This is one of my favorite brand from China for good milk tea or fruit tea. I was really excited to finally trying it out now that they opened at Glendale Galleria. I ordered king jasmine Guava and a brown sugar milk tea on my phone. When I went to the shop to pick up my order it was quite crowded inside. The moment I stepped inside the store there is a strong odor.... It feels like the ventilation was pretty bad .. it's pretty warm inside . The staff were clearly bothered by something. Not a single smile around. This is a bit sad to see the shape of the store. Now, my tea is $7.99, tastes really great! I highly recommend it. It's fresh. And pretty unique. I wish the situation in the shop will get better. We will be back for more tea!

Nothing could have prepared me for how much I would really love this spot. This was the last stop on my mini matcha tour in the LA area and after drinking 2 other lattes, I was worried it would end up being a little too much. Boy, was I glad to be wrong. The drink was perfect! I thought it was going to be a lot heavier because it was a matcha with matcha foam, matcha jelly and boba, but somehow it was gone in mere minutes... And I'm usually a slow sipper so that's definitely saying something. The boba texture was perfect too, so that was an added bonus. Overall, not too sweet though somehow, earthy and balanced. The matcha jelly was a fantastic surprise and might have been my favorite part of the drink-- it added an amazing texture! This location is inside a mall, so parking was kind of rough, and it did take a little bit for my drink to be done. There is no where to sit really, besides the food court but it was insanely packed (it was a Saturday). So that's something to note for sure. I'll be back next time I'm in town for sure!

Stumbling into Heytea at the galleria Super cute little tea shop! I got the pistachio cloud king jasmine The staff was quick and friendly My drink was so beautiful the top was like a salted pistachio cream with bits of pistachios The bottom was a really well balanced jasmine milk tea! The two combined was like I found purpose through pistachio! Never would've thought this combo would work! I was so sad after I was done! So glad I got this drink

A very solid spot, and I'm glad they opened this Glendale location. I got the Coconut Mango Blue with no sweetener, and it was already the perfect level of sweetness for me. I'd recommend ordering it this way if you don't like drinks that are too sweet or if you're trying to cut down on sugar. If you're looking for fruit teas, this probably isn't the place. Their drinks are thicker but still smooth, with a really nice balance of textures and flavors that makes each sip interesting and satisfying. Because of that, I always end up finishing the entire cup easily. It's perfect if you want something smoothie-like but not overly thick. Some of their other top flavors are also very reliable, like the Mango Grapefruit Boom. One drink I personally wouldn't recommend is the Tiramisu Rich Chocolate--it felt like a glorified hot chocolate in cold form, basically like a rich chocolate milk you could buy for cheaper at the market. Stick with their top flavors and you won't go wrong!

Decided to try this spot out before we left the mall this afternoon. The line was out the door so it had to be good, right? This spot just opened near the Target side of the mall. Seemed overhyped honestly. The drinks are pricey, drinks came out quick but the menu doesn't tell you anything. They have drink names and photos, no description of what's in it. I guess you can ask but the photo also didn't look anything like how my drink turned out. I went for the coconut mango boom, the place gets crowded inside so it's better to wait outside and just watch for your number to pop up on the screen which is honestly convenient and maybe that was the purpose. I thought I was just getting a coconut mango smoothie and I added boba. Also? They call it "bobo" here so when I ordered "bobo" in my drink, the worker looked at me and asked a few times what I wanted lol and then asked if I wanted "boba". Made me feel like I didn't know what I wanted lmao. Anyway, the drink was what I described except it had a lot of other stuff in it such as mini tapioca pearls, pudding of some sort, AND chunks of mango. It felt like a dessert you'd eat with a spoon more than a drink. The coconut mango flavor was good and tasted like the sticky rice dessert but the toppings were just too much. I couldn't even get half way without being sick and tired of it, felt like a waste. Definitely not my kind of boba/tea spot. IG: @ammysalamii

LOVE HEYTEA! The way this place lives rent free in my head. I love the variety of drink options they have on the menu, and that they have my favorite drink ever: mango coconut sago. Their fruit drinks are always so refreshing, and the boba is so satisfyingly chewy. The perfect end to a meal always. This location is in the Monterey Park plaza, which means plenty of parking in the free garage underground. My friend ordered the pistachio jasmine latte, and it came with a "flavor enhancing straw" which was basically three tiny straws stuck together. Apparently it brings out more flavor drinking out of a smaller opening than a larger one, because it emulates "sipping". There's always a line but the wait is never too long. There is a kiosk where you can order from, but it's faster if you download the app.

Small, basically "to go" tea shop in the mall. I love the tea aroma that pleasantly wafts all around when you first walk in. There's a vibe of high quality to their products. I had the tiramisu milk tea and it was enjoyable, tea forward, but with that tiramisu taste and sweetness. It was exactly what I expected it to be (that's a good thing). The service is efficient and helpful.

