He found the problem quickly and got my laptop back to me sooner than his estimated date (even with this happening 1 day before Memorial Day weekend). Pricing was very reasonable as well, I definitely would have been paying 2-3 times more somewhere else. Also, I appreciate that before he did any work, he contacted me to discuss the issue, the solution and the price to make sure I was comfortable moving forward. I highly recommended him, his shop, and his services!

TL;DR: did not use their service, but they are extremely honest…read more Something was wrong with my camera because all my pictures had streaks of light on them. Also, there is a bright spot on my phone on the right side, which affects my wallpaper. I came into this place to have it checked out and see how much it would cost to repair. The tech took one look at the photo and said it's not the screen that's damaged. It's the photo is highlighting a glare in the background. He switched it to night mode, and the glare was gone, so it was clearly the photo I had as a background and not the screen itself. Also, I asked him about the streaks of light on my photos. He took one look at it and said that my lens cover is really dusty. He cleaned it off and we took a photo and all the streaks were gone. I wanna point this out because these are two things that any dishonest repair shop can easily say they will look at it and fix it and charge me $100-$200. Because of their honesty, this was a five minute visit where he did want adjustment and one lens cleaning and didn't even charge me. It's good to know that they are still honest repairman out there. If I do have a problem, I will be sure to come back here

Ando (I think???) confirmed that all we needed was a quick change on the charging port and did so within 30 minutes. In fact, he tried multiple chargers and other no-cost alternatives before changing the port, which tells me his intention is not to unfairly charge a customer for unnecessary work. Not only did Truefix quote me the best pricing but didn't try to sell me on anything more than needed. In the end even though parts were ordered and my iPhone still wasn't working properly due to internal equipment failure, was referred to only option of replacing directly with Apple. Wasn't charged a dime by Truefix and given best advice in my situation. Would HIGHLY recommend Truefix and if I ever need any phone fixed, glad to know we have a trusty La Cañada business.
