My Experience with Alo Yoga's Rewards Program and Customer Service I have been a loyal Alo Yoga customer for years and have spent a significant amount of money supporting this brand. Throughout that time, I participated in their rewards program with the understanding that my purchases would allow me to earn points that could later be redeemed for rewards. For several months, I repeatedly checked the rewards section to use the points I had earned, but there were never any meaningful rewards available. I have screenshots documenting that I consistently checked and found no available options. When I contacted customer service, I explained that my concern was not about receiving a discount or a special offer. The issue is that these were rewards I earned through my own purchases and loyalty to the company. I was not asking for a favor or compensation -- I was asking for access to the benefits I earned. Unfortunately, my experience with customer service was extremely disappointing. Instead of addressing the lack of availability and the customer experience issue, I repeatedly received responses referring to terms and conditions and was offered a discount code. A 10% discount does not reflect the value of the purchases and loyalty I have provided over the years, nor does it resolve the issue. I believe customers should be able to trust that loyalty programs provide real and accessible benefits. My concern is the lack of transparency and the feeling that the rewards program was promoted without a realistic opportunity for customers to use the points they earned. After this experience, I no longer feel comfortable supporting the brand. I am sharing my experience so other customers can be aware of what happened and make informed decisions. Stopped by the new Alo in Glendale looking for a specific pair of Accolades. Like most athleisure brands, the quality across the board is pretty comparable, so that wasn't really the deciding factor for me. What made the visit stand out was Neshun, the associate who helped me out. She immediately understood what I was looking for, found the right fit without any friction, and made the whole process easy. We even got to geek out a bit over anime, which made the interaction feel genuinely human instead of transactional. Overall, a great experience. I had a really disappointing and uncomfortable experience at this Alo location. I came in looking for a specific pair of shorts and asked an employee at the entrance for help. Her response felt dismissive, like "it's not on the floor?" instead of actually trying to assist me. What made it more upsetting was that right before me, she went out of her way to help another customer who looked more put together and "American-looking," while I came in dressed comfortably. I waited my turn and was polite, so the difference in treatment really stood out and made me feel discriminated against. I was also told they didn't have the shorts I was looking for, but I ended up finding them myself. When I later called to speak with management, Mauricio, the manager, refused to provide the employee's name and said they would "speak to her." He also tried to excuse it by saying the store was busy, but at the time I was waiting for help, there was only myself waiting after the previous customer. That did not feel like a valid excuse. I understand stores can get busy, but customers should still be treated with basic respect and equal attention. The leadership, service and customer appreciation at this store is zero! We spend a lot of money for items and they treat their customers as if we're at a discount store. Bottom line the employees , cashiers etc.. are just robots and managers have no idea how to bring back customers for more shopping. Example we spend over $600 ( no sale items). Usually they offer the ALO duffle bag for over $250 but cashier first initial M...., said they were all out! I like any normal merchant and adult said no worries let me have a rain check and whenever you get some I'll get one! She went to manager named Jessica and came back and said my manager said no and no exceptions! We CANT GIVE YOU A FREE BAG WHEN WE GET THEM IN!!! Someone from corporate should see this and coach their glendale managers. Americana management for a merely free bag ( she could have just said no worries) I'll take care of my customer who just spend $$650 bucks. In addition to this, she went above and beyond in assisting me with my shopping needs as I felt completely unsure about what sports attire I wanted. Very disappointed in Alo, around 6:05pm last night September 22, 2025 i was shopping and had the worst customer experience ever no one was around to help ,except for a young lady in the back area of the store by shoes. I was ready to check out and wanted to get help on some items but no one was around to help, there was a line at the register with no cashiers or people to help in this area. I then noticed 4 female employees in a group talking by the front of the store ignoring the customers because it was a few of us in line waiting to purchase. Alo needs to hire better employees this is unacceptable!!! We pay a lot for this behavior do better!! And management are you even aware you had 4 woman one wearing glasses and two very skinny ones. One had a braided pony tail and another tall one .There is no way they couldn't help the guests it's seems as though the people in the back run the store so ridiculous never coming back horrible customer service !!! read more

I'm super irritated because I went to alo a week and a half ago right around when the sweet pink stuff dropped to look for the accolade shorts in pink. They didn't have any on the floor but I found my size on two mannequins and asked if I could buy them, not a huge deal if there was a reason they couldn't. They originally said yes and then came back and said no because they would have to redress the mannequin and they wanted to have the pink on display (even though they were completely out of stock of the item). I went back the next day like they said to check if they had more. Unfortunately they didn't (no problem) but they also sold both pairs of shorts off the mannequins. I don't mind them being sold out but being told less than 24 hours prior they can't take them off the mannequins to them both being gone the next morning is super frustrating. read more
