The server was really friendly, and I appreciated being able to customize it with sugar, milk, creamer, or other toppings. The shop itself was very clean and had a chill, welcoming vibe. The front server was personable and engaging, which made the visit even nicer! A big plus is that it's open 24 hours and has a wide selection of donuts, which is great since most donut shops are almost sold out late at night. They are AWESOME. If you haven't watched Donut King, the documentary about how Cambodians came to rule the CA donut market -- I recommend you do. Then, go to Sam's and support this Cambodian-owned family shop. They're not about the Instagram gimmicks, just deliciously spongy fresh donuts, and super service. I love their strawberry with sprinkles, and chocolate glazed. Their coffee is excellent too (not that sour hipster sh#t). The donuts were good, the staff was nice... however I got a dozen special Valentine's Day donuts for $30 which surprised me but I wasn't going to say no after they put them in the box. I had to log on to my Chase just now 8 hours later and it says I was charged $38... now look I know for a fact she said $30 because I felt it was silly and my eyes went wide. I would never on earth pay $38 for *12 donuts*. I wouldn't tip 8 dollars for donuts either. I usually always go with my brother and he orders the turkey croissant sandwich and some donuts. The donuts are pretty good but the best are the donut holes! I also enjoy that they are open 24/7 because not too many spots around are open late at all. Then a mob of customers blocked my exit and threatened me while I was trying to film a review of the location as I rank donut shops. Basically had to fight my way out of there because the douchebags wouldn't move out of the way and we're trying to start an altercation. Worker behind the counter was completely incompetent and non-cooperative. I filmed the incident in case one of them tried to strike me which was pretty close to happening as one man actually blocked the doorway and didn't move an inch even after they told me to leave and I cooperated to get out of a wasted opportunity of a food review.
