I didn't realize there was a Coach Store inside Glendale Galleria. We visited January 1st on weekday later in the afternoon. The store was busy with shoppers. What attracted us to check out the store is the beautiful Christmas tree sitting right in the middle of the store. Coach Store has plenty of selection and variety of new styles and colors. As soon as we walked in th store we were greeted and informed to let them know if we needed any help or have any questions. Great customer as soon as we entered the store. The Coach Store is also very clean and well stocked with merchandise. Such a pretty and eye catching store. I recently placed an online order for the Mini Jamie Camera Bag in Sketch Signature Canvas as a gift, and unfortunately realized afterward that there was no option to add gift wrapping. I contacted Coach's online support, and they recommended I visit a store to purchase a gift box. When I visited the Glendale Galleria location, I was initially flustered due to the confusing online shopping experience. The website seems to switch between retail and outlet inventory depending on availability, which made it unclear where exactly I had ordered from. While explaining this, I overheard a sales associate comment, "How do you not remember where you ordered it from?" which felt a bit dismissive and added to my frustration. (Rude) Reason I don't like shopping in store. Thankfully, Nichole completely turned the experience around. She was kind, patient, and went out of her way to help me, even though I hadn't made the purchase in-store. Thanks to her, I was able to leave with exactly what I needed to make this a perfect gift. The bag is beautiful, and now it's ready to be given to the birthday girl this weekend. This is the absolute Best store ever! We went in to get my daughter some pink sunglasses she admired earlier. They looked fabulous on her! While I was looking over the purses I saw a blue one that caught my eyes. Christina was the Associate that helped us out that day. She was professional and very knowledgeable about everything Coach. She was doing so much I thought she was the manager. She told me I had a lifetime guarantee of cleaning my bag. She also gave me a tag with my name engraved on it which was awesome. I have bought many purses from Coach but from the Outlet or Macys and they never tell you that nor give you a tag with your name on it. From now on I'll only buy from the Coach store. She also gave us waters with Coaches name on the bottle. Christina could communicate and have an understanding of what the customer wanted. This store got people of all races. and ages in it. Try hard retail workers forgetting they work in cheap luxury. Bought two pairs of shoes, the wife ended up not wanting them so I came in to return (her pair never left the box after leaving the store). The employee and manager told me they were "unreturnable" because of marks on the bottom stating "even if you try them on we cant accept them" which makes zero sense considering they let literally anyone try on shoes in the store. Ended up taking a wet wipe to them and returning them at the grove. Pretty ridiculous considering how much money ive given this company. read more

Coach in the last several years has really regained so much popularity! Their bags are really giving! I decided to come in and partake in a new program that the brand had called the the Coach (re) loved exchange, it's where they give you store credit for your preloved bag. They only take prestine all leather handbags purchased at the retail store and no outlet styles. The store manager AJ helped me out with the process and let me tell you, he was AMAZING! LV/Gucci/YSL ain't got nothing on these sales associates! They were all wonderful and made me feel comfortable shopping around and choosing a bag to use my credit on! I left happy that I was able to partake in this program and I was also able to purchase a bag that I had my eye on! A win win! If you are in need of a sales associate please ask for the manger AJ! I recently visited this Coach store with my two friends on 12/29 between 1-3 pm. I had received a brand new Coach bag for Christmas and I was looking to get the bag tag engraved with my initials. I approached an older woman who was standing behind the wallet counter and I inquired about what I was looking for, before I could even finish my sentence the sales representative interrupted me and quickly said "No we're not offering that service" before she could continue she started touching my bag that was on my shoulder with a disgusted look on her face "and is this from the Coach outlet?" (this shouldn't matter as it's still a Coach bag) she finished her rambling by saying "No we don't do that here" I quickly turned and left after being properly embarrassed by this rude employee. Today I visited the Coach South Coast Plaza location and I was serviced by the kindest employee who let me know they do offer engraving at Coach store locations, and she got my bag tag engraved with my initials! (They also did not say a single thing about my bag being from the outlet) I seriously recommend taking the time to make the trip down to South Coast Plaza location for amazing customer service. If you would rather have classist and entitled employee attitude, then maybe stick to this Galleria location. read more

"COACH" is a disaster of a company. I received a gift on valentines day, which i returned a few days later. The item was purchased in cash therefore the store manager stated that a refund check would be issued. It has been 3 months since no check and i still have to wait 3-5 more weeks for a check less than $500. The Glendale team has been very accommodating but nonetheless i have been very patient and this situation is out of control. Is the company struggling financially? Why is it so hard to provide a refund? I even asked for the check to be mailed to the store to ensure it doesnt get "lost". This is BEYOND outrageous ....corporate owes answers and additional compensation at this point. This is not acceptable to return an item and wait 3-4 months to be issued a refund. Disgusted to say the least, stay away from this company. If you like coach purchase it from Bloomingdale's or Macy's. That way you dont have to wait months for a refund. read more

