I hardly leave negative reviews but this was a weird store, with weirder customer service. Another ATT store in Brand/Wilson was trying to call ahead on my behalf to ask if a manager was available (my return process required one to close a phone line). Nobody picked up. Being that it was two blocks away, I decided to try my luck and just walk to this one. Upon arriving, the only two employees were busy on their phones. It was empty of customers. Seeing me, one of them greeted me while the other hid at the back (weird). I stated my case. Michael was nice; he listened and sat down with me. He went to the back to ask for help. He came back. He apologized the manager can't see me, but he said that my request to close the phone line was not possible per the (hiding) manager. I asked why, since I just came from the other store, and even called customer service to confirm my actions were appropriate. He said he's just relaying what the manager said. I'm not angry at Michael. I just find it ridiculous that the manager was indeed available, but he was using his employee as his mouthpiece, and wouldn't meet me, or explain why. And the denial for the request was inadequate, of which only the manager can answer. I left the store very perplexed and disappointed. 2 stars for Michael. Where is the 0 star choice? I don't know where to start , I mean just be prepared to have so many things added to your account that you don't want , definitely have a friend/ family take a look if you can't find what you're paying . Had a toxic ex-friend that used to work for this company and he'd always tell me how they'd add things to customers and screw them over without them knowing. On iPhone 15 release day September 22 at 8 am, I got there first and asked for the phone and mentioned that im coming from 12 hr shift work and I had to go back again at 7pm . EMILIO was taking care of me ( hah I wish) more like trying to rob me! He went on to bring me the phone but just kept throwing accessories on the table and try to push down the new first net for first responders plan. I read few online and Reddit reviews how it's worse than the actual att plan and how it's not reliable. This guy does not quit, tries to keep saying it comes with free 300 credit that I can use to buy Apple Watch , just non stop pushing down products , cases that cost over 50 dollars and chargers that are over 30 dollars per one! These people think we have been living under the rock , that they can keep pushing us and we'll eventually give in cuz there's " FREE" stuff coming with it , NO MAN IF THEY GIVE YOU FREE THINGS , something's wrong, I've been in sales for over 5 years and I know these pitches. I do have To mention, I do feel bad for those vulnerable and older generation these jerks take advantage of . Anyway, EMILIO doesn't stop and I keep telling him , "my man I gotta go just lemme have the phone my sleep schedule is disturbed already and im falling asleep already". He goes on to acknowledge but still takes forever to do things , two people behind me already have the phone in their hands, he's in the back idk what he's up to. Comes back and brings the phone with more products , FFS!!!! THIS GUY WAS SO THIRSTY AND ANNOYING . And he ended up adding insurance and signing me up for the next plan without letting me know . So I had to find out today after a month and half and had to call the CS to cancel those and ask for refund . PLEASE BE CAREFUL, these people have no souls, they are there to make sales , slam you with horrible deals and add unauthorized stuff to your plans. QUADRUPLE CHECK EVERYTHING . This store's customer service is terrible. They had my wife in there to switch her number to a family account. She is a current AT&T customer and they made the process ridiculously complicated. On top of that the rep tells her she has to call customer service - that they can't call on her behalf. So when she calls, instead of staying with her to make sure the issue is solved, this rep goes on to help other customers and then has the audacity to tell her AND THE AT&T REP ON THE PHONE that she will have to wait until they are done helping other customers. Here the deal - YOU NEVER FINISHED HELPING HER OUT! What this shows me is it's not really about customer service there. It's about selling as many phones or internet or whatever else they can get someone to buy. I recommend that you all find a different location. read more

