Had such a great experience at Aritzia Century City today. Everyone was very kind, but Emily and Raquel especially went above and beyond helping me. I came in feeling stressed and overwhelmed because I couldn't find what I needed, and they were both so patient, professional, genuinely kind, and incredibly helpful the entire time. The staff at Aritzia are very friendly and helpful, patient with questions and willing to help. The store is spacious and well organized, and this Canadian brand's style is simple and elegant. Their clothes are mostly made of quality materials like organic cotton, although it's on the pricy side, for instance, $25 for three pairs of socks. This was my first time popping into this location and overall a pretty good experience! Multiple people checked on me to make sure I was okay and start a fitting room for me so I didn't have to carry stuff around (but not to the point of being annoying). The team managing the dressing rooms were like the OH hype squad for trying clothes on and helping me pick out which color suit set I got for an interview. They don't have the sizes I needed in stock so I was able to order online and have it shipped directly to me. Only snafoo was they entered my address wrong and I didn't realize until I was walking out checking the receipt so I had to walk back in and wait for someone to correct it for me. The prices are quite high so i definitely wouldn't do all my shopping here. When I left the line to checkout was LONG AS ALL HELL so I'd definitely come early if you don't want to wait. read more

Beautiful store, great location, friendly sales associates! Clean & organized easy to see the displays and see the items were actually in supply, some stores have beautiful displays but none of the clothing is on the rack, so happy they keep their displays updated according to what's available to purchase, loved that! Jared was incredibly accommodating in grabbing all the sizes I needed plus giving suggestions, and Gigi was so sweet in helping me pick out the right pieces as I was trying on in the fitting room. Extremely disappointed! I returned a $450 coat within the strict 7-day return window, and nearly two months later I still dont have my refund. Customer service is horrible and has taken no responsibility or meaningful action to resolve the matter. For a company selling high-priced items, this level of customer service is unacceptable. Nice store where you can find fashionable up-to-date clothing that is hard to find elsewhere. The quality of the merchandise here is better than what you would find in other department stores. I found a Babaron Jacket here which is hard to find elsewhere. They carry so many good brands, Richard Sierra, Citizens Humanity abs many more. Nice store. read more

They make it impossible to return anything. They didn't want to take a return because the tag wasn't in the right place. I spent $500 and was just returning 1 bra. I didn't move the tag! It came like that. Their clothes are literally made in China and Vietnam. They be acting crazy for no reason. It costs $0.50 cents to make your clothes. I had an online order that was delivered to the wrong address (had photo proof from the delivery confirmation) and Aritzia customer service refused to replace or refund the items after their "internal investigation" so I lost $240 on the order. Ordered at CC store because out of stock on a jacket. I received an email from Aritizia wanting my credit card information to refund but they NEVER shipped the item but wrote package denied. LIE. So called. first person named Bruno does not comprehend English well.  Worse,  Trinity (lead supervisor) sent an email indicating the matter was resolved, but actually it is NOT resolved and I am required to provide my credit card details over the phone which consumed at least two hours of my time. Additionally, now, I  required return to the store for a refund.  After this matter is resolved I will NOT shop again. read more

This has always been one of my favorite retail shops. My daughter Kiley took me on a shopping spree when I went down to Los Angeles to celebrate Mother's Day. This store has amazing designers and the clothing fabrics are top notch cottons, silks and unreal blends that are so soft to the touch. I saw so many things I just loved but this store is a bit pricey even for my liberal standards! My daughter encouraged me to get a new pair of jeans since I hadn't bought a new pair since skinny jeans were all the rage! They carried the Levi's brand so I tried on some called "Dad Jeans". I was cracking up at the name but they fit like a dream. I have always been a fan of the skinny's but these were a bit high waisted but I loved the leg. I haven't had a pair of Levi's since I was a child, I prefer the designer brands much more. These were a reasonable $109. The salesgirls were all so friendly, accommodating and so sweet. The checkout girls not as nice. They also had amazing thick athletic socks so I got us each a set of 3, for $8 a set. I got outta there without doing too much damage. First time Aritzia shopper: This was the first Aritzia I ever stepped foot in, and that is only because the person I was with wanted to come here. I've never even heard of this place until it came to Century City, but I liked how I was able to browse the different sections, from Sunday Best to Wilfired. I didn't find anything on this visit. Fast forward about eight months later, I complimented a girl on her adorable white dress, and of course it happened to be from here-specifically Sunday Best-and it came in a couple different lengths (she had on the midi but it also came in mini) as well as colors. Needless to say, this brought me back into Aritzia, where I had a really helpful salesgirl assist me tracking down the dress in black since that particular color was available in-store in multiple sizes (2XS, XS, S, etc.) I have to say this is the first store that makes me feel...big. Normally I'm the smallest size by default, but I ended up being most comfortable in a size small which is a game changer. Perhaps their sizing runs smaller, but I'm just happy I fit into the dress of any size so I could get an idea of how it would look. One thing I am not crazy about is how there are no mirrors in the fitting rooms; you HAVE to come outside for that, therefore you are in front of everyone that is sitting there. Thank God the item fit and nothing was riding up but I can imagine this happening for other types of clothing. Since they didn't have the color I wanted, I didn't end up purchasing here, but had better luck at another location. I bought a $300 gift card that when I went to use had about $6. It was with me the whole time, purchases were made in two different stores. Customer service took over a week to tell me there is nothing they can do and I should file a police report. My guess is there are some really sneaky employees running a scam! I recently purchased something last weekend and accidentally grabbed the wrong size. I came in yesterday to do an exchange and asked SA Janel (sp?) if I should take my item to the counter first and then find the size I wanted. She was very friendly and offered to find the size I needed and when it wasn't on the sales floor she went to the back to grab me the right one. She said she wasn't a cashier but she grabbed someone to process the exchange for me. It was such a smooth experience and I appreciate the effort and friendliness. read more

