I've been coming to Run With Us about once a year for several years now. The best part is that there's always someone to help you out the moment you step through the door. I'm not much of a running shoe geek, so I appreciate them bringing out shoes they think would work for me rather than me blindly grabbing shoes off the display. I found Run With Us on Strava and decided to join their Mother's Day run with my husband and son and I'm so glad we did! From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and kind. Such a great vibe. I even received a rose, which was such a sweet touch. We ran a fun 5K with an amazing group, and to top it off, we entered a raffle and won a great pair of Brooks shoes! The staff member who helped me was a total sweetheart. She really listened, made me feel comfortable, and invited me to their Monday 6 PM runs and other events it felt very personal and genuine. I also love that they collect used running shoes for low-income families. That truly says a lot about who they are. I'll definitely be back for more runs and more shoes. I was looking to get some Hokas for running. I'm not a runner but I do stand a bunch and I started to run a little. I'm currently expecting and the young man helped me see how I walk lol he told me I need arch support it was kinda embarrassing but also he kept it real said it would help if I got inserts or he can show me another shoe with arch support. I ended up getting socks too I loved the try on socks but I saw some nicer ones. I can't wait to try my shoes on tomorrow I definitely want to come back to get another color. My wife was looking for a pair of walking shoes, as her previous ones started to hurt her feet after only a few uses. We immediately felt welcome as we walked in, as their associates greeted us and asked us about any questions we had. They helped analyze her stride/gait, and gave us a variety of recommendations. I wasn't in the market for shoes myself, but I was able to get my gait analyzed as well, as I had always been curious about my running/walking form, and which shoe would work best for me. After trying on a few pairs, we finally picked a pair of New Balances. They have a large selection of shoes, from brands that are popular such as Brooks and Asics, to lesser known ones such as Diodora and 361. They also carry everything else you could need for your feet/shoes, such as socks, cushioning, recovery items, etc,. I believe their prices are pretty close to MSRP, so you may be paying a bit more than if you were to grab them online with discounts, but the customer experience is unrivaled, and it's worth supporting a local store if you can afford to! They also seem to have quite a few running events, so if you are close by, it seems like a nice place to potentially find a running community. I had never gone to a specialized store before or had my gait analyzed, so I was a bit nervous about stopping by, but I was really lucky to have Julius help me out! His service was definitely 5/5 stars. He was super patient with me, pulled out like 10 different shoes and 6 insoles for me to try and was constantly trying to figure out what type of shoe would be most comfortable for me. There were some terms I didn't really understand and he explained it to me really well! I initially was only getting these shoes for work, but I decided to take them out on a run (I haven't gone on a run in like 3 years) and they were perfect, my run felt completely different from my previous ones with my different running shoes and I look forward to running again!! I would take out one star only because I wish they had more colors of shoes in stock and also because the person ringing me up (was a different person, not Julius) seemed standoffish like he didn't want to be ringing me up and didn't even offer me a bag for my shoes + insoles even though there were a ton right next to him. Maybe that staff member was just having a bad day, but it was a bit of a damper after my good interaction with Julius. This was my first time visiting Run With Us to buy my first pair of running shoes. If I could give Julius 1,000 stars, I would! He was incredibly kind, helpful, and patient. He also took care to explain the different shoe options clearly based on my foot assessment. Julius is an absolute gem, and Run With Us is incredibly lucky to have him on their team! I wish I didn't have to take off a star, but the reason I did was because of another employee. He stood behind me (on the opposite side of the center seating area) and basically watched me the entire time I was there. Even after another customer walked in, he remained there watching me as Julius then had to split his time between me and her. It wasn't until after a third customer walked in that the other employee finally went over to help her. I felt deeply uncomfortable with this behavior. It's 2026. Absolutely the best running store out there! We had the most amazing experience at Run With Us today. A couple of weeks ago, we bought a pair of running shoes for my boyfriend, but one of them turned out to have a small defect that was digging into his foot. We went back to the store to see if there was anything they could do, and the staff couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. Even though they were out of his size in the original pair, they went above and beyond to make sure he left happy and comfortable and they helped us exchange for a different model with zero hassle. My friend is very particular and after several visits to other specialty shoe stores such as Snails Pace, and not finding the shoe, she was very happy with what Peachy recommended. The workers here are eager to help you right away and are super knowledgeable about the shoes they sell. They allow you to get your foot analyzed here and recommend shoes based on your results. Workers are super attentive and patient. Was able to get shoes that not only fit my feet, but were a style I liked and on sale. I checked the price online and it was comparable to what they were selling it for here, so it seems like they pay attention to what other retailers are selling the shoes for. I have purchased two pairs of shoes at the 120-160 price point and a couple of knee braces here. This place is where to go in order to get measured correctly. All the sales persons inside are welcoming and helpful. Parking is a bit hectic during lunch times because of the teriyaki place next-door, great food there, but makes parking a bit tight. I was having weird foot pain and thought maybe I needed more supportive shoes. As soon as I walked in, Armand greeted me and asked how he could help. I told him about my foot pain and he immediately had an idea of insoles that could help. He also did the foot/gait analysis which was so helpful to see where the pressure was on my feet. The insoles he suggested instantly made my foot feel better. He also brought out several pairs of shoes to try and was so helpful with all my questions. I do a lot of walking. On the average I walk 6 to 11 miles a day and today it was time for a upgrade on some good shoes. I decided on buying some HOKA shoes. I looked to see who in Pasadena sold them and found that Run With Us sold them. So, Monday after work I drove over to buy some. When I walked to the front entrance it was lock but there was a sign that said to knock and someone would open up. After knocking a salesman walked over and let me in. I'm assuming that maybe they had a theft in the past. Anyway as I walked in the salesman "Armand" asked how he could help. I told him I was interested in buying some HOKA's. First he asked if I could take off my shoes and walk away from him so he could see how I walk. Next he measured the length and width of my feet. He told me that they have some on sale so he grabbed the Challenger ATR 7 and asked me to try them on and walk around. I really loved how comfortable they felt. He then told me that he would bring out some more from the storage room for me to try. After waiting for about 5 minutes he had 4 different HOKA's for me to try on. Of the 4 I tried on I liked the Clifton 10. I told him that I would buy both. The Challenger, that was on sale, was $99.99 and the Clifton 10 was $154.99. Armand never pressured me to buy any of the shoes. My decision was made by how good they felt on my feet. When he was going to ring up my shoes I asked if I could pay for one with my debt and the other with my credit card. He said no problem. I like the layout of the store and I will be coming back in the future. Nice original salesguy and super helpful, but the Asics I spent $150+ on had the fabric on the toes start fraying less than 30 days later. I called about it and they said they could exchange them, but I when I went in, the person I talked with (Armando) said I must have caused the problem myself, even though it was the tops of the shoes and I had only walked in them on streets, so there was no way I caused the damage. They were definitely not interested in listening to me or finding a solution. Huge bummer as I like to shop local, next time I'll try somewhere else or go online. read more

