Went during a bogo deal which was a big mistake because the store wasn't prepped at all-- it took OVER an hour to get my 2 drinks despite being told it'd take 15-20m when ordering. What's worse is turns out when my drink was ready it was never called on the screen so it was just sitting there-- though based on when my number started being skipped over, I'm guesstimating I still would've been waiting at least 45m.. When I went to go check on my order + explained it still said my drink was being made on the screen, the staff just passed me drinks that had been sitting there without any sort of apology I totally get this is likely atypical service because of the deal + the staff were understandably overwhelmed, but making an already lengthy wait even worse was a big bummer. Two stars because the drink itself was solid but next time the store runs a deal mgt should staff more to be better prepared!! read more

Located inside the Glendale Galleria mall, it's convenient to stop by for a quick refreshing drink but it is small inside and there is a bit of a wait every time. The Crisp Grape was my favorite because was incredibly refreshing and included actual pieces of fruit. Love how you can customize the drinks and make them less sweet. Pretty good deals on drinks offered on their app, staff are incredibly patient and friendly, usually takes 10-15 to churn out your drink on a regular day. Jasmine milk tea (hot, low sweetness, extra jasmine) was really delicious and I loved that you are able to customize the strength of the tea itself. I felt that the tea was really strong and that you could actually taste it, rather than it being overpowered by the milk or sweetener. Also ordered their new mochi longjing with cheese cloud and the cloud was, surprisingly, really delicious in itself. There's a decent amount of mochi stuck around the bottom that isn't too chewy but adds variety to your drink and I felt that the longjing tea was just alright. I believe I ordered the tea at extra strength but it didn't offer any particular unique tones. I think trying viral foods or drinks after they're viral can really let you know if they are actually good or not. So I finally went to the infamous HEYTEA at their newest location in Glendale Galleria. Mango grapefruit boom. Ok this is the one drink that everyone says you MUST get and I finally understand the hype. And apparently they have a drink that's customized by Lisa of Blackpink??! It's the Coconut matcha bobo and, ugh, it's *almost* as beautiful as the queen herself. But the Cloud crisp grape is probably my favorite because of how unique it is. Never knew they could make grape into a boba drink, and love the bite-size pieces of crunchy grape! Was on the way to Target and this spot was randomly spotted. So glad cause I was in a matcha mood. Service was really great, the cashier was really nice in explaining the menu and gave a great rec. This is my second time trying heytea because I couldn't believe my taste buds the first time lmao The mango coconut boom just tasted odd and flavorless during my first visit, and was lacking that "boom" aspect, so I decided to try something else and opted for the jasmine tea with salted cream. It, however, also lacked the "boom" (yes I know there's no "boom" in its name) but it definitely needed SOMETHING. The tea was overall very bland and thin and it almost tasted like I was drinking water. Even though the salted cream was good, it couldn't bring the jasmine water to life. This place was overwhelmingly amazing I got to try seven different Boba and every single one of them were amazing! 10 out of 10 I highly recommend the spot. The staff is super nice so if you can't decide what to get they are quick to help you decide they were out of the Cale specialty drink that I wanted to try but that's totally OK because everything else I tried was amazing All my coworkers enjoyed the drinks. The total wait including ordering + the actual drink was about 40 min. I knew this place was hyped so i was down to try it but Heytea really fell short for me. My sister go the mango coconut blue and i got the matcha supreme. The mango coconut was good, but just not good enough to wait 40 min. And i would assume that the matcha supreme would be ultra matcha-y with strong matcha flavor! But it was very milky and bland. There are other boba franchises that makes similar drinks for a fraction of the time it takes and with stronger flavors. I would maybe go back if the wait times are normal, but otherwise I'd rather go somewhere else! read more

Tea is good, without a doubt. I think this shop has great potential to run business in the Glendale mall if managed properly. I came in today for the first time and ordered a Jasmine latte with matcha cloud, they named this drink Matcha Cloud Jasmine Latte. I should have double checked, but I assumed that the cashier knew what I was essentially ordering. That was my mistake. She charged me literally a Jasmine Latte with add on matcha cloud, which ended up being 8.48 instead of 7.48. I confronted her just so this doesn't happen to someone else and in hopes that she recognized what I was trying to communicate to resolve the issue and maybe offer to refund me the dollar. Its just a dollar, but a little goes a long way. At first, she didn't seem sure that the prices were different until I compared my receipt and asked about the price menu. Then, she said, "Yeah, the prices are different but they're the same drink. Just make sure to order it the way its named next time." I get it, I really do. However, this is not a good sign of management. Each team member should know the menu and pricing well enough to recognize what the customers are trying to order. Just an FYI. I'll be coming back since there aren't other decent quality tea in Glendale area, but I do hope customer service improves next time because that was a bit of a turn off as I had high hopes for this tea brand. read more