They all make you feel like you are so special and go out of their way to ensure that you have a great experience in the store. This location has the WORST service ever!! A bunch of employees working yet not one person asked if I, or anyone around me, needed help. Most of the employees were more interested in chatting with each other or just finger spacing the same racks for 10 minutes. I ended up having to find someone to see if they had a size and they made it seem like it was a bother. For the love of god, if you're not going to do your job and at least act like you enjoy it, then quit! No one is forcing you to work there. I shopped at Aritzia for the first time ever last week, and it was an incredible experience! I met two sales associates who were extremely helpful: Marybel and Pima (? gosh, I apologize that I can't remember the last syllable of her name). They were both very welcoming, and educated me about their store. Marybel even helped start a fitting room for me. I only handed her a pair of jeans, and she magically picked out two tops there were exactly my size! They looked GREAT with the jeans, so I had to buy them. They sent me an item completely different from the one what I ordered and then made me jump through hoops, taking photos of labels, etc., to return it and then I had to reorder, as if I'd made the mistake. I have not had a good experience at this location. I truly like this store and the quality of their clothing is amazing but the staff and service at this location isn't good at all. It's been multiple times that I've came here and everytime I come here i feel very unwelcomed, the staff never ever asks me if i need help while shopping and when i ask for help I get ignored, staff sometimes looks at me up and down which makes me only want to shop online because that is the only way I won't feel discriminated . It would be appreciated if i got treated like the rest. read more

I've been shopping at this aritzia for a few years and usually the SAs are fine, not super helpful or friendly like some of the other stores (e.g. the one in Bellevue which I used to visit a lot when I lived there). However, I've recently had two very bad experiences with the SAs there when I was doing returns. I thought that's just because it's in Century City and the demographic there, but after reading a lot of other reviews on both Google and Yelp I realized that a lot of other POC also had bad experiences and my less than ideal interactions could be due to the fact that I'm a POC (I'm East Asian). The most recent time when I tried to return something, the SAs had bad attitudes and were going out of their way to be unhelpful and told me I couldn't return something and didn't even try to sound helpful. They acted like I was annoying them by trying to return something. I ended up chatting with the concierge online while I was still at the mall and they resolved it for me and emailed the store to tell them to let me return it so I was able to return it at the end, but it was a whole lot of energy and time wasted. There's not much we can do about the SA's discriminatory actions (Aritzia is my favorite brand and I shop mostly online anyway) but I hope my experience helps establish the pattern that other POC have pointed out. read more

I have only been in Aritzia a handful of times but this was the first time I bought something and it was an okay experience. The guy who was helping in the fitting room was super friendly and helpful. I don't love that the fitting rooms don't have a mirror and you have to go out to see yourself but it's a brand thing. The lady at the register was not the friendliest and seemed to not be in the best mood which makes me want to continue to shop online. Since Aritzia is in the mall, parking is a mess and expensive especially on the weekend. I would recommend taking an Uber or find street parking nearby. read more

