I have no experience when it comes to consignment or selling things from my closet. I found this lovely little shop online via yelp. There were a lot of positive reviews. So I decided to check them out. Drove about 45 minutes to get there and once I got there was told told they normally require an appointment but since I came so far ,she (Jennie) would try and work me in. We sat down and she looked at the item and we couldn't come to an agreement, which was okay. As I was getting up to leave, Jennie tells me about another avenue to sell my article. She proceeded to take pictures and post my article online for me. All I can say is "WOW". there are still wonderful people in this world willing to help. What a great consignment store! I wandered in here, when I was listening to Live Jazz along Green Street. I was told by the owner that they offer modern luxury designer brands and other unique items specifically chosen for the store. They even had some items for men, something I haven't found in other places. All of the items that I saw as I roamed the store ... shoes, sweaters, coats, bags to exquisite, dresses ... had well known labels. There were some great one of a kind finds for special events, photo shoots,or stage productions. It was easy to spend a lot of time looking at all of the clothes. Customer service was very nice and attentive to all of my questions. I was able to park on the street... I live in the neighborhood and have walked into the store a few times. Jenny, the owner, is a very helpful woman and not pushy at all...which makes for pressure-free browsing of her lovely curated items. This is definitely a luxury consignment boutique, you'll see familiar brands like D&G, Prada, Moschino, etc. but you'll also see other designer brands that are not as common, with very interesting pieces. If you love fashion and design, I would definitely visit this boutique just for the browsing...beautiful fabrics, soft silks and leathers, interesting shapes. It's so nice to feel and see quality items. There's a dressing room as well so you can assure appropriate fit. I splurged on a jacket that I really loved, I walked away knowing I had a unique, quality piece that I will probably never see anyone else wearing. Although items are on the pricier side, you are paying for the quality and for the uniqueness of the piece. Some may even be investment pieces. Sales make great pieces attainable. They might be considered the best new consignment shop in L.A. They are one of three consignment shops\on shady Green Street Village in Pasadena. All three are first rate, but Walker/Viden is a step above because they don't just hard sell. They maintain a supportive environment and help you make your own discoveries. The consignment merchandise moves quickly and there are offerings from top designers. They are increasing special selections for men clothing and have a few items but their focus is on women's selections. They have a keen eye about style and take the time to get to know you. When its December 24 and you need some help ( last minute indecision) they relax you and that is the one critical value that is rare to find- they honestly earn your trust. They know style. Pricing is fair. A "must shop". Street parking, nearby ( like within walking distance ) there are 5-6 top Pasadena restaurants and bars. In addition to running a consignment shop--they offer stylist services for one on one consultations and photo shoots. Walker/Viden is a high-end consignment shop and probably one of the best within the greater LA area. Even during my four year stay in NY, I have never come across such a well curated and stocked consignment store with reasonable pricing. I found this shop by chance after enjoying tea across the street at Madeline Garden. I was so impressed with their selection of luxury goods that I ended up trying on a few pieces against my better judgement. I purchased a beautiful white top and even received a 10% off with a yelp check in. Don't get scared by the word "consignment" as this shop neither has an old musty smell nor does it carry any "old" pieces. The majority of the clothes and accessories are in good to great condition with some pieces with tags still attached. Now that I know this gem of a store exists, I'll make it a point to drop by every time I am in the Pasadena area. Look forward to purchasing more items in the future! read more

Went in to Walker Viden for the first time last week and fell in love with EVERYTHING in the store!!! Such beautiful clothes, shoes, accessories, bags, and more. Some really unique pieces that are one of a kind, prices are great for the quality. Definitely super luxury pieces and worth it. I wanted to buy the whole store. Open and spacious, organized by color, and curated by the lovely Jennie. A New Yorker with a great eye, she is as open and enthusiastic as on could want, just very genuine.
