Found this place as we purchase donuts for our customers every morning. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. They do have an A and the establishment is clean. They sell lotto too for that American dream of living free and righteous . I always have the owner pick the dozen for me while i purchase a few lotto tickets. The donuts are fresh, warm and tempting! I do not eat them as I'm trying to bring sexy back and hit the gym and sculpt the body into only a body my fiancée can love LOL I recommend coming in the morning as this is the best time to get the freshest donuts and I might add they sell Armenian coffee!! Very good and strong. SYOY

One Yelper calls this place Best Donut Shop in Glendale, to each is own I guess someone has low standards! Wait what, where am I http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTmL4goF4nA It's 8-ish AM on a week day and the selection is pretty pathetic, yeah they have most of your basic donuts covered, fancy's were LIMITED NO Cinnamon Rolls, NO Bear Claws... yeas as others have said service is friendly and that's always a plus but, I don't give you extra stars for doing your job! Apple Fritter - http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/fresh-donuts-glendale?select=EWsNAun9e-Ka1yZVVU8k1w#QXuRDCjtAeRsqMGZtbLEag Nice donut, good amount of apple but a bit too sweet http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/fresh-donuts-glendale?select=EWsNAun9e-Ka1yZVVU8k1w#KG0NjBHM0JxC_6nQTK7IEg Yeah with all the other Donut shops in the area I don't think I'd bother going back.

This place rocks! Yummy Croissants (plain and strawberry/cream cheese) - $1.45ea. 3 small coffees - .95 ea. 6 doughnut holes - .60 (Tax is included in the prices) Delicious doughnut breakfast for 3 = $6.35 Everything was very fresh and the "doughnut lady" was very friendly and accommodating. She put our coffees in a cup holder since we were taking them to-go and helped me put the lids on each cup after I finished putting cream and sugar. If I lived in the area, I'd probably be here every single day and it wouldn't really put a dent in my wallet because it's so cheap!

These are my favorite donuts, love the classic glazed. It's a small shop with friendly quick service. Donuts are always fresh and soft.

I'm always on the hunt for a Piroshki, one of my favorite delights that I think originated in…read moreRussia and is East European by origin. I think Papillon is Armenian which I believe has European cuisine, as Armenia is considered geographically to be within Western Asia (the Middle East) and the South Caucasus region. Sitting within the mountainous Armenian Highland, it acts as a transcontinental bridge between Eastern Europe and Asia. Their Piroshki is long and thin, whereas I'm accustomed to them being robust short stocky and round almost resembling a giant baked potato in size and shape. So these look like a "Chinese Donut" a.k.a. Youtiao (油条) in size and shape, same girth but length maybe 6"-8" long. What I liked is the filling of the Beef was minced ground beef with sauteed onion bits mixed into a blend and seasoned with a bit of spice but overall was very moist and juicy and the fried dough was very good. So, I'd recommend that. Oddly, I tried the Beef and Potato reluctantly thinking the pure beef option was going to be better... and the Potato was soft and perfect so I'm thinking they're equally good depending on your mood. I tried the beef empanada, and it was very good, similar flavor of the beef empanada to the piroshki but not exactly the same, otherwise I might say the empanada is bigger and gives more protein of the ground beef. The desert shaped like a peach fruit was very good. It reminded me of Asian style deserts where they're not overly sweet and has a healthy refreshing taste more so than being too overwhelming with thick sugary creams. I found out they have multiple locations. It feels maybe the Armenian and Russian community in So Cal are more toward this area and The Valley, so I do have to take what could be a 60-90 minute journey to come here, and even longer of a commute to their other locations. I think they'd do well in the SBBC (South Bay Beach Cities) down South past Santa Monica but before Long Beach and Orange County. I'd recommend this place for the food and service.

Recommended by Armenian friends to try out this international bakery and it DOES NOT DISAPPOINT!…read morePonchik was really delicious, I don't know how else to say it. Freshly prepared and warm upon reception, loved the custard filling in particular and I strongly recommend everyone to try this at least once. We also got their perashki and it came out fresh and hot too. Total wait time was around 5-12 minutes
