Recently my husband bought me a Vacances toiletry bag from Clare V as a Christmas gift. I finally got it out to use for an upcoming trip and noticed an issue with the stitching coming apart in the middle zipper pocket. I reached out to Clare V. customer service and Brianne replied that they needed proof of purchase before they would repair the item. I explained it was a gift and since it had been a few months my husband no longer had receipt or email confirmation. She said that was policy and that they could not service the item without proof of purchase. The item still has tags attached. I am extremely dissatisfied with the response from customer service considering the item was never used and is brand new yet they refuse to repair it. I will no longer be a customer at Clare V. due to the poor customer service and lack of appreciation for repeat customers!

Then I called the Glendale,…read moreCA store location to ensure my item was available, I provide my name and order number, the female sales associate confirmed my item was available, but stated she did not see my order their system, saying it can take up to 6 hours to reflect, I told her I was worried my item maybe taken so I asked her to place my item on hold and she agreed to place my item on hold. 4 hours pass, so I called Customer Call center to let them know I called the Glendale, CA location to share what happened when I called this store earlier, I spoke with a call center Supervisor, who assisted in calling the Glendale,CA location and confirmed with the store my item will be fulfilled and the item is in stock. I called the store and spoke with. Gentleman sales associate who said he could not find my item and cancelled my order. I told the gentleman sales associate I called earlier this morning and the call center supervisor called as well, both times confirmed my item is available and will be fulfilled. After telling the gentleman sales associate this, minutes later he said he found my item in the holding area. I asked him, why did you not check all areas before cancelling my order? He then replied, I don't know, "you can come into the store and repurchase the item again." This is a poor experience, the purpose of online ordering is the convenience of paying in advance and picking up my desired order, not having my order cancelled and then forcing to pay in store. The gentleman sales associated acted out of poor negligence and did not search all locations for my items in the store. I should have received a phone call if my item could not have been fulfilled. The gentleman sales associate should have partnered with other coworkers to confirm if anyone spoke to me that morning I called, since the female associate confirmed she placed my item on hold for me that morning. Customer service call center should have a stronger communication between store locations to ensure the best customer service experience to avoid situations like this. I would hate to have this happen to me again yet alone any future customers. The online ordering system and store systems are delayed and need to be synchronized in real time and not delayed. This is a poor business model and needs to improve. Steven Madden corporation needs to be better.

They were genuinely customer focused and took the time to provide useful information and answer my questions, making the entire purchase experience easy and enjoyable. Great service from start to finish! I never knew there was a Coach store at this mall. I will say that their parking at this mall is terrible on weekends. If luck is on your side, you'll need it. Usually takes us 40 mins to find parking typically. Not an easy task.

I explained what we had, and if we could schedule an evaluation on our "numerous bags" she kindly said they would of course prefer we come in during the week when it's "slower" but to come in today, we more than likely would need to have a seat and wait until someone could help us. (I explained no problem ..and were grateful for the time) we walked into the store around 5:30pm... there were probably 5 customers in the store and a handful of employees. NO ONE at the register buying anything (at that time) Spoke to another employee a male... with a lil man bun he was kind enough to take 5 minutes out of his day....to assist my mother and me and look thru our bags to see "what they would and wouldn't" take back for the re-loved/re-claimed program. (as they only take back ORIGINAL COACH not ANYTHING from the outlets) He then said let me go speak to my manager I'll be right back..**out of like 15 bags only 5 qualified, for the program**. He returns and apologies His manager says they cannot help us today, we would need to return during the week...AGAIN we don't live in Glendale or even a 30 mile radius! I explained this to him again (man bun) and I said great that's not what I was told over the phone and how disappointing- I asked for the managers name "Johnny" who never bothered to come out of the back room to greet any of the stores customers, check on employees etc. Our plan was to trade in our bags - for whatever anounts the store was willing to give us... AND make new purchases today! My mother was looking at a 800$ bag, I was looking at a 600$ bag and a pair of shoes. no one ever asked if we were interested in anything else etc. I thanked man bun for his time, asked for his managers name again (so I could make a complaint..cause I will be writing a letter!) I knew fleet feet had a great supply and the ability to measure mama's sore feet. So, mama is a five time cancer survivor and warrior. Unfortunately she had a large mass on her toe which prevented her from being able to walk without a boot, which after months leads to body pain throughout. Her poor foot and ankle always hurt, and swelled up real bad. She had pain throughout her body from the imbalance and reliance on crutches. I didn't think we could find a pair of hokas that would fit, and even better actually heal her feet. Then we came in and met Dan, the kindest most knowledgeable specialist we could have hoped for. He was patient and supportive at every step, through mama's laser measurements- which are amazing and they email them to you if requested. Then he began the work, we tried 4 great recommendations but alas none fit, all too tight around the ankle. But Dan wasn't done, he looked at the measurements and put in an order for a men's size in extra wide trusting it would fit- and if they didn't we could exchange within 30days. Four days later, my mom put on her first pair of shoes that fit in over a year. Im in tears of thanksgiving. To see her walking in a new pair of hokas, with proper balance and arch support. She's so excited and we are forever grateful. Also, they didn't try to sell me the most expensive pair, they had an awesome shoe that was less than what I expected!
