The staff here is so welcoming and sincere, and are not afraid to strike up a warm conversation. The store is run very efficiently for consignors as well -- I've consigned many men's designer that have sold quickly here. I'd say it's easier to find nice designer womenswear. Men's designer is harder to find, but at times you'l get lucky with designer menswear.

I purchased two candle holders and later got a voicemail saying I owed an additional 33 cents because they'd undercharged me. Odd amount to call about, but I was out of town and didn't call back right away. The next day I answered a call (that turned out to be from them) asking for someone else entirely. Assuming the number was possibly spam, I googled the number, saw it was Trove, and then emailed them directly, saying I understood I owed 33 cents and asking for an invoice. They corrected me. I actually owed $33, not 33 cents, they couldn't send an invoice by email, and wanted me to call and give my card info over the phone instead. After everything already off with this (the wrong number call, the 33-cent voicemail, no email invoicing), I didn't feel comfortable reading my card number to someone over the phone. I offered to stop by in person instead, and asked in advance if they could have a receipt ready showing my original 33 cent charge, so I wouldn't be making the trip for nothing. I rearranged my lunch break to make this happen and showed up as planned. No receipt. They said they'd emailed it, but I'd specifically asked for a printed copy, the least they could do given this was their error to begin with. That request took several days notice and still didn't happen. Their printer was "acting up," so I got no receipt for the original charge and none for the new $33 charge, either! An error on their end turned into a special trip, wasted time on my lunch break, and still no paperwork to show for any of it. Disappointing customer service, especially when the customer is the one who has to burn their own time fixing your mistake. Edited to add, following their reply: I was never contesting the dollar amount being charged. I was happy to pay for what I purchased. I stated that they asked me to call in my card over the phone. I addressed why I was uncomfortable with doing that, and had asked for a way to provide payment electronically. When that option was not available I offered to come in. My disappointment is that despite their error, the wrong amount owed left on my voicemail, a random "wrong number" phone call from them, and inability to accept payment over something like square invoicing / Venmo / etc., all I asked for was a printed receipt. If someone has to make time to come in and fix your error, it's the least you could have done. I'm now even more disappointed in them after this response.

I love the variety of items they carry, and the employees have always been friendly, and welcoming. They have an impressive selection of clothing, shoes, glassware, collectibles, furniture, and vintage treasures, and it's always interesting to browse. That said, the prices are much higher than what most people expect from a thrift store. Traditionally, thrift stores exist to provide affordable clothing and household items while supporting the community, especially during times when many families are trying to stretch their budgets. Unfortunately, many of the prices here feel much closer to what you'd find in an antique or resale shop. I would honestly suggest renaming it to something like "Bridge Resale Store" because I think that would better reflect what customers can expect. It's still a great place to shop if you're looking for unique or vintage items, but if you're expecting traditional thrift store pricing, you may leave disappointed. I enjoy visiting and appreciate the staff and the quality of the merchandise--I just wish the pricing better matched the mission and expectations that come with the word "thrift."

First off this place is huge! There's so much to browse through, and most sections are fairly well organized, though a few shelves and aisles looked pretty picked over and messy, which I mostly avoided. Still, the selection here is impressive. They carry everything from furniture, purses, shoes, and clothing to appliances, books, CDs, VHS tapes, DVDs, jewelry, electronics, vinyl records, dishes, and toys. My brother-in-law and I spent some time in the toy section and we both actually ended up leaving with some teddy bears. His was only $3, and when he looked it up in the store it was worth up to $70--he was so excited about that find! Overall my personal experience was very pleasant and the customer service I received was great. Most employees seemed friendly and helpful. I did notice a slightly awkward interaction between an older female employee and another customer browsing near the VHS/DVD and jewelry counter. The employee called out "next," which made it seem like she thought the customer was ready to check out. When the customer didn't respond right away, the employee called out louder to get her attention kinda sounded annoyed. The customer looked a little caught off guard and replied that she was just browsing before continuing to look around. It was a bit of an odd moment, but when that same employee ended up checking us out, everything went smoothly and we had no issues. Overall it was a fun thrifting trip and I'd definitely come back again. Next time I want to spend more time exploring the clothing section!
