What a lovely experience when I was here last November. Sorry for the late review. The staff were excellent and the counter person took extra special care and drew something on my coffee cup. So sweet and creative. This is my second time here and won't be my last.

|[ y e e e ]| Always excited to try out coffee shops and what better time than otw to class? Will start with the rough things first-- it's echo park area so parking is horrendous but I lucked out today and got a meter right in front that's still green (thank you stranger lol)! |[ s u g a s u g a ]| They seem to have eccentric flavors such as the peanut butter latte but I avoid added sugars and unfortunately this has a lot of sugar. No sugar-free options here but I hope this is something they'll consider (especially being in health conscious LA). |[ l i k e u a l a t t e ]| My oat milk latte (hot) was pretty good and even though I got it sugar-free the coffee tasted amazing, though there was a slight aftertaste (I suspect the oat milk might have had some added sugars?). But the coffee was strong enough to keep me productive today and overall I still enjoyed it. They had some pastries which I haven't tried, seating area is rly studious and cute!! If parking was not an issue I can def see myself studying here c:. |[ o v e r a l l ]. I like it but parking and no sugar-free options are tragic for me and the reason for my star deduction (though I'd be open to coming back every now and then if it's convenient to where I'm headed)! Cute aesthetic cafe with lots of seating options inside and out. More for socializing than studying or wfh from what I saw. I got the earl grey latte which was pretty good, and my friend got the Nutella which was just alright and wasn't as high quality as a previous visit.

Very good cozy coffee shop. I like my tea really hot. They made sure it is really hot . My friend got vanilla late and he really enjoyed it and he says very delicious. They have outside and indoor sitting available

Located along a pretty busy street in Silverlake, this small coffee spot feels like a great place to either grab some coffee on the go or even hang out for a bit. It also feels like it's connected to the businesses around - almost like a mini mall type structure. I got the iced peanut butter latte. I thought it was very tasty and a great mid day treat when you need a bit of a pick-me-up. I love the taste of peanut butter and this was just the right amount of it (not overpowering). Because it is located on a busy street, parking can be a little tricky. I parked a few blocks away in the residential area. There are street meters, so you may get lucky. In an area where there are plenty of coffee spots, this is definitely another great one.

Came in for a morning drink and breakfast sandwich. I ordered the matcha latte with no sweetener- it has the earthy taste. I ordered the egg & cheese sandwich on an everything bagel- great breakfast sandwich to enjoy there or on the go. Service was quick from ordering at the counter to when it was ready. They have indoor and outdoor tables. Great place to study, meet up with friends or enjoy a coffee. They are dog friendly and keep a little jar of dog treats on the counter to give to your furry friend. Parking- street parking

Cute lil spot by in Silver lake. Street parking can be hard to find, but you could also park closer to the resivoir and walk down. The spot is really cute with vibey lighting, cute gifts, green plants, lots of seating and a stand up bar to wait at. Lots of people bring their dogs in, so be careful if the line is long or if you have a reactive dog. The baristas were very warm, friendly and upbeat which is nice to see. I ordered the pretzel, which I was so stoked about when I saw the menu! I love me a good Bavarian type pretzel sometimes. But it really wasn't the best I've had truthfully. I think there is a dip that was supposed to have been served with it as well, that I didn't receive. I also ordered the speed queen with egg and vegan schmear but they were out of the schmear. So they add a vegan butter instead. This sandwich has bbq pulled shrooms topped with house made pickled slaw on a fresh, lightly toasted kaiser roll, which had nice flavor and I truly enjoyed it. I also ordered a Nutella latte with almond milk which was good but still not a fave for me. Overall I liked this place, I just need to give it a few more try's and find the right coffee for me. Stop by, order a nice pastry or sandwich and enjoy your time there.

MAKISUPA (est 2024) is Silver Lake's brand new coffee bar located right across the street from Blair's restaurant and adjacent to Camelot School. Their indoor has an atrium-style seating area where staff serve coffee drinks. Its tranquil atmosphere definitely attenuates the stress in your work. It's my first time here and ordered a Cold Brew. It was perfectly made to my liking. Service was on point and staff was nice and competent. Prices were very competitive. They are open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and weekends from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. There is a free parking behind the building and surrounding neighborhood. Overall, I had a good experience and I recommend this coffee bar. I'll definitely come back.

Makisupa is the Silverlake Track club headquarters! I dropped by during their collaboration with Tracksmith. We went on a 5 mile run and came back to the amazing space, with coffee and beer. It's a spacious oasis with comfortable seats and surrounded by luscious houseplants. The track club meets regularly and their schedule is posted on IG.

I wanted to stop by and try this place out for a while now and finally got a chance. The coffee is delicious and the customer service amazing. I felt welcomed and appreciated. I got myself a cold brew and took a sit at the large couch for a few minutes to enjoy my coffee before heading back to work. Lovely ambiance, great coffee.

Street Parking only. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. This business is a safe place to all. They offer beverages, snacks, and food. This place is great to study, work, or relax Pumpkin Spice Latte- 10/10 Their pumpkin syrup is subtle and doesn't over power the coffee flavor. Pumpkin Chai Latte- 10/10 The pumpkin and chai work great together. *Highly Recommend* Chai Parfait- 10/10 Light and filling. The in house granola has great flavor.

