. Love. Eshgh in Farsi, The language of Iran/Persia. More specifically, "gods love" or "Agape" in Greek which means the love of the divine creator, which flows to us all. The proprietor and artist of this gallery is a conduit from God/Allah, Who creates the most beautiful and divinely inspired art. He has three dimensional calligraphy in Farsi which says the word for love, and beautiful Farsi calligraphy. The ones in metal on a beautiful colored background objets d'art," what are uniquecall beautiful museum or the pieces. He also has jewel like pottery, traditional objects, textile art, and many other things that are outside of my naïve American culture. These arts come from inspirations from ancient Iran. The proprietor is a lovely man who is very kind. The store is small and unassuming but you walk in and it's like walking into I hidden treasure trove from the Arabian nights or some fortress of jewels. I keep saying Jules because of the Jewel Lake colors. This place is a Jim!

SIX STARS! I am really surprised to see that there aren't hundreds of five star reviews here! It's probably because this little gift shop must be LA's best-kept-secret... Let me just start by saying that this is "the most eclectic gift shop" with truly unique items geared for every taste and budget. You can find all kinds of off-beat 3D frames, breathtaking vases, incredible pitchers, and stunning trays, all decorated with messages of love and spirituality. The messages are made of thin layers of wooden alphabet letters that are pasted on the items, creating an exotic and fanciful piece every time. Each item is a conversation piece..... You must see it to believe it. Aside from all that, let's not forget the jewelry, artistically designed clothing, accessories, and knick-knacks (i.e.: candle holders, smartphone protectors, mirrors, books, trinkets, etc), not to mention the highly impressive handmade home décor and unique furniture... Need I say more! I found this place because I was in search of Khatam frames at a few select shops. I stumbled upon this place and ended up buying two most beautiful decorative table covers of all time. I am posting a few pictures of the store and some of what I enjoyed looking at. I hope you will like it too. The owner is the actual artist and he is a very nice man. When I was there, the store was packed with other customers. The owner acknowledged everyone separately and helped everyone in a very friendly way. He was professional, courteous, and patient. Most importantly, he was proud of his work and enjoyed explaining the meaning behind each piece to his customers, to make it that much more interesting. Bottom line, if you are looking for a delightful experience with gifts that will in no way compare with the mass-produced junk found in most shopping malls, then you have to come here! You will walk into a gorgeous place and you will find "AMAZING" gifts. GUARANTEED!

    Beautiful gift shop.

This store is all about love ... You should see it your self. Beautiful hand made calligraphy By Bahman Bennett. Semi temple of Rumi with Farsi calligraphy. If you are looking for a unique gift this is a place to look at.

I've bought many beautiful dresses from this boutique. All the dresses are very unique and beautifully designed. They can be a bit pricey but definitely worth it.

I came to purchase a candle a few months ago and I was ripped off by the owner. Not ethical/honest business practices.

Their prices are quite reasonable. Many items are up to 80% off what you would pay for great clothes and bags. They also have some nice art now and again it is all fairly priced. This is not a Salvation Army type store, yes, all items are used, but all are designer or something you may have seen in a store. They do not have a huge vintage section and that is fine. It has just really nice things that I would end up paying a lot more for new. The service is great. The staff is nice and knows what is in the store and where. If you are looking for a nice bag, they have it or some nice clothes. I have bought a few things there and I have never been disappointed.

They took my phone number and said they would call when they found the match. I gave them my number and about a week later, they called and had found the match. I returned and bought it. Yesterday, we went there and bought a few things. Super cute stuff and fun to shop. My daughter found new Stan Smith Adidas. They couldn't sell them because they lost the key to unlock the block thing that the alarm goes off if cut. Again, I gave my number and today, they called and found the key. Went back and got the adidas.

I recently began working in the area and have started to slowly venture out to try and get in some part of my regular mid day walks. I searched maps for "shopping" to try and get a feel for what's around and Brandy Melville was one of the selections that caught my interest. The store is small, yes and it's fully stocked - every last square inch. I felt the pricing was totally reasonable/affordable and did notice the one size sizing which is interesting but works for some pieces. I tried on a few items that I didn't love but ultimately snagged the perfect little knit American Flag sweater just in time for Memorial Day weekend. Service was excellent! All the girls working here were totally sweet and helpful. I'll definitely be popping in from time to time. In fact, I just stopped in this week and spotted other cute sweaters - this may be a new go to sweater spot for me. In terms of parking, I walked from my office so I have no clue what the parking situation is like since it was totally non applicable in my case.

But then again a ton of celebrities…read moredon't know how to dress themselves, and most of their stylists just pore through runway images and slap on whatever the general trend is on their clients. Milk is genius in picking apart all the ugliest and most unflattering silhouettes from the runway--voluminous balloon dresses, remember? And the "hottest" (trendiest) labels--I believe they call this "minimalist chic" which in fact is a piece of fabric sewn to a smaller piece of fabric, worn over your head with a $350 price tag. I can see how rich folks can buy their overpriced, ugly "designer" clothing here, this is where all of it can be found. The salespeople don't care about you either, well, unless you were some sort of Mischa Barton or out-of-work celebrity who graced the covers of tabloid magazines for a couple months. I bought 2 notepads here. Don't get me wrong, I like some of the designers they carry at Milk, but the merchandise is just flat and unexciting. If I'm going to pay $300 for a tee, it had better not look like I got it at Wal-Mart.
