Highly recommend this spot and their top drinks. So good! I love the mochi options and everything tastes fresh and authentic! There was a bit of a wait but it's worth it for the great options.
A SoCal local friend recommended 3CAT Handcrafted Beverage while I was in LA, so naturally I had to give it a try. I went with the Super Orange, which is made with jasmine green tea, fresh orange juice, and orange slices. The first thing I noticed was how strong the orange flavor was, but not in a bad way at all. It was still sweet, refreshing, and tasted like they were actually using real oranges instead of some super artificial syrup or flavoring. You could definitely taste the freshness. It was a really solid drink, especially on a warm LA day, and I can see why my friend recommended this spot. I'd absolutely come back and try some of the other drinks on the menu next time I'm in Koreatown.
Was craving some late-night boba and was glad 3CAT was open! I tried the Mochi Barley Burst (less sweet), and it was so yummy. It's a black milk tea with soft mochi topping and a barley popping boba, which make for such a fun texture! I love anything mochi, so this drink was perfect! You order at one of the kiosks, and service is pretty fast. There's limited seating, but it feels more like a grab-and-go boba spot. There's also a parking lot attached to the plaza, which is convenient, although it seems like it can get pretty busy during peak hours.
Boba Upgraded! The Mochi Barley Burst Is an Absolute Must-Try. 3CAT Handcrafted Beverage has become one of my new favorite boba spots! This is a tea-forward spot that makes all ingredients and toppings fresh from scratch daily. Their most well-known unique topping is the barley popping boba. They use a real-chewy highland barley grain that gives off a nutty, earthy and milkdly sweet pop that makes for a unique texture. The fan-favorite drink is the Mochi Barley Burst which pairs a floral black milk tea with the popping barley and fresh handcrafted mochi. The tea does not have any artificial syrups and uses an organic milk with a bold tea base. The handcrafted mochi is super fun to have with the popping barley because it is pillowy and velvety. Make sure to mix it well together, so you can enjoy the whole drink for all its features. I like the ambiance of the shop. It's a smaller shop with some seating area. You order your drink at the self-service station. There's quite a few staff working to make the drinks, so we got our drinks in less than 10 minutes. I adore 3CAT and I would highly recommend visiting if you haven't already!
The drinks here are delightfully fluffy and cloudy for their mochi and the mango hits the spot so much! I mainly wish they had more drink to mochi ratio as we quickly got stuck with the mochi at the end.
Seasonal beverages here are excellent - the peachy strawberry glow was delicious. Parking lot is crowded, inside is large enough and even has a few seats (but not a ton), service is quick. And the drinks, from the few I've had, have been excellent. Vibe has the usual one wall that's more decorated in an effort to be more Instagram friendly, and you know what, I can't knock it.
I feel like this 3Cat location is better than the other locations. We ordered the avocado smoothie which came with crystal boba and mango puree, and we also ordered the matcha smoothie which came with their signature mochi. Their drinks are consistently good and you can really taste the fruit and the freshness of the smoothie. We received our drinks within 10 minutes of ordering. This location can get super busy though, especially on the weekends right after dinner. We've waited upwards of 30 minutes during that time. Would recommend ordering online if you decide to get 3Cat after dinner on the weekends! They have some seating inside the store but it can get pretty packed. There is parking in a parking lot with other shared businesses. Although it costs around $8 per drink, I think it's a nice treat.

Ordered the mochi mango drink with 50% sweetness and whipped cream. Loved the fresh milk flavor of the cream paired with the mango's tartness and chewy mochi which was pleasantly unique and unforgettable. The store is clean, bright, and compact. There's a kiosk to order drinks. They have cute cat decorations and plants. If you feel like treating yourself with a special drink, this is the place.
Ordering is automated here. Our wait time was displayed as ~12 minutes and then it jumped to 20 mins for some reason. Two drinks came out to $16 with tip which is a little pricey in my opinion. It's a nice treat every now and then but definitely a splurge. They also messed up and added popping boba in my friend's drink even though he wanted it plain.

