After seeing the great Yelp reviews, I had to try this unassuming mom and pop donut shop. It's cash only (there's an ATM in the 7-11 located in the same strip mall). It's also a fairly small operation; so while you won't find a massive case with rows upon rows of every donut flavor like you might at some larger shops, from what I sampled, everything they have in their case is super fresh. Every donut we ordered was so so so delicious! The sugar twist, glazed donuts, and donut holes we got were all so soft and airy-- like biting into a perfect, sugary dough cloud! The apple fritter had a substantial amount of apple cubes in it, tasting almost like an apple pie in donut form! The cream cheese croissant was like a cheese danish but inside a fluffy croissant! On top of the deliciousness, the woman there was very kind and cheerful. I will definitely be stopping in again soon to try out more options! read more

I work with a group of people that take turns bringing donuts to the office on occasion and they bring them from all the popular places all over the city like Randy's, Colorado, Donut Friend, and Yum Yum. When I bring "Fresh Donuts" in people always try to find out where they came from and when I can bring them again. The donuts are made same day and the lady that works there is super friendly. I came across this place due to my coworker suggesting their delicious donuts so, I decided to stop by. Unfortunately!! I was not disappointed but rather impress with their service and being very attentive with every customer who walked in. What impress me the most how friendly they were to Spanish speakers by speaking to them in Spanish(pretty cool ) Food wise, I tried their #1 with no jalapeños nor pickles and had it ready under 10 min compared to other places near by (Philz, egg slut, Yoshinoya, shake shack) takes more than that. Found this place as we purchase donuts for our customers every morning. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. They do have an A and the establishment is clean. They sell lotto too for that American dream of living free and righteous . I always have the owner pick the dozen for me while i purchase a few lotto tickets. The donuts are fresh, warm and tempting! I do not eat them as I'm trying to bring sexy back and hit the gym and sculpt the body into only a body my fiancée can love LOL I recommend coming in the morning as this is the best time to get the freshest donuts and I might add they sell Armenian coffee!! Whoa, this super unassuming mom and pop donut shop has some of the best donuts I've ever had. Was in the area and was craving donuts and randomly decided to stop here. I got one apple fritter and a plain glazed and wowwww the apple fritter was so delicious and perfectly cronchy and soft at the same time. The plain glazed was like biting into a sweet, tasty cloud. This place rocks! Yummy Croissants (plain and strawberry/cream cheese) - $1.45ea. 3 small coffees - .95 ea. 6 doughnut holes - .60 (Tax is included in the prices) Delicious doughnut breakfast for 3 = $6.35 Everything was very fresh and the "doughnut lady" was very friendly and accommodating. She put our coffees in a cup holder since we were taking them to-go and helped me put the lids on each cup after I finished putting cream and sugar. If I lived in the area, I'd probably be here every single day and it wouldn't really put a dent in my wallet because it's so cheap! read more

After my bad experience at Mr Good's Donuts walked down the street to find this little donut shop....just the complete opposite of the bad attitude from the people at the other place, the lady walks out of the kitchen greeting you with a big smile on her face asking how your day is. Got my "hot cocoa" with no questions, and the donuts are perfectly fresh and yummy. Not a fancy place but a small very confortable place to chat over coffee with someone. FRESH DONUTS is the second entry in the premiere Glendale Doughnut Derby originated by me and enthusiastically supported by my friends and colleagues to whom I give 11 of the dozen. Fresh Donuts is on the east side of Glendale so I made sure I was packing. FD is crammed in among a popping liquor store, a comic book store, a Nail joint and an ammo store. I had a Buttermilk glazed and it was good. Not great but good. I have to admit a slight bias against everything and everyone at this point in the am post Starbucks visit because the heavy ass Capp spilled or more to the point capsized on my Corinthian leather seats just as I was turning into the FD parking lot. My visit to Fd was about 1030am and they had very little left and seemingly no one around in back to replenish. Odd. When i brought this up to the asian woman upfront she just smiled. My friend Joe consumed one of all the varieties and lived. He scarfed a cake, a glazed and a french donut and an apple fritter.. He gave the lot a strong 4. A dozen here is 12. 8 bucks. A bargain. What's not to like? This is your pretty standard donut place, with a reasonable selection of diabetes-causers run by a super friendly Asian guy. I was here in the afternoon and they didn't have any coffee made, but the guy said he'd brew a fresh pot for me if I would buy at least a medium size, and that's how it went down. If that hadn't happened, I would have just gone a few doors down to 7-Eleven and gotten some shitty coffee there. It's been about time I wrote this review! So this is the cutest small family owned business. Walter and Cindy run this business together. The variety of selections are just delicious I'd say!! They provide a type of customer service you'd love to experience and they're sincerely happy to give. Their donuts and coffee in the morning "scene" would be just that at the FRESH DONUTS. They know regulars (which is everyone) by name! You tend to grow with each other. If I had to count on donuts to come through every time I had my maple bar, hot cappuccino, and jalapeño ham and cheese croissant cravings (which is all the time) I'd be able to count on them! read more

Fresh Donuts (formerly Sesame Donut), lives up to its name. My sister and I had to go to the DMV up around the corner and were so spent afterward, we decided to treat ourselves to a donut and coffee. It was about 12:30pm. I didn't expect much from this place, probably because the corner shopping center it is in, is, in a word...rough. Not unsafe, just..parking is rough, etc. Sis had a cake donut, I got a raspberry jelly, and little container of donut holes for my dad. I was shocked. The jelly was outstanding. Usually most filled donuts taste like bread with glaze and filling. This donut was so fresh, it had a delicate texture to it. And I had a left over donut hole the next day, it was still as soft as the day before. Fresh.
