They replaced my iPhone 6 screen and while the new glass looks great, it's like typing on slippery ice and there are spots bleeding through on the screen. My daughter's iPhone randomly stopped charging on Thanksgiving morning, which to a pre-teen, is comparable to the end of the world. Ando (I think???) confirmed that all we needed was a quick change on the charging port and did so within 30 minutes. So I'm writing this review while I'm still parked in front of the business. Honestly, this little repair shop trumps all other iPhone repair places. They are welcoming, personable, honest, and fair. I won't say what other shop I've been to to get my shattered screen fixed because this isn't about them, but the second he opened my phone up, he let me know that the previous store that repaired my screen didn't do a very good job at all. Really nice and hilarious interaction (I meant to ask his name because he deserves more than a 5 star rating) while he was fixing my phone for me. He only takes cash but won't tell you that until you're ready to pick up your device! GREAT SERVICE AND HONEST ABOUT THEIR ABILITIES! GREAT BUSINESS! I bought a T-mobile Galaxy S4 from a stranger on Craigslist. I took the phone to Jack at Talk and Text Wireless and he said he'd need 24hours and 30$ to unlock the phone. Before doing so, he looked up the phone to make sure it was not blacklisted and discovered it was still being financed by the original owner. Without being prompted, he informed me that the phone was eligible to be black listed, there for he could still do the unlock but if the carrier decided to, they could overwrite his work and still blacklist the phone. EXTREMELY HONEST MAN! I Appreciated the information and his professionalism, he could of unlocked the phone, gotten paid and moved on to the next customer, but thats not how these guys operate. After thinking about it, I went forward with process. As he said, it took 24 hours, I came in for the pick up; he had the phone ready and tried another sims card in the phone to ensure me it was working, i had 4g access and no errors. It's been almost 3 weeks since and i'm running Straight Talk seamlessly on AT&T towers and my phone is running it's 4G faster than my wife's Verizon IPhone! These fellas are good and know what they are doing. SN: The shop is clean and the two staff members i worked with were down to earth, funny honest people. I had to call to see if you're still there because I don't live in that area I live in the adjacent city I had tried other places and I really wasn't sure so I kept holding it off. The seems like to have more people working he there now ,good for them. And they're always very generous with giving you a discount on any thing that you need for your phone that you're repaired there. It make it easier for me because having to spend any money on repairing something that I use every day but would rather not spend the money took a little bit of the pain in the wallet. Full-service is what you get they're the pretty nice about it. I got my phone back look like a brand-new phone like nothing I've ever broken so I'm set to go back to work. PS prior to taking it the, because of urgency I took it somewhere closer to where I was. The other place tried to get me to repair other things that they said they were broken on my phone which, are not broken because I'm using it right now but tried to get me to pay some other money about $70 difference. I wish more establishments operated like this these days. My iPhone dropped into a puddle of water, and although the screen was completely black, the phone was still working. I could tell because it was still dinging/vibrating when someone would call or text. I noticed this place on Yelp, called and asked if he could help, and he said to bring it in and he would look at it. After two minutes he handed me back my iPhone and said it was just some corrosion on the connections that had built up. He cleaned it, it now works fine, and he was kind enough to do it for free. Where most places like this would have taken it into the back and then said it needed some $50 part, this man was honest and did a simple little two minute job for free, rather than price gouging me. At first I was amazed at how he said he'll do it in 15 minutes. I was very satisfied and even got a free rubber case. Within 12 hours my screen ended up cracking, I didn't even drop my phone. I took it in and he insisted that it was my fault, he said there is no way it would break without any impact.