This store opened an account on my wife's name without her permission and since that time she became a victim of fraud and collectors. Her perfect credit score ruined, nerves exhausted. All started in November of 2017. We had a prepayed AT&T simcards by that time and were ok with it. But we came in just to check other plans and unlimited options. We never signed any contract or other agreement. By the time a young man asked my wife to leave her signature we declined it and stopped the process. He was in a hurry to finish his shift and was not listening to us closely enough to understand our needs. So we left. Later we moved to T-mobile and really happy now. In a couple of months we received a bill from AT&T that stated to pay $183 for a wireless line that we never had. Usage on that line is 0 mb, 0 mins, 0 sms, so obviously we never got it. We came back to the store. There was a guy who tried to help but I guess the AT&T support and the fraud dept. never even tried to sort this out. When we called them, they just hung up when we tried to explain. Very supportive. Now it is February of 2019 and we are fed up with this. We are starting to collect all the papers with our lawyer to initiate a process at the court. Honestly, I don't wanna waste any of my time on this and I hope that AT&T will read this review and act. read more

I had purchased an iphone 13 from another location, due to time I stopped by at this Glendale location to activate the IPhone. Ever since the activation it shows that I have an outstanding balance of the brand new iphone. Some way they removed my credit from the trade in I did. It has been not one not two but going on 5 months they have been attempting to fix the situation. I am getting calls saying that I have an outstanding balance. I feel my credit is getting affected little by little. At this point I regret switching over from another carrier. Peter Tran the store manager has told me they are currently working on the problem. But I have not received a solution, I guess since it does not affect their credit it's really not a big deal to them. Dimee is an amazing representative working here! I came last August to upgrade my iphone and she went above and beyond to help me transfer all my data and my personal information to my new cell phone. Today, I returned because of our previous interaction as my phone service was acting up, AND ONCE AGAIN, she was great and promptly put in a new sim card, advising me that the service seemed fine but if it still acted up, to go to apple. I've been calling around different AT&T stores looking for availability on a specific phone, and this Glendale branch is the one that really stood it to me. Quality customer service is hard to find these days, but Ariel was so polite and helpful over the phone that I don't mind driving an extra 20 minutes to give them my business. Other AT&T stores have this generic automated answering service, but this branch simply picks up the phone right away. So damn refreshing! read more

12/16/16 I signed a contract and leased a new Iphone 7 with the "switchover" plan. I was told to upload my final Sprint bill and that I would receive a credit for the $245 for cancelling my Sprint lease and for the Iphone 6 64gb that I turned in. 4 months later I just received a card stating *we do not have a trade in record for your old phone. 1.5 hours on hold with Customer Service, no response on Twitter and finally a "chat" through AT&T's site (and 45 minutes later) the supervisor stated that the store manager was out and that the store could not find the record of my trade in. I am supposed to receive a call back in several hours from AT&T in regards to the matter. Absolutely beside myself right now as I have waited patiently for the refund and now this. The WORST!! I waited the better part of an hour to be seen, with only 2 customers ahead of me. I am a current AT&T customer. There were only 2 employees in the store. Finally, I was waited on by Armando, well, sort of...... After waiting all that time, Armando made me wait even longer, while he took a personal call on his cell phone. Armando was also watching sports on the TV that was set up behind me, and making comments to his one and only coworker, about various football players. Then the security guard walked in, and struck up a conversation with Armando. They were doing the "bro" handshake, and talking. Neither the security guard OR Armando seemed to remember that Armando was "helping me" . The conversation between Armando and the security guard only ended, because I finally said something. And only after the security guard threw a nasty look my way. The best part? I walked out with with a tablet that STILL doesn't work. I chose this store, because it had the highest star rating, (3 1/2) on Yelp, out of all the AT&T stores in my area. If it was possible to give an infinite amount of negative stars, I without question, would. I was duped into a promotion that now has a pricetag of over $700--I was told would cost $0. In addition, this salesperson (or someone at this store) used my account information to agree to a contract that I never received nor agreed to. I guess this is what happens when a salesperson wants credit for selling a promotion and will be dishonest to get it. To get resolution, I was on the phone with AT&T for over TWO hours - they eventually said that only this retailer could help.
