I returned to the counter 1/2 hr later and asked Marina for a refill. She asked me for a receipt. I said I used my app so no. With a frown, she said she'll let me get it this time but next I need a receipt. I said I've never been asked for a receipt here or any Starbucks. She said, "We ALWAYS ask for a receipt." I could've let it go, but it bugged me. I then said, "So are you implying I'm not saying the truth?" She shrugged her shoulders and said "I don't know but we ALWAYS ask for one..." Clearly these employees need training on how to speak to customers. I get it, perhaps it's their policy to ask for one and she's going by the book but she could have had a different tone and said, "no problem, normally we're supposed to ask for it. it is obvious if you look around and watch how well the baristas (see below for more on this) and the other help work that this is a well run Starbuck's. everyone moves as if your life depends on it and in many instances it does: caffeine in the am is essential to get my brain and body moving. this 'bucks is clean and organized. i have a friend that hates the coffee because she says that it tastes burnt!. No. i love it. the main issue i have with this 'bucks is that one particular barista cannot/will not get my cappuccino right! despite specific directions as written on the cup she blows it every time. i'm beginning to think that she does it on purpose. i know this sounds paranoid but i have questioned her and she merely gives me a wan smile. or is it a wild smirk?? in any event since i like this location but when i see HER on the coffee making line i order a Cold Brew which she does not screw up. I realize that i should speak to the manager and cause a scene, right? maybe fling my poorly blended capp in this nefarious barista's face, yes? No. Why not? Because i remember how it was to be a 20 year old trying to make a buck to continue my education with job knowledge just short of perfection. She needs this job and i think that i have devised the perfect way to avoid her job inconsistencies. Besides a Venti Cold Brew will blow your head off and the tea's are so delicious. read more
