Melrose Squeeze is my go-to stop every time I'm thrifting on Melrose. Whether I need a smoothie to cool down or a quick healthy snack between shops, this is always my first choice. You can genuinely taste the difference here because everything is made fresh to order with real ingredients. None of the artificial, overly sweet stuff you get at chain smoothie places. I love that they don't add sugar, so the natural flavors of the fruit actually shine through. Every smoothie I've had has been consistently delicious. The owner is also one of the sweetest people you'll meet. He's been running this little shop for years, and you can tell how much love and care goes into everything they make. It's the kind of small family-owned business that makes Melrose feel special, and I always leave happier than when I walked in. Price - $9-$12 | service - above average | cleanliness - average | interior - casual industrial | parking - street metered free after 8 PM Ordered the Melrose Special (contains coconut + coconut water) but added acai to it costing around $12. First timer but very impressed. After a Jiu Jitsu session, this was the perfect way to recover as it was refreshing and I felt the recovery happening as I was getting restored primarily from the coconut water and acai. I highly recommend the Melrose Special and adding acai if you want extra superpowers from this exotic fruit! I also bought the CBD sparkling water, cold brew, and Oregon spring water. I'm definitely looking forward to visiting Melrose Place again to try all the other drinks. read more

Melrose Squeeze absolutely exceeded expectations. We stopped in after a morning out in Los Angeles hiking Runyon Canyon and were blown away. The smoothies were some of the best I've had in LA -- incredibly fresh, balanced, and flavorful. We tried the Tony Special, the Melrose Special, and the Coconut Cardamom, and each one was fantastic in its own way. What made the experience even better was the service. Vahe, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and attentive. He made us feel right at home and clearly takes pride in what he serves, giving us a few free samples of his favorite items! We also had wheatgrass shots for our friend Nando's mother, who is visiting Los Angeles from Portugal for the first time -- and it was such a fun, memorable experience for her. Fresh ingredients, amazing smoothies, and exceptional hospitality. We'll absolutely be back. read more

I ordered the large hemp smoothie with creatine today. It came out to $15, and I also left a $2 tip. Unfortunately, the smoothie was very watery and wasn't blended thick like it usually is. I've come in here a time or two for a wellness shot or a juice and it always gets the job done. I found myself a bit under the weather recently, but after getting both the face melter ginger shot and the coldbuster juice, I felt eons better. The face melter, in particular, will clear your sinuses in a pinch. It's a small spot with minimal frills, but service is competent and prices are reasonable. I've yet to try their açaí bowls or smoothies, but maybe next time. 3.6 stars. read more

I recently heard of this place through a coworker and thought I'd give it a shot. I stopped by and it's a small location that has tons of options. I ordered their special , ugh forgot the name, but it was outstanding. Parking is a bit of a challenge but staff was really nice. I would definitely recommend this spot. Stumbled upon this spot after a workout and it was everything I didn't know I needed in my life! So refreshing and full of flavor + squeaky clean environment (which is high up on my list of pet peeves!) Well I have enn coming here for quite sometime. And it's lovely the smoothies and the Acai bowl is the best. Do not be dettered by the reviews at all. This is my favorite spot for grabbing an Acai Bowl for sure. I have smoothies occasionally and really enjoy them. And Anna is the best she is lovely.. What is going on with these reviews? Lol went in on a Sunday afternoon with the fam and were looking to get some good smoothies to refresh us after a shopping day with the kids. I looked on yelp and found this place but was deceived by the reviews lol the service was as horrid as the drinks. This place is dirty and it stinks like old produce. The person making our smoothies for sure didn't want to be there because he literally told us lol he made all our smoothies and they tasted like he used milk and powder. There was not fresh fruit in these smoothies. It was so disgusting and expensive. $55 dollars for trash. Do not go here. It's Tuesday and we're still talking about how disgusting this place was lol PUT SOME LOVE IN YOUR EXPENSIVE AZZ DRINKS! it should be a crime to charge so much for terrible service and terrible products. read more

