Strawberry Jasmine Tea, Green Tea Yakult, and Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea
    Nikole D.

Interior: They have a limited set number of chairs. It would be nice to go with a small group (2-3 people) if you wanted to stay and enjoy your drink. If you go with a larger party, you may struggle and it would be better to take it to-go. There is a restroom located outside in the back of the store. Exterior: There's also limited parking (small lot with valet) or street parking. Drink: The boba was not cooked thoroughly (was hard) and one of the new drinks, TIE GUAN YIN TEA, did not have a distinct taste compared to the other teas. Service: There was only one person working. If you come in a larger party with a similar setting, be prepared for a longer wait time for your drink(s). This would be a good place if you are desperate for a boba drink and need it open late.

We stopped by for a quick sweet treat after dinner and the place was packed! We waited about 15min for our drinks. I got the Sunright boba milk tea which has a Ceylon black tea base and it also comes with boba included! I also like adding brûlée crème for extra creaminess, though it makes the drink a little too sweet so I adjust the sugar level to 25%, which is perfection! The boba is absolutely qq! The mango milk tea was also good, I didn't get to see how they made it but it tasted like they used real mango. I saw them using real strawberries for a different drink which I'll try next time! Overall the staff were friendly. We will return for more!

Sunright? SunWRONG? I emailed the website the worker gave us to send an email to since she didn't want us to speak to the manager about our experience there. It's been over a month and no replies and I see the manager on Yelp replying to other people's posts except mine. Not sure why this place treats people so badly. Luckily there are so many better and new boba spots opening up around K-town

Nice ambiance, great drinks! I come here for boba all the time and it is my favorite in the LA area. This location doesn't have a bathroom though.

Sunright Tea Studio in Koreatown was our first boba stop in LA during our vacation, right after finishing KBBQ nearby. The store is street-facing, and as expected for Koreatown, parking is limited to street parking--no large parking lots in sight. Inside, there are a few small tables and seating areas, but they seem more for waiting rather than for hanging out. There are also some outdoor tables if you prefer to sit outside. Ordering is done through a kiosk, which is super convenient. We visited on a weekday afternoon, and it wasn't busy at all, so we were able to order right away without waiting. We got the roasted oolong tea and jasmine green tea, both at 100% sugar since we knew from trying this franchise in WA that their tea is on the stronger side. One thing I appreciated was the no-ice option, which is perfect because I can't drink cold drinks. The quality and price were decent, and the location was great for a quick boba stop. While nothing particularly stood out about the tea, it was still solid, making it a good option to add to your boba rotation if you're in the area.

liked this place a lot! i got the brown sugar milk tea with the pudding and it was delicious. super sweet so maybe get the 75% or lower if you don't have a big sweet tooth. the employees were super friendly as well and helped us get back into the parking lot behind the store when we got locked out thank you guys!

Pretty easy, quick service location of all the sunrights I've seen. Unfortunately doesn't have a lot of indoor seating, and the seats are stool-like so not super conducive to just hanging out. The ordering kiosks are quick. The layout feels more like to-go counter-service exclusive, rather than a tea place to congregate. It's not very well-lit inside and there were fruit flies, at least that means they're using real fruit! They do not have a bathroom key. My fruit tea tasted correct and came out really quickly though!

Sunright is such a reliable option when you just need a delicious drink. I love the Sunright and this location holds true to being the bright yellow, sunshiney, clean, light and fun aesthetic, they're known for. I only come to this location if I'm next door at Oakobing or near somewhere else on the block. Parking in valet wouldn't be worth a $4 tea alone. And this location seems to be a bit slower than others. As with every location I've been to, you use their kiosk to order which I like. Customize as you see fit and without the rush you might feel with a real human taking an order (fellow social anxiety people may get my vibe *mwah*). Their drinks are always tasty, always refreshing and not overly offensive to my wallet.

Stopped by this Sunright location for a post-dinner drink on a Sunday. For parking, I was able to find some street parking off of Berendo St. Ordering is done on a kiosk and the drink was ready within 10 minutes. There were some seats available to sit and wait for the order. However, it's not a location where you can sit and chat for a while. I decided to try a new drink and got the White Peach Oolong Cheese with honey boba. I got this with less sweetness and regular ice. It was really delicious and I'll probably get this more often!

cant see any of the strawberry in my strawberry frostie
    Van D.

We only came to Sunright cause Oakobing next door had a long line and the tables were all taken. Sunright was still a cool treat, and we typically like their other locations. Self serve kiosk that asks for tip, eye roll. My boyfriend has a Watermelon Lemonade that was new and potentially seasonal. I get what I frequently get at most of their locations. I got the Strawberry Frostie with agar boba 75% sweetened. So typically less sweet will have less cream foam streak in the strawberry drink. As you can see in my photo attached, it was like ALL FOAM, and barely any of the strawberry. It was gross and awful. They were so busy I couldn't even inform them that my drink was terribly made. Never coming back to this location.

The worker at this location rushed the entire process of making the drink and was very sloppy. In result, my drink was not made correctly and I tasted powder like particle in my drink as well as feeling something in my mouth that I could not quite conclude what it is. I have attached the object below in which I have found in my drink. This is completely unacceptable.

