So, to help me stay motivated to step out the door on my designated run days, I decided to get serious runner shoes. Fake it till you make it, or whatever. The scanning process didn't take long--I walked in to ask for it and the first person available helped me out. But it told me a lot about my own feet. They brought out a mountain of recommendations and were extremely patient as I went through the options, weighing in with tips and knowledge. I ended up with a trusty pair of Hokas. Even when there was a tiny hiccup with shipping, they were quick to take care of it. I initially chose Fleet Feet in Burbank because it was the closest to my place. But going forward, for all my upcoming runner needs, I'll choose it for the great customer service from great people who work there. 10/10. read more

You can either walk in or make reservation online, and expect waiting during weekend peak hours. I liked their service and fitting options for all kinds of shoes based on customers' scan results. After many pairs of shoes failing me, going to Fleet Feet is really the pinnacle of a shoe shopping experience. The store was a little busy on a Friday afternoon but the associates are quick to greet incoming guests and let us know to put our names on the whiteboard waitlist. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the sweetest employees. They asked me if they could help me with anything and as soon as I let them know, they got right to measuring my foot and making sure I was taken care of. The person who helped me throughout the process was very thorough and patient. I ended up not even getting anything because I couldn't decide on which shoe to go with; and he assured me that it was okay. He even offered to write the names of the shoes for me so that I could have them ready in case I decided to come back. I always feel so terrible when I don't buy something after someone's been so helpful, but this was a great experience nonetheless. The only downside to this location though is their lack of selection and maybe just how dated and dingy the inside is. The employee apologized multiple times for not having enough shoes to show me in my size. Either way, the customer service was still great. As far as the value of the items go, they're all on the pricier side but that's what the MSRP is for running shoes nowadays. It has nothing to do with the store itself, really. read more

Five stars for great service and empowered decision-making. I recently visited Fleet Feet in Burbank to purchase a pair of shoes for my son. We found a pair that was already heavily discounted, which was great -- but I also had a $15 reward on my Fleet Feet account that I wanted to apply toward the purchase. Initially, the salesperson helping us, Daniel, informed me that the reward couldn't be used because the shoes were marked so low that the company would likely lose money on the sale. I explained that, from a customer's perspective, how Fleet Feet handles pricing and promotions internally isn't really our concern -- a reward should be usable regardless of the discount on the item. To Daniel's credit, he listened, considered the situation, and ultimately made the decision to apply the $15 reward anyway, telling me he would handle any fallout himself. I was pleasantly surprised by this thoughtful, customer-first response. I truly appreciate Daniel's self-directed thinking and willingness to go beyond the script. We need more employees like him -- people who feel empowered to do the right thing in the moment and create a positive experience for the customer. The people here curate your experience to you, yes you might have to wait for service but it's heavily curated service. Their most impressive feature was doing a foot scan, static and dynamic, to literally devise the best shoe for your needs. Edwin literally broke down everything for me and in an understandable way. What an amazing experience visiting the Burbank Fleet Feet location. The representative Edwin was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with helping me find a new pair of running shoes that addressed my foot pain. At no time did I feel the least amount of being pushed into any decisions. I felt genuinely valued as a customer and that's not very common these days in my opinion. A friend recommended that I check out Fleet Feet because I was in need of new running shoes. I'm training for my first half marathon and have been running in a pair of old Nike Pegasus. I was looking for a shoe with more cushion and bounce, and Audrey helped me find the perfect shoe. We began a full foot analysis with a scan and a stride assessment. The tech they have at the store is pretty cool! Audrey showed me my scans and explained all the diff metrics they recorded, from the differences in my shoe size (my left foot is smaller), to the differences in width (my right foot is much wider than my left). After the analysis, Audrey went to the back to pull some recommended shoes. She brought out three pairs from hoka, brooks, and ASICS and explained the differences between them. I ended up going with the brooks ghost max! They felt so amazing on and were exactly what I was looking for. Parking is very easy to find on the street or in the attached lot to the side of the building. Thanks to Audrey and the Fleet Feet team for their expertise and help! And they let you run in them, which is great but literally waiting for a guy to try on and run in 8 pair???.... I felt like they could be juggling two customers at a time when there are 5-6 people waiting. I did wait about 40 min before it was my turn. But if you're looking for shoes, they definitely want you to feel like you're getting what makes your body feel good. I just went to get custom inserts for my shoes. Felt the process was great. They ordered them there and shipped them directly to my house. Received them in one week. They cost $150. They feel great. Staff is definitely very knowledgeable. I had one little issue and they followed up with me, which I appreciate how they were able to give me an answer to make my experience better. Overall good experience. The service at fleet feet is phenomenal. The foot scan has helped me in finding the right shoe and insole which stopped my feet pain during runs. I like that they answered all my questions, make suggestions based on my needs, and there's never any pressure. It's way better value to get an assessment from fleet feet than to buy somewhere else because they make sure the shoe is a right feet. This review is a long time coming. I have been a customer for about 10 years since moving to Burbank. The very first time I went to Fleet Feet, I was nervous because I have size 12.5 wide feet. I have always had a hard time finding shoes that fit. Only because of Fleet Feet do I know what size my feet actually are. They also scan your feet and make you walk on a pressure pad to see where you are putting most of the pressure for your feet so they can tailor the shoe selection to you. Because of this excellent service, I have had 10 wonderful years of having shoes that fit me. However, my shoe selection is mostly always limited to black or white. As someone who loves color in their life, I decided to stop in yesterday (06/19/2025) and see if they could find me some colorful shoes in my size. In steps Amanda, she spent I think a good part of an hour with me trying on multiple makes and styles of shoes knowing I had specific wants (12.5, wide, hiking, running, weight lifting). She never once showed any frustration helping me out as we found time and time again that the second we put in my measurements, the myriad of rainbow colors went back to black and white for my size. In the end I didn't get exactly what I needed, but that isn't the fault of Fleet Feet, and more a limitation of the shoe industry as a whole. I did however walk out with a new pair of shoes even more comfortable than my original choice. I HIGHLY recommend fleet feet, and I absolutely suggest asking for Amanda if you go in. What a great experience, surprisingly super busy and waited a good 20 minutes to be helped but the wait is worth it as you get a customized one on one experience. We both got a 3D scan done of our feet and super cool to know to see which shoes are best for your foot size and running preferences. Shout out to Brianna for helping us find the right shoes and I purchased some insoles (which are such a game changer) if you have some issues with your feet. Great selection at the store with super knowledgeable staff. I've come a couple times for community runs. I like the variety of routes they offer and that afterwards there is some food & mingling and sometimes discounts! The first time I went, I asked a salesperson about a specific pain in my foot and she was so so helpful, gave me some tips, and didn't try to push any purchases on me. I very much appreciated her expertise! I joined their rewards program and have already benefited from it. Definitely recommend.