However, $7.99 for a smoothie seems steep. Must be a sign of the times. But that's for you to decide. Based of my brief experience stopping in. I'm not one to hastily change a negative review but I have to say this place cares about its costumers more than almost every place I've been. Within a day I was contacted and informed they are training new people and unfortunately that comes with mistakes. They asked us to give them another chance and when I did the owner himself delivered the drinks which seems super over the top good costumer service. He apologized about the poor quality of our order personally rather than just sending an employee. I was blown away. The vegan chocolate one was too thick and rich for my liking but the Tonys special was great. I even got to try the raved about acai bowl but there was so much granola in it a lot of the granola was dry because there wasn't enough acai. I did love the other toppings though. Overall I'm very impressed with how they handled a very bad situation. ------ Original We made the mistake of spending $25 to get two smoothies delivered to us. They didn't put them in a cooler or anything because by the time we got them it was like a watery juice. It wasn't even that cold. It was like they made it an hour before they brought it and it just sat out. It was after 8 pm too so it's not like it was sitting in a hot car. We got the coconut kale and coconut date. I've had way better smoothies elsewhere but since people seem to love this place it may be because they don't care about their delivery costumers. We intentionally ordered through the business instead of postmates thinking they would make sure to keep the smoothie integrity up. But nope. Watery bland smoothies for the lose, Naturewell. You just lost a potential regular who buys a smoothie almost everyday from Beaming and gave you a shot cause you were closer and open. read more

This place is another level, Ive recently moved to the area and was looking for a really healthy place. Well Naturewell fits the bill. Where shall i start? The have a wide array of juices, I tend to go for the Greens Juice, Which is really super healthy and I get that when I am feeling a little under the weather. The Anti Virus juice is really good too, a good booster has beets and a lot of ginger...nice and fiery. The coconut kale used to be my go to... Not anymore the Vegan Chocolate is the one thats really good. The Acai bowl they kept on changing the bowls, and why they keep asking if you want Granola on the top or the bottom is silly!...Why keep changing things? Just keep it the same.... I do like that they have seating outside so You can watch the world go by and you can also look good for your instagram post lol! They have a wide variety of foods inside and they now have Salads! i know salads right! I had the chopped mexico which was nice and spicy and not too pricey lol!... Naturewell is by far the best juice place in and around the Melrose area. I actually walk past 2 juice places to get to Naturewell. I don't just make this walk because of the quality of their juice, which is as good and fresh as you can get. But also because of the service. Neil originally introduced us to Naturewell and has taken care of me and my co workers ever since. He greets us with a smile, and usually a face melter shot. His energy is contagious and that on top of the perfect juices and smoothies (not to leave out their amazing acai bowls!) We are all hooked and wouldn't go any where else. Thanks Neil. Stopped by this juice spot on Melrose, and it did not disappoint! The service was great--friendly and quick--and the location is super convenient. We tried their Cold Busters, and it was so refreshing and energizing, just what we needed to recharge and feel a little boost. And let me tell you, the açaí bowl was absolutely bomb--perfectly blended with fresh toppings that hit the spot. I vote this the number place in Los Angeles!! I love this place!! I get my veggies fix and feel good all day!! The customer service is great!! Organic juice is the way to go..they stand by their name. Naturewell is the best! They have a ton of different FRESH stuff. I always get the healthy heart or G-immunity if I need a lil boost. The crew at Naturewell has really made me feel at home over the past two years - it has real neighborhood feeling every time my daughter and I go in. The "face melter" shot never fails to put the extra pep in my step, while the smoothies, no matter what flavor one orders, are solidly constructed with lots of healthy fruit and greens. I came here after a hike and wanted to try their smoothies. I saw the reviews and was excited to try it. As soon as I walked in the service was really lacking. I got the protein smoothie which was almost 11$. Upon drinking this smoothie, It was nothing special - the are way better smoothies that wont break the bank. This is a great place to get a juice or a smoothie made with love by the awesome stuff. Guys are super helpful and are ready to customize your drink or give an advice. I had the Green Dream smoothie, made with almond mylk, green apple, banana, kale and parsley. It's one of their many vegan by default blends. Most made with almond milk, some with added yogurt organic whole milk. Their Awake, Chocolate Lovers, Majoon, Mollie's Post Work Out, Pink Power, Yellow Diamond, Mudder|Earth, Cinna/Mud Kruch (made with Oat Milk) and the Orange Sunrise (which I sometimes get at other locations) are amongst the many dairy free signature smooths.
