First time at Jam Jam and it definitely did not disappoint! I got a few drinks but my favorite is their coconut mango pomelo. It was so refreshing and had lots of toppings. I came here on the recommendation of my cousins who are local to LA, and JamJam did not disappoint! From the cute logo to the forest-and-beige uniforms, everything about this boba spot is aesthetic and well thought out. They specialize in milk teas, and the overall vibe makes it such a fun place to visit. *Tsubaki Oolong Milk Tea: This is their spring release and has a slightly more floral profile than a typical oolong, likely because "tsubaki" refers to Japanese camellia. I found it lighter than a regular oolong milk tea which really easy to drink quickly. *Cheese Barley Milk Tea: This is one of their top drinks and was definitely a favorite for me! The salty cheese foam perfectly complements the sweetness of the milk tea. I wish there was a way I could get more of the foam with my straw which each sip. It also comes with barley boba, which has a smooth outer layer and a chewy barley puff when you bite into it. I don't see this topping too often, but I like ordering it when I see it on the menu. The team here was so sweet and hardworking! They definitely get waves of being slammed, but they were still super efficient with getting drinks out. I also noticed that when someone ordered more drinks than they could carry, a team member offered a carrier and even put everything into one of their cute insulated bags. Quick milk tea! Can order at kiosk or at counter. Some of the premade drinks come with agar boba that we could not remove in the kiosk but the counter staff was able to adjust. Only downside was the cheese foam drinks still came with the regular foil lids, which negate the "fun" of drinking cheese foam and tea via sipping versus straw. Had the best time at JamJam trying all these drinks! The Tsubaki oolong milk tea was amazing! It has these delicate camellia blossom notes with top-quality oolong tea and their house cream. It was so light and the floral flavor was so unique without being overpowering. We got it with brown sugar boba and it was very yummy! The Thai milk tea was so creamy with that classic Thai tea flavor. The mango matcha latte was really good! I loved how they had muddled mango at the bottom and the fruit jelly with it was delicious. I would rate each of them around an 8/10. Mango matcha - sweet and delicious; appreciated the option to go lighter on the mango jam, and more matcha instead. 2. Oreo - also delicious and maybe tied with the mango matcha in terms of preference. 3. Coconut mango - refreshing and tropical. 4. Barley boba with cheese topping - obsessed with the cheese topping, but not the biggest fan of the barley balls. I would forgo the barley balls next time, personally. 5. Thai tea crème brûlée - good classic drink, but not my favorite. The inside is clean, modern, and cozy. I recently visited Jam Jam Tea Lab in Downtown Burbank and really enjoyed it. The Coconut Mango Pomelo was so good, with plenty of pomelo chunks. I swapped the agar boba for brown sugar boba, and it was soft and had just the right texture. They also have a new drink called Snow Blossom, which has a fragrant, floral tea. I added cheese foam, and it paired really well, creamy and slightly savory, complementing the tea nicely. We also tried the Green Grape Smash with Jasmine green tea, fresh green grapes, and green grape jam. It's on the sweeter side, so I would suggest lowering the sugar level if you prefer something more balanced. Enjoyed this drink a lot with the modification of oat milk (soy milk is also offered!) Ordered the Green Plum Smash at 0% sugar and less ice and barley boba - unfortunately I think my modifications weren't followed at all since the cup was mostly ice and the drink was too sweet. It has mango jam and mango bits which tasted really fresh and delicious and adds the perfect balance of sweetness to the drink. I do feel like it overpowered the matcha a bit so I could taste much of the matcha. Also had it with agar boba which gave a new chewy texture. It really looks stunning as a drink though. Coconut Mango Pomelo: I was really surprised with this drink but in a good way. Every element worked perfectly to give a nice refreshing and tropical taste to the drink. I wanted to come here because I saw on their menu they offer a white peach milk tea which is one of my favorites. You park underground then take an elevator up to the main floor with all the restaurants and the movie theatre. You order on a machine but the workers were nice enough to help us with any questions we may have. There is a long bench inside for sitting but no tables. White peach milk tea: 4/5, I loveeeeed the milk tea so much. The peach flavor was strong but not over powering. My least favorite part about the drink was actually the boba. The texture was great but the brown sugar on the boba was overwhelming. It started to increase the sweetness of the drink which I didn't love.
