It was going to cost $400 to fix. I was told to come back in an hour. I did. It was not fixed. Came back 3 more times, each an hour later. He could not get my phone to come back on. He could not power it up. He told me to come back in a week as he will send it to there "lab." I said I can't be without my phone for a week. It's a personal and business phone. I said I'm going to go buy a new one and you're going to pay me for the new one. I went back. I said here's the bill for my new phone. I want to be reimbursed for the new phone. I requested for my iPhone 14 Pro backglass to get replaced and said it would take around 1-1.5 hrs. 2.5 hrs later and he still isnt finished with my phone and taking other customers before even finishing my phone repair. When he said he was done, he gave me my phone wrapped around with rubber bands and said to keep it like that for a couple minutes and was ready to charge me. I checked my phone to see if it was good and my cellular wasnt working anymore. He worked on it to no avail and couldnt fix my phone anymore. Now it doesnt have cellular, doesnt turn on and overheats easily. dont trust these guys, theyre just their for a quick buck and theyll still try to take your business and money even if they cant do it. horrible experience, horrible review. I took my iPhone 11plus in to have the speakers cleaned and the battery changed. My Apple batter was changed out for a non Apple battery. I told them I was keeping the phone not replacing it. It won't updated, I have problems with it constantly. The battery doesn't hold a charge very long and I can't backup anything on my phone. I paid $92 including tax for this problem! I'm not happy! Buyer educate yourself (I wish I had). I was initially quoted $120 to replace my iPhone 12 battery which eventually was walked down to $80 by the time I was about to walk away. (Apple Store charges $69). The gentleman warned that the 3rd party battery battery I wouldn't be able to gauge the longevity of the battery any longer. However, since installing I have also been unable to update the OS. The phone now frequently overheats. Coincidentally, I can no longer hear out of the phone speaker. When I returned with my complaints, the owner shrugged and said my phone was dirty and scrubbed by speaker with a toothbrush and rubbing alcohol (which I'd already done) and ignored the issues with the battery. The kicker is that now Apple won't replace the 3rd party battery. So don't think you're saving any time here! Such a rip off. read more

Whatever they replaced the back of my iPhone 12 Pro with was a piece of junk. They glued the back onto my phone and not only did it smell of glue, it wasn't properly sealed so you can see the gaps between the back and the perimeter (meaning chances are the phone is no longer waterproof). It dropped once off my bed (very short distance) and even with a case on it, it immediately shattered and the glue didn't hold up. $180 (includes tip) and lasted 4 days. read more

Brought my phone (samsung galaxy s9+) in on Oct 18 to replace my screen ( I had Square Trade warranty). Battery wasn't available, had to be ordered. Was told he'd call me about the battery, he never did. The employee only called me once for the screen replacement (and that was after 2 visits and calls). Bought tempered glass when the screen was replaced. Gave me a higher price than Yelp promotion (50% off). The price was $80, sold to me at $50 (not 50% off). Tempered glass started peeling off in less than 5 days. I stopped by the store sometime the following week, I showed him the edges of the tempered glass, he said I damaged it. HOW does one damage a tempered glass that results in all four edges peeling off? Seriously, HOW? I'm not sure how this happened. Maybe the adhesive wasn't strong enough, maybe it wasn't applied properly, maybe it's manufacturer's defect. It happens, I get it.  All I know is the edges are peeling off and I'd like to get it fixed. I called the store again inquiring about the battery and tempered glass on the night of Oct 25. He said he'd call his manager about the tempered glass. I never got a follow up that night. I reached out to the manager via yelp and he responded on Oct 26 (Saturday). Told him everything including the tempered glass issue. He told me the battery was ready and apologized for the situation. At first he said he didn't think there was a tempered glass promotion for Samsung. I screenshot the promotion that still exists on the yelp page. He finally acknowledged it, offered $10 refund and a replacement of the tempered glass. I showed up to the store shortly after said conversation. The manager wasn't there, just the employee. He said he was working on another phone today and couldn't work on mine at that moment. I wasn't gonna wait no more especially on a Saturday. I already wasted too much time waiting and trying to get my battery and tempered glass fixed. I wasn't gonna wait for hours or come back at later day for this. My time is valuable. I left. I told the manager via yelp I'd like a full refund for the tempered glass and I'd bring my phone to another store to get the battery and the tempered glass replaced. The manager did not answer me. And the manager did not issue me the refund, not even for the $10 he said in the yelp message. read more