I stopped in on one of the hottest days of the summer and discovered this hidden gem on Sunset Blvd in artsy creative sunny Silver Lake, Los Angeles. I had heard of Naturewell and their locations (also in DTLA, on the go in their truck van for catering/events and in Altadena, formerly), but this was my first full experience trying a good variety including some of their awesome all natural snacks. I was greeted right away and got to take in everything including their extensive as well as growing collection of grab and good goodies, wellness shots and beverages. I wasn't feeling up to a bowl (definitely next time), but a Berrylicious smoothie and some truly awesome Gopal's Savory Pumpkin Seed Sprouties were the perfect mix. I went with the 20oz large size for my bev as it was a really hot day and only $1 more. My too cool for school Bar-rista even offered me a nice ice cold water while I waited as we bonded over that L.A. heat and humidity. They had some pickup orders and inquiring individuals passing by on the street and a few boxes to increase their shelf inventory. There's cute cozy chairs and tables out front, not to mention some space to enjoy their plants inside and that amazing AC. Eco friendly w/ easy cup carries for multiple drinks. They accept most forms of payment, including digital pay (Apple, Samsung, etc) and offer military discounts for those have served and/or are currently serving. Easy bike parking out front, local street parking and very close to metro stops as well as not more than 20 minutes from metro stations. Outside area in front is fairly open and pup friendly. Come fell the well/wellness of Naturewell.

So to encounter what I did in the midst of that was disheartening. Basically, I came in and was not greeted at all. I waited. I waited. Then, I moved closer to where the barista was working. Still nothing. Then, a man comes in and the same barista greets him. Turns out the man was picking up an order. Same as me. But he was likely with Uber Eats or Door Dash. After he took care of that man...mind you greeted, got his order and bid him ado...he still didn't attend to me. So, I finally greet him: Hi, how are you doing? I'm here to pick up a to-go order. The name is... He turns to go check and may have said something minimal. I can't remember. I do remember he never made eye contact. He must've said it's coming or something. I go back towards the front to wait. Another man enters, who is greeted by a different employee. Kindly. Takes care of the guy and even says have a good day. That same, second man brings me my to-go order. Doesn't say have a good day. I mean it's not like it's not possible, right. Don't gaslight me. I just 2 different people treat 2 different people better than I was. I check my bag and ask for utensils. He gets them. That's it. I decide to call after I left. Mind you parking stinks around this area. I would never think to come here to struggle and pay for parking and deal with bad customer service and food that is mid at best. The manager, a lady, wasn't much better. She apparently was sitting in the store and remembered me and the color I was wearing. She's basically like I saw you. I don't know what happened. I'll have to check with my staff because we don't discriminate. Mind you, ai didn't mention race. Was it because I was black? Perhaps because I was a woman? I will never know. What I do know is I was treated differently real time. Looked past. Given a lower level of priority and reception. But I'm puzzled that if this manager saw 3 very different interactions, why didn't she intervene. People have built in biased whether they are aware of it or not. And there is a difference between intent and impact. I did not feel seen. I did not feel empathy. She offered a free drink. She apologized. But it didn't feel heartfelt or sincere. You know how when you can tell when they are genuinely disappointed and want to really make it right. I told her that I didn't even live in the area and wasn't thrilled about returning. I won't return. And as I said the coffee and food was mid. Do better.

Erewhon Silver Lake is, by far, the worst Erewhon location in the city…read more I regularly shop at Erewhon and have been to every location. I'm frequently at Studio City, Santa Monica, and West Hollywood, so I have plenty of experience comparing the stores. Unfortunately, Silver Lake consistently stands out for all the wrong reasons. The biggest issue seems to be a serious lack of management and proper employee training. The team often appears confused about basic tasks, from printing labels to answering simple questions about prepared food. Something that should take a minute can turn into a long wait because no one seems to know what to do or who is responsible. The prepared-food experience is especially frustrating. Multiple times I've been told, "It'll be out in 10-15 minutes, they're making it now," only to wait 15 minutes and then be told, "Sorry, we were wrong--they're not making it anymore today." How does that happen so regularly? Even the food quality seems noticeably worse here. You would expect the exact same Erewhon item to be consistent from location to location, but that has not been my experience. I regularly eat the breakfast slider at Studio City without an issue, yet after eating the same item from Silver Lake, I felt sick. Even the meat and other prepared foods at Studio City consistently seem fresher to me. And the problems aren't limited to the prepared-food counter. I've purchased prebiotic yogurt here only to discover it was expired. I've also bought fruit that looked fine from the outside, cut it open shortly afterward, and realized it was so underripe that it was basically inedible and went straight into the trash. I understand that every store can have an occasional bad day. But when the problems are this consistent--from food quality and inventory information to expired products, produce quality, long waits, and employees struggling with basic procedures--it points to a management and training problem rather than an isolated mistake. For a store charging Erewhon prices, customers should absolutely expect better quality control and a much more organized operation. Today was my last visit to the Silver Lake location. I'll stick with Studio City, Santa Monica, and West Hollywood, where my experiences have been significantly better. Thanks, Silver Lake. Have a good one.
