I didn't wanna have to make this review regarding this company on foothill Boulevard electronics beyond I had my phone repaired my screen and I talked to the guy about replacing the battery. He quoted me a price and if I was to pay cash, he would give me a certain price when I told him when I came back they said oh he's not here today, I called the guy. He said he didn't remember. I came back the following day and the guy said that they didn't have any record of fixing my screen on my phone. I tried explaining that the guy that had a pop-up from Apple saying this is not equipment contact Apple he said don't worry it's warranty please anytime you come we will take care of you. They had no documentation and just told me the tech wasn't there that worked on it but it's fixed. But it wasn't. Paid up front 42.00 but I'm writing it off rather than taking it back there. Sometimes on business hours there's nobody there and there's a note on the door to call a number and after a while someone shows up. Had reservations about dealing with them from the beginning. Place is very unprofessional. I would not trust them with your computer. Maybe they're better with phones but I'll never know cause I'm not going back. read more

That was quick. Only took 10 months to break it again. Also only took 10 months for my opinion to completely change. Arrived on a Saturday, yesterday and they were closed. No sign, no open close times and dark. Since I didnt check their hours, I assumed I just missed them and I'd come back tomorrow. Tomorrow comes and the inter web says they open at 9, also said they're open on Saturdays. I arrived promptly at 9 and no one is there. I kill time walking around and waited until 10. I called the number on the door and the gentleman said theyre only open 1130 to 1:30 today. Didn't seem like the phone etiquette that I'm accustomed to with a business. Fast forward to 11:30 and still no one. Others arrive. 4, people waiting, 1 walked away somewhere. Other gentlemen waiting says he called yesterday and was told they aren't open Saturdays By 11:45 I call back and was told he is running late. 10 more minutes and he arrives at 11:55. The in person demeanor seems the same as on the phone. My perception was there was no sense of urgency nor a sense of regret over his promptness. He took the phone and said an hour. I returned 90 minutes later and it was done. He asked if I got a quote which I had not but that makes me wonder why everyone isn't charged a set rate. Almost $100 later and 4 separate trips to the place and I'm done. in the end my screen is fixed. That's the one star. Not sure how a business doesnt adhere to their own hours and days. Very disappointing. As others shared my same thoughts, I can tell that the honeymoon is over. No hard feelings but I wasted way too much time, energy and money to use this place again. The fee was higher than any I had shopped and considerably higher than 10 months ago. Guy said they're short staffed but given the misleading times, days and the price, I get a bad feeling. No bueno. Called and asked for an estimate to fix a blown speaker on an old MacBook. Guy said bring it in for an estimate. When I got there he said I would need to leave it with them and a technician would take a look to see exactly what was wrong for $40 (uh the speaker is blown?) which would get credited if I decided to repair it. He should have explained that over the phone so I could have saved 30 minutes and saved gas. read more

I came here today, after making an appointment to have my IPhone back glass fixed, after I dropped and shattered it. I even broke the glass lens on the camera in the back. The fellow that helped me (assuming the owner) was really wonderful. He did an amazing job replacing the back of my phone with new glass, replaced the lens (free of charge) and even gave me a complimentary protective sleeve! My screen cover shattered when I fell down a cliff (okay, it was only about three feet but it was a hard fall) and I was afraid the actual screen on my Samsung was a goner as well. But no. My mic in my phone broke and things were ratchet for awhile. I needed to fix this prob ASAP. I went to EB and they diagnosed the problem right away. They didn't have the part I needed. They had to order the part and then get back to me. I was quoted at $45. I waited and never heard back, o figured they were busy. I called them and they had the part. They were able to fix phone within a few hours. After going back the second time, I was told the price I was quoted at was wrong and it was $65. They compromised on the price and charged me $55. Either way, I'm sure I would've paid more at the Apple store so I wasn't bothered. They have a more casual style and direct approach in business.
