Bridge Thrift is one of thrift stores that pride itself on sourcing higher quality used inventory. This is one of three locations in Southern California (flagship shop in San Diego, Glassell Park, and Highland Park). Unlike other thrift stores, Bridge Thrift is a for-profit organization because nonprofits are not required providing their employees with parental leave and healthcare. As a for-profit organization, Bridge Thrift will not be able to provide tax-deductible receipts. [Parking - 2-Star]: This Glassell Park location has a small but limited parking lot right next to the store. If all spots are taken in the private lot, then good luck on finding street parking spots because I couldn't find any of them at all. [Size & selection - 4-star]: Good size with plenty of different options. Not too many to choose from for men clothing, but plenty of options on women clothing, random household/electronic items, few furniture, toys, jewelry, etc. [Organization - 4-star]: Pretty organized and it wasn't difficult to navigate the thrift store. [Price - 3-star]: Hit-and-miss on prices as they seek to price items at the right value to honor the investment of their donors. [Service - 5-star]: Friendly service - we accidentally broke one of the light bulbs and the staff was able to clean up glass shards and didn't ask us to pay for the whole set of light bulbs. Overall this is one of better all-around thrift shops in LA county.

This store receives tons of good quality inventory via donations & used to be slightly pricier than other thrift stores. However recently have been pricing astronomically higher than they used to Check other reviews but make sure to sort by most recent. Everyone who has taken the time to leave one is sharing the same message: Bridge Thrift is overpricing inventory that they receive for free via donations I'm no longer inclined to shop here as they are no better than your local Goodwill

Stopped into this thrift store the other day & must say that the staff is absolutely stellar! Eileen and M'Lisa (the managers) were running around really engaging with the customers & really created such a welcoming & fun environment. They even color coordinated a book/CD shelf. It's definitely worth a revisit!

I stopped to check out this thrift store since I was in the area. I must say this is one of the most organized thrift stores I've visited. The wide selection of products is fairly priced. Eileen the manager on duty when I visited was super helpful and friendly as well as the rest of the staff. I look forward to coming back and seeing what other hidden treasures I'll find my next visit!

I made a donation here the other day because the goodwills in my area one had a big pile of donations and one was closed. I didn't want to go too far but found this store. M'Lisa helped me out with taking my donations and Eileen was very patient and informative with any questions I had. I loved how organized and clean the store was. For me there was a great selection of pants and tops. I will be coming back for some dishes I saw. Will definitely keep coming back!

Popped in today around 2:30pm to shop and it was not busy. So I got to take my time through the aisles. Saw some jeans and a shirt that I liked. Tossed them in my basket. Then I went to the book section and was amazed at all of the different types of books. Self help, fantasy, autobiographical, thrillers and more! I actually picked up four supernatural style novels. Checking out was easy. The cashier was friendly and saw that one of my articles of clothing had a green tag. Which meant 50% off! There's a free condom display for practicing safe sex. That's amazing! Oh, and on Saturday, February 21st 2026 they are having $2 sale in the parking lot. I will definitely start following them for their monthly $2 sales!

I absolutely love supporting this organization and enjoy visiting their stores because they are the place to go for incredible vintage finds and one-of-a-kind treasures. I stopped by on a Sunday morning and there was a small line waiting to get in. The darling gal that opened the door greeted us with a cheerful "Hello." She was fabulous - walking around enthusiastically telling customers, "That is perfect for you" in Spanish. The excitement was definitely in the air because I happened to overhear one gal's phone conversation. She said, "My mom kept telling me to come were to find a jacket for my trip. I finally said o.k. so she would leave me alone and guess what? I found the perfect jacket and it's my size! I hate it when my mom is right." I had to laugh. Her mom is right though, this store has a vast selection of clothing, jewelry, accessories, furniture, houseware, and other items. Most shoes & clothing are priced at $10. Of course, I fell in love with a stunning Roberto Cavalli dress. Unfortunately, it was $250. I also saw a pair of beautiful Louboutins for $45 but they weren't my size. However, I did score a great little black dress and a pair of sexy L.A.M.B. heels for $10 each. Perfect date night outfit! Now I just need to find a date. LOL!

I made a list of thrift shops near our neighborhoods (I'm in DTLA, he's on Mt. Washington), and designed a route to take. Public Estrellas was our first stop--and it was the only stop he needed to make! Within minutes, he found a Columbia Snow Glide Interchange Jacket *and* a beautiful trench coat with a removable fleece lining--both in practically brand-new condition. Because the prices were so affordable, he got both! I wasn't in the market for anything, but looked through their dresses and tops, and was impressed with the quality, the pricing, and the impeccable organization of the store. Exceptionally well-lit, so clean, and the women at the front were delightful! I'll be returning for my own wardrobe additions soon. Because he wanted to look for a backpack, we headed to the next thrift store on our list--St. Vincent's--where we've both enjoyed shopping in the past. It's a very different experience, of course, but in going through the women's clothing, I was deeply disappointed by their pricing. A dress that cost $7 at Public Estrellas was $17.50 at St. Vincent's. It's no wonder that St. V's is overcrowded with inventory. If they priced their items like Public Estrellas, they'd have a better turnover. Viva Public Estrellas!

First off this place is huge! There's so much to browse through, and most sections are fairly well organized, though a few shelves and aisles looked pretty picked over and messy, which I mostly avoided. Still, the selection here is impressive. They carry everything from furniture, purses, shoes, and clothing to appliances, books, CDs, VHS tapes, DVDs, jewelry, electronics, vinyl records, dishes, and toys. My brother-in-law and I spent some time in the toy section and we both actually ended up leaving with some teddy bears. His was only $3, and when he looked it up in the store it was worth up to $70--he was so excited about that find! Overall my personal experience was very pleasant and the customer service I received was great. Most employees seemed friendly and helpful. I did notice a slightly awkward interaction between an older female employee and another customer browsing near the VHS/DVD and jewelry counter. The employee called out "next," which made it seem like she thought the customer was ready to check out. When the customer didn't respond right away, the employee called out louder to get her attention kinda sounded annoyed. The customer looked a little caught off guard and replied that she was just browsing before continuing to look around. It was a bit of an odd moment, but when that same employee ended up checking us out, everything went smoothly and we had no issues. Overall it was a fun thrifting trip and I'd definitely come back again. Next time I want to spend more time exploring the clothing section!
