As noted in other reviews, the way in which the customer service works is by transferring you to a representative that at best can only ask you to unplug your router and plug it back in again. If you have a more serious problem, then the best they can do is refer you to their mysterious "tier 2" team. They will tell you that your issue has been escalated and to expect a call back the same day or the following day. Currently, I have been waiting back to hear from this team for a month. I have called over and over again and I am unable to reach a single individual who can help me with my problem. This is a nightmare for someone who works at home and requires stable internet to do their job well. Reading other reviews and looking online demonstrates that this is a common enough problem that signing up for this service is a bad idea. If you are searching for an apartment and you find one that offers BAI connect, I encourage you to keep searching and to tell the apartment management that you will not be submitting an application because of the ISP they chose. Trust me, you do not want to be stuck in this hellish scenario of wasting hours of your time weeks on end to get no where. What you are paying for is just not worth it. I have been a customer of ATT and Spectrum, while both have their failings, I can at the very least say that I was able to get a hold of someone who could help me eventually. If your service works as intended, then great, but do not get fooled by reviews written in the best of circumstances. If one thing goes wrong you are going to suffer for it because they are either too lazy, incompetent, or just plain spiteful to help you get your issue resolved. Finally, if this review speaks to your own experience, please leave your own review on yelp and file a complaint with the FTC. They are defrauding their customers on the most basic level by denying them access to adequate customer support. When every other provider offered better deals and promotions, I was just stuck because I love the Dodgers. But when Spectrum offered an alternate way to watch them, via an app, providing you were still a Spectrum Customer through Internet use or Mobile Phone, I went to investigate. And though the first customer service rep tried selling me on an expensive cable package, the manager, Nerses, stepped in and got me the Spectrum Dodger App on great promotional deal. When the season was over and I went to cancel, he went further and gave me good reason to come looking for him when the following baseball season started. So I kept in contact with him lightly during the offseason, and sure enough, when I went back the other day, (Because baseball season is starting again), he made good on his word and got me set up on a promotion for even cheaper than I paid last year, and with faster speeds! While my love/hate with Spectrum over the years, and their monopoly on the Dodgers, may continue, at least now I can attest than I am paying the same, or less, than any other provider could offer the Dodgers network to me--if they actually had the ability to do so. And I owe this to Nerses, who went above and beyond with his customer service. And as long as I continue to live in LA, or as long as he continues to work for Spectrum, then I'll go to him first over any other providers. I went back and ended up with someone else who essentially said it must be my phone. To them my iPhone 12 was not reliable and nothing could be done to change that. I ended up buying a new phone. A week later I decided to trade my iPhone 12 in towards the cost of my new phone and I got to work with Mario. I told him the whole story and he put a new SIM card in my old phone and gave me options, going forward. The iPhone 12 continued to work just fine without issue. Basically, the first two reps were feeding me bad info, probably with the goal to sell me a new phone, instead of serving the customer. I recommend Mario, if you go to this location. He knows what he's doing and he does the right thing for the customer.