Amazing coffee and wonderful service at this hidden gem of a coffee bar. The barista was very attentive, and the outdoor seating makes it a peaceful spot to relax with a friend or get some work done on a laptop. I haven't tried the food yet, but I'll definitely be back for the great vibes!

Do they have decaf?

I've seen decaf for sale in their merchandise section so I would assume yes!

Black Elephant Café has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Atwater. The vibe is cozy,…read morecreative, and just the right amount of quirky. The matcha lavender latte is the star of the show. It's beautifully balanced: earthy matcha, a gentle floral note from the lavender, and just enough sweetness to tie everything together. It's the kind of drink you think about later in the day and wish you had another. And then there's the chocolate cake . The small ugly one that comes in a mini loaf, it was rich, moist, and deeply chocolatey without being overly heavy. It pairs perfectly with their drinks and feels like a little reward every time you order it.

And it happened again, popping in spontaneously and not getting disappointed. Wonderful coffee, and…read moredelicious pastries, allowing for a relaxed outdoor coffee break. PREVIOUS REVIEW2 It's been a while since I've been here the previous time. In addition to being very nice last time (except for the logistics of ordering and the non-functioning power outlets), the please remains a peaceful oasis and the ordering process has improved since. Most importantly, the coffee remains delicious, and the tomato basil tart was a wonderful quick lunch followed by a multi berry muffin. PREVIOUS REVIEW1 Cute little place in Atwater Village!! So cute with peaceful, relaxing and quiet atmosphere (inside/outside) that I thought I could get some work done (free WiFi). The concept is a bit confusing: There are a bunch of "menu items" such as sandwiches and wraps etc, but while they are listed on a big board behind the counter, you have to actually grab them premade/prepacked from a fridge ... The Vegan Smokey BBQ Wrap was very good except for the short and transient moment when I opened the container, but after all it was actually fresh, juicy and had a great flavor mix. The Mex Mocha with Almond milk (alternatives are available) was delicious, and I paired it with a GF Orange Chia Bread Loaf. PS: I'm neither Vegan nor GF fanatic... What really defied the purpose of coming here was the non-working power outlets, and the manager not taking care of it. My laptop unfortunately does not have a TESLA battery and hence I did not last for 2 hours... PS: I neither have a TESLA nor a Prius either ... Tip: Parking on this side of the street can be tough, look on the other side ...

I'm also not sure if Wynd is part of it as well (they were located on Virgil but moved elsewhere in the Arts District), but I did notice there was some sort of pop-up happening here too. I really love the location it's in, it's sort of hidden, and you might actually miss it if you're not looking for it. You park in the lot adjacent to it, and there's a sign that leads you to walk in. It really does feel like an oasis, like some people have described, tucked away from everything. Anyways, the coffee is amazing. The attention to detail these coffee shops put into everything is the cherry on top of it all. I'm a simple gal with my iced lattes with whole milk and no sweetener, and this place just knows how to get the ratio right, smooth, balanced, and not overpowering at all. Aside from it all, this location is definitely promising and I can see a lot of other businesses flourishing here. The vibe is so Zen.

The shop and coffee area have separate entrances, and drinks aren't allowed inside the store. There's a cart/rack near the entrance where you can leave your drinks while you shop, which is convenient. I've been looking for a matcha bowl for a while and came across one from Origami. It was labeled $26, which seemed like a great deal given the quality. Unfortunately, at checkout, the staff told me it had been mislabeled and was actually $45, and they couldn't honor the marked price. I understand mistakes happen, and I did overhear them saying it was someone else's error--they weren't sure how the $26 tag ended up there. It sounded like that price might have been the original Japanese yen price without markup. I guess it really was too good to be true. Still, it was a bit disappointing since I was excited to find it at that price in the U.S. Make sure you are charged the correct price during checkout in case they made the same mistake on other products and you get charged more than what you expect. Other than that, the staff was friendly. The coffee was decent, and the seating area had a really nice vibe. I would recommend this place if you are in the area and wanted to enjoy coffee without parking hassle. It's not exceptionally good coffee but it's still decent.

So anyways Heytea was completely off my radar because I figured I wasn't their target audience (which is fair) HOWEVERRR this new guava drink has me in a chokehold!! It's not thick and chunky like their other stuff. And it's actually good?? I hate that it's good because I went from a Heytea hater to a Heytea frequenter. It's floral, fragrant and it's a perfect mix of guava and milk/cream. Never would I have thought to pair guava and dairy together BUT IT WORKS SOMEHOW. Think strawberries and cream... but guava. The jasmine tea isn't prominent but it's there as a base layer and definitely smells soooo good. The guava taste is strong and I don't know what magic they put in there but it's not artificial and gross. The cream on top is nice too! I tend to drink from the lid the first and just enjoy the cream and then afterwards I'll mix it in with the drink. It's $8 which is pricey.... But I hate that I like it. I've gotten it like 5 times this month alone. They ran out of stickers but the drink is still just as good!