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience here was so uncomfortable and rude that I hope a manager sees this. The store was having a sale and I was desperate for an outfit for my birthday dinner, so I stopped by. I found some cute pieces and waited in line for the fitting room. While minding my business in line, I noticed some of the girls kept staring right at me, whispering and making faces. It felt like they were all watching me thinking I was going to steal something but I had nothing in my hands because everything was waiting in the fitting room already. When it was my turn, the girl was so fake and clearly annoyed and suspicious of me. I even caught her looking at my phone screen. I wanted to leave immediately because I was SO uncomfortable, but I was desperate to find an outfit - not to mention I waited in line for 30 mins. There are no mirrors in the fitting rooms, which is absolutely bizarre and invasive, so I had to come out use the communal mirror. Again, I was extremely uncomfortable walking out and seeing the girls all obviously watching me. They didn't ask a single time how I was doing or if I needed anything, while they checked on the girls around me MULTIPLE times. It's like they were trying to make it obvious. It was overall such an awful experience and I couldn't wait to get out of there. I did end up buying a cute outfit, but I definitely will not be going back to shop here. My new favorite brand for dresses! They have the cutest styles and you can find something for almost everyone. I only say that because their sizing runs small. I'm usually a small in dresses but have to size up. And for pants, you'll have to size up 2 sizes. The store itself is gorgeous! I love the design, layout, and artwork on the walls. Service is great as well! I've never been to a store where everyone is so friendly and willing to help. I went there during their opening week and got a super cute tote bag with my purchase. Okay, I'll admit, the tote bag was the reason I went there. Since then, I've been back countless times, so much so that the salespeople know me. The dressing rooms are nice, but there aren't individual mirrors inside each room, so you'll have to come out and check out how nice or not nice you look in your outfit. I came here last weekend and I struggled to even just find help and they were ALL SO STUCK UP AND BEYOND RUDE. I also called to see if the item I got was in a different color and I gave them the brand name I didn't know what the vest was called and the employee on the phone said they couldn't help me period . Which is bullshit I worked in retail ages ago and if you can give me a description and brand name I could find the item. So not only are they rude and stuck up they are USELESS I was not happy with the top I got so I went in store to try and find another option and the lady at the counter said I'll be right with you and didn't directly make eye contact with me AT ALL so I assumed she was talking to someone else and when she called me forward to help me I was confused and she very rudely said "are you ready" mind you I came in sweats and a hoodie because it was raining overall in general AWFUL EXPERIENCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. These girls need to remember that this is just a clothing store not a mean girl society. You work at retail store. Never recommending this place to anyone. read more

Aritzia is a women clothing store that just opened up at the Century City mall located off of Santa Monica Blvd. They are originally from Canada and they have been opening stores in America.The inside of this place is very well organized and the staff is on point. Came here on April 14th and walked around the store. It was pretty busy and a lot of women from all ages seemed to be enjoying themselves. They do have comfy couches inside for the guys in your life or maybe even just from doing a lot of shopping. I tried on around maybe 10 different items. Some spring dresses, shorts, tops and even some jackets. I did end up buying a rib black dress that was fitted and pretty good for dinner dates. I'm sure though with time spent here you'll be find something that you enjoy and love. I still have a dress that I bought two years ago on their Chicago location. But now I'm glad that they have a location in Los Angeles because sometimes you just can't buy it online and should try the clothes on! read more

WOW.... I left with my mouth open after an extremely annoying experience. As soon as I picked up a pair of pants I was SWARMED by multiple employees, asking me if I wanted a room. I had literally just picked up a pair of pants and instantly like flies on a turd, NPC's with the same dialogue swarmed me. I pick up another pair of pants, and within about 20 seconds someone asked me if I want to take it to a room. I almost felt like they thought I was shoplifting which is ridiculous because every single item has a magnetic tag so I don't really know what I would do with that but I got the feeling that might just be their protocol which is insane? I go to the dressing room, which is usually a nice private experience, but the girl who helped me was literally waiting outside of the curtain. I could hear her breathing. very awkward. not before I tried on my first item. She's asking me how I'm liking the items, it's excessive and makes me feel uncomfortable. Every time I walk out with an item to look in the communal mirror, I am approached and bothered each time. This is not how an ideal dressing room experience goes at all. I'm putting on my clothes inside of the dressing room, and I'm again approached and bothered. I'm very annoyed at this point. I've been approached maybe 3 to 4 times just while trying on four items. As I'm putting my clothes back on the same girl comes and ask me how I like everything, AGAIN, and says, do you want to just hand me the "no's" I literally just ignore her at this point I'm not going to stop what I'm doing just to hand her items that I'm about to give her when I'm done anyway I don't think I will ever return to this location. I've been here before and it wasn't this annoying, although i remember it being a little bit so, nothing like this. I ended up not buying anything. actually wanted everything I was buying, but I was so pissed off at this point, it felt like a cartoon where you're trying to depict the characters to be as intentionally annoying and obnoxious on purpose. I almost slipped off my phone and started recording because it was so excessive. please tell your employees to leave customers the fuck alone unless asked. Your clothes are nice, but the way you train your employees to be as annoying and obnoxious as humanly possible will ensure people to just leave. This is probably the only Aritzia that has disappointed me the most. I've been shopping in Aritzia for the longest time, and I've been to multiple locations in both California and Canada. However, the sales associates in this store are by far the rudest people I've ever met in retail. For reference, I've worked multiple retail jobs and it's hard to believe that this store is still functioning. Whoever the manager is should try to train them better. However, an encounter with a specific employee really pushed me to write this review. For starters, I didn't know I wasn't allowed to take pictures because I didn't see any signs or anything, so I took picture of a superpuff (I wasn't even wearing it, I only took a picture of the jacket only) to ask my boyfriend which color looked best. I understand that Aritzia is a private business that reserves the right to refuse customers from taking pictures. However, one of the sales associates looked me up and down (I was in super bummy clothes), and rudely stated that pictures and videos weren't allowed. I wouldn't be writing a negative review if he hadn't been as rude as he was. He could have just let me know nicely and I would've just deleted it. Safe to say that I will never come back to this location, The other locations are far better. I feel like cheaper retail stores like H&M or Zara train their employees better than this store. 0/5, would not recommend. read more