Took my iphone13 for spidering crack in the back. First told it was gonna take 1.5 hours so we show up 2 hours later and he's still working on the phone. I noticed he helping every customer walking upto his counter and simultaneously training a younger guy and trying to work on my phone at the same time. After 3 hours I get my phone back and it won't fire up. I go back to tell him he broke the phone and he opens up the front and plays around with it and tells me he has to send it to corporate and it's gonna take 10 days to 2 weeks. I tell him that's not a possibility so I just wanted the $140 back and I'll take my phone elsewhere. He initially refused to refund my money til I raised hell and identifies myself as law enforcement. when I get home and take a closer look at my phone there's glue blocking the charging port glue in the speakers as well as glue all over the sides. Unless you want to risk damaging your battery, Face ID, have your screen glitch and overheat your phone for $260. Sure they can fix it in 15-20 minutes but they do not know what they're doing. Basically ruined my new iPhone 12 Pro and now I have to go to Apple and replace my whole phone with an Apple screen with a real trained professional. Dropped off my iPad and was told 2 hours and would receive a call, I left to run errands and had not heard anything back by 6pm so I returned and the man was fixing someone else's phone and had my tablet screen opened already but just sitting there. I asked him if it would be best to come back the next day and he said yes and would give me a call. Next day rolled around and I had heard nothing yet so I had my husband go and find out the status around 3pm. iPad was ready but never even bothered to call. Don't get me wrong, these are good people who work here. HOWEVER, after my experience today with this business, i know that i'll never be back. I had sent a deposit on a sunday after asking for a guarantee that i would get my repaired computer back by the following wednesday. The owner vowed that it would be ready in time. On wednesday morning, i drive over to their kiosk a bit after 10am and see nobody there. I beat the only employee to work.. Once the employee comes, he calls his boss to check the status on my order. The item was not delivered but once again i was reassured it would be ready in time. I'm not from this area, so i spent 8-9 hours at cafes to kill time. As a freelancer, this was the most infuriating part for me because i could've been doing something wayyyyyy more productive. ANYWAYS, i finally receive a call that the part had arrived. I also learned it was not the correct color... So, i can't give my girlfriend her birthday gift because the owner's words ended up being a hollow sales pitch. I'm also now late to her birthday dinner because i had to wait for this part to arrive, and will walk in to a room full of her friends and family with nothing. The icing on the cake, however, was when the owner told me, "I feel so bad, this is the best i can do for you." And proceeded to hand me a $10 voucher for his kiosk. I arrived this morning as soon as they opened and asked if the $49 for the screen replacement on an IPhone 7 was still applicable. The guy working there said yes come back in 25 minutes. I return and ask why my screen is so dark? The brightness level on my phone is ALL the way up and I still can't see anything. He says that it's what I get for $49. I said I was never told that I was going to end up with a dark screen. He didn't seem care, just pointed in the direction on their credit card screen so I payed and left. This location is located in the mall. I sent a request out via yelp for best prices. The owner responded with a $75 quote but when I arrived it turned out my lcd screen was also damaged and it was over $100 for repair. What can you do? I already invested the drive and my screen needed repair before my business trip. The guy did a great job of repair and further suggestions to prevent the screen from breakage in the future. I could not be more dissatisfied with the repair I received here. I brought my Samsung S8 to get the front screen and back plate replaced. I really wanted to like this service as the repair guy was very nice and calm. First, it does not take 1 hr to fix your phone. I was told 4 hours. I don't mind them needing more time, but at least be honest and don't post a sign saying how quick it is. When I picked up my phone, I noticed one side of the back plate was not 100% sealed. There was a crack on one side that I could lift up. I brought it back to the same guy and he agreed to redo it. When I picked up my phone the 2nd time, SAME ISSUE. I pointed to the crack and he said "That's the way it is" and "don't press on your phone, you'll break it" and "you can't let water get inside". REALLY?! I'm no genius, but I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to be that way. Upon getting my phone back, I noticed my camera didn't seem as crisp and there was a lot of weird light interference at night. I thought it was my imagination, but more on that later. Not to mention they replaced my back cover with a really cheap plastic one with no logos that picked up oils and fingerprints so easily. 30 seconds of holding my phone and the thing was the site of an oil spill. I tried contacting someone else from iProtech and no one bothered to reply. I sucked it up as a regretful purchase...until now. I highly suspect they royally screwed up my phone with that repair because my back cover popped off a few weeks ago. The battery was swelling and that damaged the LCD screen. I brought it to the Samsung Repair Center this time and they said it's likely a defective battery or it was damaged. On top of that, the technician said my camera was weirdly blurry and needed replacement. WOW. So my camera seeming -not- crisp wasn't me going crazy. So I'm guessing iProtech either damaged my battery, or replaced it with a faulty one when they replaced the front screen. And along with that, they damaged my camera too. I'm just impressed how much they screwed it up. That truly is the most impressive part of their service! Please don't trust these guys to fix your phone. Take it to an authorized repair center because these guys clearly can't fix one to save their lives. read more

I needed a new battery for my iPhone and was faced with a multitude of choices and options from a whole variety of stores. Most of them either did not have the battery in stock or would need to keep the phone for a few days and they were expensive. I went to the iProtech kiosk in the mall and they replaced the battery while I watched and waited. Took 15 minutes and cost about $60 with tax. My phone works like new. Amazing customer service! Initially contacted Mamun at iProtech about my cracked Samsung phone screen. Was very happy that he arranged to get the needed specialty size phone screen in advance and promised a repair while I waited and at a very reasonable quoted price. Once the screen was in, I left my phone with Mamun for repair. When I returned less than am hour later he explained the phone screen was actually fine. It was only the tempered glass that needed repair and he had already arranged for a neighboring kiosk to replace the glass at a significantly lower price (which I paid directly to the other kiosk).
