Melrose Squeeze absolutely exceeded expectations. We stopped in after a morning out in Los Angeles hiking Runyon Canyon and were blown away. The smoothies were some of the best I've had in LA -- incredibly fresh, balanced, and flavorful. We tried the Tony Special, the Melrose Special, and the Coconut Cardamom, and each one was fantastic in its own way. What made the experience even better was the service. Vahe, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and attentive. He made us feel right at home and clearly takes pride in what he serves, giving us a few free samples of his favorite items! We also had wheatgrass shots for our friend Nando's mother, who is visiting Los Angeles from Portugal for the first time -- and it was such a fun, memorable experience for her. I looked on yelp and found this place but was deceived by the reviews lol the service was as horrid as the drinks. They fill it until half of the bowl and when I asked for more açaí and less toppings they said theres no "extras" açaí!!! Like more than half of the bowl is extra?
