    Power bowl

Ordered avocado toast and a regular-sized power bowl on DoorDash, with sub strawberry and blueberry top and Pure Acai instead of the regular acai base because I'm watching my blood sugar. Avocado toast was good, but the power bowl came with bananas on top and no strawberries. The acai base itself was extremely sweet despite having requested unsweetened acai be used. Disappointed.

    My receipt with time stamp.

This is my favorite açaí bowl and avocado toast place, but today was a mess. I ordered my regular and go to sit and wait. 20mins pass and I've seen about customers come and go with their items. At that point go to the pick up counter and ask if I missed my name. They then say oh I'm sorry we ran out of th produce your item required so it will be another 5mins. I hate bad customer service. They not only could've let me know, but they could've offered me water or something while I wait. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS APPARENTLY NO LONGER A THING. It's now 12:08pm My transaction started at 11:37am Crazy work.

All acai is expensive in LA, but only some is truly worth it. And backyard bowls is absolutely worth it. A massive bowl with an unbelievably flavorful acai base and toppings nearly overflowing is what you can expect. Also HUGE shoutout for sustainability, it's the only açaí place I've ever been to that has reusable bowls and spoons and not single use.

Berry Bowl, Dragon Bowl, Acai Smoothie, Avocado Toast

The restaurant had a nice interior and there's a glass room where workers blend smoothies. The bowls were good: berry bowl tastes like your typical açaí and the fruits are pretty fresh. dragon bowl was ok-- the base doesn't really taste like dragon fruit which makes sense since dragon fruit doesn't really have a strong taste. it's definitely too sweet though and i got a headache from eating it lmaoo. avocado toast was good but when you factor in that it's a $11 slice of sourdough with mashed avocado, onions, and radish: it's mid. Overall the food is decent if you don't care about the price!

Im so excited to try this bowl!

A top choice for acai bowl lovers: vibrant flavors, clean ingredients, and customizable goodness. Ideal for a fresh, nutrient-packed start or recharge midday. Dine‑in is strongly recommended for best experience--enjoy the interactive prep and immediate crunch.

    Almond Butter Toast

I'd never heard of this spot til today. My friend said he was picking up a smoothie and asked if i wanted one. I definitely said yes Checking out the menu, i asked for the pb and j porridge, almond butter toast, and the Hercules protein shake. Sadly the porridge wasn't still served at lunch. That almond butter toast made up for it though. I'm not sure if it was the bee pollen or strawberry preserves but it's addicting. And i got through that protein shake asap Definitely coming back so i can see the vibe of the actual in person ordering and pickup but it was bomb

Berry bowl was top notch! I loved that they had a separate room to blend the bowls. The space was way more calm and inviting without the noise. Would go back!

Santa Barbara Bowl (32 oz. Only)

Came on Saturday and wasn't too busy! Lots of outdoor and indoor seating. Got the island bowl and Santa Barbara bowl with a friend with a solid amount of granola and fruit proportional to the acai/hemp milk. Was good, but a little overpriced compared to nearby areas.

This is a nice place. We stopped in my wife wanted some kind of fancy breakfast option after my daughters and I had donuts. So she wanted something healthy and proteins field. She really enjoyed the food. I thought the ambience in the service was nice air plants a good music and she enjoyed her food

A great little gem of a place in Beverly Fairfax area! Lots of cute decorations inside, dog friendly, and lots of people stopping by in workout clothes pre or post workout for a recharge :) We got the berry bowl regular size and were happily delighted when they served it in a real bowl when eating in as opposed to take out. You can watch them blend and organize the bowls efficiently and we only had to wait a few minutes for ours. The portion was quite large and fed 2 well for a decent price ($13)!

To be fair, I tried to check out B Hills but it was chaotic af, I was doing a test drive and didn't want anything to happen to the car trying to find parking so I said screw it. This may be as close as I get and that's fine. I know it's a photo op for many, but this is my market of choice. I truly am a fan. Thankfully parking was easier here, I got a spot by the door and went in. Given that it was a Sunday, I appreciated it. I know it's the OG so it's nice to finally pay my respects. Understandably the layouts a bit different and I'm here for it. I'm not used to seeing the soup right by the door. I got some broccoli at the hot bar I'd never seen before, yum! I wish I saw it more. They had my beef chili, eggs I've never seen. Though I'm over the hold my beer on egg prices. I tap out with my $15 Erewhon dozen. Store was clean as always, staff was kind, loads of people as always, but I didn't need priority checkout bc the line was nonexistent when I checked out. It was probably harder to get out than in, but nothing I don't deal w at the Pasadena store. I still want to go back to WeHo, but I'm happy I finally made it here. Is this place part of my personality, ya. Do I care, nope! I'll come back, especially if I get confused about which store I'm going to lol.

Now that they've been around for a number of years, it's a well known fact that Erewhon is as…read morefamous for their celebrity endorsed smoothies as they are notorious for their astronomical prices. If a trip to Whole Foods earns them the nickname "Whole Paycheck", Erewhon will probably cost you your monthly rent. And yet, like a moth to a flame, I couldn't help but make a trip here to check out their wildly popular (and expensive) smoothies! Wandering through the aisles, Erewhon has all of the basics you would expect to find at a market, but a lot of the brands they carry aren't the typical mainstream ones you'll find at most other supermarkets. In a sense, they're like the Whole Foods of Whole Foods, as they almost exclusively feature premium/luxury brands that position themselves as being more "health focused". While that sort of claim can be relative (e.g. lower calories, but higher sodium), there's no question that the quality of their fresh produce, meats, and seafood definitely looked pretty legit, with a lot of products that are organic, free-range, cage-free, hormone-free, etc. As for the aforementioned smoothies that so many folks both praise and complain about, they're made fresh to order from their tonic bar that sits in the middle store - easy to find, but inconvenient to navigate past. With over a dozen different pre-set flavors/combinations to choose from, along with the option to customize and/or create your own, the menu has so much to offer. What's more, if you aren't in the mood for one of their smoothies, they also have freshly pressed juices, coffees, and teas. Even though their Strawberry Glaze Smoothie is easily their most popular smoothie (and best, according to Hailey Bieber), we opted to try their MALIBU MANGO SMOOTHIE ($21) instead. Based purely on taste, this actually wasn't too shabby - It had a nice punch of mango flavor and the consistency was smooth with just the right thickness to it. Plus, I liked how creamy both the texture and taste was and how it wasn't overly sweet. That being said, after tax/tip, did it taste $28 good? No. Although there wasn't anything inherently "bad" with this, it didn't taste all that different from the one I can get by my place in SF that costs me less than half as much. Despite how expensive the smoothie was, which at least I was already prepared for, the thing that really took us by surprise was how long it took for it to be made. Granted, this location might be an outlier, as its proximity to The Grove probably contributes to the number of people that were here, but I never would've guessed we'd have to wait almost half an hour for our order. Since I don't live anywhere near an Erewhon, I can't say if/when I would come back, but I certainly wouldn't entirely rule it out, as I liked the smoothie we got and I'm genuinely curious about the Strawberry Glaze one as well as some of their prepared foods. However, for how much it would set me back, it'll probably have to come after the next time I get a bonus or a raise so I can feel a little better about the splurge. Four stars for taste and the quality of what Erewhon has, but two stars, at best, for value, so three it is.