The Cheese Berry had a really nice fruity flavor and the cheese foam added a creamy, slightly salty contrast that made the drink more interesting. Personally, I'm more of a milk tea person, so fruit teas aren't usually my go-to. Even though I can tell their fruit drinks are well made, they're just not my personal preference. If you enjoy fruit teas though, this would probably be a great spot to try because that seems to be what they do best. The shop itself is clean, bright, and very open, which makes it feel comfortable when you walk in. They use self-order kiosks, which makes ordering quick and easy, and the staff there were also really nice if you needed help. Overall it's a solid spot for drinks, especially if you're someone who enjoys fruit teas.

Pros: - The Barley Mochi Buret was DELICIOUS! It has a great nutty flavor and depth. The speciality milk (Straus), was very VERY creamy. I would highly recommend if you're someone who doesn't like things too sweet and prefer teas more natural to opt for 0% sweetness. The milk has a sweetness to it combined with boba / mochi so just be aware. - Service was super fast considering how busy they are - Boba and mochi were expertly made with perfect texture Cons: - Interior size. Interesting drink spot with some unique flavors I haven't seen elsewhere, like osmanthus, chestnut, and barley. They make their drinks with house coconut milk and offer both fruit teas and milk teas. Ordering is efficient with self-service kiosks, and there were tons of pickup orders when I visited. Seating is very limited only about 3 small tables. Drinks seem to come in one size, and they don't list specific sugar percentages, which would be helpful. My smoothie-style drink was around $7. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for more unique Asian-inspired drink flavors. read more

Came here for the BOGO deal for the new release of the chestnut line. I love that 3Cat always does BOGO offers when they release a new line of drinks! The chestnut puree tasted like real chestnut, not artificial, and there were bits of chestnut in the puree. Some bites of puree tasted more like chestnut than others, I think the puree is diluted or mixed with something else. The osmanthus flavor was strong and yummy! For the black tea I ordered minimal sugar and it was not bitter at all. But in both drinks I did not get any coconut flavor despite the menu saying they're made with coconut milk. I ordered online ahead of time because of other reviews mentioning long wait times. Online it said it would take 25-30 minutes but my order was ready 3 minutes after I placed the order. Although I appreciate my order was made quickly, I timed my order based on the estimated time and so my drink was melted by the time I got there. It would be helpful if the online order times are more accurate and not auto selected. read more

The rice mochi topping here is Soo good. I either get the black milk tea with rice mochi, or the lime explosion. If you love citrus, definitely try it. I prefer less sweet for the lime. My husband's go-to is the rice frost. The popping barley boba is fun, and I think the drink tastes a bit like makgeoli. read more
Came here for a sweet treat before I ubered back to my hotel. I ordered their matcha dragonwell panna. This drink is really creamy and has a nice silky texture to it. Safe to say it was a hit. Ordering is pretty simple. They have an electronic kiosk up front where you can order yourself. Definitely will be back next time I'm in town to try more drinks. Try it out if you like. :) read more
This is currently my fave boba place. The combinations are unique but complement so well with each other. My faves are the avomango and mango mochi. The quality of ingredients is consistent and super delish. This spot is located in a tiny plaza with limited parking. I believe there is valet at night available though. The workers can be curt with you as they are always packed and busy. The place is small and can sometimes be untidy. The music is also very very loud so it is almost not ideal for hangouts, date night, etc. Overall, I highly recommend their boba drinks. read more

