Sevag needs to learn how to deal with customers. His attitude stunk. The way he spoke to a customer stunk. The interaction was so bad that I would never want to come into this Spectrum again. I'm seriously considering changing my service provider. I've dealt with Spectrum over the phone and I've had better interactions. Face to face coming into the store... forget it!! Our router broke, and instead of offering a simple replacement process, we were told we'd have to physically go store to store in hopes of finding one in stock. Even worse, Spectrum does not provide direct phone numbers for their retail locations, so there's no way to check inventory in advance. We wasted time and energy driving around just to be told they didn't have what we needed. For a tech company, their customer service and logistics are shockingly outdated and inefficient. If I could give Vardui from the Galleria store a 10 star I would. She helped us transition from another provider to Spectrum, and although we hit some hiccups on the way, Vardui was very patient and helped us through all the issues. She spent close to 2 days helping us resolve the various problems that came about. Her patience is unmatched. Vardui is the epitome of an amazing customer service representative. Tried to cancel my cable over the phone but you know how that goes. Saw online that best way not to get the runaround was to do it in the store. Went to this store to return equipment and cancel service and was told that they don't do that anymore and that I would have to call. I asked how I can successfully cancel my service over the phone and was told "be rude to them"! So when I called, I told them that I was only interested in canceling and not to try to get me to stay. They still tried and I told them what the lady at the store told me (ie to be rude to them). He said that they could have cancelled my services at the store and I told him that they told me they couldn't. He said being rude wouldn't speed up the process (I wasn't actually rude I just told him what I was told). I was actually able to cancel after 9 minutes which was faster than the time it took the guy who posted his tips on social media so for me it was a win. Bad customer service, very poor tech support and they are selective on who they help first regardless of appointment. I went there to exchange my equipment as I was told to do so by the agent on the phone. When I got there the wait was ridiculous, not because of the number of people but because of the laziness of the staff. There were three people ahead of me and it took five employees 30 minutes to help those three people. Then I had to wait another 5 minutes while the 5 employees helped zero people. They were all standing around talking Finally, when I was called to the counter I was told they don't have equipment at this store. They have one service people use and they don't carry the equipment for that service. The manager of this store needs to be fired. read more

This location and the billing department has to be the worst. First I've called to many time to cancel my old account yet I keep getting billed even to this day. I've paid the past due amount and when I called they said they would return it which they did. I thought this was the end yet I get charged again for a cancelled account. I had enough of over the phone incompetence. I went to the store and I had the agent there call them up and explain so they can see on the screen that the two accounts for the same location and one of them hasn't been canceled. They said they would credit the account of $139 and return to my account $139 2.5 weeks go by and nothing in my account so I called they said they would return only $107 and the $139 was never in place to be returned. I get an email saying they are returning everything now which isn't what I asked. He's the kicker that really upsets me my parents got a bill for the canceled account saying it past due they thought they would help me out thinking I'm having money issues. They went to the store and paid it why would they take money from my parents and not even mention to them that the account was canceled and no need for payment instead they took the money for an account that's supposed to be closed. read more

Horrible experience at this store. I walk in out my name down on their check in counter and then I take a seat. A few minutes later my name disappears from the screen, I think they are calling me and the two guys that were available just talk to each other and went to back. Once I see that on person available I go to them, but they take another customer that was there after me. Now it's been 20 mins, still no help. Another guy becomes available and I tell him that I was supposed to be next and explain to him that what happened and then tells me again can you wait, you will be next. I told him I should be now and just took the other customer. What is the point of checking in when they just pass your name and do not help, no attempt to help me at all. Horrible customer service and no one there to make things right. I would never go back to that store. They should learn what customer service is all about. read more

Horrible horrible service. First and foremost, their business hours posted online is not the same as their hours. So always go an hour late cause they open at 11 instead of 10 as it's posted online. Spectrum is by far the worst internet service provider and in every aspect. I can't even believe I'm doing a review for an internet provider. That's how bad they are. Their packages are a rip off, their service is not reliable and their customer service is horrendous. This is all a result of them being the only high speed internet service provider in certain areas in Los Angeles county. Most of us are bound to only Spectrum and they know it, so they charge a lot for service, they don't maintain or quickly fix outages and they hired a bunch of ghetto ass people who probably work for minimum wage. I've called them on several occasions, whether it's because of their price increases or outages, and their operators do not give a crap. What power do I have when i have no other option for high speed internet?? I even told them i was switching or discontinuing service and they said "go ahead but you won't find any other company that provides high speed internet"...and that mofo was right! Why does a large portion of LA only have one high speed internet provider??? How is that possible?? I immediately thought, "I hope Spectrum gets sued for monopoly" and I still do today. You know some politician hooked them up. There's no way that they gave no competitors in LA. Anyways, if you have options...go with them. Spectrum is just all around garbage. read more

The employees make empty promises and don't deliver. I came to the spectrum store at the Galleria to ask an employee a quick question about my bill. I literally stood there for 75 minutes waiting. There were 2 employees working in the front, but I noticed several employees coming in & out of the back door & not helping any of the customers just the two upfront. When I try to tell an employee if they can call somebody else he said we're the only 2 here which wasn't true Because I saw other employees. When I finally was called, the man that helped me was not friendly & he couldn't care less that I was standing there for over 75 minutes he could've at least said I'm sorry there was a long wait. How may I help you? Nothing. My transaction literally took less than 20 seconds at most. I would not recommend coming to this location until the staff improves their quality of customer care. Not just a long, wait time, but also how about treating people with a courteous attitude? That would be appreciated until then I'm steering clear of of the way of this location read more

Had a great experience with Spectrum recently thanks to Alex at the store. Was able to switch my AT&T account over and save a good amount of money on monthly bases. Alex was super knowledgeable and helpful. He was patient with me and AT&T while we got all my old phone unlocked and transferred over. read more

It's about the company as a whole. I finally cancelled my service and added internet with Verizon (way cheaper btw) and got you tube Tv ( again cheaper) no added fees. I returned everything as directed by spectrum and I get a connections call for $97 which btw who goes to connection for that amount!!!! They started I never returned Obed piece of equipment. I know what I had and I retiene al they gave me. So I called spectrum and they said maybe it was the chip inside the equipment. Hello!!!! There is no way I can take their equipment apart for a $97 dollar chip that's probably outdated and serves no purpose for me. Now there's a 10 day investigation. I can't believe how spectrum over charges and continues even 7 months after I have left their service!!! I am going to tell everyone so that they could leave spectrum. read more
