Service was fairly quick as there wasn't much of a line. An iced coffee here with a splash of milk was a quick treat. It definitely was a tad watery, and it reminded me of "just okay" airport coffee. At 480 calories a donut, why not? We where craving something sweet after quick meal at Marugame Udon. I pointed at the chocolate cookie dough donut that didn't look anything special. Even the cashier said she hasn't tried it yet. Biting into this donut at 480 calories was a great surprise. From the exterior it looks like a normal chocolate filled donut with a chocolate glaze on the exterior. One bite and you have a gushing flow of half cookie dough and chocolate custard inside. DD isn't Sidecar Donuts but this donut was surprisingly delicious especially for $1.80. Definitely, worth a bit more cardio at the gym.. So I had never been to Dunkin before and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I wish I had gone to Cinnabon instead. I tried both a donut and one of their refreshers. When I got there around 4 in the afternoon, (don't judge the late afternoon sugar craving... this is a judgement free zone.) the donuts looked totally picked over. There were many, many empty baskets. They had their Apple Cider donut advertised and since I had just finished buying Pumpkin Spiced candles at Bath and Body Works, I decided to go with another Autumn indulgence. I really wish I hadn't. Donuts aren't supposed to be crunchy all the way through. Sure, some crunchy edges are a nice touch, I mean they ARE fried. But this was crunchy and DRY, DRY, DRY. I only managed a second bite because I couldn't imagine it would be THAT bad. Luckily (?) I had ordered their advertised Apple Cranberry refresher with coconut milk. It sounds good right? Crisp, autumnal, pairing beautifully with an apple cider donut, right? It tasted like cough syrup. Not a hint of cough syrup, but fully like I had sucked down a couple of servings of Robitussin. Also, I don't know what color their coconut milk is, but once added to the Apple Cranberry juice, it was became lavender. Now, I know there are purple foods, but this wasn't even close to being actual food. I must have made a face when I drank it, because the very nice employee asked if I was okay. I waited a long time to write this review. As a native New Englander, I am a DD addict. Gotta get my dunkies, winter summer spring n' fall. So when a Dunkies finally opened up within a mile of my house, I was overjoyed. I already spent the time driving to Glendale's DD to get my fix but now there was one right down the street! The first six months of this location being opened, it was a pretty big disaster. Constantly out of things to the point where it was an ongoing joke to see which item they were out of, or what they messed up in our order. I kept going because it's Dunkies. About a month ago I noticed a huge change. The customer service was always really nice. The issues were around product stocking/ordering and consistency. It was shocking how often they were out of large cups and then try to hand me a medium coffee because they were out of large. So weird! Now the service is incredibly friendly. I even asked why they were being so EXTRA nice; I was suspicious. Also, everything is made correctly and they always have whatever I want in stock (I pretty much order the same thing, all the time). So something changed. Maybe new management? Right now, they get about a 3.5 from me due to the poor performance for so long, but they are moving in the right direction so we'll round it up to a 4. If you will be going every once in awhile, download and pay with the app for points and deals. The drive through line can get pretty crazy. Just take a right onto the street and pull into the parking lot (facing Glen Oaks). There are usually parking spaces on that side that won't leave you trapped. read more

It might be a bit too early to review this brand new Dunkin Donuts inside Glendale Galleria (Level 1, across from JC Penney). I noticed it was open two days before Christmas. Glendale Galleria is always insane during the holidays. I went very late at night. There were a few issues: 1) Very little selection. But it was a long day, so that's probably why they only had a few varieties left. 2) No Christmas decorated donuts - maybe they sold out? 3) Sloppy frosting - the worst frosting job that I've seen at Dunkin' Like other Dunkin' locations, this one has bagels, muffins, croissants, breakfast sandwiches, and drinks. A classic donut is $1.29. I know people love their coffee, but I've had it many times (because of free coffee promotions) and it's just okay. Starbucks is definitely better. If you join DD Perks, you'll get a free beverage. Credit cards accepted. read more

WOW! What a good team here! Took me a min to get everyone's name. I usually go to Burbank (service needs a lot of improvement, especially their attitude). Not only did the Glendale team make my drink lovely but they explained what was in there since what I wanted they didn't have, which is ok. They all had real smiles (not the fake "customer smile") on their faces and I enjoyed staying around and speaking to them for a min.
