Trove is a wonderful resale and consignment store. They have a huge selection of gently used items. You can get designer or name brand clothing, all sorts of accessories, purses, shoes, things for your home and they even have a baby section. Their prices are quite reasonable. Many items are up to 80% off what you would pay for great clothes and bags. They also have some nice art now and again it is all fairly priced. This is not a Salvation Army type store, yes, all items are used, but all are designer or something you may have seen in a store. They do not have a huge vintage section and that is fine. It has just really nice things that I would end up paying a lot more for new. The service is great. The staff is nice and knows what is in the store and where. If you are looking for a nice bag, they have it or some nice clothes. I have bought a few things there and I have never been disappointed. read more

Last summer, I went to Trove and bought the cutest red leather jacket. I also found Gucci sandals. The problem was there was only sandal. They took my phone number and said they would call when they found the match. I gave them my number and about a week later, they called and had found the match. I returned and bought it. Yesterday, we went there and bought a few things. Super cute stuff and fun to shop. My daughter found new Stan Smith Adidas. They couldn't sell them because they lost the key to unlock the block thing that the alarm goes off if cut. Again, I gave my number and today, they called and found the key. Although the store may be a good place to sell your used clothes and knick-knacks, I would strongly advise not taking anything of real value there. They make you sign a lot of stuff electronically, will not price your items while you are at the store, price them dirt cheap a few days later and not give you a real opportunity to decide if their offer is fair. read more

I love the name - to me it sounded like a clever play on a treasure trove and the French trouver ("to find"). This is a consignment store, so prices are higher than you might expect if you're used to church or traditional secondhand shops. See the photos of the merchandise and pricing to give a realistic idea of what's available. One thing I noticed was the plus-size selection, + there are changing rooms, which is always a plus when thrifting. There is a dedicated parking lot, but when I visited the store was very busy and the lot was full. I ended up parking on the street behind the store - just be aware of street cleaning on Thursdays and Fridays. Otherwise, parking there is fine. While the staff was young, dressed young and genuinely nice, the merchandise itself felt a bit dated -- not in a cool vintage way, more in a "recent past" (like Macy's brands), frumpy-fashion kind of way. That said, I did find a couple of fun pieces under $20, and it seemed like other shoppers were finding things as well. I love a good thrift store consignment store! Trove LA has it all! I am going to tell my celebrity stylist friend all about this treasure chest! Trove LA has it all! From hard to vintage pieces to the latest styles and designer luxury pieces. I'm a shopper... so I know prices. A few items were priced a little over, but for the most part and for the quality of the items that they are hanging, it's worth it. There's a lot of really cute houseware items towards the back of the store. You can really find unique items there...if you are a set designer, this is a really cool place to find some interesting and unique pieces. I know I'm gonna be in trouble at this spot. They offer good consignment rates. The store is very clean. The employees were very friendly. Very attentive in the dressing room. Which I did like that. Who doesn't like to feel a little spoiled? All in all there's a little bit of everything in this store from different hats to perfumes and sunnies! They even offer a little discount when you check in and leave a review so make sure you check in and leave a review... This is a spot you don't wanna miss you might not find what you're looking for the first time... you know how it is when you're looking for things in a consignment or a resale store gotta keep going back to see the new rotation of things! Thumbs up for having a few parking spots. Enter the pizza place parking for this. Most of the merchandise is overpriced. Came for housewares. They have a big selection, ranging from good marked down prices to expensive. Nice jewelry selection, too and small women's clothes and handbag sections towards the back. Storefront and display tables by the entrance are eye catching. Salespeople don't acknowledge you and only interact when you approach them. This is a good consignment shop but could be great IF they priced things a little more affordably to move things quicker to make room to actually shop the racks. I couldn't separate or pull out any clothing in my size because it was so tightly packed in, there was zero wiggle room. I got exhausted trying to pull things of interest out and fight them back in on the rack, I gave up. Note to the owner: if the buyer can't see it, they're not going to buy! I'm sure they're losing a lot of business because of this. Also, several things were priced at the sales price you could get the item for new in the store. As a consignment/thrift shopper, I want a deal. There were few deals to be had. Positives: everything looked to be quality and free from flaws. They do an excellent job on that. The place also smelled good, which is hit and miss with second hand stores. I didn't get any icks here. Make more room to move clothing on your racks and adjust the prices down a little and this would be a 5 star joint read more

We have enjoyed shopping at this place parking seems a lot more reasonable than going to Crossroads or buffalo exchange and it's a faster line. There is also more diversity in items as they have houseware as well and sub miscellaneous stuff that you can't find in some of the other stores. A great way to get some great stuff that are namebrand and to get rid of some items that you're no longer using. read more

I have been with Trove for a year. it took me awhile to learn the ropes but now I am in love with this store. I find great deals on many brands that I love. make sure if you consign you ask a lot of questions because the system is overwhelming when you are new. There is always a bargain so check the bargain 50 to 75% corner and 300 new items every day. Every week there is a bargain color for 50% off. Best store to consign with. 50% of credit if you item sells if you decide to use it in the store. 40% cash. That is a high amount. There's not a lot of vintage/thrift shopping around this area of the westside, and I was pleasantly surprised by my visit at Trove. I was immediately greeted by the staff and filled in on the sales and discounts offered for the day. I ended up spending more time there than I thought, the selection is pretty big and the items were reasonably priced. I bought two purses for $18 and $25 and they were in great condition. I overheard that they switch out items often, so I'll be back in a few weeks to see what new things they have. I also overheard that if you choose to consign with them, they keep 60% of the sale and you keep 40%, if anyone is interested in that. read more

This place is fun to check out every now and then -- you can find some great designer pieces, and the home decor section is tiny but packed with cute knick knacks. I found 2 postmodern-style vases there for cheap. Having said that, the customer service is non-existent bordering on rude. Mostly kids in their twenties who don't seem concerned with customer service at all. This is disappointing because part of the joy of secondhand shopping is that the employees are usually just as excited about the pieces as you are -- not bored and disaffected. They also don't provide clear guidelines on what they buy, even when asked. I've brought some beautiful designer pieces that have been rejected, only to see the racks containing ANCIENT designer pieces that are out of style or objectively ugly, and lots of cheap fast fashion like Zara and Forever 21. The obsession with overpriced Zara in secondhand stores needs to stop. The prices are also all over the place and seem to be based simply on what the person working that day felt like. You never really know what you're going to get, and there is no negotiating. If you're a label-focused shopper you might have luck. But overall there are a lot better "upscale" secondhand stores in LA with better prices and customer service. read more
