Walked in on the 19th of this month around 6pm, and got a pleasant greeting from Nina and Susana…read more Both very nice, kind and eager to help me. I also noticed that it had a cafe/outdoor seating adjacent to the store. They even offered me a shopping cart and wished me a happy shopping. I did have few things in mind that I have been needing and wanting to get. Where to buy them with great affordable prices? Here at Nordstrom Rack. This was my 1st visit at this store, and will not be the last. I do visit the Glendale area quite often. As I was browsing their aisles, I noticed a lot of items by famous designers, and their sale racks 70 to 75% off. The cashier even offered me 5% discount, if I join their rewards program, so I did. Card is already in the mail. Aisles were easy to navigate and everything was placed in the right places and NOT cramped like some other stores are. I have never encountered any type of a problem in any one of their locations. Bought a lot of things on this visit from practically every department. They have shoes, accessories, cosmetics, women's, men's and kids department, along with kitchen/bathroom essentials. Also, houseware stuff. They have toys and a lot more. Needed underwear in a pack of 6, not in any particular brand, but of course the size has to be right. White color. I also needed a nice pillow. Came in 2. I bought this beautiful, 3 inch heel gray color shoe, to match a light gray short sleeve blouse with rhinestones. I also bought a pair of dark blue color jeans with rhinestones. I guess I had rhinestone fever that day,:-)) Got me this beautiful Summer/Spring blouse with yellow/purple stripes. Saw these fashionable glasses, tried them on and it looked nice on me and complimented my face. Got that too. You can also wear them as prescription glasses. I can never get enough of vases, got a nice flower vase, a fashionable pant/skirt with sequins/diamonds on it (not real diamonds), and it was the last one left. Looked perfect on me! 2 transparent soap dispensers, 2 room sprays, a nice mug with an inspirational message on it. "good vibes only"! One heart shaped crystal Jewelry box that you can use for anything. And a festive decorative Autumn wreath for my door to welcome fall. I believe that's all I got. The store along with the restrooms and dressing rooms were very clean. While waiting in line to check out, got couple of drinks and candy. Ample parking lot and Love Nordstrom Rack!! Thank you all very much!:-))

Manager said that they don't sell worn shoes, but half of the shoes in that store are worn, so before buying anything , people should take a picture and video, otherwise they will make you swallow their damaged merchandise

Every other place I called I had to wait at least 2-5 minutes on hold. I drove up from south Madison Heights and parked on the side street with bakery. Smelled great! Store has enough space even in these times to allow a comfortable browsing experience as long as it is not busy. I ended up asking for the incorrect size for the Adidas Yeezy Boost 380 Onyx non reflective, and got a different size one half size up from my normal. I'm thankful that I was asked if I wanted to try the original size I assumed I needed so I could determine the correct sizing for me. This is the clear competitive advantage of shopping locally and at a brick and mortar location. I was able to inspect my shoes to ensure there were no unacceptable defects on the spot and the box which I care about keeping in good condition. To top it all off, the size I ended up with was a significant discount to prices on the market for the aforementioned 380s in that size and the previous half size down, so I ended up saving money choosing to head over to Endangered. Shopping local pays! It's objectively a better experience and ensures businesses that operate at a high level of professionalism will survive and add to our community in Pasadena and Los Angeles in general. Endangered represents this very well and exceeds my very high expectations when it comes to retail shopping experiences. This place has a ton of brands that rep the culture. Stop by, you will not be disappointed. Bring your fresh stuff that you need to clear out of your closet - they make offers on nice articles.

The biggest selection of clothing is women's, although there is a small children and men's area. The shop is in a lovely former private home which also houses the offices of the Assistance League. There are plenty of housewares and decorative items and I often purchase greeting cards there for 75 cents each. The icing on the cake is that the Assistance League was the first nonprofit, non-sectarian, non partisan organization started in the western United States. The League's origin goes back to the great San Francisco Fire and Earthquake when Anne Banning, a Los Angeles society woman, and some of her friends, assisted victims of the disaster. Years later, in 1919, the first chapter of the league was formed and the work continues today. The money raised by the Assistance League goes right back into the local community and supports the arts for youth, among other things. You can drop your donations off during the hours the shop is open.