I've only come here once, and this place is a great place to get shoes. It's a kinda small store and it gets busy sometimes but the staff are friendly and nice. It's a hard place to see if you are driving by because the windows are kinda tinted. When we came it was after the Eaton fires and they had free or discounted shoes (I don't really remember) for victims of the fire. The staff seem like they are very professional and they can even measure your feet to see which shoes fit you! The prices are average and not overpriced which is good. They even have a USA Olympic runner's jersey hanging on the wall. Overall it's a place that's kinda hard to spot but they have very great shoes, and friendly staff. I would recommend. read more

I forgot the name of the person who helped me, but he pulled out a handful of different shoes for me to try on. Tried a variety of shoes and definitely could feel the difference in them. Picked a pair but found an older model in the sale section. Staff member didn't pressure me into the new one. Ambience: It's decently sized with plenty of running shoes, apparel, etc. They have a box of sales items, and there's a machine that you can step on so they can determine your stance / gait? He asked me what I was looking for, which characteristics I might prefer in my shoe, my running goals, etc. It was definitely a very personalized process. I tried on over 5 pairs of shoes and settled on a pair of Brooks; he remained patient and professional throughout our entire interaction, explaining which shoes were best for which terrain, purpose of orthotics / insoles, etc. I asked him about running, and he provided me with some flyers for a club that meets here for weekly runs. I went out of my way to come to this place because of all the reviews. I grew up in New Mexico and ran cross country and have fond memories of this small shoe store where the team was obsessed with running and knew a dizzying amount of info about every shoe. And so fair or not, I kind of came expecting that. I wound walk in. I would meet someone who just knows an insane amount about shoes and is willing to share that knowledge and help me find my best shoe. My experience wasn't bad, it just also was not great. It was just meh. I did get one on one service and that was nice. But I have been having challenges with my feet and was hoping by offering what I was challenged with I might get some personalized recommendations. Not really. He watched me walk once or twice. He out me on a machine to analyze my feet and then said some of what was on there was probably true but some not. He came and brought out a number of shoes. I asked him if any of the shoes were particularly good for the food condition I had. "Not really." Ok. I asked a few more questions and it became clear I wasn't going to really get any guidance, expert insight, or anything like that. And that was that. He had me walk around. All the pairs felt decent enough but any questions I asked he didn't have any insight to offer. He never checked the fit or anything else even after I said I had been wearing the same style shoe for so long and had come in because I wondered if I needed to reevaluate my shoe wear. And so that was that. Again- it wasn't a bad experience. But it also wasn't good. Like if I lived in Pasadena I would probably just go ahead and go there. But would I travel 30 miles again to go back? Nope. My experience didn't live up to the hype and so I will probably look elsewhere for future purchases. read more

I used to frequent this store to purchase energy gels and running shoes but after today's experience, I won't be coming back. I brought a friend in who was looking to buy a new pair of running shoes and we were helped by a middle-aged gentleman whose name I didn't catch. Initially, he was very nice in recommending different pairs of shoes for my friend to try on. She decided on a pair she liked, and asked if there were any alternative colorways since she wasn't a fan of the color. We were informed that this was the only color available in store. My friend suggested she would purchase the shoe online in a color she liked, to which this gentleman's attitude immediately turned sour. He stared at her with a hostile look, and said "well then we won't get the credit for it". This obviously made us both very uncomfortable, and my friend apologized for the inconvenience. She even asked if it was possible to order online and pick up in store. He continued to stare, and said "we don't have an online store". He proceeded to stare at us with a dirty look until we left the store. The whole exchange was incredibly unprofessional and it left us both feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. It is completely unreasonable to expect your customers to spend over $100 on a shoe they don't like just so employees could "get credit" for it. Overall, this left a really sour taste in my mouth, and I will be shopping at other running stores with better customer service (and a better selection) from now on. P.S. I fully intended to buy a pair of Oofos recovery sandals but they didn't have my size in stock. Should I have bought sandals way too big for me just to help them meet their sales goals? read more

Excellent customer service! Came to Run With Us from a recommendation of a family member. They've got a couple of parking spaces in the back lot, otherwise street parking is your best bet. Coming towards the end of the day, parking was easy. Arthur assisted me and was great. He really gave good insight into the shoes he brought out for me. I came wanting to try out the Brooks Ghost, and was looking for a pair that's good for walking and light jogging. It really does come down to personal preference & comfort, and I went with an Asics pair after trying on a few comparable shoes. My bf tried a few shoes as well and chose a pair of Hokas.