What a great experience I had shopping at Coach the other day. I haven't stepped inside a Coach store in close to 15 years. I came across this store and was immediately greeted with an open smile and asked if I needed any help. I simply stated I was window shopping and that window shopping turned into a couple of purchases. I was able to meet the entire team as I was roaming the store. All very helpful, smiles and even having a good couple of laughs. I ended up buying multiple items indulging a tote, sunglasses and a few other items. I spoke to an associate named Dave and I described to him what my mom's style is and he immediately showed me a Rogue bag. According to him, it's the best bag that Coach makes, and I agree! I walked in with the specific purse in mind to buy as a gift for my mom. I approached a young man on the sales floor and directed him to the purse I wanted to buy. He was going to have me purchase that specific display purse. However, the display purse had dirt and minor imperfections which I obviously did not want to buy as a gift for mother's day. So, he huffed out to bring another purse which we looked at and it seemed okay. I asked if he could wrap it as it was a gift and he agreed. He took quite some time to box the purse, no matter I paid and went on my merry way. That is until the moment when my mother unboxed her gift that I noticed the boxed contained the display purse.... My mom isn't the type to look a gift horse in the mouth, so she refused to allow me to return and exchange it. Great. I'm really upset at this still which is why I've taken so long to review. This place is a disgrace to the Coach name. I recently went here with my colleague last week and bought 2 Coach bags. We were told one of them was not released and no one had it but it could be pulled from the back. So, we got excited and happily bought the gathered, leather Sophia bag. What happens? We go home and BAM it's on EBAY...EVERYWHERE! Not released, my ass. The sales guy lied to us. Went back the next day to return, the manager, Nikki, was completely rude. Treated my colleague, who happens to be black, like a second-rate shopper, when she is an attorney. My colleague asked for help with bags, and Nikki kept rolling her eyes, but happily helped anyone else in the store. Needless to say, Coach is not on our list anymore. My colleague and I were treated with such poor attitude and even hints of racist undertones in her remarks ("Um, this one is $700.00, I don't know if it is in YOUR range") Oh really? Well we will take our business elsewhere. I turned 30 and just got a big promotion at work, I was thinking "I'm a grown up now- I'm gonna get a grown up purse." I saw my boss carry a terracotta Sophia, and I fell in love. So in to Coach I went. So JC helped me, and she was super nice, super sweet. But a higher end purse called the Madison carryall caught my eye. They didn't have it in the terracotta at the store and she happily ordered it online for me to be sent to my house. It arrived within 7 days, as promised. But the Coach sign was askew. I asked my husband if he sees it, and he said.. "yeah, it's five degrees off." So in to the store I went. Well.. this is where it got ugly. This girl, not JC (and who should remain nameless cuz I don't want her to lose her job), was not happy I was returning it. She said "I don't see it" when I told her the symbol was askew. I was like.. whatever and started looking around and trying on the purse. Another sales person was nice though.. she was helping me out.. because I went back to the Sophia and I couldn't decide between the Sophia and the carryall. And she was like.. "the carryall carries your ipad. I think it would be more suited." While her colleague was just looking unhappy I was returning it at all. So I decided on the carryall. The girl offered no apologies for the inconvenience because she thought I was making a big deal out of something she didn't "see." No express shipping, no discount, nothing. I had to wait another 7 days for the same purse. 7 days later, the second purse came. And again, the coach sign was askew. I called the Pasadena one this time, and told them what happened. And they said.. "oh really, bring it in and we'll assess it." And you know what? What a difference! Like I came in, the girl agreed with me right away that the sign was "falling off", and let me play with the purses while she did the transaction. She showed me wallets, told me oh here's some new colors.. in short, she made shopping fun. And she apologized for the inconvenience. And she offered express shipping so I could get the third version of the same purse in three days. There ya go, Glendale Coach! That's why you got a 2 star. Because of 1 person not making shopping fun. Unlike Pasadena Paseo Coach, who makes shopping super fun. And don't question my returns, okay. I paid $500 for a purse, sue me if I want it perfect. I got a fabulous yellow purse as a birthday gift. I'm just glad that I wasn't the one in there to buy it. Had a strange experience when I was pregnant, and ever since then I'm not too big of a fan of this Coach location. Ok, so I had put on a few pounds and was into my 6 month of pregnancy. The woman who greeted me as I walked in asked me if I was having twins. When I answered "no", she went on to ask her co-worker "Doesn't she look like she's having twins?". The co-worker then agreed. Come on people! You don't tell a pregnant lady that she looks like she's having twins, especially once she's made it clear that she's only having one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This isn't really an issue with the Galleria Coach store, but with the company itself. I've posted it here because it was purchased through this location. My daughter gave me a Coach wallet for Xmas. I wanted a smaller version and returned the original to the Coach store in the Glendale Galleria. They didn't have the one I wanted in stock, but they suggested I have one shipped to me. I agreed. About a week later (no Express shipping provided or even offered), I received a brown paper envelope with the wallet. It was wrapped in some tissue...that's it. A $175.00 wallet, and Coach can't afford to put it in a $3 box? I then sent a note to Coach, using their website. It's been over a week and not a peep from them. This experience has made me believe that Coach is now coasting on their incredible reputation and no longer feels they need to live up to the quality image they've established. I'm seeing more and more less-than-stellar Coach reviews on Yelp which might support that theory. I've patronized Coach for years but there's a LOT of fantastic brands out there that are working hard to EARN a customer's dollar. I looked at the picture long enough to remember the basic size and shape of the purse. When the salesgirl asked what I wanted. I said I'll tell you when I see it. I noticed she had an I-pad with the catalog online. However, she did not offer to let me browse thru the pictures. Not the "noses in the air sales people" that I've experienced at other Coach stores, even Coach outlets. Sure, you do get that general greeting, "Welcome to Coach!" But here, they go out of their way to cater to you. "Is there anything in particular you are looking for? Why don't you try this and see if it will better suit your needs." Three times I have wanted items that they didn't have at their store, so they checked which stores had them and all were delivered to my home free! Once, I even received a hand written card from the saleswoman, Lisa, who handled my transaction. What can I say Coach has great quality, simple designed bags. I enjoy a Coach bag but still pretty pricey for my taste. If you have $400+ to spend on a bag, go for it.