The service was quick despite the location being pretty busy. We got the mango coconut boom (recommended by employee). We adjusted to 25% sweetness however it was still pretty sweet. It had cocunut jelly inside with mini crystal boba. The mango tasted fresh. The brown sugar milk tea we adjusted to 50% and it was perfect, not too sweet. Will recommend if your in the area

Tiramisu Milk Tea

Located on the bottom floor of the galleria right outside of the target. Only had 1 drink so review is subject to change. I'd say service is pretty quick and their order status pos system is unique. A self order kiosk would be a nice addition, but maybe it's just how they regulate order traffic as there ins't just a person designated to take orders. Tiramisu Milk Tea is a specialty drink I believe, in collaboration with twinkle twinkle, unfortunately we didn't recieve anything because they were sold out. The drink was normal in all honesty, don't taste much of tiramisu even when it's all mixed in.

Triple Supreme Matcha Latte

Minimalist looking spot. There was a line when I stopped by so I tried their online ordering which I highly recommend. You do need to download an app but there are coupons for first time users. I was able to use a 50% off my second drink and accumulate points. Once you place your order, you're given your number and the app will let you know when your order is ready. I tried the Triple Supreme Matcha Latte with extra mochi (I didn't get charge for adding extra so ++). It's good matcha. Not overly sweet with a hint of bitterness. I do wish the drink was colder.

StaciLei T.

I may be addicted to Heytea's triple matcha... but I think that's okay. I literally haven't tried anything else on the menu but I have friends who have branched out any love all their drinks. For me, it's always going to be the triple matcha. It's coconut jelly mixed with Matcha, matcha mochi and creamy matcha cheese. I even get it full sweetness but you can pick your level of sweetness. I can drink this up in 5 minutes flat and if I could I would drink 2 a day. I'm obsessed. Maybe one day I'll branch out and try other drinks but until then, the triple matcha will be my go to forever.

Food/drink: 5 Service: 4 Ambiance: 4.5 I was at the mall and craving some matcha when I came across HEYTEA, so I decided to stop in. I happened to come during a pretty quiet time, and there was only one person in front of me so I didn't have to wait at all. I originally planned to get a classic matcha drink, but after looking at the menu I decided to try the Blue Matcha Coconut Aqua just for fun. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but when I got it, it looked absolutely beautiful. You could see the layers of the coconut water, the matcha, and the blue tea. The taste was even better than it looked: refreshing, light, fresh, slightly sweet, and very flavorful. Honestly, it was so good that I immediately wanted another one right after. The store itself was relaxing and peaceful, and it smelled really nice, almost like jasmine. Since it wasn't busy when I visited, the ambience felt calm and quiet in the best way. The service was good as well, friendly, helpful, and efficient. Overall, the drink was amazing, and I would definitely come back and order the exact same thing.

Maruko X.

Ambiance: it's located on the ground level of Glendale galleria shopping center, right outside of the entrance to target Service: you can either place the order with the cashier or through their website, and all pick-ups are mixed together, you have to grab the straw and pack the drink by yourself, their staff were too busy to offer any help Drink: standard Heytea menu with seasonal items Coconut Mango Blue - *** creamy and light taste Price: most drinks cost $7+ here, not quite worth it

Their menu is incredibly innovative and has a lot of unique flavors, so it was super hard choosing just one. I wanted to try the mango matcha, too and the banana flavors also sounded good. We ended up ordering the Vietnamese coffee and the double matcha. The Vietnamese coffee was good, strong and not too sweet. However, my double matcha was very milky and tasted watered down. Despite it being the strongest matcha on the menu (supposedly), there was no matcha taste at all and it tasted more like just oat milk. The matcha cream on top was tasty and strong but not enough to balance out the milkiness of the matcha latte underneath. I was pretty disappointed, but hopefully it was just a one off. I hope I can come back and try some of the other flavors, and see if the matcha is redeemed. The space itself is super cute with wooden tables and a record player and plants in the corner. There are also chairs and tables outside, and it's located in a plaza with plenty of parking. A pretty convenient and cozy space - I'd opt for the coffee instead of matcha here or skip the double matcha and try a fruit matcha instead.

In addition to being very nice last time (except for the logistics of ordering and the non-functioning power outlets), the please remains a peaceful oasis and the ordering process has improved since. Most importantly, the coffee remains delicious, and the tomato basil tart was a wonderful quick lunch followed by a multi berry muffin. PREVIOUS REVIEW1 Cute little place in Atwater Village!! So cute with peaceful, relaxing and quiet atmosphere (inside/outside) that I thought I could get some work done (free WiFi). The concept is a bit confusing: There are a bunch of "menu items" such as sandwiches and wraps etc, but while they are listed on a big board behind the counter, you have to actually grab them premade/prepacked from a fridge ... The Vegan Smokey BBQ Wrap was very good except for the short and transient moment when I opened the container, but after all it was actually fresh, juicy and had a great flavor mix. The Mex Mocha with Almond milk (alternatives are available) was delicious, and I paired it with a GF Orange Chia Bread Loaf. PS: I'm neither Vegan nor GF fanatic... What really defied the purpose of coming here was the non-working power outlets, and the manager not taking care of it. My laptop unfortunately does not have a TESLA battery and hence I did not last for 2 hours... PS: I neither have a TESLA nor a Prius either ...