This is one of the better boba shops in Ktown! I like their Mochi Mango, but this time I went I got one of their seasonal drinks, the Berry Cheesecake. It was good, it tasted like a drink version of a blueberry cheesecake. The berry smoothie part had a good amount of blueberry, but was a bit too sweet for me. The cheese part was light and not too tangy nor too sweet which was nice. The crunched up cookies were a nice touch, it was like actually eating a pie. While this drink was solid, it was a bit pricey for what it is at around $7.45. It was nice to try though. The have some seating and tables inside, but it isn't the best for a long period of time since they aren't the most comfortable. I do like the cat design of the boba shop though, it's cute! For parking, there's a parking lot in front shared with other businesses and I believe it's free. The service was pretty good and my drink came out very quickly. My friend also didn't like a part of her drink and they staff were able to remake her drink for her which was nice. Overall, a good experience here and I will continue to come back because they have some of the best boba drinks within Ktown. read more

I visited this place twice, and both times the drinks were actually amazing! The mochi in the drinks are so unique and delicious! Truly no other place can compare to their mochi! If I lived closer, I would definitely be coming to this place more often! read more
One of my top go-to Boba places! You order on an iPad and they call out your drink afterwards. There always seems to be a long line of drinks queued up, but it goes by quick enough. Ambience is loud, there's some seating indoors, but it's not really cozy and it's really loud inside so I wouldn't recommend this spot as a hangout spot. It's more of a grab your drink and go kind of vibe. Also a little grimy inside most times lol... But omgggg the mango mochi... Let's start with the drink- I tried their special mango mochi signature beverage. The mochi and mango had great flavoring but it mainly consisted of ice. It was mostly what i tasted. Not so great. Did I mention that I waited 41 min for my drink? The place was packed. The lady in the front said that they do make the drinks in order but in batches. They made my batch ( I saw my drink with my name) 20 min in and I watched it sit there for another 20 min. I told the lady that the batch has been sitting there but she kept pushing out newly made drinks because they were being placed in front of her instead of pushing out the ones who were made earlier that was placed farther out. She ignored me along with another staff member. Worst customer service at a tea shop place I ever had. The drink was not even made well to begin with. Not worth it. The place was also not the cleanest. 3cat has uniquely flavored drinks but that's it. 40+min wait is shockingly not worth it read more

I have been here twice in the last few weeks and so far loving the drinks from here. The drinkable mochi from the Mochi Mango and Mochi Oreo are really addictive. 3Cat Mochi has got to be the best I ever had so far. The texture and taste isn't something I am able to find in other places near my area (I have tried looking). I have done both in store ordering using the tablet and via online. Both options were easy to navigate. If visiting in store, there might a wait since it seems this place is popular. There is available seating inside. There are little tables, benches and stools if you decide to stay for a little bit. Parking situation varies. Both times I went, on Sundays, there were ample parking and no issues. Dang this place is good. Came here after dinner with a friend in Ktown. She had been wanted to check this place out. When you walk in, you order at the kiosk. I opted to try the Mango Mochi since that seems to be the most popular. The mochi was SOOO good! It's not like chewy mochi. It's almost like a rice pudding texture. It's hard to explain. It's definitely sweet and FULL of sugar so of course if given the chance, I request less sugar. Make sure you come with space in your tummy cuz it is a heavy drink. Definitely worth going back again to try the other drinks. read more
Came for the mochi mango smoothie! Place was happening! There is a space inside to sit. Service was very good. Bathroom is available. As for the mochi mango smoothie, it was amazing. Excellent. i honestly don't really get boba that much anymore but when i do, it's 3cat!! i love the texture of their boba and im still trying diff things on their menu to find a favorite drink. this time i tried the matcha dragonwell panna which is a new seasonal drink. i added brown sugar boba in mine. the cheesecake cream and matcha mousse combo made the drink very creamy and the first few sips were cool since i was getting different flavors - salty from the salted panna, sweet, etc. after mixing it all in, the drink itself was veryy sweet (i got regular sweetness) but that might've been also because of the brown sugar boba. it was nice to try but i'd want to try their other drinks next time. i took a sip of the yuzu berry and it tasted like a fruit smoothie. you could order through the tablet or with the cashier. there are only a few tables and the interior is very nice! they added valet more recently for $4, which is a con since the lot is not always full and they used to have the big parking lot for free which is one of the reasons i enjoyed this location :/ read more
